Springwood. Played with a rando who was so bad he did less than nothing. We got down to two people and enough gens were done where I could see that the hatch was in the basement. It became a matter of who the killer could find first, me or ######### rando. Unfortunately, I was found and hooked first. So now it's just rando and he is heading toward the school. I message him on PS4 and say it's by the ambulance. So he detours away from the school and toward the ambulance where he is found and downed. I messaged him that I was lying and it was in the basement. I said next time actually try to be a decent teammate and do other things besides hide for 15 minutes. That's not petty. That is justifiable revenge.

Sometimes when the last two survivors are hanging around in the basement, I open lockers time to time. Then look at them and chuckle as I like to show them that there is no one alive to come to save them.

I can certainly see this being a thing. Would be fun to have custom killers too but I can see why that wouldn't work. I can see this working though. It would be fun honestly, you can be the hero of your own story in a way.

Face Camping and Tunneling are terms made up to describe the huge power imbalance heavily leaning towards Killers.Face Camping and Tunneling are terms that existed for online games eternal. Survivors use it to make killers feel bad. Smart killers end up learning how to ignore these meaningless words.
Killers are left feeling like they shouldn't guard their freshly hooked body because it doesn't allow Survivors a fair chance to perform their rescue role.
For people that have empathy, yes, this is very true. Us psychopaths though, do not see the use of empathy.
- Punishment for Face Camping is other Survivors working on Gens and escaping = De-Pip for Killer
Very true. Moving on.
Killers are left feeling like they shouldn't chase down the Survivor who was just rescued from the hook (Tunneling) because it doesn't allow the Survivor who just escaped a fair chance at resuming their game.
I chase whomever is available. Unless a survivor has been annoying throughout the game, I don't go out of my way to knock someone down again. I need my BBQ tokens.
- Punishment for Tunneling is other Survivors working on Gens and escaping = De-Pip for Killer.
Very true. Moving on.
However, neurologically defective psychopaths physically don't have the part of the brain that creates or has the capacity to understand what empathy is so the only incentive for them not to Tunnel or Face Camp, the only question they must ask themselves:
MMmmmmmmNnnnnnn. Us psychopaths don't care for the fun of others. Survivors shouldn't either.
"is the enjoyment gained by causing misery to Survivors by Face Camping / Tunneling more important than putting pressure on the rest of the Survivors so they don't run gens while Face Camping / Tunneling and power the exit gates to leave causing Killer to De-Pip"
Play the game how you want to play it. If that means you want to give survivors free escapes, then that's you. The other 95% will play killers as it's meant to be played.

I mean if you played the game long enough to face a Myers you'd know what the exposed effect is. It doesn't sound professional nor does it fit the game to just type out "one-hit down" to describe a status effect. Sloppy butcher mentions the mangled effect but it doesn't say anything about slow heals, you just have to learn by playing the game.Adding a list of all status effects and what exactly they do in the tutorial/help section would be pretty neat though.
The weird part is, he claims he plays as "Easy Mode Myers" all the time when he wants a easy game. So I have no idea how he could miss that.
As for you @e8Lattice , the totem (once broken) makes you one down for a minute at most, then is completely useless after. I've had games were that totem was destroyed at rank one and no one was killed. Meanwhile I'm just doing Gens. Sooooo....

@Shad03 @Chaotic_Riddle I like Legions' design a lot. The power was boring meh for me at first, but then I realized the awesomeness of Deep Wounds. I am still an apprentice level killer player (over 500 hours, but not anywhere near 1000). I have been bullied by swfs and skilled survivors before and despite my efforts, they would consistently lurk by me or body block me. Now with Deep Wounds I just shank people and they actually back off. It's a feeling of power that most killers don't enjoy. However I do agree with people to an extent that Legion needs to be changed slightly. However as I said before, the ability to YEET is awesome.

@LCGaster Against a competent group of SWF, they can be hell to play. I've never felt the need to cry from frustration until I've played as them. He's generally fun to play as or against if your me otherwise, however.

Yeah, and the fact they have to make new animations for them, perks that need to work with other killers, a survivor to go along with them, and a new map. The killer would whip his/her/its tail on pallets twice to break them.

I don't know, Frank's Mixtape sounds like an Ultra-Rare now, mostly because he'd be the only other Killer with an infinite power add-on. I'm guessing the out of TR is for those Legions to moonwalk but for those that don't moonwalk it wouldn't be fair because the DW wouldn't be a threat. Making Legion a 115 would take away the dependency on the power to attack people and I think that's a great idea, you can chain attacks when needed and use the FF mostly to travel and the DW aspect would be only to distract Survivors. I think this is all Legion needs really.-Cough- Tuff of Hair -cough-
We could replaced the effect of Fuming Mixtape with the proposed effect while Frank's could have a different effect all together?

I would also venture to say that the Entity probably doesn't always keep them stuck in his universe so who is to say that the entity doesn't just borrow them for a while to kill for it. so needless to say "FREE THE PINHEAD" and bring him to DBD Devs!
The killers are trapped in the Entity's realm. Myers, Laurie, Freddy, Quinten, Bubba. All trapped in the realm. Pinhead would not be able to escape.
@RabidWabbitz said:
But all of the characters have been brought in and their stories obviously changed to fit ever so slightly to fit the theme and the same could happen with Pinhead.
Their stories weren't changed. Bill was left behind before he woke up on a generator. Amanda and Tapp were sent towards the Fog once they were killed in their canon movies, Freddy and Quentin were going through their movie ending. Poor Nancy is wondering where Freddy and Quentin are.
When a character is taken, it's around the same time as their canon movies. How they arrive is different, but they're still taken nonetheless.
So you know for a fact that they are stuck in the realm with no ifs ands or butts huh? Also I meant their stories where adjusted to fit of how they went and are in the entity’s realm.
Yes I know this for a fact. By your logic, Amanda, Bubba, and whomever else could return to their respective universes when they are not in use in the Entity's realm.
In a way I'll have to agree with you. However there is still the matter of Amanda dying in her Movie as well as that fact being mentioned in her Bio. I haven't read Myer's bio in a while so that might prove me wrong.
So to reiterate, there is no chance for any of the licensed to return back to their canon realities without the devs creating a ending where everyone is eventually returned. Until then, they are stuck.

Answer is very simple. If it was 1/1 game killers would have slightly stronger perks. But it is 4/1, survivors are overpowered and will stay this way bcoz we need more survivors than killers. No, you need both survivors and killers. Without one you cannot have the other. Yes survivors are four people, but you cannot play survivor without a killer. And you cannot play killer without survivors. If you drive away the survivors, killers have no one. You drive the killers away, survivors can't have anyone either. Muse on that before making that last statement.

And you can also take advantage of them not seeing scratch marks while in Frenzy. Again, quite hard sometimes, but that's why it's so rewarding.
I only find Frank's Tape a little too much. Otherwise, all those complaints and DC-s are just because people like it easy.
Yeah I agree 100% it's easy to lose them in feral if theres windows or corners. You know how many times I see people quit when they get hooked once or it's a omega blink nurse. Survivors DCing isnt new. Instead of blaming the killer, blame the people who leave because they cant handle the game they're playing
This.

If I were to own BVHR, I would take out perk tiers to simplify the work it takes when making perks. Once that is done, we can have each perk change rarities depending on how strong the effects are. Basically all perks would be purple, but some stronger ones would be red, while like ten would be brown.
(All perks look tiers, and now have rarities ranging for common to ultra rare. However each perk would be as if it had it's tier three effect. Hopefully removing tier salt and grind.)
Due to having less to work with now, the programmers could work on bug fixes. Meaning more people would play, meaning more profit. Ideally.
(Ideally having less to worry about the perk tiers and effects, the extra time could be worked into bug fixes. This would probably cause people to recommend the game to friends and family.)
-
@Jacoby2041 said:
The thing is, the survivors get 16 perks altogether and the killer only gets 4. That leaves a lot of perk coverage for survivors but the killer only has 25% of the perk coverage to try to counter the survivors' perks.@ShyN3ko
Thats true.
But as Solo Survivor this is only half true.
In my opinion the perk system need a little rework.Single tier, put the time and effort into something else. Like bug fixes. That sound alright? Sure it's 16 perks against 4, but a perk system rework could fix the issues by fixing bugs to make things fair.

NOED needs to be balanced around new players and solo survivors but without removing it's potency. I think having visual notice of how many totems are left would be useful. And honestly, put it back to when only tier 3 gave Exposed. Yes it made tier 1 and 2 useless but it also limited the amount of weak low rank killers you'd face with it, in ranks where survivors realistically don't have the skill to deal with it.That's the only thing that NOED needs honestly.
Up there with the generator information, if survivors know how many totems are left on the map, they can choose to pop up the generator and risk everything or try to find and cleanse all of the totems.
Honestly, it would be a huge buff for killers who don't use NOED as well. Survivors would try to find and cleanse the last totem for a non existent perk.
Better safe then sorry is my model. As much grief as I saved some of my team by cleansing totems, I've also had to learn the hard way to cleanse totems. There was many a time where I was opening a gate, and then the killer yeets over a window and proceeded to hit me to the dying state.
But yes, a totem counter would be a fine thing for survivors. And for killers too.

I don't have empathy. I haven't leveled up Claudette :sarcastic:
In all seriousness though, I have little empathy for survivors unless I am playing as one myself. I expect my killer to be as ruthless as possible and I want to fear for my life. That's how I have fun, and as a killer I want to put fear in my prey. Everyone has a different way of playing, your way seems to be castrating yourself by worrying if another player has fun or not.
Well, that depends on the meal the devs have set themselves with.
