  • Both are decently fun, but becomes meh after some times.
Myers give the best jumpscares tho.

  • Toxicity is a pilar of this game.
That's why survivors are strong and can be abusive : so they still have fun and stay playing the game.

  • China called, they want their wall back.

  • Iron Grasp crutch perk confirmed

Pls ignore all four Survivors have the perk in question

Also ignore that Killers should never have to give up chasing a Survivor, since they're supposed to be the power role.

I did talk to devs about that.
They weren't quite aware that killers had to drop most chases in the game due to perks/map setups 'till recently.
They clearly stated "Killers shouldn't have to drop chases, survivors should be the ones trying to lose killers."

Not sure how they didn't notice it's the opposite since day 1.

I mean you're right, but the current state this game is in IS NOT A STEALTH ONE. I often depip or safety (no pip) if I play stealthy and not in the Killers face at some point in the trial. Not to mention the new perk changes make stealth more favorable for the Killer (I mean really.... @ Tinkerer & Dark Sense/Bitter changes)

Idk, just wish stealth was highly respected in this game but it isn't. Them saying that statement makes me laugh, don't they play their own game? :P I'm surprised they took that long to notice

    Who cares about pips honestly.
Stealth being a thing however, would be a great thing, especially point wise somehow.

Whatever, this game is built to be toxic, and you cannot be toxic playing stealthy unless you hold the game hostage so meh.

  • The huntress is free. You don't need to unlock her since she's already unlocked. You might have to tick the DLC in the DLC section of your game in steam if it's not unlocked to you.

  • Who cares. Ranking is a joke in this game.
It's not even good for your epenis score considering how easy it is to rank up.

And for people that do not manage to rank up :
Sorry, you're just bad, overall. Whatever the role.
Or you play 2 hours a week, then yeah.

  • Pallets are fine in the current state. You very likely misjudge and greed on dropping a pallet, or play against someone laggy.

Hitting through a vault is actually very consistent. The distance can be easily estimated with some experience.

  • BBQ & Chili doesn't require adjustments.

  • They did improve survivor points a lot already.
Now the two roles do get nearly as much BP tbh.

It's just easier to stock up to 30k in a winning round of killer. But these rounds are usually much longer. So what you get over the time as surv is about the same.

Wraith will probably get a rework early 2022.
    Just wait, it's "soonTM".

2022 already? Man idk if I have enough time to prepare for these changes!

Yeah, if you actually do the math :
The last "rework" was Wraith, which was around november. It took approx 9 months now for them to "rework" Hag and Trapper (it's not even live yet). Next one on the list is very likely Freddy. Which will happen probably... SoonTM. 3 months for the possible next "mid-season balance patch", + 1,5 more months of testing.
Since they also want to rework Nurse add-ons, it just add-ups on the list.
Which makes 2022 the most realistic prediction for a Wraith rework considering he has been "reworked" (lol) a few months ago "only".

  • A reason ?
Because reasons. Who needs reasons to throw free stuff to survivors.

  • Not sure how a perk can make you to become a better player.
THey're here to provide avantages, not to make you better.

  • You have way too much free time.
    That's my though.

  • Wraith will probably get a rework early 2022.
    Just wait, it's "soonTM".

  • Devs said they want to "improve bloodlust", but they actually are nerfing it to make sure the babies are ok.
It's just the usual counterpart the killers have to pay when the survivors do get nerfed.
    Nothing surprising here.

  • Self-care, along with bad map design, needs to get changed.
The safetiness it provides is just too strong.

  • Dedicated servers ain't happening, devs said it several times.

  • It's taunting. No more, no less.
    Aka getting camped if caught.

Basically, a nerf to all Hex perks, overall.
Not quite sure about that since they're already weak.

Do you really think in this way? His suggestion about huntress lullaby more or less the same with my version of it and it was a little ibt OP considering the doctor. All the hex totems will be removed from the game and you won't be able to destroy ruin anymore. You can only hit great skill checks and good skill checks to counter it.

Overall I liked the changes but I am not sure. This post deserves to get attention a little bit more.

    Hm misread that part indeed.
Might be too strong for the Lullaby part.
Not sure about the others, tho I'm not sure hex totem will be removed from the game at this point, I've never seen a feature disappearing from the game once it has been put in, so far, except for a very few nerfs.

The game can be balanced. It being assymetrical is no excuse to let obvious unbalances to go unchecked.

No this game shouldnt be balanced one side needs to be extremely powerful hence the reason why this game is "asymmetric".

    You don't make sense.
You balance a game to be a proper 4v1.
Even if it's 4v1, you call it "balanced", you just have to have a proper power repartition.

  • Because bodyblocking is an intended mecanic in the game.
    /Thread

  • A leatherface guide ?
    If pallets : Press M1.
If no pallets : Hold M2, release.
Get Agitation + Insidious, carry to basement, and just stand there until something happens.
    There, done.

  • Basically, a nerf to all Hex perks, overall.
Not quite sure about that since they're already weak.

  • If you edit too much/too quickly in succession, you gotta wait for mods to confirm it for it to get published. Which basically isn't gonna happen. Everytime I get this "waiting for approval" thing, it just never comes back again.

Just save your drafts and post it later.

It was even harder back then, so most people know by now.

I know that it was difficult in the past even more. I think people get me wrong. I didn't say that it was easier in the past. What I have said was that it was less noticeable because there were 2-3 months between releases. I mean you can say since you had hard time, you might not like the change but do you think it would be bad if the newcomers get perks more easily?

600 levels for survivors are just a lot and for kellers it is like 1500 levels.

Even tho new players sure do have double the perks we had back then, to unlock, they also get 3 time more BPs per round, approx, easily, if not more considering :
They increased the BP gain in general.
    Streamers/Pudding/Cakes.
    BBQ/WGLF

This, paired with smaller AND cheaper bloodwebs, make the game hard to complain about compared to what it have been.
It sure takes time, but that's what get people hooked to it.

  • The game can be balanced. It being assymetrical is no excuse to let obvious unbalances to go unchecked.

  • Why would I want peace when the war is so damn fun ?

Happy Birthday. You just got older. And older.

  • I'll answer the usual :
Punishing someone for destroying the hex totem is a rather bad idea.
You'd better put a malus on players that DIDN'T.

  • Red Outfit Kate ofc.
Or Black Hag mud slippery sloopery.

  • They said it needed a buff ? Not sure it does.
I think it doesn't need a nerf, moreso.

i don't camp without prior toxicity offered but to each their own.

Since devs want to make this game a team game, rather than a "solo survivor in a cooperative team", I now consider the team as a whole. If someone is toxic, I'll just play toxic and rely more on being scummy to win.

Sounds fair to me, especially since if you don't play toxic in that kind of scenario, the toxic man of their team will rush to unhook/play even more toxic from it and actually get rewarded for it. Better to just stand there and wait for them to die than stressing it out.
In this game, I knew where every survivors were, and I knew they wouldn't have time to repair the last gen before the hooked guy actually died anyway, so strategically talking, the best thing to do was to STAY.

Had NOED in the worst case scenario.

Also Freddy, for obvious reasons. RIP Freddy, (26 October 2017- 9 November 2017)

Wait, there's LF players that do not camp ? Why do you play LF then ?

    Dailies.
Why would I want to play LF when I can play the superior chainsaw God Skillbilly.

I just delete them now. They're getting replaced automatically since a few patches after a deletion.

Wouldn't make the perk viable for solo.
Would make a nice trolling perk for SWF with Salty Lips & Up the Ante stacks with Slippery Meat.

I'm not too fond of this idea.

Yeah but not many are going to roll with that just to bet on a kobe at the expense of better perks.

The "not many" will be trolling SWF that will keep unhooking themselves over and over and be rewarded for it tho, that's why that's a "no" for me.

They got the hatch to escape, after all.

  • Nurse, LF and Freddy.
The 3 most boring killers BY FAR.

Leatherface taking the first place, followed closely by Nurse, and then Freddy.

I mostly play the rest of the killers, except eventually for Huntress since the latest patches about pallets and such, that really hindered her and made her rather annoying to play with.

I'm not asking for one, I'm demanding one.

I'm demanding that you do something about people telling me to off myself, call me a N-----, wishing death/sexual violence on my family, wishing Cancer and AIDS on them, etc.

I know you've spent a long time cultivating this "community," but please take some accountability and implement a real reporting system.

Welp, you're not in a position to demand anything, so that's pretty cute.

proof that it isn't an urban myth and is actually quite real.  even the best players must concede that it is garbo, as does tru here as evidenced by his rage quit.

    He's just too nice.
I would just hardcamp them one by one, bing bonging repeatedly.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0klbvNrdusQ&feature=youtu.be
This is how you do it, as Wraith.

  • Hardcamping in a 3v1 is kinda douchey.
Whatever tho, it's not like the round wasn't already ruined, mostly due to that survivor disconnection.

  • Thanks for your help.
We truly needed this thread in here that is definitely gonna change the game and possibly, save lives and cure cancer.

Again, a 3 second running requirement to activate SB would solve the problem... but nope let's nerf every exhaustion perk! If you nerf every perk equally then wouldn't SB still be the strongest perk? If they're gonna go through with the exhaustion nerf... They should directly nerf SB, like add a condition for it like other exhaustion perks or buff the less used perks like BL.

    ^ Pretty much this.
The exhaustion nerf itself is very debatable, while the SB nerf isn't. Not sure why they don't do things in order, once again.

    Freddy should fully get reworked.
The current form he has is just what everyone hates, aka looping, sandbagging, non-stealth and frustrating tunneling.

Freddy can be fun, if he´s played the way the devs envisioned him. Sadly they didn´t stick to that plan.
If waking up wouldn´t be so easy, he would make a really good hit and run killer. Devs should balance this.
When i play him, i tag everyone i see, chase them, hit them, then go for someone else nearby. That confuses survivors, since they are used to being tunneled by him. Once they start healing, i go back and finish them.

LF can also be fun, the fact that half of them are just insidious camping/face camping with revved chainsaw, however...

... is just a result of survivors complaining over BBQ instead of Insidious.

Shh, don't contredict survivor mains, killers aren't supposed to have strong perks. Even if it means no camping and a more back and forward game.

  • @ChraizE said:
It's not even a nerf to be honest it's just balance that has been a long time coming, you're not supposed to recover while sprinting that makes no sense at all. Recovering begins once the sprint has been completed that's not really a nerf that's just how it was supposed to be all along.

Even if it's "for balance", a nerf is a nerf. Deserved or not.
