Ace's bloody clothes make him blend in great in dark spots when you face away from stuff. Especially against dark brick areas.
-
Not going to lie I've been jump scared by an urbanly evading bloody survivor while in matches against The Pig lol.SNTD said:good, now survivors can scare other survivors
-
I've had issues on the PTB where killers have started hitting me when previously they weren't able to. Did they changed the recovery percentage?
-
From a killer main's perspective it's gotta be the dcers. Generally speaking, unless the survivor team is being a bit of egregious pricks, I'll let up a little bit on hooks until they get caught up on generators. If MULTIPLE people dc then I farm a little and let the survivors go on their merry way.
Seriously people who dc just don't give a crap about how what they do affects their team which is truly saddening. I've had MULTIPLE matches where, if that one guy had stayed, I would've been trounced. -
What is the boost on that anyways? Haven't seen a definitive % on how much it increases your chances by.
-
Specifically the DeadbyVHR one?ShrimpTwiggs said:I think you have to post it on the dev's twitter.
-
Serious question for you @HeroLives . Why do you have two topics with the same name and same opening paragraph? lol
-
Oh I understand just fine lol. What it comes down to is generator spawn placement and survivors not aware their allies are working on all the other generators nearby.
-
To be fair, if the survivors leave three gens up right next to each other there's only a few killers that can't capitalize on that. It's not JUST a Doctor thing lol. If survivors goof up the last three gens it's their own fault. Myself included have made that mistake. The new Deja Vu will help fix that so if you consistently run into this for an issue, run that.
-
Leatherface because there's a reason I refer to him as The Campibal. Yes I have run into a couple that don't face camp but they are few and far between.
-
Why did you make two of these posts? Lol
-
So this is from a survivor's PoV prior to a match starting "You all are such ######### teammates because you don't wear bloody clothes. Anyone who doesn't is GARBAGE!"
They then proceeded to DC the moment the killer dropped them (without any gens completed) and us remaining three "pieces of trash" proceeded to knock out 99.9% of all the generators before I hatch escaped. -
New England lol
-
0_o I somehow feel as though I am a minority playing rank 1 killer. All of my matches save for like one or two have been very respectful and not very try hard. People offering advice on certain things, complementing on others.
Been about the least toxic time I've had in a while playing this lol. -
Legendary is a matter of opinion. While Scream didn't do anything really new, it was a lot of peoples introduction in the 90s to the slasher genre, myself included. As such it left a large impact on people like myself. Sure Ghostface isn't Freddy but he's got just as twisted a sense of humor. He also may not be as good of a stalker as Michael Myers but he still comes out of nowhere to get the victims. He has similarities to Jason as well in that the newer versions of Jason couldn't run just as Ghostface trips over everything, but both killers somehow always manage to find their mark.
Ghostface was never designed to be an original killer. He was a homage to all the greats that came before and a continuation of their legacy.
But back on topic the phone idea is something that'd be cool. Making survivors have to interact with something or their location is revealed. -
I like the idea that he can put Hag like traps in play on lockers and either teleport through them or hide in them.
-
You can always tell when you scare someone on a keyboard when they do this weird stutter step as though their hands shifted keys quickly. Had that happen yesterday to a poor Jake that didn't realize he was walking next to my crouched Pig lol.
-
Freshly hitting rank 2 I am enjoying the challenge it's providing.
Just had the two survivors I killed in a match with sub 6.7k score at the end of the match for "Being such a trash killer."
One of the other survivors responded to them saying "He stomped you and yet he's the bad one?" -
If we wanna talk about bad totem placements check out the post I made in the Wish List because holy crap. Three totems, one of them lit, in the groaning storehouse itself... Its moronic...
-
From the Killers PoV what I see is Self Care and Sprint Burst or Dead Hard along side things like Sabotage, DS, Borrowed Time, Balanced Landing, Occasionally Urban Evasion and OoO.
I'm a killer main but that's about what I'm generally against. -
Once I know a Myers is in a map I gain a quasi tolerance to him. However hag traps always map me jump if I'm focused on something.
-
As a Pig main in rank 4 no. The traps, despite having the ability to kill, are not meant to be used for that purpose. They are meant to function like Ruin or Lullaby and slow generator progression. Making them do as you want with them active no matter what once a generator complete only slows down the person with the trap not the others.
As for black lock gotta say no on that too. If you're having that issue just pay attention to where it is and crouch on top of it. I'm dead serious when I say I have killed so many survivors because they try and shove me off the hatch while their timer ticks down.
If there were a change perhaps maybe one extra trap by default but that's honestly all I'd want. -
That and the B.S. from the Lunar Festival I would think. Still traumatized from some of the crap I had to endure from that. There's a reason Franklin's is on almost every single one of my builds...
-
Leatherface is Bubba or Campibal depending on playstyle.
Wraith is obviously Bing Bong
For whatever reason I refer to The Clown as Herbert from Family Guy. -
I've said this a few times on the forums now but I dont mind repeating myself. Initially yes I was expecting more but then I realized the true purpose of the reverse bear traps: they're not meant to kill they're meant to slow and deter. The problem a lot of people have is they attempt to blow through their traps right off and don't have anything to deter people from leaving when the exit gates happen. You've got to be slow and methodical just like Jigsaw was and how Amanda was supposed to be.
-
Lol thankfully I've got a lot of cops in my family so I'm familiar with radio lingo. The 10-88 code I thought I heard is in reference to a phone number of some sort. May not be that 10 code though. The 10-8 to central meaning he's heading back to the main station. Not sure what else to go on. I'll listen again next chance I have some peace and quiet to do so.
-
Not sure how accurate my hearing was on it. It's tricky to say the least.
-
Amush is all about approach. Even then I'm currently at a zero pip rank 4 and it's tricky. I'm generally able to get brutal killer or merciless. The only time I was outright shot stomped was against three last second BNP claudettes that played a new moon and that were a tad too organized, finding everything I had on map in moments. Can't prove hacks but it was just a little too synchronized.
But yeah I've had some hard fought battles that would've been over if it weren't for Amanda's kit. -
Let's not forget Freddy. He's got that malicious wonderful laugh when he drags people into the dream world.
-
To add to this, Bloody Coils and Oily Coils will be increasing by 1k bloodpoints in price so get them now while the getting's good.
-
If you play smart with Pig she can be decent too. The trick is to make the traps akin to Ruin totems. Just spread them out throughout the match.
-
Not an excuse. I attempted to take on one of these people survivors and didn't leave the lobby before the match started. The person in question teleported everywhere and I couldn't lay a finger on them each time I attempted to put chase.
I realize it forces survivors to have to reque but after that nuisance of a show, I'm not dealing with it again. If someone is showing a nasty ping like that and readies up, if the ping doesn't change I'm requeing. -
As I hear more I'll edit and add to it.
-
What I managed to hear in the first one:
Officer: Crotus-56 to dispatch (gibberish)
Dispatch: Copy. What do you got?
Officer: 10-8 to central. The first logs are in there. Numbers (gibberish) 6-0. Critical (gibberish) in apartment 8-4 (gibberish)
Sound file 2 appears to be a continuation of the conversation.
Dispatch: ETA (gibberish)?
Officer: 10-4 (gibberish) a 10-88 at this time... (sound like a car door open with keys in ignition. Officer potentially exited vehicle?) Hold on a minute there. Uh. Hold on just a minute.
Sound file 3. Unsure about this one. Sounded like he had been cut off at the beginning.
Officer: (gibberish) let's dismiss the (gibberish) service. I am continuing to responding.
Sound file 4. Different officer. Driving police car with lights and sirens active.
Officer 2: 5-2 is enroute to the Progmeto Farm at this (gibberish). -
My one issue with this has been I sometimes have survivors in my lobby with 600-800 ping for whatever reason and they ready up. I'm not dealing with someone that's lagging that bad so I'll leave before the match starts and try and get people with better connections. Further more, after about the fifth or sixth survivor dodge of my lobby I sometimes have difficulty getting new survivors to connect so I need to reset my lobby by leaving it.
I'm not sure if this is the issue you're referring to, just something I've had from personal experience.
Now if your meaning killers that DC because they're being facerolled I suppose that depends on the scenario. I've never dced as a killer unless it was internet issue or an irl situation occured. That being said, I've also witnessed games where the survivors refuse to leave and just insist upon being annoying twits and just keep pallet slamming and window vaulting to be as annoying as possible. I dont mind these people as they generally screw up eventually but I understand people that just dont want to deal with that sort of B.S. So if you're going to implement a punishment based on THAT it should be proxy on the length the match has gone on at time of DC.
-
For me:Spastic Flailing "Dont you frigging dare rescue me the killer is RIGHT THERE! GOD DAMN IT TAKE THAT STRAW HAT OFF! -sighs- Farmed again..."
-
I try and be polite about it as killer. However the moment I get consecutively flashlight blinded the bang gets dropped lol.
-
Balanced Landing is a good option too now that they've removed the cooldown on the high fall recovery. Mind you it still has the exhaustion cooldown so until the devs decide to change it in a different way from sprint burst you'll only get the one escape tool.
-
Oh yeah I agree. Also my thought process includes the idea that if Exposed becomes an "Injury" it would also allow you to use Dead Hard against Killers that can create that effect.
-
For now it does. The devs have stated that the idea is to keep it as is for now and odds are they'll have it changed for perks like Dead Hard, Lithe, and Balanced Landing if it's too big a nerf for them and keep the current changes exhaustion idea specifically for Sprint Burst.
-
I don't recall them saying it was a big I actually remember it being written in the patch notes as an actual thing.
-
Honestly I'm surprised they haven't included the Rob Zombie Myers costume from his first Halloween movie in this.
-

-
Be wary of Bumper Bubba though when you're running him around stuff. He will actually recover and be able to use his saw faster from a collision then if the saw runs out due to running all the way through.
-
I've started to gain a love for a Blitzkrieg Myers build. Enjoy it before the Tinkerer change. The green and yellow add-ons that increase the speed you gain evil, Tinkerer, Ruin, Blood Warden, and I BELIEVE I've been running Brutal Strength.
Playstyle? Charge up that evil and never let up. -
Honestly I do just fine as Mr. Bing Bong. I run Fired Up, Brutal Strength, BBQ, and either NOED or MYC. In all honesty the influence of the Clown has helped my build out a lot that I'll probably swap BBQ for Pop Goes.
Now as for whether or not he needs a buff oh most assuredly. I won't use the windstorm add-ons at higher rank since the slow from them beyond the yellow is just mindnumbing if you don't have the ability to come out of cloak faster. Slight tweaking of cloak and decloak speed, tweaking of windstorm, and out right changing the no TR while immobile out of stealth as well as the sound reducers for bell and I think he'll be just fine. -
Also to add to this, if you know what to look for you can still spot survivors on generators.
-
I'm a particular fan of the "graphical glitch" the nurse had ...
https://clips.twitch.tv/ObliviousBlueChamoisTheRinger -
With the change to Tinkerer coming, running a hag with that and the Heart would make things quite terrifying for survivors. Having the increased teleport range with the aura sensing ability as well would be cool I think.
-
Honestly what could've made the tournament better would have been the addition of allowing certain perks and add-ons.
For killers: No NOED, No Mori. Everything else fair game.
For Survivors: No BNP, No Keys, No DS, Everything else good to go.
Obviously this isn't a perfect idea. Mostly because I've just woken up and the coffee hasn't fully entered my own personal blood web yet (yay for bad dad joke DbD puns), but already I think that an inserting of this in the rules could've added a bit more flavor to the tournament.
-edit-
Had an added thought as well. No offerings potentially either side just to keep the map random.
