if your trolling the killer though the happy troll is more fitting

You seem to be focused on trolling. There are other games you can troll in, you know.

Is this thread supposed to be in jest or not? I don't get it.

This comes to mind, but I'm sure there are better ones.

Can survivors be warned when the killer is equipping pink mori or broken addons as well?
I mean, a nurse with pink mori is a death sentence unless she's a complete potato.

There aren't that many secret offerings, are there? I mean, offerings that people actually use.

Neither do I. It's deepthroat; not deepear.

I wouldn't want voice chat with randoms. I absolutely hate voice chat with strangers in online games. You always run into someone playing music in the background, someone deep throating the mic and breathing heavily, and loads of people who start blaming everyone the second things start to go wrong.

The last one is the biggest issue. You can only get so upset at a mute person. When you can view your frustrations at them and they can fire back, things are going to go south real quick. See: Overwatch.

I'd rather the same info be available without voice chat to level the playing field. Aura reading, etc.

Who or what I deepthroat is none of your business. Don't kink shame.

Why are you being so defensive about facts? I didn't say you were wrong (or right), I posted a fact about the effect Distressing has on Rin's terror radius.

  • Don't take Self-Care or don't rescue when the Killer is right there. Both of these are (temporary) fixes.

  • @Dudddd said:
With distressing its broken you can just keep grabbing people off gens

Distressing gives Rin a Terror Radius of about 30 meters (+6 meters compared to base), which is still smaller than the default TR (32 meters).

Camping is inherently bad because it puts the power in the Survivors' hands, but they decide to misuse that power and reward camping, which makes it the best strategy for getting kills nine times out of ten.

Or you know... being a good killer is the best strategy 9 times out of 10....
If the survivors are bad enough to make dumb saves/misuse that power when the killer is camping, then the survivors are bad enough for the killer to beat them easily without camping...

Most people will flock to what gets the best result for the least amount of effort. If you want to purposefully handicap yourself and always allow for free hook rescues so that you have to work more for your kills, that's up to you. Other people will actually defend the hook from would-be rescuers or even use it as bait, and it works just as well.

  • Since I'm usually streaming when I play this, I think it'd just make it more annoying for everyone else.

Camp if you think it's the right strategy. If you win, then it's the right strategy.

Ignore this. Camping is a horrible strategy and will only work against bad survivors who still try and save without Borrowed Time. Might get a win but you'll always be in low ranks. Also, it's not fun for you as the killer or the survivors. I'm a killer main who's hit rank 1 every season since I started playing 6months ago and I never camp. It's unnecessary to win, and again, not fun for anyone. Even as a killer, it's a lot more fun (and rewarding in terms of both bloodpoints and personal satisfaction) when you do well and secure 4k's without camping. You also won't learn anything about the game mechanics and killer/survivor strats by doing so.

Camping is inherently bad because it puts the power in the Survivors' hands, but they decide to misuse that power and reward camping, which makes it the best strategy for getting kills nine times out of ten.

It didn't work in the past, that's why we had online report on the google.

It did work in the past.

  • It's always worked; it's people like you who think it didn't/doesn't and people who lie about it that made it pointless. Well, those and people who make false reports, obviously.

  • No, there shouldn't be. This has been attempted in other games and always results in the best players being blocked by everyone. I don't care how you, personally, would use it, because this is not just about you.

  • Nobody knows because the devs have not revealed any numbers, and anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying or making ######### up.

  • Yes, but only if No Mither ignores these penalties.

    Any other stupid ideas?

Are you saying teabagging is a Survivor power?

I literally do not understand where you got that idea, crouching is a sruvivor ability, youre saying spamming it should cause a debuff, why shouldnt same apply to killers BMing?

This is not about crouching or Killers BMing, this is about Survivors teabagging. Stay on topic, please. Are you saying that teabagging is a Survivor power, yes or no?

  • Best we can do is get a few age ranges for the Survivors, but the Killers always have their faces hidden or otherwise obscured.

  • I like this in principle, but in practice, gen rushing is not a SWF-only problem. Furthermore, the issue with SWF is not gen rushing, but rather the fact that they have knowledge of the map and events on a scale they shouldn't have. They know when one of them is being chased and where they are. They know where everyone is and what they're doing. They know where the Killer put down traps. They know where the Killer is at any given point, as long as one of them sees him.

Bans for disconnecting are automatic. Reporting for disconnects doesn't do anything.
The devs already hand out bans for frequent disconnects. After every ban wave, there are literally dozens of complaining threads from the people who were banned.

I would like to add a point to the above post :

    • Admitting to cheating and still asking for a pardon.

Ah, yes, that's a personal favorite. Literally saying they were hacking or whatever, but "everyone does it" (they don't), so they should be unbanned.

  • Yes. After every ban wave a bunch of complaining threads pop up, usually in one of the following forms:

    • Claiming that bannable offenses (usually the one they were banned for) aren't priorities, that the devs should instead on balance issues or optimization.
    • Claiming that "a friend" got banned for something, but they didn't really mean it/know about it/do it on purpose and should be unbanned.
    • Admitting they were banned, but also claiming they didn't know that an (obviously) bannable offense was bannable, and blaming the devs for "not making the rules clear".
    • Admitting they were banned and claiming they don't really care (as evidenced by their thread totally not complaining about it).
    • Admitting they were banned and asking why people X, Y, Z weren't banned either (which they have no way of knowing).
    • Admitting they were banned, but blaming the devs for making the bannable offense possible (usually seen when complaining about DC bans).
    • Generic vitriol, clearly showing why they were banned in the first place.

    And so on.

I don't get how people can be against DS but then think NOED is totally fine. If DS gets a nerf, so should NOED. Both perks are just bad and punish the other side for doing well.

One perk can be disabled before it triggers. The other can't.

One perk can be used only once. The others can be used on all four survivors, if they survived for that long.

Look, not trying to be devil's advocate, but I would still say most of the hatred towards DS comes from the fact that it's very annoying (I know it is, especially after a chase that took too long), rather than it being a very effective survivor tool.

One perk can only be used once by each and every Survivor, with almost zero input from the Killer. The other can be used on all four Survivors if the Survivors don't break totems and never leave the trial. Both perks put the power in the Survivors' hands. It's time to stop pretending NOED and DS are equal.

Technically, it has. All ranks have exposed instead of rank 3. So I mean, its a buff.. .

Imagine if Self-Care only unlocked the self-heal interaction at tier 3. That's what NOED was like before - the effect that people actually wanted wasn't available until the very last tier of the perk. NOED was simply made useful at lower tiers.
Was it buffed? Technically yes, if you also ignore that they took out another portion of the perk across all tiers.
    Is it significant? No.

It's kind of hard to see how powerful survivors can be when you are playing with randoms, but there's so much strength in numbers. Almost any survivor would change their mind about tunneling/camping being unfair if they played a killer to rank 5 or so. Play one to rank 1 to really drive the point home.

Without tunneling we would have to cycle each player, and considering that the average match above rank 10 has 1-3 gens done by the time the first person is downed, there would be almost no way to win the game for the killer.

My killer is rank 1 and camping and tunneling is for bad players. The only time it's reasonable is dying light or bm'ing survivors. If they have 1-3 done by the time you down someone, you don't belong at that rank.

Explain the thought process at work here. Someone achieved the same result as you with a different (let's say easier, for the sake of argument) strategy. How is the fact that you handicap yourself and they don't a problem with the way they play?

  • Hooks are made of Entity.

Then they shouldn't be playing public games. We're talking escaping 1 out of 3 games or failing to get 2 kills per game every 3 games. Statistics posted by the devs themselves considers these to be"average" and quite honestly not that hard to accomplish for either role.

This elitist attitude will get you nowhere, and just means that this game isn’t for you. There are plenty of other games out there, but I doubt that you’ll find many games (if any at all) that employ this tactic. It is a historical fact that games that solely cater to elitists, don’t exist very long.

Mostly because elitists are not as good as they think they are.

  • This sounds like a good time to use the counter to the perk, if indeed you encounter it as often as you claim.

Experience per trial is slightly higher for Killer because the Killer is the only person who must stay until the end every single time, no matter what. However, experience per minute (the measurement that actually matters) should be more or less equal.

This is completely false. Killers earn more bloodpoints by every way measurable. It's not even close either. BBQ is the key. It is like a free survivor pudding every match. With BBQ and no offering you should almost always get 50,000 or more bloodpoints per game as killer. If you have a survivor pudding with BBQ it's in the 70-90k range.

Some people like to spread this myth that survivors gain roughly equal bloodpoints since their lobbies are faster and their games are shorter. It just isn't true. I've done tests and in my games killer got almost double the bloodpoints in a given period of time.

I was making a baseline comparison. The myth is spread by people like you, who throw in massive BP bonuses for one side and compare that instead.

  • Experience per trial is slightly higher for Killer because the Killer is the only person who must stay until the end every single time, no matter what. However, experience per minute (the measurement that actually matters) should be more or less equal.

Deaf and hard of hearing are two completely different things...

And if one group can be given advice on how to improve their situation, why shouldn't it?

  • There probably aren't enough players in their region, so the matchmaker expands the search parameters. To implement a full region lock would make it so certain players would effectively be locked out of playing the game entirely.

Couldn't you replace it with 1.1/1.2/1.3?

No, because they're not 10%/20%/30% increases. It depends on the thing.

  • Y'know, I'd support this if you, OP, were to personally pay each individual who gets banned the same amount of money that they spent on the game.

Let me rephrase: how does looping help the Survivor who is looping to escape? They're gonna get caught eventually, it's just a matter of time.

Well if the looping surivor is the only one left in the game, it doesnt help at all. But its 1 vs4 you know?

So 3 escape, and the looper dies. I ask you again, how does looping help the looper escape?
