The ability to move through closets like the second Matrix movie I think would be awesome for him. Let him "trap" closets to be able to walk through and the traps last a certain amount of time. If a survivor climbs into a trapped one, he can teleport to it through another closet and throw them to the ground in the dying state.

Fun fact that Hybrid Panda found a while back: stalking as Myers won't break Insidious so catching people unawares could potentially be quite fun with that
-
Honestly Stridor might potentially be more useful so that way you can actually hear stuff while everything is invisible to you.
-
Cult of Dwight: A lethal infection that needs to be cleansed. The TRUE purpose of the killers.
-
RBTs will be getting quite a bit deadlier with the next patch as they finally fixed the 7 month long bug of the Gear add-ons not properly applying their debuff. But yes as people said, odds are you're probably not going to get kills with them unless it's on a big map and/or you're running Tampered Timer in addition to.
-
Honestly I've not REALLY compared Spirit to Nurse. She's more akin to an odd love child between Hag, Wraith, and Pig. My issue I've had with her is that her positives really don't justify all the negatives she has when compared to the three she's most similiar to. Honestly the three listed above in my comment are vastly superior to her, especially Wraith due to the most recent patch.
But back on topic. I play a bit of survivor in addition to killer. I've seen plain as day the massive difference in someone that has decent skill with the two killers you mentioned and people who have mastered them. Against true blue masters of those killers the best you can hope to do is get two generators done and find the hatch before they do because either only one of you is getting out or none of you are. -
while I HATE to join the "git gud" group, sadly, under this scenario I must agree. Even with a fast saw it is quite easy to have a chance at dodging the saw. If he charges straight forward, move left or right. If you're in close range, it's a gamble. You need to pay attention to how the killer plays and not just run away with your camera facing away from the killer.
This is on par with people who call for nerfs on Huntress due to her ranged attacks and they just run in a straight line away from her.

Wasn't a myth. Rank 2 Agitation was giving the movement speed upgrade for the rest of a round after the requirements to turn it on were met. Don't know if it's still the case though. Same was true about Rank 2 Bitter Murmur and Rank 2 Tinkerer.

While it's not been a problem for me much until recently I have noticed more and more frequently survivors DCing to counter certain aspects of what a killer can do.
For instance an Obession dcing to remove the possibility of Remember Me stacks or Save the Best for Last.
At the end of a game as I'm taking a survivor to the hook, the gates open and the survivor DC's to counter the possibility of Blood Warden.
I've just dropped the second to last survivor, leaving them slugged to attempt for a 4k and they DC instantly to give their teammate hatch.
Is their any way to penalize this or to have certain killer perks still activate even though the triggering factor dced? -
Listing to the Q&A today I think the potential change to totem height will help a LOT with the issue. Totems can already be rough to find in certain tall grasses. Add to that that the totems will be potentially more akin to that of a skull resting on the ground or barely raised above it, and I feel like totems will be lasting MUCH longer. They also mentioned adding an algorithm to make it so survivors and hex totems won't spawn next to each other so that'll help too if they decide to do it.

When the PTB turns into the live patch, also don't forget about the Crate of Gears. Currently, it does jack squat. Not really worth the time or investment. I mean literally it does nothing. Stacking both gear add-ons has been proving quite nail biting for survivors I've been going against who've been ignoring the RBT's in the past, now feeling as though they are a threat. Also Tampered Timer with Crate of Gears scored me a 3k with strictly RBT's.
Biggest thing with them, try and spread them out and not spam them at all once. Think of the RBT's as a quasi Hex Totem that removes a survivor from the main objectives for a time with the potential to kill. Game Over kills don't happen often, so don't be disheartened when the survivors get their new set of braces off. Map size, luck, and spawn locations of the boxes will determine how long the trapped survivor is out of play.
Perk combo that I've been using is Save the Best for Last, Hex: Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Overcharge. At lower ranks Overcharge is very useful, but as you get higher and higher you'll find it's usefulness dwindle off as the higher rank people can more or less hit it with their eyes closed. With the release of The Spirit, I might recommend swapping it with the new Hex: Haunted Ground as a means to keep Ruin protected and to give yourself an added level of threat by causing all the survivors to become Exposed once the trap totem is broken.

I think I have like 11 or more on my Wraith? I don't really use them though because two out of the three original moris REALLY need a rework when compared to the stuff going on now...
-
I loved me some Pig. Honestly the escaping through hatch isn't an issue to me since I'm usually fairly lucky at tracking it down before the other survivors do. Under end game circumstances your best bet is to literally crouch on hatch and wait. The number of survivors that would rather waste time trying to shove you off while their timer ticks down instead of attempting to take the trap off themselves is ridiculous.
-
If you're the one hooked, do nothing and struggle as long as you can, praying your teammates don't come rescue you.
If someone else is hooked, just work on generators. -
I'll see if I can't track it down but someone posted on a Discord I'm a part of the image of a lit hex totem inside a locker lol
-
I agree with the "raw deal" comment. I've sadly lost track of the number of times, particularly as of late, where while chasing two survivors side by side, they'll try and go through a pallet drop and the first one through drops the pallet blocking the second. Someone that's had to deal with that sort of BS or other such fellow survivor drama I'll probably hand hatch over to.

While I LOVE Piggy, I do have a couple problems with some of her mechanics (which I have stated in more then one of these posts).
The fact that all the add-ons the effect the search time for Jigsaw Boxes or skill checks are useless. Same with ones that debilitate one with the RBT with afflictions. All totaled over half of her add-ons have no real effect on her gameplay.
Also I feel like her Ambush charge should function more akin to Wraith's new coming out of cloak, with a delay on the sound of the charge building.
My final issue stems from the fact the boxes themselves can spawn right next to each other. Now a couple here and there aren't that bad, but when all but one of them spawn next to each other on Wrecker's Yard, there's an issue lol. -
Also listen to the footsteps. Nine times out of ten if I hear footsteps behind me while I'm hooking someone and do a 180° spin attack, I'll land a hit on someone.
-
That could be. I do know I can be annoying to find from time to time too.
To paraphrase a friend of mine in a KYF match: "How the HELL do I keep losing you?! You're a frigging highlighter!" -
Got yelled at by a SWF group because they ran into the basement against a Leatherface and I just stayed on my generator, popped the second gen, and waited for hatch while the Christmas tree died >_<
My response was "Guys I get it sucked, but I watched him stay like within visible distance of patrol of the killer shack. Wasn't giving him the 4k."
But I guess blind altruism is what's supposed to happen because the three of them apparently reported me for teaming with the killer =P -
Yeah got a list of survivors that the moment I see them join my lobby I go from polite fun build killer to brutal blood thirsting killer. I'll still not go tunnel or camp, but against people like those I can't pull punches.
One person in particular is on the list for the whole bming and such. Kicker is that they're one of those people that would rather dc then be hooked. So the moment you drop them, they leave the match. -
Had a guy join my lobby and auto-lock at about 1.1k ping. I could not hit that bastard for anything. Calling it a Nurse Blink is more then accurate. It was borderline Hag Teleport in terms of distance moved.
-
Also... As horrible as this is going to sound... Try and make use of the yellow cork and VHS Porn to get used to throwing bottles at survivors. The faster speed and reload time helps a lot in not losing people.
Don't underestimate open windows either. There are TONS of open windows with generators on the other side so feel free to lob a couple in to throw at people. Killer shack also has a skylight you can throw through if you're feeling confident. -
But when you WANT ONE to wake up from Freddy you go through the whole damn gen without ever receiving one...
-
Honestly the only real issue I've been having with SB and the other exhaustion abilities as of late is a discrepancy in latency. That is to say my hit box, since the exhaustion change, has an initial issue of keeping up with me. I've noticed this with Balanced landing as well. Killer is 2-3 meters behind you when you started the ability and you still get hit.
-
What rank are you? Sadly an unfortunate side effect of the "never dropping below rank 15" thing is that newer players have massively longer que times since people who have been playing the game longer are no longer being dropped to the lower ranks during rank reset.
-
Each time he hooks you "If you don't like it, maybe you should play a different game."

Been saying this for a while and no one seemed to believe me lol. While I'm not glad it's happening to other people I am grateful it's being recognized.
I've had survivors run through pallet drop areas and vault through trapped windows, doing so without getting caught in a trap that is smack dab in the middle of it.
I really hope this enough for BHVR to take notice. -

While it doesn't seem like much, it does stack well with Brutal Strength as well. While people say due to math it doesn't provide much, being on the receiving end of an empowered Brutal Strength as the killer essentially feeds that pallet through a woodchipper is damn terrifying.
-
Not going to lie I'm a malicious SoB... When it comes down to games where multiple people dc and the killer continues to go ham, or games where everyone's basically dead before we get enough generators done for hatch, I just make the killer's life as much hell as I can before I die. I'm of the mindset of yes, you're probably going to kill me, but god as my witness, I'm going to make you frigging earn it lol. Generally it's only during these times I'm at my most toxic as a survivor.
-
Eh maybe I'm too nice of a killer main then. I've got a set of rules I follow and govern myself by that I do my best to adhere to. The idea of strictly focus down one person and ignoring everything else seems not only moronic but exceptionally toxic.
-
@Spiritbx I'm meaning like the killer is across the map and comes back, specifically to take down the person recently unhooked, ignoring everyone else and all other objectives. I'm talking pitch black train tunnel levels of tunneling.
-
@azazer In all legit honesty it doesn't really work that great. I had the same idea and unless you specifically get a small map, you're not going to hinder people much.
All the add-ons that affect Macabre Box search time or skill checks are worthless. -
I'll toss people by the hatch from time to time. Depends on their behavior in the match and such.
Flashlight clickers, however, get hooked NEXT to the hatch as opposed to being dropped on it though. -
I will state the only "toxicity" I generally display in matches is burying farmers. I drop the person that they just rescued to beat down his altruism emblem and then put chase to the jackass, allowing the teammates to heal up the farmed person.
-
If it weren't for the fact of my massive framerate dip when I play hunter in the opening lobby I'd love to.
-
@Killigma allow me to rephrase myself lol.
A Doctor that plays an offering for The Game with massive terror radius and increased static, along side small skill checks and other such stuff and does nothing but stay in treatment the entire time, without hooking anyone. -
Examples of Toxic Killers:
Massive TR Doctors on The Game map.
Doctors that do nothing but shock and refuse to melee.
Full on face campers 2 minutes into the game.
Chugga chugga choo choo tunnel killers.
Killers who dc the moment they see what offerings were tossed up or just dc the moment the round starts in general. -
1) BHVR knows about it and have been working on it. Supposedly it is fixed.
2) Camping is countered when survivors leave their hooked teammates alone and complete objectives. It sucks to be the guy on the hook but it's the best option.
3) For the love of god learn to type. "Plz" does not make you cool.... -
1.) Yeah that works.
2.) I don't think this is that great since it could be TOO overpowered but perhaps activate the timer on the trap when the trapped survivor is rescued off the hook, or on generator pop if they managed to struggle free from the Pig's grasp.
3.) The ONLY way this could work is if it was ong a long timer similar to that of The Trapper's traps when they get sabotaged. Even then it might need to be longer.
4.) It's all about the map and the approach but I feel the best change for this is make it so you don't make a noise until the charge is activated, similar to how the changes when you hear the Wraith's bell now.
A 5th thought.) Change the add-ons that effect the macabre boxes in such a way that it makes them worthwhile to use because honestly pretty much all the green ones and half the purple ones suck. -
I... I... Did you HONESTLY think you DISCOVERED last second flashlight swapping? You HONESTLY can not be serious right now... and if you are I'll see you in a few hundred hours of play time....
-
@Esheon Yeah it's an idea I've had for a while now. One of those "so simple no one thought about it as a possibility" kinda things.
That being said I've had lobbies where I've seen at 6 seconds a survivor change skins to full blood and a purple odd bulb flashlight but I feel as though that's a macro which I believe isn't allowed. -
Honestly don't worry about it. They get so many claims of hackers both legit and not on a regular basis that literally no one gets banned.
-
Honestly it really doesn't need that much of a buff. You're sacrificing traps for aura reading in ambush mode. Honestly when I play it the only time I don't get a 4k is due to the person I'm chasing rounding a corner and being damn lucky in finding hatch.
-
A simple way to fix last second swaps: unequip all items and add-ons each time a survivor swaps to a new character.
-
2 farm matches and the rest were flashlight swapping pricks, a multitude of body blockers, full d-strike squads, and Sabo Teams. Not really be fun.
-
The one and only thing I enjoy about toxic players are the fact that they are more likely to get cocky and screw up if you ignore them.
Most recent example was a hatch standoff where the injured survivor was teabagging on top of the hatch at it's edge. I smacked him and he literally fell off of the hatch to the ground.
It's little things like that that make putting up with behavior like this worthwhile. This and watching a group of teabagging flashlighters slide against a Bloodwarden wall as you round the corner as an EW3 Myers lol. -
I don't mind anything in the yellow so as long as it's not constantly fluctuating.
