at least this is something
That's good news. At least we know our efforts are resulting in something. Let's keep positive and watch out for the next update.
-
Genrush tactics lmao
-
Now you can finally play the game!
-
Killer because there are 24 of them with different powers, addons, synergy with perks, etc. All survivors are just reskins of Dwight and Meg so the gameplay is the same of 5 years ago, therefore it's less buggy. Most bugs you see fixed on the survivor side are usually cosmetic related.

Yes, they can be played around by forcing them to match more difficult for themselves. Going totem hunting does the same to survivors.
And yet you can still progress your objective while playing around DS. As survivor you cannot.
-
I usually play 2~3 games of Ghostface, 1~2 of Wraith and then I start rotating between Nurse, Huntress, Oni, Blight, Slinger, Spirit, Legion, Demo, Plague and Pyramid Head.
For survivor, 9 out of 10 games are as Kate. But sometimes I mess with Yui and Cheryl.

Why is it wrong for survivors to have to play around something the killer may or may not have, but it is okay for killers to have to assume that every survivor has DH, BT, DS, UB,Soul Guard, and whatever else that can grant them a extra health state, when they may or may not have it equipped?
Each one of these perks can be played around by the killer while he still progresses the objective. Most of them are countered by simply going after another survivor.
Going totem hunting does nothing to progress the objective as Aven_Fallen pointed out, if the killer doesn't have NOED you essentially just wasted time, and against some strong killers like Spirit or Blight, doing dulls can be the death of your team.

So Twins are super strong, but no one wants to play them.
Makes sense
/not
It makes way more sense than your flawed logic of thinking pick rate has anything to do with how strong a killer is.

Then why are there no Twins around? They must have the lowest pick rate right now.
By your logic Legion and Trapper are very strong killers because you see them all the time. Pick rates don't relate to how strong a killer is.

Twins only power is to camp. That doesn't make them A tier. Unless you consider insidious basement bubba A tier.
Their power is to camp while also pressuring gens, unlike Insidious Bubba. Twins are a Hag on steroids because Victor is way better at chases.
-
The majority of the weakest killers (Trapper, Pig, Myers) are pretty old. Yeah, Nemesis and Trickster are a bit on the weaker side, but Blight was a god tier killer and Twins was a solid high A. Deathslinger and Pyramid Head were also quite strong.
-
I used to hate the map but people spamming the offerings basically made me learn it by brute force, so I kind of like it now. Although I must admit it incentivizes camping A LOT. I always choose one side of the map to defend and I basically never leave it.
-
Basekit Nurse is better than basekit Spirit.
Spirit with addons is better than basekit Nurse.
Nurse with addons is better than Spirit with addons.

Thanks. I hardly ever played him and wanted to try again.
The older killers (Trapper until Spirit) are mostly fine from what I've seen. From Legion and beyond problems start to appear a lot.
-
@Shaped said:
Anyone plays wraith? Is he freezing when uncloaking etc?
He feels fine to me.
-
Enduring and Spirit Fury is like one of the most overrated combos in this game. Now that we are on the pre-drop meta good luck getting any value from it.
-
Blood Fury Oni is probably only below Nurse on chase potential. If you don't know how to play him it's fine, but don't blame the killer.
Wait, ain't you the guy who also made a post calling LTs overpowered? LMAO.
-
Show me a video of you looping a competent killer on a LT.
-
You'd just turn him into invisible Legion lol.
-
Super unnecessary combo to run on public matches. It's the equivalent of a meta SWF taking the killer to Haddonfield . Some people actually think they are good by beating a solo team or a meme SWF using this.
-
Make Legion 150% and Frenzy last for at least 15 seconds at base. Wraith and Victor are this speed and have no limited duration for their powers, so no idea why Legion is like this.
-
Or maybe buff some useless perks and nerf others that are too strong. All perks should be on a similar power level.
-
I used to do this but 9 times out of 10 the killer just downs you and carries you to the gate. So now I just leave.
-
Think about DBD as hobby instead of a job. I know this sounds stupid but some people take this game way too seriously.
A normal DBD match usually lasts around 10 to 15 minutes, there's no reason to get angry about a bad game because you can just go into another one almost instantly.
-
Please, fellow console players, stop using Dead Hard. We just look stupid trying to use it:

I'd bet on the midchapter after Pinhead.

It is baffling to me the Devs give Clown his mediocre at best buff that didn't really boost him at all and yet they give Wraith these monstrous buffs that boosted him to Hell and back. They don't play their own friggin game I promise.
Mind I ask you what these "monstrous buffs" were?
What they did with Wraith recently was:
- Make him only visible from 20m away, which let's be real is only helpful on huge open maps;
- Make a purple addon basekit (old purple Windstorm);
- Give him a slightly longer speed boost after uncloaking, which was compensated by nerfing his speed during the uncloaking animation.
That's it. There were no more buffs after that. Before the changes every Wraith under the sun used to run Windstorm, so essentially his most significant changes were: freeing up an addon slot and a slightly better chase potential. They even compensated the speed boost buff by nerfing his speed while uncloaking (giving you more time to reach a loop).
The only boosted thing about Wraith now is All Seeing Blood, because now you can run it with another one of his strong addons. And even that is questionable because we're on a game where Alchemist Ring and Mother Daughter-Ring still exist.
-
Can confirm this happens on the PS4 Slim as well. There's no other game, including multiplayers, that make the fans THAT loud. I noticed on Crotus Prenn maps the fans also get louder, probably due to that make having some unnecessary smoke effects.
-
I don't mind being tunneled. But being excessively camped/slugged totally kills my mood to play survivor and I switch to killer if it happens 2 or 3 games in a row. You're essentially AFK when those two things happen. Mind you I'm not talking about proxy camping or slugging for pressure, it's the pure facecamping or killers that slug for absolutely no reason.
-
Lampkin is the 3rd biggest map in the game, while Badham is among the smallest. If you include verticality it's virtually the same size or even bigger than Mother's Dwelling.
House of Pain and the Myers house are disgusting loops and you can easily waste at least a minute on those loops to get hit.
Huge fences and bushes who impede mobility.
Almost no line of sight to gens and very weird spawn points. Good luck trying to find anybody at the beginning without Lethal Pursuer.
Even if survivors get stunned while falling, from every building you can easily see when the killer is entering and position yourself to run super early. So good luck trying to catch someone on those houses unless you're Nurse or a stealth killer.
-
I like playing them a ton, almost daily. It's a good killer to keep basic fundamentals always in check: chase mechanics, which areas to pressure, when to slug, etc.
-
Pretty much the standard killer build.
-
Give him two extra bottles so he doesn't have to reload all the time and he's fine. Super underrated killer, there's very few tiles a good Clown can't get you. Not even mentioning he's one of the few killers who counter Dead Hard for distance.
-
My pfp should tell it to you.
-
Never chase Ace players who use those colored outfits. These guys will loop you for 5 gens.
-
@SunderMun said:
Imagine people defending this and saying it isn't something that should be removed from the game rather than just creating more band-aid perks that create problems like DS did. (:
That's what I don't get about people defending this. It's scary to think that there's nothing stopping every player to do this and the only thing maintaining fun in this game is a subtle honor code.
-
Count to 8.
-
I think 1 gen by the first hook means both sides have similar chances. 1 or 2 hooks before the first gen massively favors the killer, and 2~3 gens by the first hook massively favors survivors.
-
I wouldn't bother playing this game without headphones.
-
I actually thought this was a thread about last gen consoles...
Regarding the question, no. The game is over when the endgame screen shows up.
-
Deathslinger is S+ for me. It's legit the only DBD music I actually listen to outside of the game.
-
Freddy probably sweats a lot on that shirt on the middle of Coldwind though.
-
The purpose of 110% killers is that those killers can't catch you at normal tiles (shack, jungle gyms, etc) without using their powers unless the survivor really mess up. Boosting them up to 115% would be kind of unfair imo.
Just think that a 4.4 m/s killer (110%) catches up a survivor at 0.4m per second, boosting them to 115% would make them catch up at 0.6m per second. Killers like Huntress, Spirit and Slinger who have insane chase mechanics would catch up 50% faster.
-
- Save the Best for Last;
- Play with your Food;
- Shadowborn;
- BBQ;
- Corrupt Intervention;
- Nurse's Calling;
- Surge.
-
I do this all the time and it's annoying how they keep insisting on dropping me on the gates lol.
-
Autodidact and Shadowborn.
-
Ironworks is fine. I always have fun on it as killer.
Groaning Storehouse is survivor sided, but it's not Badham or Haddonfield level, so I deal with it. The main building windows are super annoying though, and the gen spread is atrocious (I always give up the two gens on those weird corners).
-
Freddy after the rework was always an overrated killer. He was a high B tier when he had those BS addons and now he's probably mid B at best. The problem is that Freddy showed the harsh truth to a lot of people: most survivors don't know how to loop. Freddy's chase is mediocre at best, but his teleport makes him always able to stay chasing survivors, so he doesn't lose games due to map size and survivors spread out. It's the same thing with people claiming current Wraith is OP.
-
I think so. Twins is almost a top 3 killer, very close to Blight. Sure you can send Victor to pressure other parts of the map and he moves at 150%, but the further away from Charlotte he is, the less useful he tends to be.

Then what's the point of even having head traps?
It's a passive slowdown. Head pops should only happen because the survivor messed up or got greedy staying on gens instead of searching boxes, not because the killer equipped 2 addons and used a map offering.
