Sloppy butcher honestly needs to be disabled. It's 100% an exploit at this point. Until the devs (finally) figure out how to make the game run semi smooth on console, it shouldn't be used. It's been broken for years now but has gotten WAY worse since the RE trashpile was released. Fix it or get rid of it.
Dead Hard and Sloppy should be disable until the devs know how to make these perks work for half of the playerbase.

I lost like 5 matches in a row trying to do those Clown challenges (I suck at him) and yeah, I noticed the last teams were getting a bit weaker.
-
Yes!!!
-
Depends a lot on the context. 2k by camping at endgame or for pure survivor altruism instead of my skill? No.
A 2k with 8~10 hooks throughout the game and tons of cool stuff I did? Hell yeah.
-
40 and something, but I finished all challenges on both tomes.
-
This is because everybody would only say "I got rainbow ranks" whenever they were giving MMR feedback, when the whole purpose of MMR is that ranks don't matter.
-
Balanced matches overall. I never stomp nor get stomped anymore. If a 4k happens, it's either at 1 gen remaining or endgame. If all survivors escape, at least I (or the killer I went against) got 6~8 hooks. A lot of 2ks.
-
Everyone bashing this guy just shows how people are spoiled on solo queue. He's absolutely right, if you go down in a 10 second chase don't expect people to immediately let go of gens to save you.
-
Free, powerful and easy to use killer. Nothing more to it. I don't like the term "easy mode" on this game but he's the closest that comes to it.
-
These pallets are not even safe. You can force 50/50s on it or even just bloodlust it if you want. That's not even considering Nemesis has an antiloop power.

With every update, the fans on my PS4 run louder and longer. DbD is the only game that makes the fans run. It used to be just the "press x to continue" and offering screens that turned the fans into jet engines, but then it spread to the Survivor and Killer menus, and now the fans are running all the time during matches. It obscures the game audio! I even opened the console up and cleaned the fan, but that didn't help.
The Switch runs silent but the framerate is super choppy and killer is damn near unplayable. My PS4 has an SSD attached so DbD runs smoothly, but the fans are so damn loud it's actually become a problem. It's really unacceptable.
I only play DBD with one of those huge table fans directly into my PS4 or otherwise the console fans also get really loud. My advice is that you do something similar to what I did or just don't play the game if the fans are really that loud, you're killing your console really fast this way.

I spent like 2 minutes searching what was wrong with hair thinking it was about a bug. Then I read the comments...
Dude, go complain on Twitter or something.

My favorite one is that silo on Torment Creek. It has no collision at all, you just slide inside it until fatigue. Incredible funny.

That sounds like a console optimization problem not a Trickster problem then if you have the aim to play the other projectile Killer you shouldn't have issues doing well that are skill related. He does have more animation effects and the knives probably take more graphics power to render than the single shots of Huntress or Deathslinger.
The problem with Trickster is not performance, he's simply not optimized for controller. The lack of deadzone settings in this game and the recoil make it borderline impossible to keep track of juking survivors.
-
Deliverance is incredible strong as it is. Although DS could be usable twice.
-
Purple addon is frickin' 60% of extra effectiveness my dude. If you use it with the green you actually break people twice as fast. They are just not really good addons in general because you don't want to be puking on people until they break unless they are on a deadzone. You puke once and leave or hit them.
-
Silent Hill 2 is from 2001. The Nemesis we have in game is the one from 2020. Stranger Things is a 2016 TV show.
I personally love Siren but none of these things you mentioned are as iconic as the killers we have right now. What do you think will make more people buy DBD: an icon like Michael Myers or a creature from A Quiet Place?
-
Perks don't need to be skillful. Perks are meant to help you. Where's the skill on using STBFL or Bambozlee then.
Hag is also quite good on countering DH. If you teleport fast enough with a hit most of the time the survivor won't have enough reaction time to use it.
-
That's honestly why I turn off my chat and I just treat most players like bots. I usually give hatch for the last survivor, but the amount of slurs I've been called for the pettiest reasons isn't worth the one or two ggs.
-
If he doesn't have a 100% kill rate at 5 gens I'll be disappointed.
-
Ghostface is an incredible fun killer to master. People understimate how high his skill ceilling is due to everyone doing hit and runs with him and never using Stalk. If you manage to get the maximum out of his potential you can gladly say you're of the few that managed to do it. A good Huntress, Nurse or Blight these days is "whatever", but a good stalking Ghostface is a rare sight imo.
-
Posts like this are what remind me this game is full of children for some reason.

Then perk like franklin demise and lightborn are a gamble and wont see any play
I'm not a fan of both of these perks anyway. Would like to see a rework for both.
-
I want another true stealth killer like Ghostface. Myers and Pig can barely be considered stealth, and Wraith right now is more based on map pressure and chase potential than actual stealth.
I'd love to see a stealth killer that places traps around the map, maybe something with wires idk.
-
Is there a chance for the killer to actually be original? I don't remember licensed killers having teasers like that. The 1987 can be just a sneaky prank.
-
That's because as killer you're relying only on yourself to pip, meanwhile as survivor the emblem system basically forces you to do half the work of the team if you want a pip. It's not rare for me to do almost 30k points and then still black pip lmao.
-
Same reason why survivors who stay tbagging on top of hatch with a key until the killer finds them isn't.
-
You know you're not helping yourself by posting that result, right? One could interpret it as survivors needing a buff, as theoretically you're facing survivors of your skill level with SBMM on, and even bringing 3BNPs they still got 4ked by a killer with no addons.
-
What is your favorite killer perk?
-
I find super lame how much he got tweaked balance wise but not a single finger was moved to make him playable on console. Even release Blight was better to play than Trickster because you could at least use Blight's power for mobility.
-
The world needs more Ghostface mains.
-
He's such a nice guy. Sad to see him leave but I wish him the best on his future projects.
-
I honestly think the lobby should only last like 15 seconds for you to see the names of people you're going against (including the killer), but neither items nor survivors.
-
Because ranks in this game only reflect how much you play this game, not how good you are. I mostly play killer and I always get to rank 1 one or two days after reset, but I'd never consider myself on the level of people like Otz or Dowsey just because I'm the same rank as them.
-
Timed Wealth is kind of like Appraisal as well.
-
I think the hook counter is an important factor on it. Don't know anymore than that.
-
It's not the first time they have done this...
-
The only killer that completely sucks on controller is Trickster. Even if you put 5 thousand hours on this guy chances are someone with 10 hours on him with KB + mouse will be better than you because of the lack of deadzone settings and recoil.
Everyone else is fine. You can achieve a very similar result of people playing with KB+M.
-
Played 10 killer matches with 10 different killers. Lost one, another one was a draw and everything else was 4k/3k with hatch. The one I lost was with one of my mains (Wraith), who I almost never lose with.
As survivor, funnily enough most of my matches ended in 2 kills/2 escapes. There wasn't a single 0k or 4k.
-
I did it throwing the Antidote at a pallet or window they are forced through.
-
I honestly don't understand why people like this don't stay on KYF or single player games.
-
MMR is actually being quite good for me. Most of my survivor matches have been pretty balanced and ending in a 2k. Had exactly only one where everybody died and one where everybody escaped. Everything else ranged from 1~3k.
One thing I have noticed is that almost EVERY killer is running Ruin, which is kind of odd. The ones that don't run Corrupt/Pop.
Will try killer later.
-
The Game is probably because there could be a gen spawn that survivors were unable to access due to closed doors.
No idea for Blood Lodge though.
-
The devs never revealed how the MMR is calculated.

I don't even like FNAF, but I'm at a point where I want it really bad on DBD because these posts against and in favor of it are super hilarious to read.

I think they have the solution, and it’s do nothing until enough people upgrade to next gen. Then the problem is solved.
I have already seem multiple people on PS5 complaining about FPS drops and lagging. If BHVR doesn't do some big change urgently, then the next gen consoles will be on the same situation in a few years. Which is going to be a shame because it will probably be one of the few games with average graphics that doesn't run well on those powerhouses. I'm not talking about small changes every update, because it seems every new chapter these get throw into the trash, I'm talking about a huge optimization update.

It's kind of like an ambient sound, it's pretty noticeable and if you play against a Trickster the next time, you'll definitely hear it for sure.
Here's what it sounds like though:
I personally find it very subtle and hard to notice with his TR. Especially if you're on a gen.

That is not what I ment the tr will get louder as the get closer but its coming from everywhere, the lullaby stays at the same level of sound but if you rotate your camera it is louder the direction she is in
It used to be like that a long time ago. It isn't anymore.

Oni, Pyramid, Plague, Bubba and Hillbilly are all playable again. Don't know why but (at least for me) performance has improved a bit.
Today I've actually seen one of the cleanest Dead Hards in months (skip to 0:24):
