Don’t use them. My brother bought me a set of Turtle Beach PX22 headset for Christmas, but they just make it sound like they are all around me and not to my left, right, behind, in front. The speakers on my Vizio TV set at 18 volume works best for me. I use the Turtle Beach for other games, but it just doesn’t work with DBD for me.

Which is why I’m annoyed. The amount of times I’ve punished hook rushers and idiots who’ve farmed their team mates... well, that’s going to decrease with this change. I mean seriously, don’t freaking Loop me RIGHT NEXT to the hooked guy! Don’t bum rush the hook thinking everything is going to turn out A—OK. Why the hell am I being punished for another Survivor being a flat out nimrod that’s getting their TEAM MATE killed?! 2000 IQ Meg yanking me off the hook right infront of billy-boi is never a fun experience. If anything, the killer is saving me from an unavoidable sand-bagging by standing there and not letting it fly. It sounds crazy, but I actually like it. I would prefer for killers to not be punished for that behavior.

You’re correct. Camping and and slugging are tactics. However the Wraith who slugged me, I was last alive for that match and on the floor. Actually no, never. Most likely I do not play toxic.
But still I already mentioned above that plays like that are like tbagging (hooksmacks, bell ringing, etc).
But camping and slugging in itself are not "bullying"
All those playstyles might harass a single player of that team, but for the team overall it is a free win.
"Bullying" the killer is toying with them to show how that he can't do anything about it and wasting the killers time.
Killer can't really do that without downright giving a free win to the rest of the team.

Just because you don’t, doesn’t mean there aren’t many spoiled and entitled Killers either. There are far more Survivors granted, but that’s because there are simply 4 to every 1 Killer. Toxicity and entitlement is rampant of Survivors side because of toxic content creators who made it popular to “bully the big bad monster.” Not caring at all there the “big bad” in this game is actually a real person. Simply because the game’s balance has been screwed up for years and they could/can get away with that #########.
Mostly the big thing now is the changes to the game. It’s getting better balance wise, not there yet, but Survivors who were used to abusing broken crap, just can’t handle that they can’t be toxic and get away with it. That or they just can’t handle they can’t win without that broken #########. It’s like the ones in MMO’s that find a bug in a spell or a map glitch and abuse the ######### out of it to win, then the developers fix it, and they can’t win anymore and they cry foul. -
No offense, however I’ve had matches where Survivors legit hook rushed me in the basement as Leatherface. This was Rank 16 mind you (before the new rank reset rules) and I downed all 3 in one fell swoop and killed them all... 16k points... not really a whole lot I could have done to stop that...HellDescent said:I f you get 4k and less then 20000bp you might wanna re-think your playstyle.

Getting to Rank 1 as Killer is much harder these days than it was in the past. Most of all for us on PS4, Survivors didn’t know what the hell they were doing. Now, they do. I always knew it was just a matter of time. Survivors on PS4 know the Loops, know the maps, know the Gen locations and totem spawns, have all the best perks. Game has changed for us on PS4 Eveline. Didn't find it hard at all. When I played both of them I had more trouble getting to that rank as a survivor even tho I played survivor more. I love how people just assume things. Especially the same one that got offended by my posts and keep witch hunting trying to provoke me. -

U can either "camp"" from distance with certain killers or camp when the gates are powered, in which case you don't need the map pressure. -

Playing on PS4 there is always one dude who doesn’t ready up and you watch his ping shoot up, down, up, down, up, down... as he frantically invites everyone to party chat for voice comms cause he’s too chicken ######### to play without em. I accept all items cause I know how frustrating it is to bring a toolbox cause you want to do that damn Sabotage daily and you get dodged.

Spoiler Alert : You are always camping. Somehow, someway, you are camping. Even if you blink off the map as Nurse after hooking someone.
(Yes, I’ve done that. My TR was near where I hooked the guy in the basement, after I Blinked and somehow wound up underneath the map. I was called a camper after cause nobody would go to the basement to save them cause they heard the heartbeat.) -
She’s good. I’ve played nothing but her since she came out. Harder to master than the Nurse, but good. She’s not as “brute force” powerful as Nurse, but her mind games with Plane Walking is off the charts. If you’re used to predicting Survivors movements with Nurse, then her Plane Walk sneak attacks can land you hits now and then.
Only issue with her is the jet engine sound Survivors hear when she’s Plane Walking close to them. It’s far too loud and makes sneak attacks so rare. -
Only thing I would say is one more bear trap at base. So instead of 4, you have 5. Maybe 10 seconds less on the timer.

Seriously, the hatch "issue" is easy to counter if killers work for it. If killer kills the second last one and 2 gens (at least) are already done they'll know what's going to happen. Not to mention that 3K is a win already.
As a killer we all aim for 4K, but if i fail to achieve it i won't come to the forums just because i didn't get one kill.
Plus, there is always the off chance some new blood or a new mind might come up with the perfect solution. Going over the same discussion might yield new and exciting results.

What i don't understand is if u don't really mind not getting 4K why u think the hatch is an issue then?
As a Survivor nothing is more irritating than seeing last guy get the hatch... and he has 8k points at the end of the match. He literally did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but gets a freebie off the rest of the team’s hard work.
Lol i got the solution. The hatch opens only when the last survivor has earned a especific amount of bps during the match. -
Only because the Killer has nearly zero counter play to it if he doesn’t slug the third. I can’t count how many matches I’ve found the last guy, hit him, and he simply ran and got lucky and saw the hatch and stood on it. Nothing I can do but have a stand-off or hit him and let him have it. That’s just the Killer in me speaking.Vietfox said:

Trick is not to actually use her power for hits as often as you think. Pretend your phase walking till they panic and put themselves out of position and go in for the hit. Granted, you need to hit at least some, but her power is more for map travel and playing mind games with Survivors.Eninya said:Disagree. I’m east coast NA on PS4 and I get at least one Japanese player every match. Their Ping isn’t too horrible. I enjoy playing against the Japanese players, they are usually very courteous and play well.

We’re a rare breed that’s for sure. We work hard for the power granted by Nurse. Though I’m taking an extended vacation with my mistress The Spirit at the moment.

I’ll agree her lunge is weird. Can’t count how many times I’ve said either “Disagree, that should have hit” or “Wait, how did that hit? The biggest issue is that like Huntress hit box it's not consistent since one time you won't get hit and another time you will.

Not a chance. However, that’s the issue. Using specific perks and specific Killers shouldn’t be a way to counter bad mechanics, as well as ways to suddenly play “catch up” when you fail. To me NOED needs to go just as bad as DS. Gen Rush needs addressed as well. There just simply isn’t enough time to play without at least tunneling like a mad man, if not flat out camping to get your hooks. They could implement a better measure against Camping and such as soon as they fix something with Gen Rush. Looping is pretty much balanced out now. Any more nerfs to Pallets and buildings Survivors will have so little chance to actually escape a Killer.Vietfox said:

I run it in case all 5 gens are done, yes, but honestly i just need to use it once every 20 matches.
I run deerstalker so i can hook the last 2, what's the problem?
Tools are provided to have a succesful match, if u dont know how to use them then it's on u, but dont come over to complain about broken/unfair stuff when u already got the solution.

Hatch is a bad mechanic because it’s too Survivor sided. No amount of more fiddling with perks, Pallets, buildings, ect. will stop the real core issue of the game which is flat out Gen Rush. They need a something real toward objectives for Survivors to do. Not totems, not optional boxes, ect. They need to stop fiddling with variables and tweaking numbers hoping that’s going to fix the problem. They can’t change the maps, perks, pallet counts ect anymore than they already have without giving Survivors no chance. They can’t just leave Gens the way they are without making it giving Killers no chance against an optimal Gen Rush team. Doesn’t even have to be SWF, just Rush the ######### out of the Gens. -

Guess what? It’s not supposed to be fair. That’s the point of you having team mates and everything. It’s not supposed to be fair to an individual survivor. It’s only supposed to be balanced for a team of 4. Which camping is absolutely balanced by the fact he Killer has no map pressure and the rest of your team has free reign of the map. -

A ton. Play more Killer, yes, but I recognize the bullshit on both sides. My PSN name is SoveriegnKing. Feel free to look me up and you’ll see I have 88% (was 92%) of the trophies for the game. DS, Gen rushing, and hatch is in the process of getting fixed.
Out of curiosity, how often do you play survivor? Because you’re just as biased.
Im bothered by it because Killers still lose map pressure by camping. They make a trade off for l securing a Kill. What did you do to deserve that freebie? Oh right, you screwed up and got caught in the first place. -

Works well with Doc and his TR add ons, but the extra large TR on other Killers is kind of meh and doesn’t reach far enough to warrant two perk slots for Coulrophobia and Distressing.George_Soros said:The new Sloppy Butcher is actually great. I still run it to counter Self Care. Seems to do alright, but they could do with buffing the amount of time Mangled adds onto healing. So that it’s a 10 second extra, not 5 seconds.

Don’t really use it anymore. Not worth it. If it doesn’t get auto destroyed, Survivors just Gen Tap it or whatever. I just use Hex : Haunted Grounds and Devour Hope.
They either get stupid lucky and get the right totem off the bat, or Devour Hope gets it’s third token, and all hell breaks loose.
Though I still have to get three hooks in that time and some significant progress. Which isn’t easy in today’s Gen Rush meta. Average game without Ruin is 4-5 minutes. With Ruin, 8 Minutes. So I have to get three hooks in about 3 minutes. -

Doesn’t really matter. No matter how many tweaks they do to Killers, Survivors, Pallets, Maps, or Perks, Gen Rush still wins everything. Not the Survivors fault, it’s just that easy to Rush the Gens. When Survivors buckle down, and optimize Gens, it’s a GG unless the Killer is playing Nurse, or the Survivors are ######### and every time they get chased, they hit the floor in less than 30 seconds.

It's not like I don't play killer. Survivors tbag me all the time at the gates. If it's one guy tbagging at the gate for killing three of his buddies, the last thing I'll be is salty.
