The terror radius is already non-directional. Tho you probably mean "not to increase/decrease depending on the killer's distance".
Could be annoying to have a TR going full blast to nothing in a matter of 0,1s, repeatedly. -
A pretty good idea indeed.

So I've been using We'll Make It consistently in my build throughout the x2 BP event. From what I've seen it has become the superior Borrowed Time that not a lot of Killers can stop in time (Even Nurses couldn't get to me in time).I'm making this post to ask one question - Is it Balanced or Broken? From experience, it seems to be an incredibly powerful save perk that makes any basic ######### Killer's day more hell than it already is. Especially if they go against the idea of camping. I'll keep saying, that as long as it remains in its current state, every player should run it
But is it fair for the Killer?
When a Killer faces Borrowed Time they simply just have to keep chasing until the person falls, simple as. But when a Killer without 1-shot potential faces We'll Make It on an average survivor who knows how to loop, then they can be ran for a long time more.
So, is it?
And, for the killers, how do you feel when they come straight off the hook to be insta healed?
Would you camp more if it became a meta perk?As a killer main, I think We'll make it is rather balanced and a pretty nice addition to the game.
-
As stated 300 times a day on every dbd forums :
This system has been tested already and heavily abused by survivors.
Also, you're not supposed to be able to save a hooked survivor if the killer is around. You CANNOT and SHOULDN'T be able to force it out. -
I stated this several times but :
I'd like the exact opposite. In the lore, you do not "sacrifice yourself for others".
The cleanser should actually receive buffs, while the non-cleansers should actually receive debuffs.Example :
Hex Ruin.
If you cleanse the totem, you receive a 30% bonus speed in repairs.
Other survivors receive a 10% malus. It would make people to actively look for it all together, eventually fight to get the totem, and then, force to break it without getting caught afterwards by the killer or you would actually give a free debuff for your team without having the bonus.
-
+1, would be nice not to have to turn around 3-4 times to find where my damn totem is each early game.

I don’t think it is good to give this particular information to a Killer once they pick up a Survivor with this perk.
As a Killer it only makes me want to check around a corner for any hidden hooks. (Usually there are). Most notifications in the game shouldn't be shown. I'm not even sure the HUD should be a thing in the first place.
-
@CookieBaws said:
Tokens mai boy, tokens.- Reduce destruction across all levels to 10/13/15%
- For each hook you score 1 token, and you can store up yo 2/3/4 tokens.
Point: to remove crazy gen search just to make use of perk..
Has been suggested. Probably not happening before ages.
This perk is just like any other killer perks, overall : good in theory, too situational to have some actual uses in most cases. Basically the guideline for these devs when they create a killer perk : make sure it has enough conditions to make it weak. -
@Marduk said:
cant stress this enough. if he's nearby you, you are done! he just need to search a little bit around and he'll find you. fight against 3 times and every time the killer get's me. Used 2 times and i do the same! i just need to search around me cause i know FOR SURE one survivor is just around meStand in the middle area of a map, slightly over the edge = Whisper nightmare.
Just don't hide at the edge of a map or you're gonna be found easily.
The point is to make whispers to trigger on a huge area of the map, not simply in a specific corner, which forces the killer to look over an overly large area.
It's not that complicated. Also, it's very easy to find new survivors, because they usually always hide in the same places. So if the killer already caught you in the round and noticed you're not that great of a survivor, he'll very likely know where to find you if you're on of the last survivor alive and trying to hide, because newcomers nearly always hide in the same spots.
The actual best hiding spots are in the middle of the map. Just use an obstacle to let the killer get in the corner, and hide midway toward the middle and the killer won't find you whatsoever as long as you play it right, in 90% of cases. -
You forgot the good old "F13 is gonna kill DBD!"
-
Because they allow the survivors to be the power role of the game, which made them cocky over the time.
Worst case, when the game doesn't go their way, they just blame it on the killer rather than reflect on their mistakes, like most people do.They mostly want the round to go THEIR way. You can clearly see it when a SWF tries to force a save against a camper killer. They just run in the open in his face, taunt and troll, do not even try to hide and such, and still expect the killer to move, follow one of them that will sprint burst to the nearbiest looping spot so their teammate can freely save. In that case, either you follow, let them free save, and get called a noob, or you don't, just stay at the hook (which you should), and get insulted.
You just cannot be "right" with these people as long as you try to win, as killer. -
@brokedownpalace I think you missed the several times where I stated it's NOT a bug.
The low TR features have been buffed due to the fact the terror radius sound increase are now progressive, rather than instantaneous. Which means that by the time you hear the music, the killer will have traveled some distance, so if he's walking straight toward you with a very low TR, you may not be warned before the killer is already 5-10 meters away. It's due to the pig's patch, where they introduced the fact that the terror radius can "progressively change", due to the ambush mecanics, so the heartbeat doesn't "instantly shut down" as you crouch as Pig, to leave more rooms for mindgames and be able to make people think you got away.
That being said, it is arguably "too strong" on stealth killer. Imo, it's a decent feature forcing more awareness overall, and making limited vision gens an actual risk against stealth killers.
-
The only way would have been to try to eventually slug.
But there's pretty much nothing you can do against this. If you pick up, you're wrong. If you don't, you're also wrong and usually waste too much time to be viable. The solution would have been to find a wall to stare, but in most coldwind map, you cannot, and even so, DS would have done the job and waste too much time and allow people to run in the cornfield.
Not to mention SB makes everything overly safe against a chainsaw, and pushes the chase time by too much to make slugging attempts viable, for the most part. -
marth88 was cool.
Koorichi is a fine one too.
Tru3talent was chill and is a very nice guy, pleasant to watch as you start the game, pretty boring once you're experienced tho since his plays are rather basic (unless he changed ? didn't see him play in a while) -
For.. What use exactly ?
I just don't get the point except if you really value a killer "extra step" as a "viable time waste" mecanically speaking. -
What would be the point of moving since, well, he just downed you anyway, in front of him ?
-
Someone wanna crawl under the pallet to cheese a save, I can smell it!

Doesn't change the fact that the perk will still be a mandatory pick after that nerf, and suggesting more changes is an idea. That's why this change will be tested on PTB, and that's why we're giving feedback about what we think in here. The reason I responded is because you stated that in your opinion something should be changed into something thats already shown in the youtube video and now you say you are aware of that video. Makes no sense typing what you said then. Could have just said that a specific change is coming instead imo.
First : The change I stated isn't related to the change in the youtube video. I want an efficiency DECREASE (slower and slower healing) as you keep using the perk. Which is different to what they say (basically, they want to RESET the healing progression if you stop healing)
Second : These are PTB changes, nothing going live is promised. -

The game isn't heading toward solo plays. They're actually trying to close the gap between SWF and non-SWF, which is why they added so many notifications, will soon make the obsession to be visible by everyone, and such.
The only case I agree for SC to be necessary is against Nurse, because if you pack up against her, she'll just slug everyone in a matter of seconds. Other than that ? Pallets and obstacles are enough of a time waster for people to actually spread out efficiently.
What SC needs, in my opinion, is an efficiency decrease everytime it's triggered with an eventual recovery of that efficiency over the time.
Basically : everytime you stop self-caring, the efficiency decreases by 5-10%.
This way, if you actually try to heal in a killer's face and interrupt it to run away, or get actually interrupted because you picked an unsafe spot (or a pallet/vault spot to do so), you get punished for it.It would basically force SC players to hide in PROPER SPOTS to self-care, rather than stand at juking spots, because the killer could just come back and interrupt the healing repeatedly, until you could barely heal yourself anymore if you try to do so.
Basically : No more "I vault the window and SC behind it to force the chase", "I self-care in plain view from afar to bait the killer and just sprint burst away as he comes" and such. It would heavily reduce the cockiness of survivors and make self-care to be actually time consuming, eventually risky, and it would also make Coulrophobia an actual option against SC.Even with that nerf tho, it would probably still be the most picked perk in the game anyway.
Self care will be nerfed that when you heal yourself without a kit and stop you lose the complete progression. Look at the official youtube channel once in a while and you wouldnt need to write this wall of text.

First of all, lithe should work every time you FAST- Vault a window, not when the killer is chasing you(Please change that cause sometimes the chase ends but the killer doesnt lose you, and you want to sprint away but lithe doesnt work). Second, why is balanced landing a rare perk and it reduces the landing cooldown, and lithe is a very rare and doesnt do anything but give u a sprint burst? Can you change it so that it makes your vaults faster atlaest by 10%-15%?Sprint Burst was always and still is the best exhaustion perk. 90% of players use it and 10% use other exhaustion perks. The upcoming nerf is going to make all other exhaustion perks useless if the killers run some exhaustion addon, but not print burst. Here is a way to make it more balanced: instead of giving a speed buff for 3 seconds, it only gives it for 2 seconds.
This way the other exhaustion perks would be also good. Sprint gives you an instant speed buff, but only for 2 sec. Balanced Landing and Lithe give you 3 sec speed buff but you have to do something in order to activate them.ALSOOOOOOOO, PlEASE ADD SOMETHING TO JUMP OFF IN SHELTER WOODS IN ORDER FOR BALANCED LADNING TO WORK. RIGHT NOW THE ONLY OPTION IS THE BASEMENT STAIRS ON THAT MAP.
I agree with the fast vault for lithe part.
I don't think Lithe deserves a buff tho. Balanced Landing has a buff because it's way more situational than Lithe, since drops are way more rare than vaults in general. And yes, the exhaustion nerf is stupid, and doesn't adress SB issues.
P.S.: You can actually use the tree in the middle, in shelterwoods, to trigger BL. It's hard to manage tho
I'm a BL user lol. -

I think I disagree with pretty much everything except for Nurse being S tier, Doctor being A tier and Wraith being D tier.
I won't got in-depth tho, since it would take way too much efforts and will end up (as always) on a debate on Hag which is usually pointless. -

WRAITH has nothing in chases. Hag is really good at chasing.I play Wraith better than Hag, with 12m Wall Hack you find survivor in no time and you'll never lose them in a chase. Hag is only good if survivors are willing to save, then you slaughter them with Make your choice, if survivors don't save and focused on rushing gens more often than not Hag will lose the game. Her rare addons is still bad and trash compared to Wraith
Her chase is only good if survivors steps on the traps, and if they bring flash-lights / Urban she is at a disadvantage compared to other killers
Very debatable once again, but I don't feel like repeating myself, since trying to make people understand that Hag is actually strong is pointless anyway.

Easy for Killer to pip.
Killer queues end up taking forever.
You don't think this was a problem?
"Hard for survivor to pip" is very debatable. It was very doable, and even myself, a very average surv, easily got to rank 1. People just refused to adapt/learn how emblems worked very likely, while still cared about pipping.
Also, pipping as killer wasn't that easy.
Killer queues were the main issue. I guess most survivors are just too terrible at the game and "deserve" to have a easy way through.

I'm actually aware of that, which is why she won't get more popular. She'll just get stronger for experienced players playing her. Most people just find her boring, and the slight boost on her base kit (aka 8 extra meters on teleport and improved trapping speed) won't make her a popular choice still imo.

In a scenario where you're 2 :
1 working on a gen (100% efficiency)
Yourself, self-caring (50% efficiency)You're actually working at 150% efficiency
without SC :
You force someone out of a gen, bother him, put him as a risk by packing up, be unable to properly hide to get healed and such, and only make the efficiency to 100%.SC also just forces the killers to keep chasing a target or it'll heal on the spot with 0 risks whatsoever, rather than having to wander aroudn, wounded, and find someone to get healed, and get in the above scenario

Unlike your other things, I can’t argue back. This is both true and really sad.
Most perks aren't even that hard to buff in the first place anyway.
My guess is they're just scared to make it too "hard" for newcomers (Maybe the main issue comes from the fact that FULLY P3 PERKED PEOPLE with PAID content plays against them tho ?) to understand what is happening. Boosting the range of hook hiding (or even making it rather infinite, which would force killers to pay attention to hook placement around) wouldn't be that grevious, and a slight buff on the wiggling strength would be good to have, amongst other stuff. -

SC is meta since release!
84% pickrate, do I need to say more?
Self sufficient, unlimited self heals in a "horror survival" game?
SC does basically counter Freddy.
SC encourages hardcore tunneling, because survivor say "don't lose the injured and SC is no problem".
SC is the core thing behind gen rush, because spreading out and working self reliant is key to it.
SC is a force multiplier to DS and SB.
The nerf isn't even addressing the main issues about SC; unlimited and self sufficient.
SC got (baby)"nerfed" like 4 times and is still the most used perk.
Any killer perk with a similar pickrate would already have been gutted month ago.
Even the Devs admit that they do not dare to really balance SC, because they actually FEAR the survivor outcry.^ This guy summed it up nicely.
No perk should be that versatile. It just gives a so much power that it makes it a rather "mandatory" perk to be competitively efficient. Any "Power" perk shouldn't exist anyway. Perks should fit playstyles and strategies, not be picked "because it's the strongest choice" -

Unpopular opinion ahead:
I think every killer can be effective. Even at high ranks. Different killers allow different tactics. But since most casual players will only use what popular streamers use, they won't find out.The problem with Hag and Trapper is, their traps can be nullified by a SWF team or someone who shadows the killer and disables the traps.
M&A seems to be bugged right now. I noticed some very inconsistent terror radius when facing killers that used it. One second you have no heartbeat. Then you have loud heartbeat + music like he's standing right next to you, then silence again.
M&A isn't bugged.
They introduced "progressive" terror radius sound with the Pig/insidious patch.
So, as a killer, if you quickly walk toward your target directly, the "terror radius music" won't come out before the killer is actually REALLY close already due to that.
That's also why perks such as Unnerving presence makes you very easy to spot, and why Stake out is pretty decent in that meta because it tells you when you're in the radius as soon as you're actually in.Just equip stake out, I tried it out for a week. You'll notice it starts charging before you even hear the TR, and stops charging before the TR stops.

You usually trap Juking spots, not gens. As Hag, you want to teleport during CHases to get free hits. People using UE out of chases actually help you not to trigger the trap and letting them for when they're useful : when someone runs into it while chased.
UE can eventually help someone to unhook faster, eventually, and get away from the hook faster. Will still be a 16 meters terror radius with a (soon to come) 40 meters range to teleport, doubled by a possible MYC, which can be decently hard to deal with.
yeah I should have worded it better, I actually meant that Urban Evasion is powerful when you are trying to rescue a hooked person, my bad.
It helps for the unhooking part, it's not quite a hardcounter tho. It's helpful, just as it should be, similarly to BT when playing against other killers, basically, or we'll make it, that are pretty decent options against her/any killer really.
