@Nokillerinozone Oh I wish there were a LOL button still... Unless you're brand new to this game, Legion is at levels below even Freddy. The newest low tier isn't F, it's L.
-
I can understand Mending being this speed for Borrowed Time. That being said, Legion by default, should make it take longer since it's their mechanic.
-
All they have to do is counter the EXACT same way high ranking survivors do with Pig's RBTs: pop into view for a moment and then get in a "chase."
There also seems to be an issue with blood lately of just vanishing for no apparent reason. I'm not meaning it's been the proper length of time. I mean literally POOF Dance With Me levels of gone. -
Freddy, even with the new locker nerf, is superior to Legion... This is possibly the most pathetic thing I've played as to date. I didn't even play Legion on the PTB, all my info was from casual observation and they're even worse than I had been led to believe.
Default Frenzy length is pathetic. Any length of T-Wall will cause the sprint to end before you can land a hit if the killer didn't bring anything to increase the speed or duration of the frenzy.
I'll be 100% honest, even as Legion is right now, full normal application of Exposed status to occur while the killer is Frenzied wouldn't be enough to fix this. That's right: being able to tag a four man team instantly with NOED could not fix this killer as they are now. -
Not to be rude but:
Every new person to the forums: Hi! I'm new to the game with under 20 hours but I feel that...

Actually on the subject of the Civil War, I was thinking maybe the prison at Andersonville.

The stuff that went on there I'm sure The Entity would find endearing. -
I would respectfully argue that the League of Legends community is fathoms more toxic than anything we could ever dream of being lmfao.Tsulan said:I´d say that we all agree, that we have the most toxic community.

Suvivor:
Iron Will, Urban, Spine Chill, and Stakeout is my go to setup.
Killer:
Bloodwarden and the new Tinkerer.
I always manage to catch people out with the Myers due to Bloodwarden. No one ever sees it coming.
Tinkerer is just so much fun as Cannibal to come up to a gen and have a saw almost completely ready to go. Jumpscare chainsaw ^_^ -
@White_Owl ....yes... while posing as a survivor...
-
@White_Owl that's fine and I agree Doctor is shown improperly as well as I posted in my description of every killer trailer to date, however he's basically the only one before Legion to have done so. All the other killers, save Hag and Freddy, openly displayed at least one part of their kit, while the two aforementioned merely attack the camera.
It's something BHVR has done since the beginning so it's safe to believe that those going in blind or those taking interest in the game that are new, having heard the prospects of dedicated servers, would see the trailer and believe that Legion can hide amongst the survivor ranks. -
Got roasted by a team on a farm map as Huntress (really need to practice my hatchet throwing.) The four of them had found the hatch with a key and were on their way out. The last cocky prick, the obsession, waited for me to approach and attempted to t-bag me as I got closer. This person had been a thorn in my side all match. They then tried to jump in and I successfully grabbed them, dribbling them to the shack hook for them to DC on hook. I then received the "Where did they go?" achievement. The obsession's teammates were literally dying in endgame lobby from laughter.
And that's what they call taking a frown and turning it upside down ^_^ -
Hit boxes go both ways. As a survivor I've wondered how the hell something hit me, and as a killer (specifically Hillbilly) I've bounced off of people and not had a successful hit.
-
Intial release trailer: Dwight in a bear trap. We know what Trapper does.
Wraith Trailer: we see him cloak, uncloak and attack. We know what he does.
Hillbilly: revs up a saw and downs Meg in one hit. We know what he does.
Nurse: We see her blink around and down Nea
Halloween: we see Lori try and hide but not realize Myers is right there until it's too late.
Of Flesh and Mud: we see the hag crouched over the dirt, doing something and she attacks the camera. Doesn't show what she does but doesn't mislead either.
Doctor DLC: Pops over generator to scare Feng. Doctor is capable of doing this but not really his thing. Kinda mixed, but punishment mode can do that.
Lullaby dlc: we hear huntress humming and then throw a hatchet.
Leatherface: he revs up his saw. Do we need further explanation?
Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy walks to camera and attacks. We hear his song. Not much but like Hag doesn't mislead.
Saw: Dwight has a RBT on his head that starts after Tapp starts a generator. Pig is seen behind watching the trap kill Dwight.
Clown DLC: we see Clown mixing chemicals together and fill up bottles with them. He picks up his keyring of fingers and leaves. Safe to assume he does something with the bottles.
Spirit DLC: We see a man pull a sword on a woman and hear him hack her to bits with the sword. Could assume that the killer is the man, but the download displays the woman in her hacked up state. Kinda mixed message but is telling a story of her origin.
Legion DLC: Legion, posing as a survivor, flees alongside David. As they both hide, David looks to see of the coast is clear, and when he turns back, Legion displays their true colors and kills David. Potentially showing that Legion can pretend to be a survivor and hide amongst their ranks. -
The problem is that I've had a bunch of people that are going in blind that I've had to explain to them that what they saw in the trailer was not what was on the PTB.
Yes it is great to have things for cinematic purposes. At the point where people are not wanting to spoil themselves by looking at patch notes or watching content creators all believe that what they saw in the trailer is what the killer is going to be, there's an issue. Telling people, "just watch content creators" is not an answer. These people wanted to be surprised, and they believe what they see in a trailer is the developers showcasing that surprise as opposed to assorted people online spoiling it.
That is what a trailer is meant to do: show in a cinematic way how it is that that a character or class functions. A better way would have been to show David running for his life, bleeding from hundreds of little cuts and stabs, just barely hanging on. Then Legion vaults through a window from above, landing on David and stabbing him over and over again. It shows Legion vaulting through windows, which is what they do, and that Legion is about causing as much pain and suffering on a person as possible before they die.
Don't get me wrong, I love the trailer. I think it's great. It just does not show what Legion is about properly and as such is promising mechanics to newer players that do not exist. -
Stake Out. I have fallen in love with this thing and honestly don't mind when Ruin is active that my allies are looping near me while I'm on gen lol
-
You know how you can tell when survivors let go of their computer equipment such as keyboard, mouse, etc. out of fear when you jumpscare Myers them? I get that a lot with this build lol
-
@HatCreature I make good use of it for Ambush Bubbah. M&A, Bitter Murmur, Ruin, and Tinkerer. Nothing like no terror radius and then suddenly a Leatherface with a screaming saw in your face.
-
I'm excited for the engine changes. I've got an older machine and things seemed to run smoother and look much better. I do hope they fix all the unnecessary lens flare effects though.
New survivor is interesting. The fusion dance of Bond and Empathy is nifty. I foresee Deliverence and Break Down being annoying.
Legion is a mixed bag for me. On the surface, very cool concept, poorly executed. If the devs are willing to listen like they did with Spirit, I foresee Legion doing well, but not until after multiple patches.
Deep Wounds should have been a status restricted to Legion, just like Doctor has Madness, and should not have been integrated with Borrowed Time. I feel as though it's a massive mistake to do otherwise. -
I've had prestiged bloodwebs that have netted me squat and I've had non-prestiged bloodwebs that have netted me some of the most broken add-ons in existence in mass numbers lol
-
@Dragonredking sadly I have a friend that has somehow managed to go into this chapter fully blind. They have managed to stay away from the vast majority of social media pertaining to the PTB, and I had to be the poor bastard to explain to them after they saw the trailer and were VERY excited, "what you see in the trailer was not what was on the PTB."
-
-sighs- and a response on Twitter from one of the devs confirms it was just a pipe dream. Oh well... It was fun to think "well maybe..." while it lasted.
What we got on the PTB and what's posted for updates is what Legion is going to be. Nothing more. Nothing less. -
Probably quite a few people at lower ranks. Not too many at higher.
-
Has happened to me more than once lol...The_Crusader said:Yeah they jump to conclusions way too quick. But it's like how when you find someone in that locker due to aura reading and after the game they call you a hacker. -
I should also add: not all of us can afford top of the line internet and/or computers. If you get in my killer lobby, there is a very real chance I might occasionally spike in latency slightly from time to time. Doesn't happen often but it can happen.
Remember: your ping in a lobby is not my machine under stress of the match. As such your ping is probably going to be higher in game. -
A big problem for Pig as well is that her add-ons kinda suck, specifically the ones meant to effect Jigsaw boxes. Another issue is the fact that the box that will set you free is decided the moment the RBT is placed on your head.
A way I'd tweek the add-ons is make them seem more machine driven for the box add-ons. That is to say take the add-on that gives survivors more skill checks on boxes and have it so it can occasionally have the skill check needle spin the other way. Have it so the correct box is not chosen right away. Have it literally be a roll of the dice. Amanda makes unfair games, so have her add-ons effect the probability that this Jigsaw box will give the key or not. In turn, have luck offerings played by survivors counter this by a limited margin.
For the perk Surveillance, have it so at rank 3 the Pig can kick up to three generators. Each generator will alert the killer that a survivor has touched the generator the moment it happens with the alert bubble and a momentary Rancor like effect, revealing momentarily the survivor that touched it and not alerting said survivor. This lasts until the generator is touched and must be reapplied. Each rank of the perk will allow an additional application of the perk. So one for 1, two for 2, and three for 3. -
40% Haunted Ground, 20% Thrill, 20% Ruin, 20% Whatever else you want to run. So a full 60% chance to break a totem that provides no aid to the survivors ^_^Rebel_Raven said:I was thinking of a build, but I'm nowhere near having the setup.
And Monto actually made some loadouts similar to it, and called it Russian Roulette which is fitting.
Ruin (to slow the game down just a little bit), Thrill of the hunt, devour hope, and Haunted grounds.
With some variations to taste.
All hexes.
I'd love to know how it works for others while I pray to RNGeebus. -
With all due respect and my humble opinion, Pig is SO much better than Wraith. Add-ons not withstanding, Pig has actual control of generators and survivors with RBT's, is not slowed to hell in a handbasket when coming out of her stealth mode in order to attack, and can actual attack from said stealth mode.
Going into add-ons, they add potential for even more control on the Pig's side over Wraith.
I'm not saying Wraith is BAD, I'm merely saying that Pig is a lot better. -
All. The. God. Damned. Time...
Bring an Ebony Mori. End game chat from survivors: why didn't you mori anyone?
Me: Oh god damnit... -
Depends on the situation for me. If I spot a hook fairly close but the survivor could potentially get a d-strike off I'll dribble once, maybe twice. Otherwise though I just try and position myself for the survivor to fall a decent distance and recover from the landing after using d-strike. My favorite point being at the top of the double stairs in the main building of the Grim Pantry.
-
If you want to talk about camo a P3 Ace is damned near invisible on both swamp maps, and anywhere that's dark and up against brick or dark stone. In terms of full cammo, so as long as he's not facing the killer and/or holding anything, he's almost a Claudette. Otherwise, his hands and face give him away.
Seriously though, a full blood Ace is so damned hard to see at a fast glance if they're doing it right. -
Grace Under Fire: The more stressful your situation, the more efficient and calm you work.
All heals and generator repairs are done X% faster while inside the killer's terror radius. -
Pig: Interlocking Razor
This should be a powerful as hell add-on. But it's not. And it's not because virtually EVERY add-on that affects Jigsaw boxes all are terrible. -
Blind corners are another good spot to put traps. Everyone expects the trap outside the window of killer shack. Not everyone expects one out the back door and to the right.
-
Anyone that tunnels RBT wearers is doing it wrong. Plain and simple. Pig combats Gen Rush by literally removing Survivors from working on generators.
Now OBVIOUSLY if I'm chasing someone and I happened to go by someone working on a Jigsaw box, yes I am going to break off the one I'm chasing and hinder the progress of the one trying to save themselves. That's not tunneling though, that's continuing the removal of Survivors from the main objective. It's the same as slugging, trapping, and hooking someone. Time survivors spend not working on generators is time well spent by the killer.
I've said it multiple times, RBT's are basically hex perks that remove survivors from play ala MTG style. Yes they have the potential to come back into play but they also have the potential to stay gone.
To all you new Pig players, try not to hook survivors near Jigsaw boxes, and don't blow through all your RBT right out of the gate.
-
@azazer it's been a problem throughout the event. Survivors are restricted during matches of only being able to collect until their vials are full but killers can hook well past a full vial and reap the rewards in their entirety.
I mean I'm a killer main and I feel this isn't ok lol. I don't want my hooks broken but at the same time it's not fair that survivors, who already in many cases have difficulty getting as much B.P. as killers, should fall back even farther. I think I ended one match recently having accumulated 175k bloodpoints on one of my killers after a match completed. -
Gotta be Last Will on Pig. I NEVER see anyone else use it but who doesn't want one more RBT?
-
Thank you, @Fibijean , that is exactly what I was trying to convey. Sorry if I didn't word it right. I have an issue with knowing what I want to say but do so in a very convoluted fashion.
-
It has every reason to do with it because the reasoning wasn't for inclusiveness but because they wanted their fanfic to be real. Generally speaking these fanfics usually are sexual in nature so they were hoping their fantasies would be real not that they wanted the game to include people of different races, religious beliefs, or preferences.
To that end wanting someone to be a lesbian so someone's smutty fanfic can be real is the exact same thing as wanting bigger boobs with jiggle physics. -
This is right up there with the stupidity levels of someone wanting the sexual preference of characters made publicly known because they wanted to know if their Nea fanfic was potentially legit...
It adds zero to the game... And if you REALLY want your damn jiggle physics, just go into the dressing room store and shift Spirit, Clown, and Kate around. You'll get your jiggles. -
I'll stand crouched behind you and root for you if you're the last survivor trying to get your RBT off lol.
-
0_o kinda missing the point of the topic boys and girls.
I made it to chuckle at the rules one side or the other attempt to force upon each other. -
Or it's getting rid of it's byproducts for the next stage of it's "growth and evolution."xmenfanatic said:I assumed it was a disease that it's undergoing the expulsion of. I think this is the first sign of a weakness for the entity.
-
Honestly this is what Surveillance should have been: Kick a generator and receive an alert of if a survivor touches said generator but don't have the skill check of Overcharge or alert the survivor that the killer has been notified.
-
The only thing that truly gets under my skin are flashlight clickers and people that purposely abuse in game mechanics that aren't meant to be there. Such as locations you shouldn't be able to reach.
-
I will say that I don't think it's fair that Killers can get the extra blood points even if their vials are full but survivors cannot.
-
Furthermore all survivors have to do to keep the killer from being able to reach his event hooks is to stay on the opposite side of the map so it's entirely possible that the survivors can get all of their nectar but the Killer is left without.
-
Ok... So you state it's biased, but don't go into details of HOW...
-
The most hysterical moment I had as a killer last Halloween was the Squadette team all with those medkits. They all wore dark clothes and would have been invisible if it weren't for the neon club sign lol.
-
Enduring with Flask of Bleach. I got told by a four man all with DS that I was a toxic try-hard.
-
According to the lore stream (which is probably a better place for this topic) The Entity feeds on extreme states of emotion. In that regard it is similiar to that of a Black Lantern minus the zombies. So each time a survivor pallet slams a killer and the rage they feel, the joys of slashing a survivor apart, these are all things The Entity feeds on.
