  • And of course it's the day before rank reset

  • Going on 48 hours plus with no update. No offer of any compensation for missed time. 1 million BP wouldn't come close to what Xbox players have missed out on. Still getting error 8001 and I've disconnected 3x when I was able to get into a match and now have a hefty DC timer. You should disable the DC penalty when this is a known issue.

  • Same here on xbox trying dracula and wraith

  • I always thought an easy way to increase survivor enjoyment without hindering killer objectives was to allow a "ghost" type spectate once killed. You can roam the map, but can't interact with any objectives. Maybe you could place a marker like the map to let those remaining know chests, totems, gens, etc. to give more motivation to stay and help your team. Something similar to what White Noise does.

  • It could color code each players trail or have a mini survivor and killer head to track paths

  • There needs to be some alternative objective. Making gen times longer is not the answer, its already boring enough playing generator repair sim. I think there should be less required gens but another objective between gen completion and exit gates. Maybe finding keys to open the gates?

You actually can make it, months ago I went the same route from playing survivor exclusively to about 99% killer currently with the goal to fair play, and I'm still doing it that way and enjoying it. Sure there are some groups that try their best to ruin your day, but then I just have to try a single match as survivor and I'm happily back to playing killer.

Yes, and the killers like you (and hopefully me) make it enjoyable, even if you die, you know you died trying and not because someone stood by a hook or ignored others to instadown you.

LOL Judging by the comments, I AM NOT GOING TO ENJOY TRYING TO BE FAIR. But even when I have played friendly killer, I still end up with about as many points as the survivor team I let farm. I try to play for fun so that doesn't mean I always have to get kills necessarily. And believe me, I will counter toxic survivors with equal toxicity. I just mean I won't be douchey to someone who's not being douchey to me.

Yes... yes... let the hate flow through you.

You´ll see yourself. You play nice, hook everyone twice, but don´t kill them: "get rekt noob killer"

I honestly wonder how long it takes until you turn to the dark side.

    I will keep you posted!

They said that stealth still has a place in the game and I still do it alongside a very good friend of mine.

Even against Doctors, which people complain that stealth is impossible against him. To that, I say git gud.

Anyways, I love the fact that they're defending their choices instead of catering into Survivors as they've been doing for 2 years. Feels real good.

The calm spirit re-work will help with Doc Stealth

  • I feel for anyone whose first time playing the game is during rank reset.

  • The worst is when you have dc's before the game loads and you spawn 2/3 survivors and still 5 generators.

I read on steam forums that there was a HUGE debate on this and you can possibly be banned? (doing a 3-gen strat) Is that true? (asking for a friend)

Interesting, I'd like to know as well, I don't see how it would be bannable unless you're simply not allowing survivors to leave the game. And since allowing the last gen to pop is obviously very counter intuitive to killer goal, I can't see that being punishable.
Besides, I'm sure you've heard all of the commotion about the streamers who actively admit to lag switching and speed builds with video evidence that still play daily. Banning in a loose term in this game, IMO

DON'T do this. It's absolute cancer and it will not improve your game.

Please, for the love of god, don't do it.

It's essentially holding the game hostage, especially with a Doc and the ######### build.

I understand where you are coming from, but from another perspective, is this not actually more fair to the survivor who would normally be tunnelled and camped 2 minutes in? At least this way the survivor team can get a fair amount of bp within the time frame of getting 4/5 gens up.

  • I'm switching to killer to get away from those toxic killers. I don't intend to play this way, just as a survivor, I'm wondering why this isn't used more by killers (that don't care they're ruining someone's gameplay by camping 30 seconds into the match).

  • It'd be cool to see some Stephen King characters brought into a game. Pennywise, Carrie, Malachi, Gabe, Jack....

    Chucky

You would know he's the killer when you walk by a hook and see good guy branded step stools near the hooks.

We randomly spawn chucky dolls in to closets that would make the survivor that tries to use that locker a "jump scare" that gives an audible notification on the map to the killer.

maybe an ability to crawl under palettes during loops but with a cooldown of a less effective hit after the crawl...like borrowed time meter kinda thing. (I'm only thinking that because i know we can't negate palettes fully )

I'm open to other ideas :chuffed:

See, I pictured Chucky dragging survivors by their feet to the hook and kind of just stab impaling them to the post lol

  • I don't run DS, just too few perk spots for my evasive build, but as a survivor, I'm shocked at how much time my DS teammate can buy on generators.

  • Oh geezus, I didn't realize rank reset. Bahahaha. Looks like a good time to see the whole spectrum of survivors. Probably the thing that's going to hurt me most is the toxicity of the SWF teams. I've always been a solo player and had that element of fear of not knowing what my teammates were doing, which is great for the killer... is someone going to unhook them? Is the killer camping? Should I just finish this gen? With SWF teams you don't have that element of the survivors being in the dark. If one teammate spots you the whole team knows whats up.

Any tips with 360s? I'm not very good at them as a survivor, but I see some survivors taking killers for a ride with them. Is there a good counter?

I had a match where two survivors were attempting gen repair and I found the other two in lockers like whimps. All four survivors died like but why do people always attempt to hide in lockers most killers especially me search lockers.

I chalk it up to being new, or not very skilled most of the time. Personally, I only use lockers against Freddy and Doctor to keep from screaming.

  • Oh yea, I should add I play for fun, not for rank. For that reason I'll often let a bad start turn into a depip just because I don't find waiting on a camped hook enjoyable.
I don't expect survivors to respect me though, I've seen how some survivors are!

  • I hate the hatch campers. HEY I UNHOOKED YOUR SORRY ASH TWICE COME GET ME!!
Then they start t-bagging on the hatch, and I tell myself "NEVER. AGAIN." and then... I do it again :(

  • If No Mither didn't let the killer immediately know you were running No Mither (I see you David, nipples and all), it would me a much more viable perk.

The perk icon will light up when you look at him, regardless of whether you're dreaming or not. If you're not in the dream world, you won't see his aura but he will see yours.

If you watch the perk icon you can still know which direction he's in.

Yes, it's still very handy in this aspect, you just have to remember not to stay in that same spot after you see the icon light up

  • Keep your distance, you can jump in a locker for a few seconds to drop your madness meter to stave off the scream. If you run SS and OoO you can tell right away by the outline of the killer who it is, and just stay out of his terror radius constantly.
If he catches you, every doctor ever is going to shock you into oblivion, when they start doing this, run towards, or behind them, the treatment attack is almost always straight ahead unless they have addons changing it. Then just buy time for your teammates if you're caught and gen rush if not. In my experience, most doctors heavily shock the area around the hook and camp/patrol, so make them pay for it. Do your best and realize it's ok to die once in a while because we're all pawns in the entities game.
