Not really a saw killer tbh. Whilst I understand your perspective I do think pigs does not live up to her theme as a jigsaw based killer.
Her traps should be the defining aspect of her kit. Stealth is often a side note to a lot of killers strengths with there power carrying a unique way to enhance the experiance.
If pigs trap got even further nerfed only to improve her dash then she would feel even less unqiue. I dont think we would see an overhaul for pig given how slow content is released. But I would ask people to consider the fact she is based off of the saw license not the halloween or scream franchises.
I mean, Pyramid Head in the games isn't a buffed up guy who hits you through walls and sends you to cages. Freddy's power also barely has anything to do with the movies. I don't think being faithful to the source material is that important.

Not everyone who isn't a 4-man is as helpless as you'd think. And I would consider Haddonfield to be impossible to win as any average killer if the survivors are good, even a solo group can beat a Blight with this setup.
It's a S tier killer using a meta build. Even a mediocre Blight tilts the game heavily on his side by using this (just like a SWF using a Haddonfield offering do), especially when most of them also take Alchemist Ring with it which arguably makes him better than Spirit on some maps.
-
I'm totally against addons that make traps more likely to pop. These are just unhealthy as they can give the other side free wins just for using addons. Imo Pig should have a rework to make her traps less oppressive and RNG based, but buffing her stealth and chase in compensation.
-
"Why would you even use anything else if this build has everything you need?" For the same reason people don't play Doom on easy.
If you want to run it, that's okay, but don't act like winning with this build is impressive against anything that isn't a 4man SWF. It's the equivalent of a survivor using a Haddonfield offering, so I hope you're not one of those that complain about that.
-
My rule of thumb to guarantee a safety pip is doing 1 gen, 1 unhook, 1 heal and last at least 30 seconds per chase. Any more than that and you're more likely to pip.

At least give console the graphic option like pc.
Lowering the graphic will make the game more bearable for console players and would be like a bandage for the hdd issue for the time being.
Also switch had it graphic lowered.
The problem with console right now are freezes during UI events and certain particle effects. Exhaustion perks, Sloppy Butcher, hooking/unhooking, certain killer powers, the smoke on Crotus Prenn, that middle room on Lerys, etc. Lowering the graphics only helps with the stable FPS, which in itself is not that bad already (I think it ranges from 30 to 45 FPS on old gen). So we'd basically have an uglier game that still freezes during the same things. The only benefit I can imagine is that some of the newer maps would have a slightly higher FPS.
-
Ghostface, Oni, Wraith in general.
I also like killers who have 4v1 objectives besides the chase. Plague, Twins, Demogorgon, Trapper, Hag, Doctor. The only exception is Pig because I hate her.
-
At least 10 years is what I bet, so more 5. However, they will probably stop releasing DLCs before that, or maybe adapt to a 2 DLCs per year schedule.
-
I don't know what region are you playing on but on mine (SA) survivor is instant through almost the entire day while killer takes 3~5 min. The opposite only happens late at night, where killer is instant and survivor takes 3~5 min.
Playing killer has never been so easy imo. I only run 1 slowdown perk on all my killers (Corrupt Intervention) and still 4k/3k+hatch around 90% of my games. We're almost on September and I've probably depiped only around 10 times this year, and I usually play low/mid tier killers like Ghostface and Legion. Solo survivor is the truly miserable experience in this game, and in fact I just dropped it for SWF because everyone is just spamming Blight and Nurse with slowdowns and you can't deal with those on solo.
Be patient and try to watch some guides on Youtube. Otzdarva has like 20 guides for new/average players, and I remember Scott Jund having a guide on how to run all tiles. Basically every killer in the game also has in depth guides on how to play them on Youtube and Steam.
-
It's a good map for stealth killers actually. Very nice points to stalk as Ghostface. You can see it was clearly designed for Myers.
Sure it sucks for basically everyone else, but 9/10 survivors don't know how to correctly use the loops there. Most end up trying to loop those car loops on the street which are actually fair tbh. I'd take Haddonfield over RPD any day.

You could say this about literally any killer you complete dope, blame it on your own inability to cope with loss in a videogame. If i die to several RBT's several games in a row, i too, could hop on the forum and say "Congrats pig players, you made me hate solo surv" like an idiot. But thankfully, i am not an idiot.
You just read the title, didn't you?

The downside of the movement speed add-ons is that he gets less time to turn.
He moves forwards faster but has a harder time making sudden turns. Along with the hit windows becoming smaller and smaller the longer the rush chain goes due to the speed stacking.
Also your both complaining about mass slowdown on a slugging build... Which one did he have? Killers only have 4 perks and well he needs at least 3 perks to either for it to count as either.
Also you can play around infectious by splitting up so him infinitely chaining it is you and your team misplaying.
I get that your tilted from a blight going full try hard troll but your points are starting to contradict each other.
Speed addons literally make turning easier at loops. It's like double engravings on Billy, you get hits that you wouldn't without them.
His build was Ruin, Undying, Infectious and Monitor and Abuse. The first two are slowdowns, the other two for slugging. Having both at the same build is totally doable. I'm also not complaining about this specific Blight (hence why the "s" on the title).
"Also you can play around infectious by splitting up" again you don't get the point of the post. Solo survivor is already miserable enough, coordinating against a good Blight with Infectious is not easy. He can patrol the almost the entire map with one usage of his power. He left everyone slugged so eventually we had to go back and pick up. At this point there's no time to split up.

That or your not very good against blights nor have you played against survivor who knows how to play against him?
He's not overpowered and while strong because of his mobility he does have counterplay by juking him/running him to loops where his power isn't very good or has a limited possible angles to hit you such as shack.
You're not getting the point. I don't have a problem with basekit Blight, the problem are his addons and the massive amount of slowdown people think is needed on a S Tier killer.
Speed addons eliminate counterplay on a lot of loops without having a downside, and Alchemist Ring makes it impossible to chain loops if he manages to hit you, and makes Infectious absurdly good on him. It's the same problem Omega Nurse and Instasaw Billy had.

If he's constantly downing you with his power then he's catching you out in deadzones or transition tiles as unless the blight is very skilled.
Its very hard for him to actually get a hit with his power at most loops due to how easily it can juked.
If your constantly being downed at loops by blight's power then that's a you thing.
You must be going against pretty bad Blights or be a pretty bad Blight yourself then. I play Blight myself and, although I don't main him, getting hits at loops is totally doable. With speed addons it's even easier.
"Its very hard for him to actually get a hit with his power at most loops due to how easily it can juked." Again, are you joking? Even semi-decent Blights very rarely get juked.
-
@Warcrafter4 said:
Blight has no real way of downing survivors faster then anyone else. He just has high map mobility.
Mass slugging is Oni's thing and he's much better at it then blight.
Also farm maps and indoor maps are the bane of the Blight so seeing one go full Tilt Slugging(Aka "If I can't have fun here, no one can!") is sadly not unusual.
"Blight has no real way of downing survivors faster then anyone else". Are you joking? Blight has one of the best chases in the game.
Oni is better at slugging but his power has a limited duration and after it ends he has to either collect orbs or get M1s. A Blight with Alchemist Ring + Blighted Crow just keeps constant pressure at you without basically ever running out of power. If he manages to hit you with his Rush good luck trying to get anywhere because thanks to these balanced addons he'll probably catch you before you're able to.

This is why I try not to use add Ons just in general…unless it’s trapper. My Blight build is BBQ, Nurse’s Calling, and End/Fury. No add ons unless I need to sweat (most recently when I lost the latter 3 perks to Clown’s perks for the archives.). No slowdowns, I either zoom fast and win or the survivors zoom faster and win. Makes for a dynamic game and I to date have not had anyone complain at me for the build or playstyle.
Not saying there aren’t scummy Blights out there but I can say there’s a few fun ones. The ruin/tinker/undying combo is just not fun by comparison, I like feeling like I had a chance to lose, you know?
I honestly don't have a problem with addons (I actually run some yellows and greens myself), but when every killer runs the same combination with the same 2~3 slowdowns build on a S tier killer, it's upsetting. It's the same problem that happened with Nurse using omega blinks and Billy using instasaw.

I have never seen a single one, and I browse this forums at least twice a day.
-
What's the point of this post? 2 years playing DBD and I've never seen anybody asking to know who the killer is on the lobby.
-
Pig. Trash stealth, trash chase and her only potential are traps which are super inconsistent unless you bring purple addons every match.
I used to think it was Myers, but honestly he's not that bad with Monitor + Bambozlee.
-
Perks don't need to be earned, but very strong effects should. Just look at every other instadown perk in the game. It's the same problem old MoM and DS had and no idea why NOED still hasn't received the same treatment.
-
What forums are you browsing? The majority of posts here are people bashing things in the game and almost every comment agrees with those posts. There are even posts here who criticize the devs personally which is baffling. The fact these forums still exists is a miracle.
-
I'll usually try at least. 99% of survivors don't know how to always secure a fast vault no matter the killer mindgames, so most of the time I get the pallet or a hit.

I am running exactly 1 Slowdown-Perk on my Killers (Corrupt Intervention). Sometimes I dont run any (on Billy and Pig) or I add Sloppy Butcher on Killers where it either makes sense (like Ghostface with Nurses) or where I dont have any idea what to run. But most Killers, I only use Corrupt Intervention.
And I also deal with Metaperks left and right. And I do fine. I rather lose a game than stacking Slowdown-Perks and make it boring for everyone, including myself.
Yesterday I faced a good Nurse with Ruin, Corrupt, Sloppy and PGTW. It was really a shame, she was really good. But 4 Slowdowns on the best Killer in the game...yikes.
Everyone can run what they like, but that does not mean that everybody likes it. For me, stacking multiple Slowdown-Perks is just boring and the easiest way to play this game.
I also run only Corrupt or Sloppy on my killers and still win 90% of them. It's funny how some killers think they are facing 4 man sweat squads every game. The truth is that those teams don't play public matches, they mostly stay on KYF. The SWFs I usually face are either mediocre or just people having fun with altruism.
But yeah, funny how those people think they are good by 4king solo team number #21232 with their 3 slowdowns loadout.
-
I hope this Otzdarva petition doesn't draw attention to the wrong things. Although I agree a Low graphic settings would help greatly, it only would affect the basic FPS, which itself is not that bad already. The problem lies in the hitches: Dead Hard, Bloodlust, unhooking/hooking, gens being done, Sloppy Butcher and so on. Lowering the graphics doesn't help with those.
-
Dead Dawg Saloon spawns a 3 gen just like this consistently. You can stay on top of the gallows area and have a 3 or even a 4 gen on your LoS. If you're playing Nurse you can hold your blink and have all of those gens at half a second from you.

There is a Hag main extraordinaire named Space Coconut, he is a Hag main and is really, really good as her.
But as said many times, it only depends on the player.
My dude really just revived a beginning 2019 tier list. At least half of the killers here received major changes.
-
I think Frank and Joey have bald models. Might want to put them on two tiers.

Nah, 70% is fine. Either don't tell which gen is at 70% or make it only work once per gen.
-
I love when I don't even get value from BBQ aura reveal because my game freezes just as I hook a survivor. Yikes, BHVR.
I don't think reaching 100 pages is something to be happy about. It just means this post went TOO long without the main issues being resolved (and they actually got worse).

I love seeing killers use Corrupt, Ruin, and Pop. 😂
But yeah, you’re pretty much forced to run a tracking perk with PGTW or it will run out before you can find a suitable gen to use it with.
I don't really see the problem with that tbh. It's a very strong perk, so having to equip another perk to make maximum use out of it makes sense to me. The perks I mentioned also work well even if you haven't Pop active.
-
It shouldn't reveal which gen is at 70%. It's basically a "go here" notification that removes all the skill involved in map pressure and gen control.
-

Even on other maps like Groaning Storehouse, it’s problematic. Unless you have a direct bearing from BBQ or some kind of tracking perk, Pop can be almost useless.
90% of games I see Pop paired with BBQ, Thrilling Tremors, Discordance or Tinkerer. You never see Pop alone unless it's one of those insecure killers who need 4 slowdowns for some reason.
-
I was honestly fine with keys before they added those hatch spawn offerings with Blight chapter. Seriously, what was the reasoning to add those when everybody was already complaining about keys?
Before AT LEAST you had to search for hatch, and on maps like Swamp or indoor maps the killer still had a good chance to prevent the escape. Nowadays you can have the most braindead escape possible with a key + hatch at shack offering. Don't even talk me about Franklins because you can just put the key on a goddamn chest.
-
Just played a game against a Freddy with Sloppy, Franklins and Third Seal. The moment he hit me my game froze for 5+ seconds and when it returned I was already downed. I didn't even have the opportunity to run away. I swear a minority of these PC killers use this kind of build on purpose.
-
Every killer you mentioned has people who like playing as and against them. "Terrible and boring" is just your personal opinion.
-
That's like the worst perk you can use on her. People don't heal against Plague.
-
PS4 performance. It pains me that I play a lot of demanding games who run well, but my favorite game runs like ass.

Those kill rates are false and shouldn't be used to say how many kills a killer is getting as things like survivors killing themselves on hook and i'm pretty sure DC also were counted in the kill rates i could be wrong about the DC. But it does count survivors killing themselves so the kill rates are higher then what they really are.
Hatch, AFK killers, farming killers, buggy killers, etc also make the kill rates lower than it should be. It goes both ways.
I'm not saying killers are op and they need nerfs (they don't actually), but the truth is that survivors die more often than survive. There's simply no denying that.
I play 80% of my matches as killer and I deppiped like, 10 matches this year. Meanwhile as survivor a strong killer like Blight or Nurse with Ruin is 9 times out 10 a free win against solo queue teams.

Where do you acquire this data?
Official DBD data from last year.
-
Kill rates are sitting at almost 70% on a game that hatch exists. Escaping on solo queue is already challenging as it is, especially with how matchmaking is.
Killers shouldn't be overpowered, both sides should have a chance to win. This is a multiplayer game and survivors aren't playing to satisfy your god complex. If you want to feel OP go play Doom Eternal or something like that.
-
5540 Auric Cells. 1000 on Rift, 400 on a Deathslinger weapon and everything else on Ghostface.
-
PS4 Slim with HDD. A lot of the RE chapter problems were solved, but exhaustion perks, Sloppy Butcher and sometimes even unhooks lag my game. I always have to restart my game after 3~4 matches or else it becomes unplayable.

I don't remember SB freezing my game tbh.
Did you ever rebuild your ps4's database? I think that helped me a lot with the freezes. You're not losing progress, or anything you have on your PS4.
Rebuilding the database on the PS4/5 fixes any broken files and generally cleans up the HD/SSD, for faster and more responsive performance from your console. It does NOT delete any existing game files or settings, so you do not need to backup any data when using this option.
Just searched for it and immediately turned on my PS4 to do it. Will test how it affects performance later, thank you.

Is it that thing where you unplug your PS4 from all cables and leave it like that for some minutes? If so, yes.
Tbh my freezes are super inconsistent. Sometimes random things like gens popping and unhooks make my game die, other times I can have full games without a single freeze.
-
Haven't bought Nemesis because playing against him still lags my PS4 to death, so I doubt playing as him will be any better.
-
Stomping solos isn't fun as killer. It's clear when I'm facing a full solo team when I barely have to do anything to make them fall due to lack of coordination.
4 man SWFs are extremely rare, and even then most of them have at least a single weak link you can abuse, and 99% of SWFs are very altruistic.

I honestly wish they would mess with things like movement speed, breaking/vaulting speed, terror radius, weapon cooldowns and lunges a bit more. The 110/24m TR and 115/32m TR got stale really fast imo. I know it's easier to balance when killers share the same basic stats, but they actually did something extra on Myers (longer lunge, faster vaulting speed, smaller TR) and it worked out well. Pig also had a smaller TR which kind of helped her (and they nerfed it for some reason).
-
I wish they got rid of the zombies and added some sort of mobility for him. Make him have the walking animation that he has on the endgame screen and give him some sort of speed mode with his running animation where he destroys pallets, walls and damages survivors by tackling on them. In compensation, make the tentacle never go out of Tier 1.
I just find it stupid how he's one of the only killers who runs instead of walking (the other ones being Hag and Trickster), but he never goes above 115%. It leads to very meme-ish scenes like this:
