lol.
Tinkerer.
Leatherface. -
Wouldn't make the perk viable for solo.
Would make a nice trolling perk for SWF with Salty Lips & Up the Ante stacks with Slippery Meat.I'm not too fond of this idea.
-
Mostly Laurie, because they're usually paired with DS/Object of Obsession.

Freddy should fully get reworked.
The current form he has is just what everyone hates, aka looping, sandbagging, non-stealth and frustrating tunneling.Freddy can be fun, if he´s played the way the devs envisioned him. Sadly they didn´t stick to that plan.
If waking up wouldn´t be so easy, he would make a really good hit and run killer. Devs should balance this.
When i play him, i tag everyone i see, chase them, hit them, then go for someone else nearby. That confuses survivors, since they are used to being tunneled by him. Once they start healing, i go back and finish them.LF can also be fun, the fact that half of them are just insidious camping/face camping with revved chainsaw, however...

I call this a bait."LOL LOOPING IS PART OF THE GAME, WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ??!!??!!"
Is the oldest bait in the bucket. -
The main issue with the exhaustion nerf is that it won't adress Sprint Burst, at all.
-
SWF ain't going.
Devs clearly stated it, and they won't make separate queues either. -

The buff to predator makes it a red carpet, if stealth is buffed anti stealth perks will be more viable.

Orange Claudettes.
I've never seen a single non-toxic Orange Claudette ever.
The day one of them won't try to teabag me, I'll consider. -
I just usually run :
Balanced Landing, Self-care, Small game and either WGLF or Stake out. -

Since survivor mains still complain about being face camped.
It seems the removal of face camping back in October hasn´t done much in the eyes of survivors. So why not bring it back?Or can we get at least a Educational video, where you show what the differences in camping are. Because people still use expressions like "long distance face camper" for killers which dare to look into the direction of the hook from a distance of 40+ meters.
Whatever you do, you'll always be a "camper" for most survivors since you're still on the map by the time they escape anyway.
It's a pretty common thing to say, but whatever you do and they do, even if all of them show up around the hook, they'll still expect you to run away from it brainlessly like if you were an AI.That being said, there's quite a few "free camping" going on nowadays, even if it's not justified, which is pretty boring. Atm you'd better not being caught first in the current meta lol.

Yes. It needs a nerf. Because it's unfun, spew toxicity, and unbalanced.

Stop being so negative. -

There are so many cases reported where killers will dodge a lobby when they see items (no matter what kind of items really)
or even bloody clothing. And that's the best case scenario. Worst case scenario they will DC at the begining of the match
and you will lose everything you brought with you.I don't understand why it's ok for the killer to Bring Mories/Tombstones and stuff like that while the won't accept any items from survivors.
Now survivors started 6-second swapping and it's a bloody war out there. Killer Mains vs Survivor Mains. Just remove this stupid feature please. It only promotes fightingI've even been forced to not use my Auric Cell items that I just bought because WAY too many killers Dodge me and it takes 3-4 Lobbies until I get a game. I'm just stuck with my Green shirt and the default pants with Claudette for now.
That's sillyKillers should also not have to deal with people using voicecoms.
But hey, you don't always get what you want, right ? -

Just add an option to let us killers opt out of SWF.
SWF ain't cheating, whatever people say. Devs stated it several times, just gotta deal with it.
-
They just need to nerf SB, and exhaustion perks would be fine.
-
How to counter DS : Hope devs realise this stuff is neither fun or balanced and manage to get a proper rework for it.
-
You should also get more BP for being on a hook, as well as double pip if you get fully camped.
And escape points since dying is sort of an escape (even tho it's not)
Fair stuff. -
Sounds like a weird justification to Teabag with Meg!

Just thinking, would M&A be good on Clown? You could get closer to them, and maybe be able to hit them with a surprise Afterpice Tonic. That would really hit the Sprint Burst meta hard if you could hit them with the Tonic before they take off.Meh, 32 meters radius base and he's still fairly visible.
You'd better either run perks to improve his chasing abilities, or to slow down gens. -
Blindness is kinda becoming more and more obsolete anyway, since they're trying to put solo players to the level of SWF players in term of vision.
Just forget about it and play like it doesn't exist tbh.

Yeah. It's actually gonna be harder now, and you'll have to take some risks getting closer to the killer rather than staying in a safe zone. It's kinda legit considering the efforts you have to make to actually catch a survivor in this game. And by closer you mean 2m away from a killer ? Because if you stay further than that you won't get the timing

There is a difference between making effort and taking skill and between "broken". If you are blinded by your role that you can't see it, fine by me. We both know no killer with slight experience will get blinded with that animation speed.
And yeah, the animation is the way to get the blind. Have you ever been blinded while moving ? Because i might have to question your skills then.
2 meters ? It used to be a 4,3s animation. PTB is 3s. It's not a HUGE change. You're just exagerating, it's not like they made it to be 1s.
It's just a consequence of the fact that pallet stuns are more easily done now, since people tend to get caught directly under pallets way more since the vacuum removal, leading to unjustified rescue for a survivor that actually failed.A well deserved buff.
33% reduction is exaggerating ? ^^ if you say so..
As for pallet saves, shouldn't it be a reward for good team play ? I can't count how many times i went down at a pallet and no teammate was nearby or they suck with the timing, now it's you who is exaggerating. Not to mention the clunky pallets now when am right infront of it and i don't have a prompt to drop it, it's not as easy as you describe or you are just a god survivor. Or perhaps you mean against swf with voice comms who shout in the mic "HEY AM AT A PALLET" , yeah this will probably be a meta soon.
Good teamplay ? You just "failed" a pallet and can eventually escape out of that, mostly because the killer cannot do much about a piece of wood being there and you consider it leggit ? very discutable.
The pallets, also, aren't clunky, you need to be slightly under them to drop them. If the killer blocks it, you just cannot. It's just planned mecanics. -
I don't understand it too.
I believe they want to rework the lategame in a later stage of the game, and this change is preparing it.
Not sure what it will be tho. -

My point is that some maps are not designed for certain killers (Michael....the Farm , hillbilly and leather face ... kindergarten and hospital, nurse and trapper...the SAW complex, huntress...clown map, etc ,etc ,etc) and also some perks are not great at certain maps , so why don^t let the HOST(killer) choose the map gud for his killer and not suffer from the randomness?
PS. I main billy and huntress and i can state that playing as billy in hospital is torture and there are some maps where I can strait see every gen that leads to ez huntress wins. You wanna play Doc/Nurse in The Game all day ? Because that's what's gonna happen lol.
-
If you increase generator time, you empathize camping too much, sadly.
The way to do it correctly would be to force survivors to unlock a few gens on the map by doing certain actions, which would unlock gens and eventually juking spots, while making the "base" generators to be in a rather unsafe spots. It would actually make camping killer not to be efficient still, since they cannot pressure the map properly, while making non-camping killer to be rewarded for not camping since they could prevent repairs consistently and force survivors to unlock juking spots/more gens/juking spots.

An idea seemingly dismissed, especially since it would make sabotage even more useless.
-
Mostly changing some map setups when it comes to overly strong vault that can be abused for more than 2mins just by running in circles around them.
Coal tower is a great example with Wretched Shop. People can just make your run around for 1 full minute, then, just throw a safe pallet afterwards once you stacked enough bloodlust to be dangerous, and start over as the window eventually unlock. It gets quickly boring and is both not interesting nor skilled. These "old infinites" (that aren't infinite anymore since the killer will eventually catch up, especially with Bloodlust) would still require a few tweaks, because paired with SB and DS, you can basically waste 3-4mins of a killer's time just running in circles around Coal Tower with 0 risks whatsoever since there is a huge lack of mindgames, which leave the killer only 2 choices : either keep going and waste several minutes, or drop and let the survivor to eventually heal on the spot due to self-care.

I think it would be rather bland tbh.
Would make Doctor rounds insanely annoying if he manages to hook 4 persons, especially with Unnerving presence. I consider Doc to be annoying enough in the current state.
Tho, the perk being a hex is indeed too weak, since you cannot consistently hook AND protect your totem. (except if you camp a hooked person next to your totem, which is both boring and unnefficient for everyone)A hooked guy next to a totem is VERY efficient for the killer, no idea what you are talking about lol
Not for Lullaby, since you let everyone know where it's at, while not getting multiple stacks.
It's eventually efficient with Ruin if people cannot hit greats, I'll give you that. -
@Master said:
Lullaby would be so nice if it wasnt a totem. Oh, and I never understood why devs tell the survivor that there is a lullaby affecting them, even if it hasnt even activated yet..... Ive lost so many lullabys before my first hook that I dont even bother using it anymoreBecause it increases the generator regression if they miss the skillcheck, so they're under the effect of the Lullaby even without the skillcheck part.

I hate the fixed view. The number 1 reason i often lose survivors, at least when its a stage with tall grass where those scratchmarks are really non-existent. its when you do things, like break pallets, and your face is just fixed on the Pallet.
i mean why on gods green earth, would the killer and MY view, be FIXED on that pallet while i break it? i dont have a god damn chance to see where the survivors are running. why cant it just look a bit more upwards? on outdoor stages the scratch marks are hard to see, so i waste precious time running in small circles trying to decipher which way the survivor went, simply because i couldnt see that with my own eyes.
if Fixed view is to remain a thing, as it probably is for the killer, can it at least be more upwards when i break pallets so i at least have a chance to see where the survivors runs?
the same thing applies when you jump out of windows that are on the second floor. sure it makes sense that you look straight ahead going out on a window on the ground level, but when its the second floor and i have to jump down from something, i cant see where the survivors are going because apparently, killers jump out of windows not looking down, but looking straight ahead in to the trees.
WHY would i want to look at a bunch of [BAD WORD] trees? i DONT.
please look down when going out on the second floor, and please look more upwards when breaking pallets. maybe i would spend just a tiny bit less time chasing people with this, because i would spend less time trying to figure out where the hell they even went.
Thank you.
The whole point of looking down while breaking pallets and vaulting is to allow the survivor to break line of sight, obviously.
If you consistently lose your targets, I suggest you to try tracking perks until you get used to it, because it's actually sorta hard to lose a survivor once you're used to chases, as killer. That line of sight breaking IS necessary tho, for the sake of mindgames and being able to stealth the killer to some extent, and lose him.

@RuniverDo you think brutal strength being 50% would be fair or balanced in any way shape or form?
50% would be broken, especially on clown. It would make any pallet a deathtrap since you couldn't create any distance.
I use BS on half of my killers already, and I don't consider that perk to necessarily need a buff. It does its job, that is reducing the distance the survivor can create, as well as making it easier to keep eyes contact on a survivor.
10% more would probably not make it broken, but I doubt it's necessary.
Pallets are one of the only things that allow the survivor to break vision of the killer, and it's necessary for them to be able to do so consistently. -
"8 lagswitchers in a row"
Aka "I got a tiny bit of lag when he did hit me, LAGSWITCH! TOTALLY NOT MISJUDGED THAT PALLET/LUNGE RIGHT ?"
Yeah. -
I don't see how that's a trouble. Kicking a gen knowing someone is around is just stupid and a waste of time. The whole point of kicking gen is pushing people away from the gen and get actual regression/baiting away back in for the tap to get them, usually.
Expecting instant reward is kinda meh.

you do something about SWF instead of nerfing solo survivor players?
All those survivor nerfs and killer buffs will be almost useless agains the good old 4 man swf group and then what, you'll increase the generator repair time x2 to fix the "gen rush"?
Jesus christ...Nerfing solo survivors ?
In case you didn't notice, they're actually changing the game to close the gap between Solo and SWF by mostly boosting the solo survivor's intel. Just read the patchnotes. -
You do not pip easily by camping heavily.
Killing is only one category. There's 4.This is the exact same issue than "I escaped and didn't pip" for survivors. Just read more about the emblem system.
-
I just tryhard as soon as I play rank 1.
Usually on Hag/Billy. If people complain, I just suggest them to rank down. -
Lightborn. Mostly because it gives you free hits before people realize you have it, while franklin's can get you to get flashed very consistently still, especially while grabbing people.
It's pretty nice to waste survivor's time by forcing them to grab back their flashlight tho, but it's nothing huge. -
@whyareyoutunnelingme said:
Been a survivor main since the start, but I'm just starting to play killer. One thing I learned as a survivor is how difficult it can be to counter a killer using the 3 gen strat at the end. Especially on maps like Pale Rose, where you can have the last 3 literally beside each other.
As a new killer, is this a viable strategy? Keep my presence around a select few generators and set up for an intense end game?
I can confirm that as a survivor main facing this it can be infuriatingly difficult to finish that last gen. Is it considered toxic to use this strategy? Or is it just not worth it at all to put most of the heat on your end game and just try to keep as few generators from getting powered as possible? TIAIt's a pretty good strategy.
As a survivor, however, you're supposed to try to stop that before reaching that situation, which isn't too hard usually since that, as long as you're 4 survivors, it's very hard for a killer to keep all of them in check. -
Yeah, because looking into lockers every 15s is so damn fun, right ?
We'll get survivors to have to look into lockers everytime they want to use sprint burst, see how fun it makes the game for you. -
China Called. They want their wall back.
-
The usual meta :
Sprint Burst, Self-care, Decisive Strike, Iron Will/Adrenaline/Unbreakable.
Not much to explain about that one. It's just the strongest perk in the game in the same build. Some other builds that work very well :
Lithe, Dance with Me, Quick and Quiet, Self-care
A really strong build to lose killers in a chase. The lack of scratchmarks + Sounds + faster movement is really huge.My usualy build :
Balanced Landing, Self-care, Small Game, X (Iron Will/WGLF/Stake Out)
I just like to have totem/trap detectors, mostly to be able to clear them as quickly as possibly not to get "cheesed" by a ruin totem lasting the whole round, or to be able to eliminate NOED, or Devour Hope. -
Winning is having fun in a round.
As simple as that.
