  • Do you consider it bad for me?

I switched to Dwight after his new cosmetic hit, now when I’m at an exit gate I just do goofy #########. Crouch at the exit gate and stare up at the sky, or run around in circles at the exit looking up. All cause it’s looks goofy and dumb. I just want to give the Killer a laugh maybe and some points for smacking me.

I don’t tea bag ever or anything. Just want to known opinions from other Killers. As a Killer, as long as they are flashlight click spamming me or tea bagging, thanks for the free points. I’ll gladly smack you out of the gate.
  • Every single damn game. I’m getting tired of NOED. I hate it as much as I hate DS on Survivors. I always cleanse 2-3 totems per match and one is always taken by Ruin. Though because there is JUST ONE I missed, everything goes to #########. NOED needs to have another restriction applied to it for its activation.

The one I purpose is you need to have at least gotten 4 hooks in the match. This would just ensure that some Killer who is AWFUL and played so bad, he couldn’t even get that many hooks doesn’t just mop up with NOED. This would also ensure he doesn’t just camp and tunnel out one dude and still get NOED.

  • Well, well. Who knew you were one of my friends on my friends list. I gave up trying to make Trapper, but I made a Hunter from Bloodborne. Lol.

Because something doesnt happen all the time does that make it balanced?

Yep, thats why Nurse wont get nerfed. "you deserve to lose the game within 2 min cause that guy played nurse for 200h straight". Just BHVR mindset.

Exactly. Survivors want Nurse nerfed, they better be willing to make an exchange. Nurse’s design makes her the only one capable of standing up against those “SWF Death Squads”. The other Killers can pull it off it the squad screws up enough, but it’s highly unlikely they will. It’s a stupid mindset, but until Survivors are willing to budge, Killers won’t budge either. Survivors are stuck with “######### GOD NURSE” till they give the terrestrial Killers a fair shake.
  • Regardless if the SWF group uses both of the advantages of voice comms, and not being paired with randoms to its fullest extent is irrelevant. They still gain an advantage just for the fact the picked SWF over play solo. Which is wrong, this isn’t a single player game where you get to choose hard mode of solo or easy mode of SWF. It should be the same across the board and only be dependent upon perks and player skill.

SWF results can vary from worse than solo, to highly overpowered depending on how well the Survivors utilize the tools they are given. Still, the fact the tools even exist that has the capacity to boost bad players beyond their normal capabilities, and beyond what the balance of the game was designed for needs to be addressed.
  • @SenzuDuck

I don’t even know where to begin with the bullshit that’s spewing out of your mouth.

Firstly, you have never seen the the scared little Claudette who’s hiding behind tree because she’s unsure where the Killer is? Most of all if it Wraith, or Myers? Yeah, plenty of times I’ve seen Survivors popping squats behind a tree doing ######### nothing cause they are unsure where the Killer is even though he’s MILES away. So i’ll take your damn bet, cause there are PLENTY that are that thick. Which is one of the premises this game was built on “Horror based on the uncertainty”.

Are you literally that dense? Read what you just wrote. Calling out to your mate who has We’ll Make It so that NO OTHER Survivor runs up and unhooks WITHOUT it ensures you get it. I’m not talking about after the unhook, I’m talking about making sure he person that DOES the unhook is the right person. I run We’ll Make It, it's part of my standard build.

Do you know how many times I’ve gotten annoyed cause someone races me to the hook and does the unhook and I can’t use We’ll Make It. Then the Killer comes back and we can’t heal them in time, and I say “Could have healed him to full if I got the unhook with We’ll Make It...”? That chance of that happening is nearly zero if you are on SWF with comms (or not, even if you’re not, you can be designated the team’s medic among you’re friends and everyone leaves you to do the unhooks).

Irrelevent? You have got to be shitting me. How is it irrelevant that instead of wasting a whole minute running around the map looking for your team mates to heal you, you can just say “Meet me at location X and i’ll heal you” in 20-30 seconds? Wasting not even half the time looking?

Totem spawns may suck, but if you beat someone off it chances are randoms aren’t going to haul ass straight from the other side of the map going “hmm he hit him over there, his totem must be there!” It may not last a whole lot longer, but you can be damn sure it would last longer if it wasn’t called out to every single persons on the damn team it’s EXACT location.

Dont bother with your petty little bullshit about “you’re just whining”. Everyone knows that’s your cop out deflection you spew out every time you get your ass backed into a corner. You toss some petty personal attacks on their ability to play the game to try to tilt the person.

I never said I needed help, but hey, again, shove words into my mouth again like you always do. Keep making ######### up to fit your narrative, you’re good at that. I’m speaking completely for a game balance direction, it has absolutely nothing to do with how well or bad I do, or you do for that matter.

Again, STOP PUTTING WORDS INTO MY MOUTH BOY! I never said the “developers are against Killers”. I said they made a mistake, and have to fix that mistake by making SWF an balanced game option to pick over solo Survivor.

I’m going to get straight to the point of the matter, the game is not balanced for SWF. Just SWF alone, not even factoring in voice comms. Survivors play SWF don’t have to worry about if their team mates are good or bad. THEY KNOW cause it’s their friends. They don’t have to think and question if their team mates play style synergizes well with them, THEY KNOW it does. They don’t have to guess who’s running what perks, THEY KNOW. Just SWF alone gives advantages over randoms that the game was not balanced for.

Voice comms just exacerbate that even further with the equivalent of several information perks for free including OoO, Small Game, Empathy, Bond, ect. It also optimizes game mechanics such as “Almost done with last Gen, someone get ready and wait at the gate” “Everyone stay on Gens, I’ll go for the hook save” and the list goes on.

It is completely irrelevant if the Killer is good or bad, or if the Survivors are good or bad. SWF is an advantage over solo randoms the game WAS NOT balanced for. It DOES NOT matter if the Survivors are potatoes and are unable to utilize the advantages SWF gives well enough. The potential power afforded by SWF is far enough to warrant counter measures and restrictions placed on SWF groups (and only the members of the SWF group, based on how many are in the group) to keep the balance of the game in check.

You do NOT get to have free advantages and no draw backs just because you picked a SWF over Solo Que. Not only is it not fair or balanced toward Killers, but it’s also not fair or balanced toward solo Survivors.

Do everyone here a favor and stop putting words into other people’s mouths. Stop acting like people are just “whining” about their personal performance when they are addressing legitimate balance concerns. You don’t care about game balance at all, you just want to hop on here and ######### talk other people can call them bad at the game over and over to feel “superior”. Quit stroking your ego. It’s shallow and annoying.

Raising concerns about legitimate balance concerns is supporting the game by the way. If the developers didn’t listen to any feedback at all, you’d have a player base that is disappointed with the game. Which would equate to less referrals from current players to possible new players, bad reviews, less players, ect. It’s called constructive criticism to improve the quality of the product to appeal to more potential players, as well as satisfy existing players so they continue to support and play the game.

Myself and others stay because the developers actually listen to our feedback, even negative feedback and improve the game. It has VASTLY improved and I am more than happy to tell the developers they are doing a great job. Ever since their split from Starbreeze they have done wonderful things, I will continue to give my feedback, both criticism and positive so they can take it into consideration and work to improve the game. If you don’t like it, there’s the damn door. Nobody cares if some ego stroking narcissist who’s got nothing constructive to say, and only exist here to put others down leaves.

    This tired old argument?

Yeah, SWF was intended, but the developers pushed it too early first of all, and the game was even less balanced for it at the start. Hell, It still isn’t balanced for it. The developers had to make a choice, balance for SWF using voice comms, or balance for the solo players. They chose the latter, cause they didn’t want to cuck solo players. This is turn made SWF using voice comms an unbalanced mess.

Just as McLean said “Nobody said it was supposed to be balanced”. He literally admitted they’ve made decisions that unbalanced the game. SWF is one of them. It’s has the potential to be a game breaking mode in the Survivors favor.

They need to place limitations and restrictions on SWF groups, escalating these restrictions based on on how many memebers are in the group, the more there is, the heavier the restrictions. That way they can balance for the advantage of using voice comms, while not harming solo players. Something like one less perk, running speed is reduced by 5%, healing speed it reduced, totem cleanse speed and trap disarm speed in reduced, etc. Just little tweaks to values that would weaken the SWF players, but be negligible/no effect toward solo players that get matched with SWF members.

    Yawn.
Well, I can tell you have absolutely no idea about balance

    "Running speed reduced by 5%"?
Chases are in no way shape or form affected by SWF - if you're chasing one person the entire match and don't go after anyone else how is that an SWF issue? Thats a bad killer issue, good lord.

    "healing speed it reduced"
Use perks that affect this, if everyone you injure is escaping you, guess what pal - you're bad at the game it's as simple as that.

"totem cleanse speed and trap disarm speed in reduced"
Why, what have these things got to do with SWF, again?

Good killers don't come to the forums to ask for every buff under the sun, good killers just play and slay.
Stop acting like SWF is an unbeatable force that no one can compete with, they're very very beatable.

I can't stop laughing at the "reduce run speed by 5%" that's hilarious.

Just as I can tell you can’t see past your obvious Survivor Bias.

SWF on voice comms telling their mates “Hey, he’s chasing me, go for Gens” or “Hey, I’m at the Killer shack looping him and won’t go down for a while, do Gens or break his totem.” “He’s going to get me soon, someone get close to come save me off the hook.” It has plenty to do with chases. If you’re going to tell your mates to do his or that so they do absolutely everything optimal, then the chase needs to be compensated for so it’s not the same and isn’t as perfectly optimal beyond normal capabilities.

Healing Speed - “Mike, come get me since you run We’ll Make It.” “John And Mary, meet me at X location to heal me”

Totems and trap disarm - “His totem is at X location, everyone try to get it until he goes for someone, then someone break it” or “He’s guarding his totem at X location, everyone Rush Gens while I keep him worried about it and busy” “Trapper laid trap at X location, I’m looping him over here, go disarm it”

I didn’t say they we’re an unbeatable force, I said it’s not balanced. Stop putting words in my mouth to fit your arrogant little narrative, boy.

You cant stop laughing cause you're incapable of thinking beyond your immature little attitude. I honestly shake my head every time you post because 9/10 times is some immature little dribble. You’re wholly incapable of having and sort of reasonable discussion, simply because anytime you get backed into a corner you simply start throwing petty “Well your just bad” insults.

You you want the advantage of voice comma, fine, take the balancing factor restrictions that come with it so the game is balanced for the Killer you’re facing. That way it’s not as far a disparity in power between solo and SWF play.

On on a final note : If it’s true that solo survival rate is abysmal and SWF is so high, this will do nothing but decrease that disparity and make it more fair and even so solo survivors don’t feel so cucked.
  • This tired old argument?

It stops there bc honing stone isn't op. Huntress is already strong without IH because her hatches goes over some obstacles and thru windows. With IH and belt? Lol. It's stupid op.

By your logic Honing Stone is OP. All you have to do is walk into a Bear Trap that’s on the other side of a Pallet or Window. You can’t even duck or dodge out of the way of it. Snap! You’re on the floor.

Lets take away their powers altogether. Trapper is still stronger than Huntress.

Just as you screwed up and couldn’t dodge the hatchet, you screwed up and stepped in a Bear Trap.

I’d love to hear your logic as to why Honing Stone isn’t OP, while Iridescent Head is. It makes no sense, you can avoid both if you’re good. If the Trapper and Huntress are damn good, they’ll get you. The only difference is the Trapper plans ahead on your movement, Huntress does it on the fly. You just crumble under pressure while being chased.

Well some trappers traps are really well hidden and against a really good huntress she's not going to miss very often if at all.

Which is fine in my book. If she doesn’t miss, that means she’s very skilled at predicting Survivor movement. If she wiffs her hatchets, Huntress could very well be considered the worst Killer in the game. A Trapper who can’t hide traps well at least still has 115% movement speed.

I just feel a lot of people underestimate how detrimental having two less hatchets (even if you’re running Infantry Belt with Iridescent Head) is.

I also feel like this is more a discussion about player skill, not the add on. I’ve had many, many, Huntress’s that used the combo but it was pointless cause she missed.

The term of “OP” gets thrown around so often, it’s lost its meaning. “OP” to me means that any newbie could pick up, and go ham with it. Some 10 hour Killer could take out Survivors with 1000’s of hours under their belts with it. That’s not the case here. Some 10 hour or less Huntress isn’t going to be a Dead aim shot and know how Survivors move, when to charge the shot, when to let it fly, aim around corners, ect. Just because he tossed on a couple add ons, isn’t going to suddenly make him a God with Huntress.

Its the same with Survivors. It’s not like purple flashlight with best add ons, suddenly some newbie is going to be a God with flashlight saves and bullying the Killer at every Pallet.
  • Hell, why stop there? Let’s get rid of Trappers Honing Stone while we’re at it. It’s totally not your fault you couldn’t dodge the hatchet, just like it’s totally not your fault you stepped into a Bear Trap.
  • Playing killer is ez with the harvesting thing going on. Survivors are slowed down obviously.

In my eyes those survivors are right with "tryhard, ######### cuck, can only rank during a farming event"...

In my last 100 games, pretty much noone called me anything except people who were toxic right from the start, who tbagged after dropping pallets. I'm playing most likely trapper with ######### builds during the event, just to get the vial ######### going.

Playing Nurse is nothing you've to be proud of...

    I'm high rank btw...

You’ve obviously not met the high rank SWF squads who already have their 30/30 vials and things are back to normal with the usual Gen Rush - DS/BT/DH(SB)/SC meta perks. I played nice and got nothing but that after I hit Red Ranks again.

So no, he didn’t deserve to be called these names, just as the Survivors who went back to the usual bullshit with me don’t deserve to be called those names. Just because it’s an event doesn’t mean the other side is obligated to “take it easy and play nice.”
  • I play both sides. I don't think survivors have stopped playing survivors because of the nerfs. It's just because of the event objectives that many survivor mains are now playing Killer to earn the hallowed costumes before the event ends. Also, if they allow players to harvest even after completing the vial objectives, so that players can use their offerings and farm bloodpoints, it will actually solve matchmaking issues in a way tbh.
Most of my Survivor Main friends refuse to even play Killer. They won’t even waste the time trying. They would rather just buy the second Survivor cosmetic with Auric Cells. They said it would be a pointless and annoying grind they could skip for $10, they don’t care about the Killer cosmetics cause they don’t play Killer anyway as well. As well as most of them don’t care about the BP on Killer cause they already have all the perks for their Survivors.

It was just another failed failed attempt by the developers to try to get Survivor Mains to actually care about Killer in my opinion.

Yeah, cause this Billy totally wrecked me and the rest of my team. Those super quick saw charge time add ons made him so OP. “BiLLy OP, PLZ NURF!!!”
  • Killer lobbies are bugged again on PC. Has nothing to do with lack of Survivor players. If there was a lack of Survivors, you’d get stuck waiting ages for others to show up in lobby with you to play Survivor as well. Unless you are a 4 man stack of SWF. This happens after major updates all the time, then the developers do something with the net code and things are back to normal.

It has nothing to do with Survivors getting nerfed or being unappealing to play.

The point was to actually get Survivors to try playing Killer for once. Vise versa for Killer only players.

Developers have been trying for AGES to get players to at least try the other side. Few incentives needed for Killers to play Survivor, but you need a massive push to get Survivor Mains to actually even try Killer.

They wont cause “Killer is stressful and not fun”. Mostly cause they know it’s not fun dealing with Looping, meta perks, and being Gen Rushed our the ass.

I don't play killer cause the lobby time is and always is ridiculously long, I can get into 3 survivor games before I get one killer lobby filled.

Ah. Killers lobbies are long because the developers have bugged the lobbies again. Something wrong with the net code that goes wonky after major patches, happens every time. Then they do a small patch later on and that usually fixes them.

I was just explaining why the developers try to push Survivors to play Killer more often. I currently have 23 friends who aren’t even playing DBD right now cause they filled their 30 vials on Survivor. They are purely Survivor players, don’t care about BP because they have everything they want. The refuse to play Killer and said “If I even want more than Claudette or Dwight, i’ll just buy it for $10. I'm not slogging through Killer for that.” They do the same thing with dailies trying to get people out of their “comfort zone”.

  • i like how all the new survivor skin make them easy to see. Great design.

Dwight’s skin isn’t really all that more visible than anything else he has to wear... if you’re talking Claudette, who cares. She’s still petite and black. She still blends in just fine.

That was a joke by the way. I know "those types" of teams exist that do it for the lulz. DBD balance issues aside, those groups exist in every MP game I play. Annoying, but what you gonna do?

The funny thing is that I can understand those types of people. It's the ones that play hard, seriously, in this game that make me say, ######### why? It's like, we already know that survivors are strong...where's the challenge to go super try hard in a game that isn't balanced for that type of play to begin with.

Ah, my bad. I also berate the Killers Doing it too though. I’ve had more than a few Killers that just made me go “uhhh ######### why?” Leatherface insidious camping any hook he got. Spirit with Ebony Mori, you name it.

ROFLSTOMPING now and then is nice, but when it's every single match, would be boring as all hell in my opinion. I sure don’t enjoy playing the same game over and over on Ultra Easy mode. To each there own I suppose...

I'd rather them do solo experiments. We already know swf is broken.

You don’t even need comms. They showed that when they did a no comms experiment. Killers might as well be an AI since they rely so much on survivors mistakes  You don't need comms if you're good at situational awareness and have a plan from the start. Once you get to know your mates, you don't need audio cues to know what to do next. It helps, but it's not necessary, especially for a simple operation. I used to play 4on4 Quake all the time and we never used comms, but we knew the timings and everyone had their job to do. That's mostly what we needed to know besides being competent with game mechanics.

Pallet loop and rush gens if not in chase. Easy...

Oh I'm not arguing that. It's also easy to wait and punish their altruism and capitalize on their mistakes. That comes pretty easy too.

Not really. Making mistakes as survivor is rare for me to do. I know where every pallet is on the maps so running the killer is ez. The only killer that’s a real challenge is broken nurse.

Well, I'm happy for you. You can teach your friends and do your own experiment then?

We already have on Xbox. We destroy every killer we come across. It personally made me sick of even playing this game. It’s even worse to think how some swf groups out there will bully and take advantage of the crap balance. Disgusting

Well, maybe those groups want to destroy every killer they come across too and feel disgusting about it also?

That what I call kids who want instant gratification and no resistance. That’s what really irks me the most about Survivors like that. I just don’t understand how you can have fun doing nothing but winning every single time. That’s as boring as loosing every time.

If you eant to win every single time, go play a single player on “Don’t hurt me daddy” easy mode.

    What nub killers lol

If you run DS during a event you are just as bad as killers who run RUIN and Moris during the event.
No need to try and deliberately cheat others out of rewards.

Uh, Ruin is required against anyone trying, but DS isn't required to survive.

No perk is a requirement. It’s just a meta. I’ve survived perfectly fine without running Self Care and Decisive Strike although they make your objective easier as a survivor. You’ll be fine without your precious BBQ and Ruin. If you HAVE to rely on them and can’t win without them then don’t complain about survivors running DS, simple as that.

Oh sure, just let the Survivors who are actually trying, or are playing SWF and all of them have their 30/30 vials and aren’t going for the flowers, Gen Rush the ######### out of me in less than 5 minutes. Good plan.

BBQ, Nah, Ruin, must have Rank 5 to Rank 1. Most Survivors at that rank aren’t giving a ######### about the flowers and are back to the same old same old.

Plus, even before then, I didn’t see any Survivors “taking it easy” on me and not packing the meta perks with insta-heals, best flashlight in the game, BNP’s on Purple toolboxes.

Cause you know, it’s perfectly possible to get 12 hooks without camping and tunneling in less than 5 minutes.

Don't bother, those numbers are actually a quote from Bahroo, who's a killer main twitch streamer. He said that "for himself he considers a game a win if he kills 4 survivors, counting hatch escapes as a kill. 3-2 as a draw and 1-0 as a loss."

I was there in person when he said it. He was talking about his personal feelings of satisfaction as a killer main. I might be misremembering the value of 3 kills.
I also disagree with the notion of quantifying your success in kills, but this is his oppinion and he's free to feel that way. Personally, if I get 4 kills, I feel disappointed because it means I got a bad case of matchmaking. I won because I was matched too low for my skill not on my own merit.

Or maybe most Killers are still thinking along the lines of the old hook progress determine your pip, therefore your win conditions? You know, the old system that you had 4 points per Survivor, first hook got you a point, second hook got you another point, death hook got you two points.

Has nothing to to do with AdmiralBahroo’s opinion.

To be fair, campy Leatherface kinda suits him thematically (based on the first movie). Don't disturb his basement/living quarters and you won't have any problems. He didn't even leave his place (and "hooked survivor") to chase Sally until everyone else was already dead, he just waited for the teens to come to him while they were looking for their missing friend.

This is true. While being nice that it suits him as such, it’s not exactly good for DBD. Not just that it makes for poor gameplay, but now with with the Chaser Emblem being negatively effected by camping, it’s even worse.

Leatherface has my vote for the next “Killer re-work” after Freddy.

A killer for forehead players no skills just place traps and “ hope” people step in them, no skills required just a easy killer to play with skills prospective  if you’re bad at the game.
Please refrain from derailing the thread with such nonsense, thank you.
Please refrain yourself from replying to me since you cant handle opinions . Assuming you’re a trapper main who thought skills existed with your favorite killer, try playing nurse on console i’ll consider you a skilled killer.
    https://m.youtube.com/user/MrDemonKing21

Nurse Main on PS4. Trapper is by no means a “forehead” Killer. He requires careful planning of where to set your traps, when to set them (make sure nobody is around to watch you plant them), quick thinking (place a trap while mid chase at a loop to shut it down, while keeping track of your prey mind you), as well as many other things to keep track of.

To play Trapper effectively at high rank requires more brain power than Nurse. Nurse you have to plan ahead only during the chase, Trapper you have to plan before, during, and after chases. He also requires you know Survivors running paths to an extreme degree, in order to “push” them toward areas you have traps set. This is either to actually trap them, or cut off all possible escape routes. Which is my favorite as I love to do this and as soon as they go the way I want them to, I often laugh and say “Well, now what genius?”

If you think you can just “set traps” and hope on blind luck, you’re in for a world of hurt.
  • His design is literally best suited to camp. Even with BT and everything, his multiple hit Chainsaw Swipes make it the most optimal play. Personally the developers really screwed up making his power like that, but they couldn’t clone Billy’s Chainsaw Sprint.

Not Camping as Leatherface is literally gimping yourself and not optimizing your power. It sucks, but that’s the way it is.
  • Well #########. I was doing all the Survivor vials just to get it out of the way.

That being said : Never underestimate Survivor Mains who absolutely REFUSE to play Killer, and will simply buy the cosmetic for Dwight or Claudette after they get their 30 vials on Survivor. $10 isn’t bad, then they don’t have to touch the dirty, nasty, Killers, and why would they care to get the Killer cosmetics, they don’t play Killer.
  • @Tsulan @ZombieGenesis I’ll save you the trouble and tell you he doesn’t play Killer at all. He’s still spewing the same Survivor Bias crap on here as he does/did on the Steam Forums.
  • Seriously? It’s completely fair on both sides.

Killers have a harder time getting their 30 vials, however don’t have to worry about not getting extra BP after they have hit their 30 vials. Survivors have an easier time filling their 30 vials, but in exchange they won’t escape as often because they are busy collecting Nectar. Also, after they get 30 vials they can not get more from flowers, however this means they can go back to Rushing Gens for escapes.

Even then, put the damn offering. The chances of you getting into a lobby with 4 randoms and ALL 4 of them having 30/30 vials is slim to none. If you are whining about “all my friends and are 30/30 cause we SWF”, tough #########. You want the points, solo que, or duo que, don’t ######### that you don’t get to play “farm with friends” every single match that this event is live.

For unlucky people like me the event is the worst. I'm usually the first found even if I try to hide, by the time I can lose the killer or get unhooked the plants are all taken I also have yet to get a "friendly" killer.

Why are you blaming the game because you have ######### luck or are bad at hiding and get found easy?
  • Correct me if I’m wrong, but if you burn the offering, you get 4K BP as Survivor any time someone else fills a 3rd of their vial.

    Is that good enough?
  • Damn that is just painful to read.
Honestly I'm not going to lie I give props to anybody on PS4 Asia who is still playing because if I found out that we still haven't gotten the clown DLC I would have dropped the game.
Same here. That is just insane. PS4 Asia really needs to be compensated for this. Rest of us already got a BP event, but PS4 Asia needs something special just for them. That is absolutely ridiculous.

How are they doing on The Spirit?

Entitlement at it’s finest right here.

Be thankful your vials aren’t tied to your objective. You can get nectar without having to do Gens. Killers have to catch and hook folks on their special hooks to get ANY nectar. If the Killer can’t catch and hook people, he gets nothing. You can still get nectar without having to do Gens.

You don’t have to do your objective to get Nectar, Killers do. I’d love to hear you whine if it was attached to Gens “The Killer is Camping the special Gens!” You know, like the Survivors did with the BBQ event.

In exchange for NOT being able to camp the “special Gens”, you can’t Sabotage Killer’s special Hooks.

What would you rather have? The flowers off to the side, or Killers camping the special Gens?

I've literally never had a single killer camp special gens during the BBQ event. And you don't seem to understand the point at all. Killers have their event condition tied to their normal win condition - Hook. Survivors. Because survivors have an event condition and win condition that are completely separate, the likelihood of survivors reaching their win condition is now less probable due to people tunneling on nectar nodes.

I had plenty camp the event Gens. I understand your point perfectly. You’re just complaining because you want everything to be easy for you. You want to be able to Gen Rush, Get Nectar handed to you, and escape.

    Here’s an easy analogy for you : Cake = Gens/Hooks, Ice Cream = Escape/Kills, Sprinkles = Nectar.

You want your cake (Do Gens), Ice Cream (Escape), and you want both to automatically have Sprinkles on top (Nectar). You don’t want to work for your Sprinkles at all, you just want them handed to you for free.

Killers on the other hand, they don’t get Sprinkles (Nectar) at all if they can’t even get their Cake (Hooks). They can’t get a Ice Cream (Kills) if they don’t get their Cake (Hooks) either.

If the Killer doesn’t get Hooks in first place, he gets absolutely nothing. Survivors can easily get Gens or Nectar, they do have to work for the Escape though.

I can’t believe Survivors are whining, when they can at least get SOMETHING even if they aren’t trying on the Gens. Killers get NOTHING if they don’t get Hooks.
  • @fcc2014
Nope, I haven’t gotten anything like that. Might want to restart your ps4.
  • You must be doing something wrong PinkEricka. I’ve only been playing for 3 hours and I’m already at 9/10 and almost have my 10th. That’s with playing a few Killer matches in between as well. I’m same time zone, same region, also on PS4.

    This was RE7 right?

No, RE7 was a whole new fungal agent. This is the backstory on the origin of the T-Virus, G-Virus, C-Virus, and all subsequent variations such as he T-Abyss Virus, T-Veronica Virus, etc.
  • It's not about paying for DLC or Outfits, because ppl would have been complaining about that since the store came out basicly.

It's about their "biggest event ever" which has no sense of accomplishment or fulfillment by any chance, as you can aquire the same stuff as some1 else by just buying it with real money. The event, a one time occasion, should be a Thank you from the devs, for playing the game. And in rewarding, you get a exclusive outfit(s) for your particular time in those/that patricular week(s).
They shouldve just said like, here is 1 killer skin and 1 survivor skin, this is what you get for playing the event. And all the rest of the outfits shouldve been saved for another time, either beeing bought or earned.

Exactly where do you think those skins would “make sense” to drop them other than the Hallowed Blight event? Secondly, it cost a lot of money to pay the art and design team to make all those skins. Money they need back now, so they can continue to pay the art and design team to make more new skins.

It’s not like they can go to the art and design team and say “Hey, thanks for making those skins. We’ll pay you once they go live later. Please take this promissory IOU till then, and continue to work making more new skins. Then we’ll pay you for the other Hallowed Blight skins.”
  • Oh please, being tunneled is a terrible excuse for ragequitting. Can't take being chased? Why the hell do you even play this game?
Cheating is a valid reason I guess. But I can tell on PC there are hardly any cheating. Mostly it's just immature players accusing others of it, because they themselves can't take a defeat with a bit of dignity.
Maybe cheating is rampant on console, I don't know.

It’s really not. There are very few cheaters and few lag switchers. Many just use it as an excuse for why they lost. Lag is present and so are FPS drops, but actual cheating and lag switching is rare.
  • I don’t even know why you’re leaving. If it’s some salty Survivor reasons then sorry you feel that way, but not really tossing you a fond farewell.

If its for other reasons such such as real life and responsibilities, I wish you well.

  • What Ranks? Anything below 15, and above 5 you’re going to be waiting a long ass time. Not a lot of Killers stay really low because newbie Survivors they can stomp. Then they hit a “brick wall” at Rank 15 or 10 and keep getting stomped by Survivors who know how to Loop and are all packing the meta perks.

That in turn, makes high rank Killer very scarce because they can’t get past the “brick wall” of expert Loopers all packing the meta perks.

Speaking from a lot of experience here, there aren’t enough actually good Killers on PS4. Most are mediocre at best. I’m not the best either, but I’m above par at the least.
  • SC is good, but I don’t run it purely just to make the game harder on myself. Survivor is boring and there isn’t enough actual “danger” for my taste. Bond is objectively better, but SC is really a “must have” as a back up plan. If you’re not using self care, you’re either dumb not to, or just want to make the game more challenging.

I used to hate self care and how it make taking hits completely negligentible, but now with the healing nerf and running Sloppy Butcher on all my Killers... as A Killer I say “Oh please do use Self Care. Enjoy that 40 seconds of time wasted healing while I continue to hunt.” It punishes Survivors who think they are hot ######### body blocking, or who are cocky and think they can just “shrug off” me smacking them upside their heads.

This right here^^^^ is all this thread is.

little question, why put noob3 close to ochido? Honestly I love noob3 since he looks pretty fair on both sides, I'm the one who almost followed truetalent or ardetha for example but doesn't seems like noob3 is one sided. Actually in his videos I can see him even feel bad for how some things are unfair. Im honestly curious no sarcasm, since I haven't seen any bad behavior by him.
(Dont even comment anymore about the thread, did it already an there is no point but that hate on noob3 catchy my interest)
It’s not the balance I’m concerned about when it comes to Noob3. It’s his content. He promotes toxicity, most of all Survivor toxicity. He’s got hundreds of videos on being a toxic Survivor, has hacked the game, showed exploits, made a big thing out of bullying Killers, ect. It’s been a while since I checked up on him, he may have changed his tune after he’s been banned and such. Though even if he has, I’m wary of him. He might just be playing “careful” as to not draw any more ire from the developers, less he be banned again or heardwear banned like OchiDO is from PC.

Though im sure his chat is filled with toxic bias Survivor Mains who would gladly accept he OP’s bullshit, and stroke of each other off about being toxic toward Killers and how Killers are OP and crap.

Im alright with Ardentha myself, but I’m not a huge fan of the way he’s pretty nasty toward Survivors at points. Not very ok with the way he like to stir the Survivor vs. Killer fights either.

Tru3 is good in my book. Hell, in his chat you can’t even type OchiDO. It’s a blacklisted name and the chat settings won’t even let you post about him. As well as they have a command called !bmos which stands for “Bad Mouth Other Streamers”. If you even try, your comment will be deleted by mods. Tru3 gets asked to play toxic Survivor or Killer and he will say no. Debate is fine, but ######### talking one side or the other will get you timed out real fast.

Developers had a brain aneurysm , instead of just adding an open route so killers could jump off they did this .

I think a drop off would have been better too. Or at least adding another staircase if doing the top floor hook. Having only one way in/out of the hook is supposed to be a basement only concept. Takes away from the power of the basement if killers can just guard stairs here instead.

There was almost certainly a vault or a hole at some point in development, the "fence" around the top has at least one spot that looks like it used to be open. The reason there isn't a way to get down other than the stairs currently is that it would make the top of the building extremely safe for survivors. Once you hear the terror radius you can just jump down and run. Most likely would become an extremely cancerous loop spot if you just immediately run up the stairs to the hole again and there are lots of pallets around the house.

If you don't want to get hooked up there then don't go near the house. The path to the hook is long enough that it's not possible to reach the hook unless you are downed inside or right outside the house, unless the killer is using Iron Grasp + Agitation or something.

Oh would you look at that, someone else with a frigging brain in their head.

This is EXACTLY why they didn’t just “open up” a part of the railing. It would quickly become a cancerous Looping spot and notorious safe zone for Survivors.
