Actually I would need to turn UP brightness when playing normally due to the darkness of the maps and the dark skins.
If I tune down brightness now (not sure if it affects a completely white flashing screen anyway), then I cant see in teh rest of the game.
But devs already gave us an option to deal with it, its called "leave lobby"

You cant build a game for P2P and dedicated servers at the same time, why should you do that?
Also DBD is coded in spaghetti code, we will never get dedicated servers tbh.But yeah, I agree with the general idea

Slugging was the only option that a couple of killers could choose to slow down the game.
If it gets nerfed without nerfing gen rush and having average/long matches, a lot of good killers will give up playing the game because being able to slug was one of the few skills that decided whether a killer is good or not.
I dare to say that slugging is the only thing you can do atm to slow down the game. Everything else can be countered with ease by somehow competent survivors, and they dont even have to be SWF.
You could kinda consider NOED as counter to genrush, but it doesnt slow down the game

Thats a console bug.
Actually survivors get 5k for escaping if a killer DCs.
The killer gets 2,5k bp in TOTAL if all survivors DC and lose their stuff while survivors keep their items. -
Its not glitched.
Devs decided to make the game more beginner friendly and allow players not to depip below rank 15. This means that almsot nobody plays below that rank and queue times for beginners are insane
And on PTB, queue times are always insanely high as killer if theres a new killer

Because devs take their time with reworks. Usually they introduce bandaid fixes like bloodlust or that new hex perk instead of tackling the actual problem because of their spaghetti code. And if they decide to do an actual rework, like in the case of freddy, then its taking ages

Yesterday there were some knee-jerk reactions to seeing yet another second chance perk for survivors. Those died away pretty quickly though (now the only people who talk about it are survivors when they want to deflect away from real issues). In theory I like the perk but, ultimately, it will just lead to some killers sitting on someone at least till they enter phase 2 of the sacrifice.

Not saying the Spirit is better. Not being able to see survivors is a big trade off for the other benefits. Plus a skilled Nurse is great at knowing where a teleport will take her. And I'm not sure of the difference in distance traveled between the two (both with and without add ons).
Also there aren't many/any skilled Spirits yet so it's hard to really judge the two.
Spirit cant even see blood unless she uses an ultra rare addon. on PTB you only see it due to a bug

It definitely works, the question is whether its worth to scarifice a perk slot for that.
The most useful build on PTB currently is to make blood more visible, but then you have to realize that you only see the blood right now due to a bug and you are actually supposed to need an ultra rare addon to see blood in phase walk.
