So when I actually DO get lobbies the Ping is always ######### AND the Ranks mix matched to [BAD WORD] being fair anyone, I got a Rank 2 Killer with Rank 8 me, a 15, A 10, and something else every match, all uneven. I was going against a Billy and we died SO HARD I thought my team just sucked but hell no this Billy was Rank 2 and it explained how perfefect he was with is saw, none of us were experienced enough to go against that.

You gotta think, this game is not exactly thriving. There isn't really a big enough player base to have the games rank separated anymore. From my understanding The matchmaking fix is too more or less remove rank and region from the equation so we can actually find games.

We're all going to have to get used to mix ranked games if we ever actually want to find matches.

Dont spread lies, please. Someone might actually believe them.

All the problems we are experiencing now are solely because of them testing a new matchmaking system. Something is definitely screwed, and its a matter of time before they get it right.

  • According to their backstories, none of them actually saw the Entity. They all just got captured/followed it and appeared at the campfire. The only one who saw a bit more was Kate, and yet she only witnessed the tendrils/spider legs.

  • None of the hex perk reworks sound enticing. Especially Devour Hope. I get they stop being hexes, but their effects are... pretty weak.

The new Boil Over is useless. If you have to wait a certain percentage to blind the Killer from seeing hook auras, then its irrelevant for them not to see them. They would have already locked on a specific hook to go for.

I would remove the increased recovery speed and crawling speed from No Mither and give it to Tenacity. That way, you are buffing another perk and creating a nice perk combo.

Every other idea sounds nice. Especially Knockout.

I want a female survivor really bad with darker skin. I hope she's Latina, Indian, Native American, Hawaiian, Filipino...anyone with that sort of toasted skin tone. There are no survivors like that and I really want to see one!

Also, less black hair would be nice. There are NINE people with black hair, two redheads, one blonde, two grey/white, and one brown.

    Dont forget Billy's backhair.

  • The Freddy rework is most likely not going to happen on the next chapter. I would expect them to keep reworks and such for mid-chapter patches.

What I am expecting is starting off the stream with the full trailer. Then they will talk about the Killer's power, the Survivor, the map, and any small changes for it. Maybe announce another thing, like FPS optimisation or Switch release. Lore and Q&As will probably be left for another stream.

  • If its just for myself only, definitely make Prayer Beads base for my Spirit. Free grabs FTW!

Either Indian or Latina character would make me happy! I'd also want a female survivor that's a bit more aged too, kind of like Ace but more stoic!

Also, do you think we'll have a survivor from within the current time or do you think they'll have been plucked from the past?

They did once state Survivors will forever be characters related to the present time, because thats the main appeal for people who play them.

  • I would keep running Enduring for a bit, then switch it out for something else as time passes. Once the new DS rolls out, everyone will use it for a while. Then the interest dies down and we are back to the usual.

Even then, if DS drops a bit in popularity, Spirit Fury and Enduring is quite a strong combination. I would just use it anyway. But, if you do intend to swap it out, my question would be, would you prefer defence (Discordance, Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasle, etc) or offense perks (Bamboozle, Sloppy Butcher)?

You have a distorted view of reality. The chapter of Saw is the worst successful, aesthetically horrible, even the map that is among the most hated, and the Pig is the worst character useless and horrible in the all saga, they call it "Saw" but has nothing of Saw that DLC, even at level of plot is wrong since the policeman is already dead when the Pig comes out in the movie.

Myers instead is the most successful licensed killer of all

I think your view is distorted. Pig received the spot as the second most successful licensed DLC. The Game was a very valued and refresher idea of smaller maps. The ones who say that its badly designed are salty Survivors who cant bear to have one map that doesnt favour them (and Trappers and Huntresses, I guess).

  • Reduce the Clown's slowdown when throwing bottles.

  • Yes, they stack. The lowest you can go is by combining Red Paint Brush with Z Block, making dream transition 3 seconds long.

  • I want Pantless Frank.

How is sloppy butcher compared to thanathophobia?

Thanatophobia turns your bar red. Sloppy Butcher actually slows down stuff.

  • Why would you want Distortion to work against Rancor? Tokens would be so easily wasted with it.

Not a good counter, because now optimal survivors won't heal at all and genrush with adrenalin lol

At least I do this since the healing nerf, and as long as you are good enough at chasing you don't care about beeing injured. Unless it's a nurse. And since the release of Legion it's even more a waste of equipping selfcare.

People were complaining about genrushing and now survivors genrush even more. Let's see when it makes "click" in the head of the last guy.

Yet the big big majority of Survivors choose to invest their time healing, even with Sloppy Butcher on them. And its not wrong. Running around injured to do generators might be effective, but its risky. Get found by the Killer and its half of your chase gone. Its like having a free exposed and Whispers effects.

  • Welcome to the Spirit gang!

We shall call ourselves... IDK, House of Grudge? The Vacuums? The "Where Did She Go?!"?

  • At least we have a crap-ton of emotes now. 🐽🐽🐽

Wake Up is actually really good. Pharmacy is really only used for item farming and is useless otherwise. Vigil needs to be useless otherwise exhaustion perks would be too powerful.

So...eh. Could be worse. Tapp kinda has the same situation where the only good perk he has is Tenacity lol

Nah nah nah. Stake Out is amazingly effective. Its his best perk, only followed by Tenacity. Detective's Hunch is the only "bad" one.

I can't access Steam unfortunately. Cause my wifi out at home, and my school chromebook blocks certain sites. I am completely surprised I can even go on the forums.

Get a VPN. Lets you bypass blocked websites.

  • I disagree with Spirit's teachables though:

    • Best: Spirit Fury. Even without Enduring it helps a lot on getting rid of pallets and shortening chases.
    • Middle: Rancor. Slightly more situational, but, I have had a blast with this perk. Not only lets you mori someone, but the information it gives you during the trial is also really sweet. It also makes me save up on mori offerings when I get one of those dailies.
    • Less Good: Haunted Ground. Even if the weaker one of the bunch, nowhere near underpowered. Its effectiveness is RNG though.

As for Doctor, I would swap Overcharge with Monitor & Abuse. Sure, it only works for stealth plays, but its effects are just so good that you cant ignore it. Overcharge is also nice, but hitting those skillchecks is more about practice.

The main thing deal here is that, while Killers can potentially earn more BP than Survivors per match, Survivors earn just as much (or more) over the course of multiple matches. Survivors can requeue instantly after dying, while Killers have to stick through the entire match. The only situation in which this isnt true is SWF, because they also need to wait for their friends to leave the match. Which is why SWF breaks the game in more ways than just during match. :P

Regarding SWF, that's a choice they make themselves. It has no bearing on the balance of the game.

Exactly. Then they come complaining about it.

Ace's perks are worse than Quentin's though.

but at least 2 of Ace's perks have a remotely good use. Quentin cannot be defended.

Up the Ante and Ace in the Hole are useless. Open Handed is somewhat decent, but nothing major. So, 3 mediocre perks.

    vs

Pharmacy, better than SC, because of faster healing speed, and speeds up chest searches and makes them quieter. Vigil, still a good combo with Exhaustion perks. Wake Up is the less powerful of the bunch and even then it helps solos more than all of Ace's niche perks combined.

The only thing I wouldnt mind having changed about prestiging is keeping event offerings and items. I am kind of a hoarder though.

Same, I've still got BBQ offerings lol.

I lost all my Pustula Petals. >_>
  • Spirit. She has strong perks, and her power is one of the most rewarding, fun and fair in the whole game. She might take a bit to pick up at first and getting used to use phasing a lot, but it is extremely worth it.

Clown would be my second choice. Not as powerful, but still holds a nice seat. Rather straightforward power, but there is little counter to it, making it probably the best chaser in the game. Not to mention his perks are outstandingly good.

Legion is... just there. I only unlocked them recently, so I have little experience with them. But they are still fun to play as. Discordance is powerful, the other two are more situational. Still, while not as powerful as the other two, and considered of a worse design than them, it is the best BP farmer in the entire game, even more than Doctor. Its also ez mode pipping, even without kills.
  • The only thing I wouldnt mind having changed about prestiging is keeping event offerings and items. I am kind of a hoarder though.
  • For those that didnt catch it, the OP is being sarcastic. (Most likely)

  • Ok, I just had a match with Pig. I was wrong before. There are four types of beeping (not taking into consideration the Game Over one; five if we count that one), and they happen every 25%.

So, the real times are (again, taking default times only):

    • Slow: 150-113 seconds left (2m 30s to 1m 53s)
    • Slightly faster: 113-76 seconds left (1m 53s to 1m 16s)
    • Medium: 76-39 seconds left (1m 16s to 39s)
    • Fast: Less than 39 seconds left

(More or less approximations here. If you want exact numbers, we would have to consider if the round up or down :P)

  • For Myers, Spine Chill mainly.

For Huntress, MAYBE Dead Hard. But considering how many hatchets they usually have, you will only dodge a single one because of this perk. Otherwise, no counter.

Urban Evasion being a counter to Hag is 50-50. Sometimes its better for them not to trigger traps if you placed them strategically. And knowing how UE users play their rounds...

For Leatherface, maybe any exhaustion perk, even though they will only counter one chainsaw charge. Borrowed Time sometimes works, but if a Leatherface is lucky, he can also make it utterly useless.

For Freddy, Adrenaline. It not only wakes them up, but it also heals them. So, that means two whole interactions with the Survivor made redundant, unlike most Killers who only have one interaction reverted.

Pig is an interesting one. Spine Chill only counters her if she tries ambush a lot. Distortion somewhat counters Amanda's Letter, but only letting you know she is running it. Basically, there are no perks that fully counter her, just perks that counter her different playstyles.

I dont think there is any perk that counters Clown. Maybe generator speed perks, but that is a general problem.

For Spirit, both Iron Will and Spine Chill will cripple her greatly. Makes you harder to track once injured, and lets you know if she is coming your way.

  • ..

The hatchets in the lockers, lol.
  • To be fair, you could potentially gift Auric Cells. Share a Steam gift card, add funds to the wallet and get the Auric Cell packs yourself.

  • I sometimes run around perkless. And when I do it on Quentin, I rename myself to Perkless Quin.

  • Lets revise your post...

    Minuses (-)
    1) Momento mori deprives you of a chance. <- Same thing happened with old version as well if you didnt use it on your first down.
    2) I can go after the survivor and wait only 40/50/60 seconds for a new strike <- This is a pro. Do you really not see how much of a waste of time this is?
    3) Camper Killer - deprives you of a second chance. <- If you are camped and unhooked, the new DS fixes it. If you are camped, how would that be different to anything?
    4) Killer Tunneler - deprives you of a second chance <- Looks like you didnt read the perk description at all...
    5) Not experienced survivors who will not take you off the hook - deprive you of a chance. <- Unsafe unhooks will be safer. Again, did you read the perk description at all?
    6) Increased reaction check area. (it is not needed). This is a chance and what would it be you should be able to learn and learn to play. <- The decreased difficulty of the skillcheck makes up for the overall nerfs that it got.
You can not make survivors lazy.

    Pros (+)
    1) Dripling or Gambling is a great introduction, there will be no more throwing off, you can use a shard while you are on the ground. <- Looks like you actually read the perk's new description.
  • Would be hilarious if Survivors petted it and were eaten alive by it. Lets not forget its the Entity's and Clown's ally.

I'm noticing instant lobbies into red ping at the moment.

Same here. Endless red ping one after another. I triple checked if it was my connection (download on the background or something), and nothing. I tried as Killer and got Survivors non-stop, none of which had less than 400 ms.

And the few matches that I had decent ping on; they were both sides of the spectrum. Rank 15s to Rank 1s (ironically, we got infinite loading screens with every red rank). Something effed up.

  • Back in the old days, out of all Killers, Wraiths were the ones most expected to have NOED actually. Myself included, some people still hold that stereotype in mind. As Wraith got better, I have seen less of those types around however.

  • Hard to fall for it when the channel's icon is a horse and the thumbnail shows a clip from Visage.

I really hope the survivor is a woman and she has cute cosmetics. I’ll be a little disappointed if we get yet another male survivor.

I just want a survivor that I feel genuinely suits me and that isn’t directly mocked (butch Nea) or related to toxicity (Claudette.)
    Then pick Kate. :P
  • When I dont feel like doing Killer matches but need the daily bonus, I equip Rancor with any Killer, pretend to be AFK the entire match, wait for the Obsession to come and farm Chase points (or taunt), M1 and mori them.
  • I think there are three types of beeping. Slow (recently activated), medium (halfway through) and fast (almost done). I am somewhat sure they are equally split, so (using default time);

    • Slow: 150-100 seconds left (2m 30s to 1m 40s left)
    • Medium: 100-50 seconds left (1m 40s to 50s left)
    • Fast: Less than 50 seconds left
  • Hillbilly might probably be better as a Fighting type. Otherwise, they all seem pretty fitting.

Clown being Fairy made me giggle, lol.

If we ever get a Killer with wings (unlikely), they would probably be Dragon type.
  • I think they will stick to animals native to forests, because that fits with her whole style. Therefore, I doubt for the idea of the shark and the sloth.

I am not too fond of the idea of sharing how many totems are up on the map, because, while a buff for solos, its also a buff for SWF.

What if, instead of showing how many totems are left, there is a map-wide noise notification when someone cleanses a Dull Totem? Of course, different sound from a Hex Totem being broken, but same rules. No spoon-fed information, rewards being attentive and benefits solos only.

Isn't this the same thing? There is a consistent number of dull totems on the map at the start of the trial (5) so having the counter start at 0 going up and having it start at 5 going down is giving you the same information.

I'd only agree to having it be counting up rather than down because it interacts better with mechanics that change the number of dull totems (having the number of dull totems go down right as the final gen is completed is a dead giveaway for NOED for better or worse)

The point is, instead of being told directly, which is something people are against, you will have to pay attention yourself. If you care about totems, you will keep track of how many of them are cleansed.

Once again, rewards people who actually pay attention during the match rather than just play M1 Sim, doesnt shove information down your throat and only buffs solos.

  • I like how the "escape rate" drastically changes every time someone uses it to get a point across.
  • When all of the Killers' animations were hideously long (though we have been spoiled by having them shortened). Breaking pallets, regressing generators, picking up, hooking.

Whenever I watch old videos I always say to myself "Jeez, do it FASTER". Its probably a time I will never want to have back.
