DCs are only a problem if you are a non-salt miner; should you ascend past rank and score, you will bath in the salt of the DC.

How can you expect new players to improve if you dont challenge them? I find this matchmaking to be quite good, giving a mix of easy and difficult matches. If you think, in every game the MM is flawed; and those who constantly complain about MM aren't very likely to improve as they are in the mindset that they cant improve versing hard opponents. Not everybody enjoys it, but it is what it is, it also solves the issue of deranking as there is no benefit to doing it now, furthermore it allows low level survivors to get matched with experienced survivors. The killers have a more balanced time too, being placed with mixed rank teams.

My guy, Huntress is still strong on PS4, just she has a higher skill floor since aiming is argubly harder on console. I know a guy who's a monster with Huntress, been playing her for a good while, ended up banning him from playing Huntress in our KYF matches.

How can you make a thread titled "Hatch Mechanic" and say it's not about the hatch? Not to be rude, but are for real right now? That is top tier stupid right there. Then you talk about getting frustrated by not having a 1-hit during bodyblocks, and in your comment you complain about 1-hit? I'm sorry but something doesn't add up here. What you're suggesting is to give killers an easy kill with hatch, not to balance it. Furthermore why would you "elaborate on it later"? why not just tell us now, and I would like you to elaborate as I found this thread quite hard to follow. You don't want survivors to stay around, but you dont want to keep NOED? You want killers to have better endgame, but you make hatch easier to get? I'm sorry, but I find your suggestion to be too complicated, and not fair to either side.

I'm working on an essay at the moment, not full time so it will take a while to complete, but I've just finished covering the core game mechanics such as escaping. I had an idea which would make hatch a more balanced mechanic. I wont copy and paste the whole part, unless you really want me to, but it had to do with chests and finding a key which would be a garunteed spawn at one or two survivors left. That the standard chest amount would be increased from three to five, or possably seven.

NOED is fine imo; people say it rewards the killer for failure which I find rediculous, it punishes survivors for failure, in not cleansing totems. NOED is rather balanced as OP stated. Be happy that it is a totem at all and not pre- Of Mud and Blood.

Haven't got legion yet, but I think my go to build will be along the lines of Thanataphobia, Surveillance, Ruin and Bloodhound.

My personal hag build is Ruin, ToTH, Devour Hope and Dear Stalker. Then Mint Rag add-on and any add-on that increases setting speed.

I use sloppy as a filler perk for when I don't know what to run. Otherwise I would run Thanataphobia over sloppy, it's much better once you get the snowball going. But many people have "swore by the mangled meta" saying it's better than ruin.

Sadly it's hard for good posts to get alot of views since they dont employ flashy or controvertial titles, and so get less views and replys. But perhaps we should start a movement?

I've had this happen to me on the killer end, rarely but, when I see it happen I dont give the survivors a chance (sorry, but I am a killer) but many a times I've been accused of tunneling from spawn as I "spawned infront of them" even though, once you learn the spawn mechanics it is easy to give the illusion of spawning infront of killers.

Having a friend watch, or play the killer you want to try at the same time helps imo. When I started off with Nurse I was scared to play her because how high her skill floor is, but my friend wnted to watch me fail, and it made it easier to play her.

Either you can deal with the loops through perks and mindgames, or just brute force your way through pallets. -

Learn to play nurse, pig or huntress if you don't like loops. easily top three anti-loops in the game, nurse with her blink, huntress with good predictions and pigs ambush all help against loops.

lol, I do the same thing, only with my Last Will add-on. I constantly forget that I have that extra RBT; my saving grace is my near limitless supply of Last Will's.

Perhaps diversion could change sound, so of there's an injured person not on hook, then it will make a healing noise, and otherwise it would be more reminicent of the nearest possable noise notification.
Not sure how hard that would be to implement, but it would be pretty cool if you ask me

But otherwise that crouch is very strong, and is very consistent with gen pulls and her RBT while RNG dependant still is very good at slowing the game down just a little bit and I find she has some of the strongest endgame potential, especially when combined with either Tampered Timer or Last Will.

This would be great, and I know myself would vote for optimisation over new content, however if BHVR have a publisher I can understand why they would push out new content over patches.
