Would cause a lot of trouble, mostly caused by people running repeatedly into corners of the maps where they cannot be hooked, which is a cheese and unwanted.
-
I don't see many problems in here.
The first video is just fine. It's not like you're supposed to consistently dodge hits at close range. You're supposed to stop the killer from reaching close range. It's not a dodging game. The second video is just a latency + quick vaulting mecanic. It's not actually an hitbox issue, atl east in my eyes.

You're just so damn good, wow.

BL3 is a cheese to be able to ignore pallets and obstacles and just run through the map and allow yourself to get a free hit. You can basically refuse to break a pallet, circle the same one until you get BL3 and get your hit, which isn't quite fine. They're just better off fixing maps rather than allowing these kind of cheeses. Its not even a really effective cheese since it takes 45 seconds to get to tier 3 bloodlust and is all lost upon a successful hit and then subsequently takes another 45 seconds to build it back up for the next hit. At that point if a killer was cheesing me with bloodlust and it took them a minute and a half to down me just by exploiting that mechanic i say thats a pretty big win. i agree with what you are saying though. I will take map balance over bloodlust any day of the week.
It's still a cheese that allows you to focus down a surv with nothing he can do about it, no matter how skilled he is.

Nea is already a killer. Don't make her darker.
making her darker would make the game actually scary, and you don't want that! -

And I'm usually right about it. I've never seen a smart meg in my 1500 hours playtime. How dare say that?
There are a lot of dumbass Meg players honestly. If you see Meg in the black jersey or the pink hoodie expect them to be trash.
I’m pretty decent with Meg (obviously she is my main). I gotta switch her out sometimes for that sweet wall hugging Claudette in a green shirt and brown leggings 😂

Your usual Meg. -
Nurse for obvious reasons.

Yet I reached rank 1 with her in less than 3 days after starting playing her. (Then I stopped her because looking at your feet is boring, and it feels like simply cheesing survivors when you play her, honestly.)I’ve never liked you and I like you even less now.
wow thats harsh
I don't mind, I'm not here to be liked by my "kins".
About OP, I'm sorry but... Rank 10 is far from a great accomplishment unless you barely play the game and get deranked. Especially when playing the absolute god-tier of the game. -

I seem to find that when I load into a match (being rank 5) that there are A LOT of bullying survivors.. either body block me or will body block me then drop a pallet then flashlight stun me.. I am just trying to figure out a way to keep calm and not lose mt temper with them.. I am a Huntress mainDon't hesitate to camp more.
Huntress is the best camper in the game. Exploit it. -
Freddy will get a buff soundTM.
Not sure why you post your pc specs tho. -

One word :
ePenis. -
Just get to the hatch, it's free.
Repair a gen, force the killer to come around where you repair, if he does, get hit and free propel to the hatch. If you don't, just keep repairing until he does.It doesn't require an advanced strategy, it's just braindead easy.
-
A lot of players just stay at the gates to make sure their friends is ok, to waste more of your time in case their teammates would need that time to escape, and to get more points.
Just push them out. If you truly want to punish this, just remember the name and get a mori for the next rounds against them.
Personally, I consider every survivor to be a potential offender, which makes my rounds way more merciless in general, and usually happen to avoid that kind of behavior because you simply tend to kill them before/be scary enough.
-
The usual baiting non-argument "You just want ez matches".
No, killers just want a fair chance in a balanced match. Especially since dbd devs are turning the game into a teamgame, rather than a 1v1v1v1 vs 1 killer game that it originally used to be.So obviously, some features making the survivor's life braindead easy have to be reworked in order to attain proper balance.
Don't worry tho, these devs only put update once every few months, and only do "very small steps". You'll keep having your survivor mode being relatively easy on a casual level for several months/years again. -

Not with hex:ruin. When there is a hex:ruin no one does a single gen 80% of time.I just run small game to avoid being cheesed by hex ruin. If you cannot hit great skillchecks, that helps a lot. It also helps destroying totems to get cheesed by NOED.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEW7c09ebsk&feature=youtu.be
Most ruin totems end up like this anyway. -
@Global said:
Even if they change the hex placements people will just memorise the placement areas and it will be the same situation all over again.Depends how much spawn there is. It could be actually quite tricky to find some of them if they allowed totems to spawn in corners of the map, similarly to the swamp maps.
-
Used to play her with :
Ruin
Nurse's calling
Whispers
Flexible slot
pretty simple stuff. Could try sloppy eventually, in the current state. -
@Eveline said:
As a solo survivor.Genrush against campers, just stay away from your teammates not to allow high mobility killers to distrupt several people at once and waste as much time as you can running away from them. If they systematically leave the hook and don't camp, he won't have the time to hook enough to kill everyone unless your team cannot juke for more than 5s, which is possible tho.
-
Not "soon".
SoonTM, eventually, when they'll feel like it, probably in some months. -
As far as I'm concerned, it only affects the points you get while in the match, which makes the perk rather useless compared to other perks such as BBQ & Chili, BP wise.

All you hear is killers crying all the time how there super underpowered and the survivor's are overpowered which is absolutely incorrect every dedicated killer just wants to turn the game into them winning every single match with no effort at all instead of just getting better at the game why does no one seem to want this game balanced at all ?Yet another "non-argument topic"
"You just want to win every rounds" isn't an argument. It's a statement, and it's a false one.True and sadly both sides extremists do this to insult the other side. Most people want a fun game that also can give them a good scare. Well occasionally a good scare since having a Myers sneakily stalk you and never be noticed is enough in 1 game.
Pretty much.
Most people just want a "balanced game for their level of play", which is very usually a casual mode, while the game should be balanced around a competitive mode in the first place. Which is why this game will never get balanced at this point : it's made to please casual players, and throw cheesy stuff at them they can use.At least, devs are heading (slowly) in the right direction by tweaking a few stuff.

Mostly to stress out new players, and to tell everyone "Hey look, I have Agitation, bodyblocking is probably useless"

It works for both unless it's bugged. Last time I tried it worked on both.

Laurie = DS user = makes dodging way more common since DS isn't fun to play against.

Imo its unfair for survivors to only run and hide
There should be weapons for survivors like shotgun
or pistols. The devs should do something or i will stop
playing this Game. Survivors are doomed to loose every Game
coz they cant do anything to the Killer
Seems you're off to stop the game then. Weapons aren't happening. The point isn't the fight the killer but to escape him.
-
Make your choice : not sure why it's not even the case.
Whispers : already been considered and cancelled in 2016. It would very likely turn the perk into a camping perk, which is not wished.
Spies : still unsufficient to make it viable.
Enduring : As stated by devs, Enduring isn't a stun reduction, it's a stun recovery, which is vastly different. At the moment, it turns the 5s DS stun (4s from the skill + roughly 0,8s from the drop) into a 2,8s stun, which is also not 55%.
Resillience : could do.
Iron Will : doesn't require a buff.
No Mither : lol, no mither.
Lithe : could do I guess. -
Don't wander around the basement if you're scared of it.
The basement is usually located either around the shack, or around a strong juking building.
If you get downed there, you probably deserve the punishment of going into the basement. -
A lot of mistakes.
I laughed at the Clown part. I supposed he succeeded in that regard. He also has SEVERAL cons. -

They also divided by 3 the speedboost of BL2.
It's not "only BL3".While true they're trying to make it much more smooth without having to take into account BL3. I'm going to wait and see what actually hits PTB for testing.
It's just a plain nerf while the maps are still broken. The main issue when it comes to bloodlust, for survivors, is the fact that bloodlust 3 is used to cheese free hits because some pallets become unsafe because of it. The main issue if you nerf bloodlust is that actual players will be hindered by the nerf since survivors will be able to loop windows brainlessly and get rewarded for it.
The real nerf bloodlust need is the removal of bloodlust 3 and a slight increase in speed to acquire bloodlust 2.
This way, you force survivors to use more pallets in a chase to break bloodlust, and you do not empathize cheesing and lame tactics such as using the same window repeatedly or using bloodlust to cheese hits.Tho I doubt it's gonna happen since these devs prefer to bandaid rather than actually think it through.
-
Weird maths.
Seems like you tend to forget there's a psycho killer able to still hit you as you run over the map, that can prove to be quite a distraction or a time waster.Amanda could use some buffs, tho. But I'm not sure these maths prove anything, really.
-
The Clown is rather balanced.
He could actually get some buffs when it comes to get slightly more map pressure to be competitively viable.Your nerf suggestion about his speed is honestly laughable. You'd be better play any fast killer then, since the speed difference between the killer and the survivor would make other killers to be more viable than he his even if he slows them down.
I don't think you're in your right mind, or aware of how the game is actually played, considering the request. Please, get some experience and come back.

@powerbats said:
Lets be realistic here, they're talking about BL3 and about totally removing it once maps are balanced. It's never ever going to be nothing but Nurses only. If you have to use histrionics then you've already lost the debate. The changes being tested haven't even hit the PTB yet once again the sky is falling posts pop up.The same was true for the exhaustion enrf yet when it was survivors complaining the killers said it hasn't even come out yet. So wait until it actually gets tested and they say it's going live before using ye old sky is falling.
They also divided by 3 the speedboost of BL2.
It's not "only BL3". -
You can unlock your shirt now, for later.

The red stain is fine as it is, as it is part of the mindgaming process. Just walk backwards/sideway when you want to hide it.

Why are killers whinning so hard because "We survivors" only have pallets as protection and they want to take that from us. They've already took our perks
Every killers I've faced lately complains about urban Evasion, Desesive strike and borrowed time....Honestly if killers want a free hand out like always.. They should spawn 1 survivor dead, 1 survivor on a hook another one down and the last one injured....
If killers get their way this game will be one sided.. I get that some killers at smart enough to deal with looping or to lwave that one survivor alone.
I understand that looping can be difficult to counter..
Why want killers just admit to being out played?
"sUrvIvoR sHoUlD sPaWn oN hOoKs, tHeY nEveR hAppY"
The usual biased complaint with 0 arguments, stating facts that never existed. "lol, killers complaint about UE"

@BLUE_APE said:
DBD became balanced and looping and camping were not allowed/viable anymore? What if you all started playing the game the way it was meant to be played, and called out the devs then?
My thought is Dev's are allowing camping because they are allowing Looping.
So why give the DEVs a good reason to stop looping.A balanced game would bring in more players.

These are the ones that spawn an illusionary doc that gives away your location. It can be found quite often as can be either a yellow, green or purple add-on.Surely one of the best killer add-ons in the game?
Once you are zapped with it there is no shaking it off. You are basically tagged for the whole game and stealth is out the window.
You are cursed with having to keep moving every time it appears. Cant sit and do a gen without it appearing, cant hide in a locker, cant escape it.Although it doesn't give away your precise location I liken it to a mutant variation of 'Whispers'. I'm calling it OP!
Playing against Doc is a race anyway, not a stealth game.

Devs thought back then that Freddy "is in a pretty good spot".
So i´m very cautious in that regard.Cote, did, actually.
I have very hard time considering this guy as a "dev". He's a game director that knows nothing about his game, that will just say anything to please the crowd, except when he wants to meme. -
Freddy 2.0 won't happen. At least as far as I'm concerned when I talk to devs, they consider it to be "a mistake from the past"
-
Hard to tell, there's a lot of possibility to make "deadly psychos" into "Hey, we made it so it's not made to actually kill"
-
As long as it's not "yet another low tier licensed character", I'll take it.
