It is also very entitled that killers expect solo survivors to cleanse 5 totems against nurse or spirit and talk like it is an easy thing to do :)
Stop assuming all survivors want easy matches and free escapes
Then just break NOED after gates pop. Anyone can break a single totem and a killer can only chase 1 person.
The problem with NOED is that survivors don't want to do totems or will come up with reasons why they can't and killers will continue to use it because it causes survivors to complain and no one ever does totems.
Its toxic meets toxic round and round in a circle.

Since add-on's optimize a killer's power, is it smarter to just use no add-on's so I can get a better knowledge of the killers power?
No.
1: It will allow you to get a feel for the baseline power.
2: You will not be wasting add-ons meaning you won't feel stressed if you lose horribly.

It’s honestly just a perk for people who can’t get kills because they suck. I haven’t seen a single game of killers without using it. I’m at purple ranks and it’s annoying dying to some BS hex because as a team, we decided not to break totems and actually focus on objectives. I was thinking of a away to make it a actually somewhat skillful perk. Why not make it so it gives you a high amount of haste? It already gives you a slight movement speed increase, so just remove the expose and increase the speed boost?
Just like a killer will slug someone because they "MIGHT" have DS (even if they don't) so too must survivors cleanse totems because the killer "MIGHT" have NOED.
Its about adapting to the match and playing around possible problems. If your team rushes gens and the killer doesn't have NOED then you guys took a risk and it paid off. But if the killers does have NOED then your team took a risk and suffered the consequences.
You said yourself "I haven't seen a single game of killers without using it" so why are you still getting killed by it? If its that prevalent in your games then break the totems and it becomes a wasted perk slot.

You have to take this info with a grain of salt because they said this information wasn't complete as they omitted specific matches and ranks.

Killers are pressed for time to win a match because their win condition (killing everyone) must be met before all the generators are completed and the exit gates opened. For this reason any killer that has a power that directly effects how quickly they can get into/finish a chase successfully becomes far more beneficial than "gimmick" powers.
For example Nurse can blink through walls and pallets meaning she doesn't need to worry about being looped around a building for as long as a Pig or Wraith. Because of this Nurse is able to meet her objective (getting 4 kills) faster than Wraith or Pig.
Now this is not to say other killers cannot compete against survivors to win but they must rely on slowdown in different ways since their chase potential is slower than Nurse.
Lets take a look at Billy. Yes he can instant down survivors with his chainsaw BUT he still has to deal with loops just like Wraith and Pig. So why do people consider Billy to be high tier? Well that is because his chainsaw has the second function of quickly traversing the map. This allows Billy to get into chases much faster and apply pressure on survivors doing generators (some maps will negate the effectiveness of his speed due to winding hallways or lots of objects in the way). So even though Billy cannot make up for lost time with loops he can get to point A and point B much faster than other killers.
These are just some basic examples of traits that make killers "high" tier vs "low" tier. My advice to you would be to play each and every killer so that you can develop a better understanding of how they play and find which one fits YOUR playstyle best. You do not need to play the "Top/high tier" killers to win your matches or rank up, it will just help make up for some of the stresses killers have to go through in the high ranks.

Look at this video:https://youtu.be/AaRLW4ZS4Jk
Go in the comment section and look at the pinned comment, then scroll through the pinned comment's comments and you'll see that they asked the creator the permissions to use the chase music in the game!(and he accepted!)
Not_Queen already confirmed that simply because they wished to use this persons "chase theme" on their end of things it DID NOT mean they were adding it to the game.
Now I'm sure due to the traction this is getting that they have to have plans for implementing new chase themes in the future, but I would hazard caution when reading into these things.

Why dodge them anyway? I’ve never dodged swf.
I personally no longer care because I've been playing since day 1 and no longer need to BP grind.
However for people trying to grind ranks, grind BP or who want a more casual game where a group of SWF could add a huge sway in the match, they might want to dodge.
While comms is not cheating it does grant the team a massive advantage during the match being able to communicate so much information instantly and essentially giving your whole team a load of perks for free. Because DBD was not created with SWF in mind many of the games mechanics/perks/killer powers can be circumvented (to an extent or entirely) with the use of comms.
I also do not wish to see SWF leave the game because there are many teams who simply play survivor casually for fun too. However even the casual SWF teams still hold an advantage over a group of solos most of the time.
At the end of the day until they can figure out how to balance the disparity of solo vs SWF (and adjust killers accordingly) there will always be this annoyance with facing SWF groups.

Because CaMpInG iS a LeGiT sTrAtEgY apparently. People love to victimize themselves and pretend like most killers are so weak that they can't get kills without camping.
If the killer stands in place for 2 minutes "camping" and your team isn't doing gens but rather circling the hooked survivor hoping for a chance to save them, then have they not justified the killers tactic?
Camping is beaten by doing gens, tunneling is beaten by doing gens and using DS/Borrowed. Yes the person being camped/tunneled is having a bad time but if you push on gens then you will outrank that killer and never see them again. If you instead play into the killers hands and stay near the hook then you allow that killer to rank up and keep getting away with the tactic.
The tools to beat camping and tunneling are there, people just refuse to use them and then complain when they lose.

Only to those who tunnel
I have had plenty of games where player A unhooks player B, I manage to down player A and hook them only to run into player B who still has DS. I'm not tunneling player B but I'm not about to ignore them either so I slug them until I think DS is up or I risk taking the hit.
People often have a perverse idea about tunneling. If you get unhooked and I walk my butt to the other side of the map and YOU are the only person I see I am going to hit you again.
I have been called a "tunneler" in games where every single survivor had taken 3 hooks to kill and each were hooked twice before anyone died...you cannot please anyone some days.
-
Maybe if we had more constant/viable killers for Red ranks we would see more diversity. Anyone looking to hit the Red ranks has to play what works the best and that list is pretty small.

I thought you said this was a small change.
The key idea is pretty neat but it would encourage tunneling the "key holder" so that is a potential problem. The other issue would be "troll" players who won't give the key back even if they cannot use it.
The issue with the Mori is that if you have to carry a survivor close to a hook and drop them they may simply escape. Remember that each time you drop a survivor nearly 33% of the wiggle bar is instantly filled and if less or equal that amount was remaining on the wiggle bar then they instantly jump off when trying to drop.
I honestly think the only Mori change that needs to happen is no more Ebony. I don't find Ivory a huge issue especially with the change you suggested with everyone needing 1 hook.
Overall I think these ideas sound interesting and it would be fun to experiment with them were it ever possible they made it to a PTB.
Edit: Sorry I "quoted/tagged" the wrong person ^.^''

I remember almost everyone being mad at how The Pig was not a big enough character to deserve her place as killer in dbd. Or something on those lines.
However I feel like a lot of people saying that surely are glad we got the pig as killer.
What was your reception towards her upon release and how has it changed?
Disappointing that "Detective Tap" was the survivor but I honestly thought Amanda made more sense as the killer. I mean "Jigsaw" or "John Kramer" was a mostly feeble old man after the first movie. Sure he is THE Jigsaw but Amanda had much more involvement in the films and most importantly had a "lust" for killing, unlike Kramer who thought the captured victims deserved to escape if they proved themselves.
Amanda's lust for the kill would have had a far more alluring effect on the Entity.

My recommendation to anyone else who might ask me the same question would be The Void (2016). I thought it was a pretty cool film which I hadn't heard much about before I saw it.
Any suggestions are welcome, I'll let you know if I check yours out ;)
When I first heard the premise of this movie (A Demon that travels via sex) I thought it sounded like it was going to be a comically bad horror film, I was wrong.
While this movie isn't in my top list of favorites it is easily one of the few horror film that actually surprised me in a good way.

Trapper
-All unopened traps appear in a white aura visible at all times.
-All active/placed traps appear in a red aura visible at all times.
-All broken/sabotaged traps appear in a yellow aura during their broken status.
-You start the game with all your traps equipped
OR
You have 3 traps equipped at the start of a match* basically just make the "bag" add-on base-kit.
-You're terror radius is replaced by a unique theme song titled "Here Comes The Trapper" (Samination)
Honestly I thing the "flagship" killer for Dead by Daylight is loooooong overdue for a rework.

Sounds like you're right. I hope dedicated servers fix it when they come out. Also if they don't fix grabs I'm gonna lose my poop.
Yes I hope grabs get fixed as I have had far to many grabs stolen from me.
I don't think dedicated servers will have an effect on this issue because it isn't really a "latency" thing. They would need to tightened up the actually physical hitboxes of items/object to fix that issue. If you program a car with a 2m width but put a 2.5m jagged hitbox on it then that programmed car will always spawn as such. It needs to be manually adjusted/scaled to have the hitbox reflect the visual of the item.
-
Assuming the "upstairs gen" is the one in the office-esc section with the small room/1 man gen then I disagree.
It is ill advised to leave a 1 person gen as one of the last simply because it takes longer to complete, also it is a very unsafe generator to work on unless you have Balanced Landing for the big double drop hole.

I'm sick and tired of trying to run in a basic line hugging the wall only to get stuck on something which I made sure I moved out of the way from.
It feels like the more wide the Survivor it is the more often it happens. Could just be a latency thing with the killer but it just ruins a chase when it completely stops you in place because you ran a little too close to the wall or a corner of a barrel or whatever.
Sounds like hitbox collision not matching up with the visuals of the object and not the controls.

Yep that is even worst, camping when they run BBQ.
Not to defend camping (fully agree its a valid yet scummy strat) but to put a "point" on the BBQ thing, most of the time you won't get an aura from BBQ because everyone is either within 40m/hiding behind a generator or in a locker. Most people actually do run BBQ for the BP and not the aura. The aura is merely a bonus to the BP stacking.

Enough is enough, BHVR.
Make a Killer beached whale as big as 20 meters that must squirm slowly, but can eat generators. Eat enough and everyone dies.
Make a Killer Blob. Roll your jelly ass around and you dont even have to hit the person, just sort of envelope the Survivor and digest him.
Make a Killer vacuum cleaner. Special ability sucks you towards it and complains like your mother.
Make a Killer secretary. She sits at a desk in the middle of the map for BHVR HQ of people wanting refunds. Negotiate enough "No Refund" and a Survivor dies.
Make a Killer toxic fart. Literally, you're just a mass of particles of a fart where if someone is trapped long enough in it they asphyxiate and die. An actual good use for the Stridor perk, finally.
Make a Killer washed-up former Grunge band singer. He plays guitar that depresses everyone and they kill themselves if they listened too much. (Where my Alice n Chains boys, at!?)
Make a Killer generator. You hop around using your high beams and use a fail a skill check to hit the Survivor.
But whatever you do, DO NOT make another licensed killer! #LAZY! #SAD!

It's simple, to all my killer friends.
Gaurd the 3 gens in close proximity with your life. You can still get 3 or even 4 kills with out ruin.
My fav is sloppy butcher/blood hound/colorophobia/and destressing. Makes finding an injured survivor easy and forces them to waste a bunch of time healing in your TR, or they play injured which is what we want. Pop and surge also fit in nicely.
Patrol your 3 and jet out to pressure a couple more but always return to your 3. If one is being worked on but no survs around, don't be fooled, they aren't far.
Trust, once I adopted this, survivors quickly regret rushing the easy gens and are forced into the belly of the beast.
See you in the fog....
There is a reason people hate "Sniper Doc". On some maps you can literally stand still and hit all 3 gens. While this is fun I wouldn't suggest just sitting in one spot though because that is holding the game hostage.
On a side note its also one of my favorite builds for totally unrelated reasons! ^.^''

Hooks spawn 5 meters away from each other. 30% of killers run Iron Grasp for some reason. Body blocking is pointless since Mad Grit exists.
Honestly, just remove the wiggle mechanic already. It's worthless.
1: I rarely see Iron Grasp
2: I never see Mad Grit
3: If you don't wiggle you're going to basement
4: Wiggle isn't meant to be an escape option but rather so that the killer cannot (literally) hold you hostage. Sure you can sometimes escape by wiggling but it was never intended to be a viable escape option.
