I freaking loved these ideas. You have my upvote my man.

I mean it's more advanced than Pyramid Head's power. At least it can tier up and stuff. Pyramid Head just has a shockwave attack.
It's a shockwave that goes through walls though. You can do pretty cool shots with it, especially with range addons.
-
Give him a speed buff and longer duration during Frenzy so it can be a map traversal mechanic.
-
Both are extremely overrated killers that survivors refuse to use more than 2 braincells to play against. So yeah.
-
Just keep baiting the killer quickly pushing the unhook button until he hits you. This will be even easier now that fake grabs will be turned into hits in the next update.
-
Body from the rift + mask from the winter outfit + base weapon recolor
-
Shack is in a weird spot right now. It's incredible strong against half of the killers with weak antiloop, but the other half makes it useless.
-
I think we'll have two more years of DLC every 3 months. 32 killers and 35 survivors. I don't find it realistic we'll have more than that.
-
In my opinion getting a "stealth stab" (hitting a survivor with NS active) or downing a marked survivor should automatically fill 50% of his power meter. This way you reward good GFs who make excellent use of his power.
Alternatively, make his recovery 20 seconds and rework Chewed Pen.

- The less whining the better. I dislike streamers who complain too much, and also those that scream a lot;
- RedsGamingGears and Anaxandra are the only ones I watch nowadays, both are very chill and stream at the only free time I have;
- 15~30 minutes at max.
- I watch while doing college activites that don't require much thought, so it depends on these. It can be anything between half an hour to 4 hours;
- Killer. Survivor gameplay is too boring to watch;
- Same thing;
- I don't really care about thumbnails, but I dislike those that put those huge red circles and arrows everywhere.
-
The worst thing is that it wasn't like that before. It used to work with any kind of down and even then it was barely used. It was supposedly "buffed" but in fact got changed into a level where only Nurse, Spirit and Hag can use it effectively, as if these killers need help.

Literally just Billy
Since when can Billy maneuver his chainsaw around anything with a smaller charge time?
-
His oppressive 1v1 is completely intended imo. That's why the chain mechanic exists. His speargun is so strong that they had to add something to compensate how frequently he gets shots.
If you nerf something in his 1v1 you might as well get rid of the chain and give him infinite range + instant damage after landing a shot like Huntress.
Edit: the only change he needs is his name. I love playing as him but come on, I cringe hard whenever I read "Deathslinger". Just call him Gunslinger or Outlaw goddamit.
-
Multihits instadowns were a mistake. Bubba would still be equally as strong if he only could hit a single survivor at a time.
-
Disable it while running. Makes no sense to run without making sounds.
-
He needs a small buff to his charge time or at least get old Primer Bulb and Spark Plug back without stacking. Oni and Blight can almost instantly charge their special attacks and Bubba can initiate an almost 10 second instadown dash in 2 seconds, so why Billy has to charge for 2.5 seconds to run in a straight line? He's kind of a joke to loop now and his chainsaw only punishes greedy survivors.
It's kind of funny to think they completely gutted Billy's addons and shortly after released Blight. Just look at Alchemist Ring, Iri Tag, Compound 33, Compound 21 and Blighted Crow/Rat. Insanely strong addons with no downsides whatsoever. It's like they wanted to kill an OG killer to sell the DLC ones.
-
I played the first game and never understood the hype this series has. After the first 5 cheap jumpscares the game gets boring really fast.
-
Ghostface, Myers, Leatherface are faithful.
Everybody else is kind of meh. I always thought PH would be better as a semi-stealth killer that torments his victims with map distortions than a pure chasing killer with a hook gimmick. His TR should have been a static radio.

if you play killers like hag or nurse the same way as others, you are playing them wrong.
Hag and Nurse still have to learn tiles, map layouts, which gens to defend, how to identify weak links, build synergy etc. This is basic killer gameplay.
What changes with these two killers is knowing effective trap placements with Hag and mechanical skill with Nurse, this is the other 20% I talked about. These can be achieved with a few hours on both.
I might not play them at the highest level possible, but I still win majority of my games with both, so I wouldn't say I play them wrong :)
-
No point using them when every match has a DC and nobody gets more than 20k. When the penalty gets back on I'll start burning them.
-
It's useful if you're like me and doesn't like traditional looping. Incredible useful for scratch mark jukes and stealth, although imo Fixated is better.
-
You can easily play all of them and still win consistently. 80% of killer gameplay is the same, even for very different ones like Hag, Nurse and Blight.
-
From my experience they tend to be the most toxic players. If they have a flashlight, 90% of the time they'll click it all the time and send you "EZ" after the game ends regardless of the result. Before the DS nerf all of them would run it with UB and chase you after being unhooked.
-
One critical point is the time frame of this infographic. It says on the lower part it's in game data from 2017 to 2021, so you can't really draw any type of conclusion from it as the game balance changed a lot in those 4 years.
-
I love using it on Ghostface. You can get 3 stacks while 99ing everybody. I wish it was a bit buffed so I could use it on other killers.
Btw, gotta love how a single Trickster knife consumes a token, but literally killing a survivor with Tombstone Myers doesn't.

Ruin, Undying, Pop, Corrupt, NOED and Tinkerer builds incoming

They actually said that the fix will be released with the mid chapter update (so probably the 27th of July).
They never said that. On the patch notes the part about console performance is listed under the "known issues" part. It might take even longer.

From Reddit, this forum, youtube comment, having 3 discord group in my native language playing DBD & the official discord server. Those killer are disliked by a vast majority of player.
These things you mentioned are not even close to 90% of the playerbase.

- Some killer have very similar mechanic and it's fair to compare them.
- True
- Well it does matter. It's not healthy for the game to have easy killer that are also strong. It's boring and painful to play against, hi spirit.
- Yes and no. 90% of the player base hate playing Deathsliner, Spirit &Twins. When such big part of a community universally hate something there's a reason why and the dev should look into it.
- It's true to an extent but: you don't have control over RNG nor do you have control over your team mate, especially when playing with random. Also you don't choose where you get chase nor do you have control over other survivor creating dead zone by dropping all pallet in a specific area.
Where did you get this 90% data? Or it's just a made up number to justify your argument? Be aware that things like Reddit and this Forum are not even 10% of the playerbase.

Everyone stacked charge add-ons because it was extremely easy to do, it's not like you had to really go out of your way to do it.
With Spark Plug (brown) and Primer Bulb (yellow) stacked, you already had 30% faster charge time. You also had Tuning Guide which did basically everything at once.
Blame the devs for making a bad job, not the players for wanting to use strong stuff. All they really needed to do was make things not stack and change the rarities a bit and it would have been fine, but instead they went from one extreme to the other like they usually do.
I actually agree the charge addons should stay or they at least should have buffed his charge time a little. I'm just saying every Billy back in the day would try to slug everyone with Infectious and instasaw, so it's actually understandable when the devs added a red bar to limit his power and got rid of charge time addons. Was it the right nerf? Of course not.
-
The truth is that he was nerfed because every Billy was running instasaw and trying to slug everyone at 5 gens with Infectious Fright. From my experience (it isn't much, I started playing in 2019), almost every other match was Billy and they all played the same way: slug everyone at 5 gens. This of course probably sent his kill rate through the roof, I wouldn't be surprised if he had the kill rate that Freddy had last year.
So yeah, you can blame Billy players for the Billy nerf 🤷
-
Perks are there to be used. It's not your job to satisfy anyone with a non meta build.
-
Survivors: the fun part of the game is being chased
Devs: add a perk that encourages early chases
Survivors: :o

the frame rate issue came before the event, tho, it started when they released the RE chapter
The coding for the event was added during the RE chapter, they just turned it on during the day (hence why there was no update). Check DBDLeaks if you don't believe me.
-
To be honest, I think a lot of problems of the game came from adding the event into the code. So yeah, I hope they don't extend it. More days to the rift would be nice, although I'm glad I grinded it out before RE chapter.
-
The harsh truth nobody wants to admit is that Billy needs a buff to his chainsaw charge time. Or at least give old Primer Bulb and Spark Plug back without stacking. His current charge time is a joke and only punishes greedy survivors who don't know the right time to drop pallets or abuse a window loop. Without Bambozlee you might as well turn him into a M1 killer who moves at 230% between chases.
Blight and Oni are way much better killers because their powers have very minimal charge times. Oni even has an addon that halves his charge time without penalty. Meanwhile the devs think a minimal buff to his charge time through an addon should give him a penalty of being 110%, ridiculous.
-
Imagine caring what others think.

Hate to tell you. But that's exactly what games do eventually. And even companies themselves. Games stopped supporting PS3 at some point. As did Sony itself. The same will happen for PS4. The same will happen for PS5 someday. No refunds given. Just because you bought it for a particular platform. PS4 is outdated and some day. Probably sooner then you'd like. There will be no support for it
Except PS3 online games only stopped support after PS5 was released. A mediocre game like DBD stopping support when we are less than a year into the next gen would be super lame, especially when we still have new games which are still exclusively released for PS4/XONE and other way more demanding multiplayer games which have stated their support for last gen.
-
So there's no update today. They are leaving the changes for the midchapter which drops by the end of the month. Wouldn't be this the time to put PTB into consoles? So we can actually have an idea of how the game will run?
Anyway, I said on a previous post my last tolerance day was the 15th of this month. As a mod confirmed we're not getting anything until then, I'm uninstalling DBD today. I'll probably keep lurking here on the forums to see if it gets any better. Good luck to you all.
-
Imagine the chaos it would be if Warzone froze constantly at consoles for 1 month and a half. But considering how people are delusional on this forum someone will probably say we need to upgrade to a PS5/Series to run a 5 player game with mediocre graphics. Embarrassing.
-
No point wasting cakes when people are DCing for anything now that the penalty is disabled. I'll throw them out when the penalty is back again.
-
This isn't so bad, it would make a nice Clown skin. For an actual survivor though? It's terrible.
-
Imo he needs either the laceration decay to go or straight up make him 115%. Preferably the first option. Reducing the number of knives to down doesn't solve his problem which is being a tunnel vision killer. There's almost no reason to drop a chase with Trickster because any knives you throw that didn't result in a health state go to the trash bin.
I would keep the number of knives to down at 8, maybe even nerf the USB addon, but in compensation get rid of laceration decay. This way you turn him from a mediocre 1v1 to a strategic 1v4 killer who can slowly build laceration across all survivors and prepare a snowball. It also adds up into the survivor gameplay: should I risk doing this gen in an open area or going for this unhook while I'm 2 knives away of being injured?
-
I mainly play stealth killers, probably the best on RPD, and I still think it's a badly designed map. Literally copy and paste from another game will never work out in DBD, and 90% of the other killers barely work on it. Unfortunately I don't think BHVR had anything to do with this, it was probably Capcom, so we're stuck with this mess.
-
My last tolerance day is the 15th, exactly 1 month after the release of the chapter that broke last gen. If it doesn't get at least in the level it was before the update, I'm uninstalling and putting my money into a game that actually functions properly.
I already spent too much money on this game, buying almost every chapter and the Rift. I'm not spending 100 bucks just to run DBD when the other 70 games on my PS4 run perfectly fine.
-
People who think DBD needs a high end PC to run smooth are delusional. Have they ever see any other multiplayer on the PS4/XONE? Apex, Overwatch, Warzone, Battlefront 2, Red Dead Online, GTA Online, Fall Guys, Dark Souls 2/3 PVP, Bloodborne PVP, etc. All these run perfectly fine on older systems, and BHVR is big enough (their anual revenue surpasses even older companies on the market) to optimize this game. It's not like DBD is some kind of coding monster, we're talking about a game which has 10 minute matches between 5 players on medium sized maps.
The only thing they need to do is stop vomiting new content that no one is going to care after 3 weeks at least for 6 months and focus on game health. I'd even support more expensive chapters if they did at least this for once.
-
Spirit funnily enough is the killer that has less framedrops while using her power. Considering survivors teleport when frames drops, I'm actually using Stridor. So yeah, blame BHVR for another Stridor Spirit main.
-
Definitely an underrated RE. Not the best, but it had its moments. Just hate how this game entire development is making Chris trusting in his teammates again but RE6 throws him into depression again...
