I’ve actually gotten that perk to save my ass once after I used Deliverance. I also used it to distract a hard camping Trapper JUST long enough I got a hook save, and was able to position myself to body block the Feng right out of the exit gate.iceman2kx said:I'm not gonna lie, if I see a survivor throw a pebble, I let them live. I don’t run SC just because I know one too many Survivors who are overly reliant on it. They absolutely crumble under pressure of being injured, and make some stupidly HUGE mistakes because they are so used to “always being healthy” they panic like crazy when injured.
Plus, for the reason you said. They just want you to rush gens while they soak up the points. -
I’m great at Looping, though I hardly ever do it because I don’t need it. Just juke the Killer. Killers always are so surprised I didn’t just run to the next Pallet... I don’t need it simply because I’m strong enough to juke, easy, and if I go Looping, I’m already making myself too strong. DS would just make it so boringly easy the Killer night as well not even be on the map.powerbats said:@SovererignKing I suck at looping, rank 1 and i don't run DS and even if I didn't suck at looping I'd still not use it.

Well, that’s a special case. May I ask why you are coming to PS4?Vietfox said:

You’re seriously going to compare DS and Ruin? Ruin only has an effect if the Survivors suck at Skill check AND can’t find the totem. It’s all on the Survivors sucking. DS has no input on the Killers side. It’s still on the Survivor to miss he Skill Check or go down close enough to a hook to be dribbled or instantly hooked. I’ve had more than my fair share of Survivors run right n do to a Pallet or out in the middle of nowhere and just... stop and tea bag me cause they know they have DS and there is nothing I can do to stop it.purebalance said:@MakoFenrir said:

What makes them scrubs for running it? I've not been around too long but every killer post moans about it yet it seems to be stopped quite easy? Just down them close to a hook, pick them up and drop them a few seconds later, rinse repeat. Or am I missing something?
Should we talk about killer scrubs running ruin?
-
Guessing you’ve never seen the high ranks where a Survivor can easily waste up to a minute or more Looping. That’s 3/4 of a Gen. times that by three with three others on Gens. Now give that Survivor DS and another 30 seconds at the least. Easy 3-4 Gen chase. You’re not always going to down them close to a hook, even within Dribbling distance. Also, there is no “stopping it”. Dribbling just delays it for next time. Enduring just mitigates it slightly, though still plenty of time to make it to a Pallet or window and start Looping again.MakoFenrir said:

Only two ways DS is “stopped” : The Survivor misses the Skill Check, which isn’t on the Killer to actually “stop it”. That’s relying on the Survivor screwing up. Dribble or down them right under a hook and camp them till they die.
First one, wouldn’t call it a counter if you have no control over if they miss it or not. Second one, Survivors just Gen Rush you while you waste your time camping. Still a loss unless the Survivors are morons and try to save him.
Basically the only way DS gets “stopped” and has no effect is if the Survivor running it, or the rest of the Survivor team sucks and are total morons. -

Played every Killer extensively. Nurse Main for a while as she was the hardest to play on PS4. Left her for last to learn. After I did that, I just kind of bounced between them all. I’ve been playing nothing but Spirit lately and she’s looking like my new Main for a while. Though Doc and Hag are my least favorite. I just don’t like they way they work.
-
Devour Hope, Hex : Haunted Grounds, Sloppy Butcher. Those are my core three perks and I’ve been screwing around with others cause I haven’t gotten BBQ on Spirit yet. Don’t need a Ruin, just need to catch 3 people and 3 hooks before game is over. Can try it if you want, doesn’t always work, but it’s more reliable than Ruin. Don’t bring Ruin cause Survivors will leave your totems alone. Till it’s too late with Devour Hope.Just_Clown1n_Around said:
I don't know where you've been but ruin is meta and all the best killers run it. It's practically mandatory at rank 1. 99% of killers who don't use ruin at rank 1, use NOED to make up for it. Pick your poison.Ashkiin said:@Just_Clown1n_Around
Not sure how to feel about you generally calling everyone bad and then depending on ruin lol.
I do agree with you though. If you're struggling it has more to do with your ability.
Specially agree on the killers except saying someone is bad overall cause they can't use spirit... I'm great at spirit and most of the others but awful with Billy, doesn't make me a bad killer lol.
But yea, with the exception of Anna right now, every killer can do a decent job. They're just not for everyone. I think people will learn spirit is actually high tier soon. Specially after the buff -
Enough to get P1 level 50 on Spirit. Pulled some “sleep while I’m dead” stuff. Work full time plus collage classes.

Always find it funny when a Squadette use tons of mist offerings and I’m Freddy. All that white mist rolling around, and black silhouettes running around like they are invisible. Then you have a Feng or David in his white jacket blend in cause they are bright.
Opposite Day is fun. -
Trapper did it on orders from his father. He was manipulated by his insane father and nothing superseded his father’s word. Even if what he was told was horrific. He did it out of a twisted sense of duty to his father.CoolAKn said:Each killer can be classified into one of two categories: Evil Beings and Wrathful Victims. Evil Beings are people who murdered for pleasure or might. These killers would have no redemption value, and would not become survivors. Then there's Wrathful Victims - people who were wronged in life, and killed the people who wronged them, and not necessarily evil. They have redemption value.
Evil Beings - Trapper, Shape, Doctor, Huntress, Cannibal, Nightmare, Pig, Clown
Wrathful Victims
- Wraith - unknowingly caused the deaths of many people in his line of work. Killed his boss, a murderer.
- Hillbilly - abused in childhood, he murdered his abusers.
- Nurse - desperate to survive, she worked at the asylum and was abused by the inmates. She slaughtered the inmates when she couldn't take the abuse any longer.
- Hag - kidnapped and fed upon, she escaped and killed her kidnappers.
- Spirit - did not kill anyone, she was the victim of domestic violence and was almost murdered by her father.
Huntress doesn't know any better she was not told by her mother right and wrong and Killing other humans was nothing more than survival and even inher lore it states “Meat taste all the same after its been cooked over and open fire.” She doesn’t know its wrong, she’s just feeding herself.
Leatherface is the same as Trapper. He takes no pleasure in Killing. He mearly preforms under his sense of duty. Like he did for his family, he simply killed to provide the meat in a twisted sense of duty to his family. He feared more than anything failing them, and their expectations of him. He now has a duty he performs for The Entity. He fears failing it even more than he did his family.
Huntress simply doesn’t know better, and Leatherface and Trapper are simply preforming their duties as ordered out of a twisted manipulation. -
Why did the developers change the Left For Dead Shirt on Claudette then? Simple, because it made her near on literally invisible. Same thing here. There’s a difference between playing Stealthy, and literally being near on invisible to the point the Killer might as well play the game blindfolded.WhateverIGuess said:Play Stealth...

Oh wow nerf stealth some characters are way too stealthy -
You can still catch up and hit Survivors with 110% movement speed. You can still make something of it even if you miss. Nurse, yeah, that doesn’t work. The cooldown should be a bit shorter, but it’s still not as detrimental as missing your Blinks.tehshadowman33 said:@SovererignKing said:

Oh, @SovererignKing I just want scratch marks to be brighter so you can see them better not more compressed by Predator! However now that you mentioned it, I might use it on my Spirit. -
I’m all for giving her the ability to use her power at half and full. Basically “two” charges. Like Nurse Blinks.Claudette_Baguette said:Awesome feedback!
I wish scratchmarks wouldn't be as delayed and that you could use her power quicker and even when it's not full.
I just want her base kit to be more powerfull and her addons nerfed becase she is so addon dependant.I highly disagree with giving her nurse speed. Survivors would literally outrun her. She would need crazy buffs to make up for it.

I see where you’re coming from, but truthfully if you want better accuracy you’ll have to use a perk slot on Predator.Nickenzie said:

I know and that's completely true but I feel like the scratch marks aren't leading the Spirit in the right direction in terms of the survivor's general area most of the times. I often get confused on where the scratch marks ARE GOING and I like if you can see the scratch marks more clearly that you'll be able track the survivor's general location better, I'm putting a lot of emphasis on "Survivor's general location" since scratch marks aren't meant for pinpoint accuracy! However it's okay if you don't agree but that's my view on the scratch marks tho!

Pig can do the same thing without add-ons by just uncrouching. Furtherly Pig isn't 18 feet tall and doesn't visually telegraph (as heavily) that she's about to come out of her crouch (not ambush).
It seems like any other Wraith build, countered by SB and looping.

Wouldn't fit the spirit, and her passive phasing, which I find rather creepy and cool as survivor. You should be able to notice when you phase shift when you PLAY The Spirit, though.

1. Yes, please. Getting sneak attacks from her Haunting is nearly impossible with how loud she is. I usually get them with mind games while Haunting, but if I Haunt and they don’t run away, most of the time I just end up yanking them off a Gen and getting “Possession” event. Though I’m sure that’s because they are willingly ignoring me to rush a Gen.Dreamnomad said:This is the patch notes I want to read next.
The Spirit:
The Spirit has a 50% reduction in noise range when using her ability.
The Spirit's husk no longer has any visible difference from the spirit.
The Spirit's base cooldown on her ability is reduced by 60%.
While The Spirit is phasing scratch marks appear sooner near running survivors and appear much brighter.
Mother-Daughter Ring: No longer removes scratch marks.
Father's Glasses: Survivor's suffer from hemorrhage when hit within 5 seconds of coming out of phase. Survivor blood trails are visible while using Yamaoka's Haunting.
Prayer Bead Bracelets: Completely removes the range of the sound emission radius while using Yamaoka's Haunting. Slightly increases Yamaoka's Haunting movement speed. Slightly increases Yamaoka's Haunting duration.
Dried Cherry Blossom: Slightly increases the passive phasing duration. Slightly increases the frequency of passive phasing. Moderately increases Yamaoka's Haunting duration.
Juniper Bonsai: Slightly increases the frequency of the passive phasing. Slightly increases Yamaoka's Haunting duration.
2. If you’re referring the mind games. Literally just Phase Walk and stay in the same spot. The sparkle isn’t that big of a deal imo.
3. Way too much. 25% reduction is fine. (5 seconds, so 15 base regeneration speed)
4. Use Predator if you’re having trouble following scratch marks.
5. Deal. Like that one.
6. I would prefer : Killer sees “glimpses” of Survivors. Like Survivors see “glimpses” of Freddy when put to sleep. Let her see Blood Trails normally. If you want to see them light up like Christmas, use Bloodhound. (Bonus if you use Sloppy Butcher).
7. I’m good with this one too. Like it.
8. The phasing passive is enough. This add on needs no change. It’s massively disorienting to Survivors already when you use it.
9. If they bump it to rare add on, alright. -
I’ve literally been doing that. My reason has been there the whole time. It should not be buffed because it defeats the purpose of the “anti-perk” it’s supposed to be. You refute with reasons why it shouldn’t be buffed. You basically came in here all like “well I just don’t want it buffed, so it shouldn’t” I said “it should be buffed because _____” you should do “it SHOULD NOT be buffed because _______”.
You want a perk that makes you injured with other benefits, fine. Make a suggestion to the developers to make one later. However, leave No Mither alone for those of us like myself who’ve grown bored with normal difficulty Survivor, and want to play “Hurt me Daddy” Mode. -

Of course Killers do. The big difference is how much of an impact using those add ons or perks have on viability. A survivor running No Mither has nowhere near the impact on the match as a Killer running those add ons or perks. You can’t compare 1 out of four Survivors to the one Killer. Apples to oranges.ChesterTheMolester said:@SovererignKing
Killers have "hard mode" addons like Speed Limiter, The Beast etc. you can even count Distressing in. They all reward you for the extra challenge.
NM does not in any way. You get compensated for your downside with a bonus like Autodidact and Deliverance.
There is a dichotomy there. Im not against hard mode perks for survivors, but they should have no upsides to them and a reward for your risk.
Even if you pick hard mode on Survivor, you’re still just one out of four Survivors, nowhere the weight of one Killer gimping him/her self. -

Are you viable as a Survivor with No Mither? Yes, yes you are. Most of all if you pair it with Dead Hard.
Are you viable as Freddy? Yes, yes you are.
The difference is what level of viable you are. Survivor with No Mither? Very viable, can still do a hell of a lot. Freddy? No where near as viable as any other Killer in the roster. Not even close.
Same reason I ######### at Tru3Ta1ent and we get into arguments all the time. He’s so “black and white” about a counter. Either you counter it or you don’t, no middle ground. He refuses to realize there are “Soft Counters” and “Hard counters”. Just like you here, you’re so black and white. You don’t want to see the shades of grey.
It was sarcasm. I’m saying that whatever the devs day is irrevelent. Freddy needs a buff, spirit does, wraith does, no mither does. Many other perks too. You missed the point, you missed it hard

It’s a challenge perk that isn’t supposed to be rewarding at all really. And DS was MEANT to be get out of jail card. Doesn’t matter what it’s meant to be. If the original concept is messed up, or useless it needs change. You can already make the game harder by bribing no perks. It’s inclusion is stupid. It needs a buff (no mither) Yeah, DS was meant for that. That’s because it was designed before Patch 1.4.0. That patch re-sized the Survivors hit boxes to be smaller, which allowed for Looping to be more powerful by allowing for hugging objects tighter. No Mither was designed AFTER that patch, with Looping in mind for what it is today.
What you want is for No Mither to be made a viable perk that rewards you for taking the challenge. The reward is supposed to be in beating the challenge and still winning like normal. The challenge is the reward in itself. Though for the new generation, that’s not enough. Have to have more, have to be able to make a build around it to be viable.
That’s not what I want. I want it to be a good perk with a drawback to balance out its big bonuses
It’s. Not. Supposed. To. Be. Good.
Get that through your thick skull. What you want is essentially like picking Dante Must Die mode on Devil May Cry, but you get triple the amount of Green Orb drops from killing demons, as well as get double red orbs to level up faster, double yellow orbs for resurrections if you die.
What’s the damn point of picking hard mode, if they just give you a bunch of free ######### that basically takes the challenge out of even selecting it?
You want buffs on No Mither that counter act the draw backs so basically you aren’t even challenging yourself. Just changing your play style a little.
Not all killers are meant to be viable. Wraith should be unbuffed. Freddy shouldn’t get reworked, Spirits fine

I’m not one of those Killers. Not all Killers are supposed to be as easy to win with as others. If they were, there would be no challenge winning with the “harder” Killers. There would be little to no point in picking different Killers other than powers for some light variation.ChesterTheMolester said:

so many games could have simply move on instead of wasting time on a game that is meant to be over
Identity V has this and its amazing

I want to say no because remember back when there was a bug Killers could do by switching from Survivor to Killer rapidly and gain Survivor perks like Bond or empathy? That was a disaster.

$50 Million or more would be my guess on the asking price.

They ban for it with proof. That being said, you need to remove those pictures ASAP. You’ll get in trouble for name and shame rules. Contact a mod and send them proof.

Not rocking Spirit Fury or anything, but I’ve noticed far more often I’m not getting stunned a half the Pallets. I’m just getting “bounced away” a little bit. I’ve also noticed lunges are a bit wonky. The Survivor’s seem to be in my active hitbox cone, not directly in the middle, but off to the left or right and still... wiff.Peanits said:@McCree said:

Meaning of this?In case u haven't seen to stun a killer now they literally need to be under the pallet. Not even a finger of theirs under the pallet when drop it will make them get stunned. Not to mention that the small extra time frame where a killer could get stunned after a pallet was dropped has been removed. While I agree with these changes and makes it better in itself for the gameplay. I want to have the hitbox on the lunge fixed too. I don't want to get hit when the weapon is miles away.
This is almost definitely a bug. I've been stunned while I wasn't under a pallet, it's just inconsistent. Most of the time it won't stun me unless the pallet was dropped directly on me. It's a shame too because I'm rocking Spirit Fury and Enduring and it doesn't go off as often as it should because of it.
These need to both be fixed. -
Noticed the white screen faster, but doesn’t help the Survivors get saves any better. Then again, I stopped caring about items a long time ago.

The hissing? Yeah, it’s a bit annoying. Just the regular moaning she has would be nice.

I should... I only have 20 subscribers but will still be fun. Just busy at the moment. Working 6-7 days a week, work midnights, collage classes, house hold to upkeep. All that crap lol.PigMainBigBrain said:@SovererignKing said:

Rank doesnt matter unless you want games full of nothing but slugging and tunneling. You want an achievement? Aright. Throw this free week in and you have stage 6 cancer when it comes to the community. Let the BM begin.
IKR, college classes in high school is so fun... well not really!

Back on topic, I actually like it when the killer slugs me because, coff coff, No Mither grants infinite amount of recovery from dying state!

However it's true, if you reach rank 1 survivor with No Mither then you can actually say that your rank matters! Reaching rank 1 No Mither is a huge deal and not many people can achieve that!
Did that 2 seasons ago. I need to post those videos I recorded of my journey to a Rank 1 with No Mither, We’ll Make It, Iron Will, and Urban Evasion before I lose them among the lord only knows how many other videos I record... I keep recording every match so I can watch them and see what I did right/wrong. 40 GB of videos is getting excessive though...
