Don't just bring a ebony and if they show sings of being a set mori there asses

I cant just bring an ebony every time someone has a toolbox in my lobby.

Sadly they are not as common. Also, you can bring DS every game withotu any costs because reasons.... lul

Lol dude toolbox don't mean a thing I'm a solo and I bring them in all the time to escape and not be beeped over buy greedy players (only reason I run sc) lol

But you said I should just bring a mori.
I have to decide that in the lobby, not during teh game lol

I'm so serious because apparently there was some Unwritten rules way back when there were Unwritten rules.

For instance apparently there was a rule for Killers to let the survivors go if they 4% and a rule for survivors let the other one get the hatch if they found it first which is usually just them sitting on top of it.

I'm just wondering because I'm getting some hate mail because somebody's mad because I didn't let them live for 4% percenting

You will alwasy get hatemail if you kill survivors. But dont do the mistake of giving them afree escape, they dont like that either

Because I finished the Trapper as a Killer but I don't have Leatherface :(

I recommend trying a whispers build on trapper. You can run it with a hex totem like devour or ruin and try to guard the totem to some extent.

If you watch some videos, they'll hit the check but since the Killer is in the middle of an animation, it gets overwritten and the DS is used up, but did not activate. It's a cheap way to cheat the system in the Killer's favor, because they're not able to catch a survivor once they've been dropped.

That used to be the only counter to DS, but that got patched out

From what I’ve seen killers seem to pick up ds users and hit something or swing their weapons is it some kind of counter play to ds because the ds users that I’ve seen still hit the skill checks even tho they do this? I don’t understand lmao

Just a desperate attempt trying to confuse the survivor such taht they hit their skillcheck.
Sadly there is no counter to DS so......

The biggest hope we have is that DCing will finally be punished when dedicated servers arrive

15 survivors with 3 perks each = 45 different perks
    14 non-specific survivor perks = 14 different perks
------------------------------------------------ = 59 different survivor perks in total.
    x 3 tiers
--------------------------- = 175 levels in total to unlock every perk at worst case scenario

(175 instead of 177 since each character starts with their 3 perks, so gets 3 perks for their 1st level)

From level 1 to 50 costs around 1,670,000 BP
Level 50 can cost around 60k.
    60,000 x 125 levels left will equal:
7,500,000 BP after the initial 1,670,000 BP

175 levels cost around 9,170,000 BP to max a character and get every perk in the WORST case scenario where you get them all by 1st tier, then 2nd tier, then 3rd tier.

This is without choosing to prestige your character.

Some perks might not be viewed as desirable, and some might show up at Tier 2 or 3 automatically, reducing the levels. On top of that, you might find a way to cut off a couple thousand each level by tricking the blood web into eating large chunks of itself each time.

What do you all think? I thought this would be interesting to do, so I tried to do some quick math before work.

Now imagine being a killer and actually being forced to lvl up everyone since they are not just skins....

I partially agree and disagree because I find the killers more fun to level up then the survivors BECAUSE the survivors are just skins. The Killers have more uniqueness to them and thus it's like playing different game modes with each one. The only killers I don't like playing are The Hillbilly and The Cannibal, but I think it's because their powers are so similar even if they do have a tweak to them.

True, I only bothered P3ing one survivor. Also killers are addond dependent, so I spend way more BP on them as on survivors

  • Are you willing to wait 20x longer aswell?

  • Nurse is the only killer that actually makes you feel like playing the powerrole in a horror game.'Of course it will be quite irritating to play other killers that can be bullied by survivors after only playing nurse....

I dont understand the design philosophy of having unviable killers, but I guess thats up to BHVR.

So what if Survivors had those Lanterns from the Lunar event and they had a perk that was powerful and destroying the Lantern completely disabled their perk? The Survivor would not need to be hooked to destroy the lantern because we ALL SAW how imbalanbced that was, the Killer just finds it and breaks it like that, bam.

I'm just putting this out there because we Killers have breakable perks and Survivors get to keep all of their crutches with very few counters while Killers have powerful perks with 1 HUGE counter that completely nullifies it instead of weakening it. Just screw with the Survivor system and see them complain about the game being fair all of a sudden. This sounds serious but i'm saying it jokingly.

Nah destroyable perks? Not on the survivor side....

I get that IRL but the game doesn't depict this animation at all and usually, the killer is too far anyway. It's like the Huntress' hatchets, those hit despite flying by your head and way off target. I guess it's just the game.

I get the feeling console survivorss would not be fans of PC nurses in their games :chuffed:

There are a few things that would need to be streamlined between each version on the backend that would potentially decrease the quality of some aspects of the game, especially in regards to the framerate.

Console players claim all the time that their platform is as competitive as PC, so lets throw them together in the same pool

  • Ingame voice comms with proper balancing

  • Please no perks as bandaid fix for bad map design

  • Ok let me sum up
    "Freddy is a viable killer"
" It's easy to gen rush Freddy, even tunneling is not able with Freddy"

Then he has no tools at all that help him against loopers, he has no map pressure

I dont think I need to explain the contradiction.
Poor freddy has been waiting for his buff for years now, its a shame

  • Huntress might be the worst killer when dedicated servers hit.
She isnt great now and when you dont play a projectile killer in realtime anymore.... well good luck

I used to never use flashlights since the aiming is trash on PS4 but i decided to dedicate a few matches to figuring out how to use them. After a few horrible fails, I figured out how to get killer blinds fairly consisently. When I ran out of flashlights, i went back to how i normally played the game.

Now i understand why survivors who bring flashlights bring them all the time. Its not even a survival thing though. A successful blind on buys a few seconds, and not much more than just running away when they break a pallet instead of blinding them. However, the satisfaction of healing yourself with a medkit or repairing a gen slightly faster is just simply insignificant compared to the grand sense of achievement one gets from staring their enemy straight in the eyes and shining a flashlight right in their [BAD WORD] face. Its just psychology.

    Sincerely,
A survivor who doesnt want to be toxic but just wants to have a good time before getting impaled through the chest with a giant sacrificial hook.

Just dont complain about receiving the corresponding killer reaction or about lobby dodges

  • I hope for a viable killer.

I am ready for disapointment though

  • I want the stuff from the 2018 roadmap first please

  • ######### happens if you force players into a competitive matchmaking, but the game itself doesnt reward ranking up at all.

  • The last cheater I encountered was early 2018. It's the least problem the game has right now
  • No, that can be abused by swf (assuming rank will mean sth one day)

If a Killer is botting (doing nothing but M1) or AFK, it is bannable to farm points via Killer interaction - such as by running in front to trigger a chase and farm Boldness, or take hits or heal for Altruism and Survival. You’ll only risk being banned if you’re reported under Unsportsmanlike Behaviour (I think) and/or video evidence is provided, assuming you are botting or farming with the bot.
However, if you just do the generators and leave, you’re fine. If you get in a game with an idling or botting Killer, don’t interact with the Killer at all, just complete generators and go. You won’t get banned for doing your objective and leaving immediately.

Regarding disconnections though, you don’t get punished for disconnections unless you do it too much, and the bans come in waves and hit many people at the same time. One or two disconnections here or there won’t get you punished, but if you disconnect nearly every game you play, you will be hit by the next ban wave.
Being afk is not bannable, however bottling is even if each doesn't detect it (same for struggle macros)

At least that's what I've been told by mods. If that had changed, then I will need official confirmation. (Guess you need to derank cx DCing if you get banned for afking lul)
Being AFK one or two games is not bannable, nor is going AFK mid-game like a pseudo-ragequit or something, but if you go into multiple games in a row and leave it alone, your account will rack up AFK reports and once the appropriate authorities of the game check it and realise ‘yeah this guy’s actually doing what the reports say’, you will get sanctioned.
Where did they say this? Because last time I asked this was fine to do. If that is not the case, then you need to derank by DCing apparently

@Judgement: how come it’s ok for the killer to bot, but not for the survivor to interact? I would have thought neither would be allowed, probably there is some reason I don’t realize?

Killer botting is literally not even playing the game - they are using a program outside of the game to basically play it for them and farm points with Survivors. It is NOT okay for Killers to bot, this is PERMANENTLY BANNABLE behaviour.
It’s illegal for Survivors to farm with the bot as well because of what the Killer is doing.
You misunderstood me, boring is bannable, there is no doubt but eac doesn't detect it.
Btw it is not bannable for the survivor to farm with the bot, farming is allowed unless it is forced farming.

Being straight up afk (without bots) is not bannable however
  • Quick, remove the general section. Someone is abusing it by botting
  • where hex ruin is.

Hmmm let’s walk over there at the beginning of the match every time.
We'll since survivors always spawn on top of it I need to head right after spawn foe it if I want to trap it. And even then, on the larger maps I might not even make it in time... such a beautiful design

Maybe for a Master it takes 3 minutes.

I sometimes have problems even finding the generators.
They always spawn in the same patterns. Take the afk match as time to get better and memorize the locations for the real matches.

  • Gamzello said:
Okay 2 different examples. Is this a bug or an intended game mechanic? I’ve already been playing this game for about 6 months now so I understand you literally have to do things perfectly if you want it to work. But...

    Saving someone by pallet:
I’ve had this happen multiple times where the killer had already picked someone up (not during animation) and I dropped the pallet. It says that I’ve stunned them but they didn’t work at all! (They weren’t stunned basically so the survivor wasn’t saved).

I always try to help out my teammates when I can and honestly it sucks that it didn’t work.

    2. Flashlight saves:
I never use flashlights. I never spam-click them, and I always ignore them whenever I get them in chests. My aim kinda sucks actually but yeah. I always give it away to someone else in case they wanted it.

So this actually happened yesterday against this Spirit and basically it was the same thing. They had picked someone up already and I did it during the animation (not immediately but when they’re already over the shoulder) and it said did the same thing as the pallet save basically.

It said below that I “blinded” the killer yet the killer still had the survivor in their hand. I got this yellow flashlight with no add ons from a chest. I remember seeing the Spirit attack while it said she was blinded in an attempt to attack someone for blinding them (guess they thought I was close?) but still man.

That really sucks and it makes me feel like a bad teammate because I literally feel like I wasted a pallet or time to get away if I couldn’t even save them from the hook. I’ve had many teammates (friends & randoms) die because of this possible bug or intended game mechanic.

So is it a bug or not? Or do I really have to get it perfectly timed for this game to actually make it go through?
You will always get the points from stunning or blinding, but in order to free the survivor you also need the right timing.

I assume you don't know the timing since other survivors still manage to free each other via stuns or blinds
  • Just pick the perk if you want it's effect? Lul
  • You won't get banned unless you do it really often.

However conside ring that it doesnt even  take 3 minutes to knock out all gens, I don't see a reason to dc unless you are being hold hostage by an afk killer
  • It serves no game purpose, it solely is for bm, so yes it is toxic

Tbh I feel conflicted. On one hand, I feel really bad for survivors who didn’t go out of their way to screw me being screwed by dcs and rage quitters and I try to give mercy. But I also want bp, and if 2 people already quit I feel like I have to make the most of it too.

If I get the feeling though they’re swf and I start getting dcs NO MERCY ONLY MURDER. I will still laugh I made some pathetic losers bruise their egos, but yeah, you’re not leaving until I get my blood money jerks.

But solos? People just wanting to play? I feel bad for them, and I feel torn between showing mercy but then also feeling obligated to show mercy and give up bp.

I used to show mercy but then I had a double dc (I think cus of doc) and I let one of them get the hatch, killed the other one.
Then they blamed me afterwards that I didn't let them farm enough.
