Actually that started to happen to me after the update. It seems to be about having the right timing now. Sometimes when I’m snatching a survivor of a hook grab it goes into the animation but quickly goes to a hit. There wouldn’t be a need to do that because whatever killer you are playing should keep you at the rank that you are at.
For instance lets say The Legion does good in Rank 8-12. And you are constantly piping until you get to rank 6 I guess. Well if you are not doing so good in rank 6 you will depip back into the ranks where you were before. I could be wrong about this but just let me know.
Also the only reason locking killers will not be good because there are players who knows how to use certain killers like Freddy in the higher ranks.

Who cares if he is Freddy tier? You guys have to remember there are people who play for different reason. If people have fun playing The Legion then it may keep them around rank 8-12. Anywho I have no problem with the current state of NOED. I play solo survivors and I cleanse a totem when I see it. Then there are times where I just ignore it. I deal with the results at the end of the game.
Now most people who complains about noed are the ones who taunt the killer at the end of the game.

It’s not false advertising because it was a cinematic trailer, not a gameplay trailer.
Cinematic trailers does a better job at marketing games. It allows the dev to get creative with their visuals. If I was new to the game I would be interested in playing the game (Bam! Marketing job has been accomplished).
And just like someone else mention, The Legion basically looks like the survivors.The only difference is that they wear mask.The devs definitely can play with their clothing and match it with some of the survivors.

I go back and forth doing two gens.
I completed both gens.
I watched the killer as he debates on whether to leave the hatch or go to the exit gate.
He leaves and I take the hatch 🤪 -

I am pretty sure Legion will have cosmetics that resembles to Survivors. This is an award show, you are given a short amount of time to say something. What Dead By Daylight presented is enough to get people interested to see what the game is about. And Dead By Daylight is not huge franchise so it was great that they had the opportunity to speak. -

They are working on all the stuff that you mention. Patience is key.
And they work on killers ahead of time so in my eyes I don’t see them rushing out their content. The Spirit was being worked on during the release of The Clown. And The Legion was already being worked on when The Spirit came out.
Not everything going to be perfect and not every one going to like everything that is being released.
I personally like what the devs have been releasing( The Clown is ehh). I find The Legion one of the most interesting characters and I can not wait for his released.
I think overall some people have their expectation high which is okay because you support the company and you wish the best for them. However you have to remember that doing it is way much harder than just saying it. -
Well it just depends on how I feel about going into the game. Most of the time when I use it as offering I forget that I have it at the end. I don’t realize after the match when looking at the scoreboard

The hag having a Medusa cosmetics would still fit her lore. Medusa was cursed and so is the hag. And if you goes into the depth of Medusa history you will see that her and the hag have some similarities. I could take the hatch and get away - offer the killer a chance to grab me. I'm actually doing them a favour. Again they could end it at ANY TIME by hitting me, THEY choose to stand there.
Standing in exit gates - again all they have to do is walk up and whack the survivor. Not hard at all.
None of that is holding the game hostage at all. We've been over the exit gates thing before. None of this is holding the game hostage like say blocking the basement stairs bevause the killer can easily stop it at any time. So no, there won't be a ban my friend.

- Standing at the hook and forcing someones game to be over 40 seconds in, ensuring they depip and have wasted their escape cake = Perfectly acceptable.
- Having to take an extra 20 seconds to walk over to the exit gate to hit a survivor out = COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! BHVR BAN PLZ!!

hiding behind a gen doesnt work, as any killer can tell you, the gen and survivor auras are different colours so you can still see them.
Also if people are relying on this 1 perk to 'sasve them' then they need to challenge themselves to get better at the game.
I've been in games where the killer DID NOT run BBQ and chilli and still annihilated us. Proves it is NOT needed to get a 4k.Hiding behind gens work, if you are hiding in the right angle. Especially on the PTB/engine update, were auras are kinda thicker outlined giving you more space to hide.
And besides that BBQ isn't a game safer. It's usefull. How often do I see survivors complain that a pure bp perk like WGLF feels underwhelming and useless within a trial? BBQ and it's aura reading is so popular, because it gives you bp and an effect that's useful, not op. -

I would say it’s too early to judge the legion. Most people said The Spirit was weaker than Freddy, now look at her. Legion just needs a few tweaks. I would wait until the Chapter is officially released. -

Well they are making a few announcements at the game awards on December 6th so there’s a possibility that new game modes could be part of that. -
That would be a nice buff to the trapper. It will help slow down the game. When playing the trapper there’s a lot gen rush since you focus on setting traps in the beginning of the game. And on top of that you have to collect your traps.
I would prefer if traps just automatically opened up in the beginning of the game causing it where survivors have to be cautions soon as the game starts. -
