It would be more of a pact between the two. Entity feeds on the Survivors hope, Pennywise feeds on the Survivors fear. It’s a win/win.dbd900bach said:

FPS drops is usually the only thing that screws me with Ruin. I never bother looking for it unless my team mates are balls awful and can’t hit Greats. If they can, I just work through it. It’s no skin off my nose if the Killer has Ruin. Just slightly irritating when I get a lot of progress, then the Killer comes over, kicks it, and hard patrols the Gen looking for “that one Survivor who can do Gens with Ruin easy.” All while my team mates uselessly run around looking for a Ruin cause they haven’t memorized the totem spawn points of the map yet.Sarief said:@Orion said:

Ruin is the perk that teaches you to hit great skill checks.
Once you do, it's just an issue if server lags or not.
Eventually it will only take you 80 seconds to do gens with ruin, opposed ~70 with skillchecks.
Can't find ruin in 10 seconds? don't look for it.Skill checks are client-side.
I meant if server lags the "start" of skillcheck can be offset to the point of non existing.
More so, if it does, you can experience severe fps drops and other stuff.

Windows have fast/slow vaults. Pallets need something else as well. A slower slide for not having any momentum before sliding. Just how it should work. You slow vault a window because you hit it at an angle, you slow slide because you didn’t have any running momentum.
Though I can already see the usual bias Survivor players have dogpiled this thread... -

Survivors still said the game is unfair and too hard when I did solo que as Meg with her pure white outfit and hair and used No Mither, We’ll Make It, Urban Evasion, and Iron Will. Went from Rank 10 to Rank 1 in two weeks.ShockDoc said:As someone who has been rank 1 killer multiple seasons and rank 1 survivor for multiple seasons, it is soooo much easier are frequent that my team of survivors got all survived than when killer got the 4 kill...
I have made it a point to show how easy it is to survive and solo qued as the biggest character (mr.king) with no items and no perks... easily made rank 1 and survived most of my games. (around 80%+ survival rate) This was solo que. when in a group it became even easier.
If you think killers are overpowered, you may just be playing survivor wrong. -
You two were hilarious and it was a fun stream. Patty is so cute too!

I have tissues for you and all of your upcoming buffs in the next chapter. Rivers are flooding from your tears. When you stop Looping, Gen Rushing, and using voice comms for an advantage of free perks, maybe Killers will lend an ear and care. So they've settled for something that is too easy for SWF and too hard for solo play lol....In my opinion if they really want to balance the game, they need to go all one way or the other....either just support SWF and balance the game around that, or don't allow anyone to queue together.
At bare minimum, if they are not going to go one way or the other, I think they should make certain informational perks baseline, like Kindred or Bond, so solo players are also aware of their teammates' positions and whether or not the killer is camping or someone is going for a hook save.
Maybe balance the game around SWF but give people queueing up solo some sort of bonus? I don't know; it wouldn't be perfect, but there are some things they could try to do.
I wish they would only allow people to queue up solo. Keep KYF of course but only unranked matches and no random killers queueing into a group.

Hacks
She was in a previous chase, and switched to another Survivor without “breaking” the chase, preserving Bloodlust.
She had Play With Your Food stacks from chasing and letting her Obsession escape.
I know she wasn't in a previous chase because she literally teleported from me someone instantly grabbed me off the hook then she teleported back, it was on Autohaven I believe and I was heading to the other side of the map on the straight away, trying to at least but she barreled right over me within the first 10 seconds or so of the chase.
Well... hacks or had Play With Your Food stacks I suppose. Do you remember the perks?
I want to say it was MYC Ruin Calling and Chili.
I can’t say for certain, but there hasn’t been any buffs for her speed. She still is the slowest Killer in the game with her movement speed being 96.25% while Survivors are 100%. Most Killers are 115% movement speed, except for Hag and Huntress (and recently to be added, The Spirit) who’s Movement speed is set at 110%, respectfully. As well as Michael Myers in Tier 1 Evil Within has 105% movement speed.
Thougj at even tier 1 Bloodlust The Nurse is 101.25% movement speed allowing her to slowly catch up.
Hacking is still on the table though. They might have even made it subtle like giving her the standard 115% movement speed of most Killers. -

A flare gun could instantly stun the Killer, instantly blind if they're shot directly in the face, but only be usable once, cannot be saved by a black ward by reducing it to 'one charge' for the rest of the trial, can't have any add-ons to save it from being consumed when used, and so on.
But it should also be truly extremely rare, you know? Like, rarer than a Skeleton Key or Rainbow Map, or the ultra-rare add-ons for the other Survivor items.
Still not a fan, I play survivor mainly, and this this would be way too op. Knocking survivors off a killers shoulder is a bit of a bit idea (pretty much a pallet to go). Basically having a god item but making it super rare isn't going to make it less op.
So you mean my rank 1 teamates when we get ebony + insta hatchets + extra hatchets and they all dc within the first 3 minutes of the match? Yeah, super OP indeed.
So it’s the Killer fault your teammates Rage Quit cause the Killer used add ons they/you deem “OP” and don’t like? Cool Beans. Always blame the Killer.
To the OP, I’m alright with this idea. I mean, we’ve had firecrackers and the party cracker. Don’t see why not, most Survivors screw up the timing anyway.
There's no deeming anything, it's a fact. 90% of all killer ultra rares are completely overpowered.

Surprisingly enough my biggest jump scare was when I was Killer.
Loaded into a match as Billy. It was Rotten Fields and a random Dwight had spawned near me and was hiding in the cornfield, but I didn’t know that. (I was still pretty new to the game at this time.)
I revved up my Chainsaw and started a sprint toward the nearest Gen, and BOOM, the Dwight that spawned near me just ran out right in front of me. I never even saw him! It was like driving at night and deer just runs out in front of your car. I hit him and screamed “AHHH! WHERE THE ######### DID YOU COME FROM!?”, even threw my controller in shock.
I’ll never forget that moment as my favorite DBD memory. Where a random Dwight scared the piss out of me as Billy. -

I'll make noises to show the person the hatch and once they see it I'll move far away so they know i'm not trolling them.
The killers that stand near it and wait then if you gt in say I was going to give you the hatch yet swing at you or the worst. They had no intention of giving you the hatch ever.
-
I’ve had one recently where the last guy in the SWF ran up to me as Myers after I killed the other three. I downed him and carried him to the hatch. It was a fun game, they tried the SWF stuff using comms, but it wasn’t enough to win. Nothing toxic at all, so I gave last guy hatch when he gave up.

I would more be inclined that the perk and add ons would mearly speed up the timer and have you bleed out faster.redsopine1 said:Or just add it onto the mangled perk and addons that cause heavy bleeding -
Not only that, but perhaps that if the Survivor stands still and does not preform any action or movement for 1 minute, the timer is put on hold.Vietfox said:I'm cool with that. Maybe a base of 5 min timer but when running bleeds faster, making it down to 2-3 minutes.
Giving a base of 5 minutes would punish any killer who decides to bodyblock.
This would stop body blocking abuse from Killers (or grieving Survivor players). -
You could use Bond or Pharmacy. This wouldn’t force you to have it. It wouldn’t really be all that hugely impacting. I want killers to be able to put more pressure too, but not by making some perks a must to survive. -

No we aren't. It's stupid to force anyone to wait longer than they have to for the update. PC should't be forced to wait an extra week or two just because consoles take a while to allow the updates. What they should do is make sure that consoles get the update in as little amount of time as possible.
As a pc user I have no problem waiting for it to be done when it's ready. If I've got to wait an extra day r 2 or w/e for it to be ready for all platforms then so be it. It's not the end of the world, it's not BHVRs fault they're trying to be fair.
If you and the rest are so worried about how long it's taking then go buy a pc for all the console users and give BHVR the receipts so they can release it now.
It's normally a week or two minimum for console updates to get approved. So that would mean purposely delaying the patch on pc for potentially two extra weeks for no other reason than dropping the updates at the same time. There's a reason you rarely see companies release things on pc and consoles at the same time.

But what if it isn’t that? Then whats the strat?
Remember that camping is wildly used for anything these days. If a survivor loops the killer around the hook, that killer is called a camper, even if it wasn´t his intention.
Killers use BBQ to have a reason to leave the hook, yet survivors are so good at hiding behind a gen or in the terror radius, that there won´t show up a new target for the killer. When that happens, the killer KNOWS that there must be someone nearby. When he starts searching = camping.Ok this is ironic in a way since killers tell survivors all the time to hide behind a gen and get closer to hook to counter BBQ. So now it's survivors fault the killer searches around the hook causing them to quote unquote camp.
Now if the killer looks around and finds no one that's fine, but when they sit there and do nothing but circle the hook or camp it that's camping. IF they're chasing someone around the hook, that's legit and not camping in any way shape or form.
The person getting chased needs to run the killer away so person can be unhooked, not sit there and try and fake the killer out and prove how cool they are at earning boldness points.
This has consequences. Since the killer won't see anyone, he might camp.
Every survivor who has even the slightest skill, can stay in the open, count to 4 and run somewhere else. Who's not skilled enough for this, hides behind a gen.
Survivors want the killer to leave the hook, but don't want to give him a new target. They want the best of everything.
Nobody got exactly what they wanted... -

Mostly it’s because a lot of Killers are crap and just want the Survivors to come to them. Sure, there are legitimate times to camp... but a lot of it’s just campers waiting out to kill one or two folks, then they play catch up at the end with NOED.

Adren is also a one time thing, where NOED lasts as long as the totem is active. That could be 0 hits, that could be 4 hits. NOED is also always useful when it does proc, unlike Adren which will only be useful a fraction of the time where it procs. There are a lot of differences.
