I hope to see another hotfix tomorrow, which hopefully will make things better and not worse like the last two did. My last tolerance day is the 15th (1 month of RE chapter release). If nothing gets better until then I'll uninstall and my money will go into a better game.

To be fair, what killer is immune to this lag? Leatherface... I guess? Such a privileged boy, all that barbecue made him stronk.
Funnily enough it's Spirit.
-
Capcom was probably the one responsible for this. I want to believe the devs didn't want to do such a mess of a map willingly.
-
Here is my tierlist to play as. Nemesis is D because he's the only killer I haven't bought yet because PS4 DBD is almost unplayable.
I don't really mind going against any killer. I have fun against all. I'd rather face some variety than keep seeing high ping Huntresses and Ruin+Undying Blights every goddamn day lol.
-
If it's only for DBD, of course it's not worth it. I'd rather buy an actually optimized game if it ever came to that.

Ghostface:
- If you're not literally in the open, crouching whenever you hear the revealing sound 90% of the time will stop the procress of breaking GF out of Night Shroud. This is especially useful if you're stalking someone as you can keep tbagging while stalking and the survivor will never be able to reveal you;
- When leaning, there's a soft spot you can keep stalking while being impossible to reveal. This spot is when you're showing around less than half of the mask;
- Ghostface can stalk through basically anything in the map. Cracked windows and doors, little openings in main buildings, etc. Basically anything you see the survivor from is a location you're able to stalk;
- At the beginning of the match, never focus on downing a single survivor. Your objective is to try and 99 as many people as possible to prepare for a future snowball;
- Play With Your Food is insanely good on GF. You can 99 your obsession while farming stacks from him and then proceed to move around the map as a 130% MS killer without TR;
- You can turn on Night Shroud to hide your red stain in chase and also crouch in small loops for mindgames;
- I know it sounds stupid, but I'd recommend buying any skin for GF (except recolors and the blighted skin) as the base skin is super easy to spot due to the black straps. The red mask from the "Raining Blood" outfit and the robe from "Classic Ghostface" are the best combination for stealth, as they are very hard to spot from the survivor perspective.
-
Story of this match in one image.
-
It's a copy and paste from last year's event, so unless you're a new player that joined after the 4th anniversary, it's understandable to not be enjoying it.
-
I played it as Ghostface and Wraith. It's fun for GF, especially stalking the main hall from the upper floor, but the map is too big to be good for him. Wraith does well there just dur to his insane mobility.
-
It could easily be split into 2. No reason for the biggest map in the game to be indoors and with two floors. I had a game as Legion where I hooked a Leon near that crashed helicopter and I could barely see the BBQ auras just with how far they were. Took almost a full minute to get to the gens they were and Leon went to second stage as survivors also don't have mobility.

That’s exciting!
I’m gonna try and play too
Good luck! Be aware that Dead Hard still freezes the game though...

oh ok, I have a PS4 Pro. Probably just has more settings.
my advice for you: set your recording length of the clips to the shortest. that’s all you can do for now.
also if you have a SSD, put dbd on there. Some people in this forum have positive experiences!
I did that and matches feel a little bit better. Manage to play a game of Legion without missing Frenzy hits, so that's something.

It’s literally on the same page :)
Welp, mine doesn't have it lol. It's a base ps4 though.
-
How do you change the dimensions of the video clip? Managed to reduce the length but couldn't find that one.
-
He's literally unplayable for the majority of the console playerbase that doesn't have a PS5/Series. Besides that he's not really interesting to play as. I don't even like RE that much so he's pretty boring for me.
-
My objective is finishing all the gens and getting at least one survivor out, doesn't have to be me...
-
He's not wrong. When a community stops complaining it's because they have finally moved on from that product. People who complain about DBD everyday also play it everyday (and most likely put money into it).
-
I main Wraith and he's far from being oppressive. Good survivors still make me sweat and I can't relax like I do with Spirit.
Maybe try stopping self caring in a corner?

Because this killer has been the bane of my existence ever since his PTB, and back then he was the worst killer in the game.
Don't you like stealth killers? Or is ot the exposed?

I think the same, lethal is one of the most overrated perk in the game (except maybe for a good "omega" blink Nurse or a Blight on a open map)
85% of time Discordance activate 5s after the game begins and still useful until the last gens.
I think the same. As a GF main I thought Lethal Pursuer would be godtier on him to get a lot of survivors 99ed but Discordance and Whispers are just as useful and have the plus of being active the entire game.

Freddy is the most fun killer to go against. Not because of his power, because it is boring as hell, but because he is freaking Freddy Krueger. He is amazing and he knows it!
And the most boring killer to go against is Ghostface. That guy is painful.
Why do you hate my tbagging boi?
-
If I don't like the DLC and only want the perks I buy the characters with shards. The last DLC I bought was Silent Hill and the last OG was Chains of Hate. If Blight wasn't unplayable for almost half a year on console I'd have bought Descend Beyond as well.
If I have some leftover shards I buy some cosmetics as well.

The issue is that while its true he essentially has basekit USB, he also now has decay on a ridiculously short timer meaning he can no longer spread pressure (Which is vital to killer gameplay) or even take too long on any given injure state.
So yes, its a big buff but considering his other problems with his power it probably won't be that transformative. Making the situations where a ranged killer is going to down you down you even faster is sorta... already the entire problem with Trickster and why he isn't good. Huntress doesn't want to give up strong burst damage at loops to down someone extra fast if she catches a vault, she is already ridiculously good at that and the tradeoff doesn't make sense.
Honestly I don't think it really matters. If you stayed 20 seconds without hitting a single knife and they started decaying you really shouldn't be commiting to this chase anyway. It's still going to take around 3 seconds to decay each knife and a good Trickster will either drop a chase he can't land consistent knives or just literally down the survivor.
-
Reducing the knifes from 8 to 6 is a huge buff. Anyone who plays him with the USB addon knows how it makes strong way stronger and they basically did even better. 30 seconds of Main Event means you'll probably actually have a situation you can actually use it.
-
I could say the same about chasing a survivor on a safe loop with a M1 killer. Why bother? Just accept some things against certain playstyles are not worth doing and adapt a new playstyle, even if it's just holding W.
-
He's fine. I main Wraith since 2019 and the basekit that we have now was already possible with addons. Yes, even the omega lunge. Only things that need to go are Bone Cappler, Coxcombed Clapper and All Seeing Blood.
-
Ah yes, new skins nobody will use after 2 weeks. Why can't they do new things like the songbird shirt for Kate or the dog mask for Huntress?
-
You did fine. People who complain about playstyles like yours are the ones that seem to forget you actually need to do gens to escape. You're not getting out by 1v1ing the killer.
-
Blight, Billy and Oni are essentially the same killers with very minor differences on how to loop them... If every killer was like these 3 it'd get boring pretty fast.
I have fun winning the macro game. Chases are fun but the best part imo is outplaying the killer as a team and finishing the gens. That's probably why I don't mind any killer, I like facing all of them.
-
Reject normal killers. Embrace stealth killers. Don't have to deal with holding W if they only see me when I'm already hitting them :p.
-
Can we take a moment to appreaciate this comment?
"Entity: I did not get Nemesis for my realm, but I did get his little brother, Adversary."
-
Try Monitor and Abuse. In my opinion it's quite solid on him because it makes his biggest counter (holding W) a bit weaker. His terror radius, just like Deathslinger, has a very slow build up and with M&A you'll notice survivors start running waaaay late.

Well I'm re-downloading the game while I sleep to see if it does anything to help, I'll let you know if it helps at all (it won't).
It doesn't. I've tried.
-
Devour + Undying + Make Your Choice is my free win combo on Ghost.
-
I'm on PS4 and I can't play anything that isn't Ghostface, Spirit or Trapper because every other killer causes constant freezes that make them unplayable. Even uncloaking as Wraith causes the game to freeze for 2 seconds, making his speed boost useless. Really sad that this is the anniversary event and I feel like I can't even properly participate.
-
Her eyes are super weird, they make her look like an alien.
-
I'd say Cowshed is more broken. Haddonfield at least has a good basement.
-
Except for Ghostface and Oni, all the killers I play are on the last two tiers lol.
-
Farming is boring. I just want to play the game normally.
-
Losing stalk progress just for looking at him makes no sense. Survivors could just spin their camera around and lose progress? What makes him a decent killer is that he can 99 survivors to expose them when they are at weak positions. If you nerf this then every survivor will make it to a strong loop before GF exposes them.
If you're going to do this to him then he needs a massive buff to his power recovery, so he can utilize it more in chase.
-
The only reason to prestige a character is if you like the bloody clothes. The only killers I prestiged were Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly and Nurse because their bloody cosmetics are super cool and they actually feel like bathed in blood. Everybody else just seems ketchup was poured into them so I don't bother. Kind of funny how prestige cosmestics were cool back then and got worse.
-
I main Ghostface and Wraith so the map is perfect for me. Love stalking that main hall from the upper floor. Unfortunately I can barely play the map because PS4 DBD is kind of bad right now.
-
PS4 here on SA servers, playing at late evenings. If I turn off my crossplay I just get matched with the same 10 sweaty SWFs, I already faced every single one of them and remember their names, but they aren't even enjoyable to go against. The queues are somehow fast because there are like 5 other killer players with cross off.
-
Claire's eyes and eyebrows are super weird, she looks like an alien.
