Well, you don't seem that bad mannered (if anyone doesn't know, OP's name means that on Portuguese).
-
Ngl I do this all the time. Yesterday my team let me hit struggle only to do a single gen (we were still at 4) so at endgame I left an Ash die even though killer was not camping and I had BT lol.
-
I like her skins. Since her reworked model her base outfit and recolors are insanely beautiful imo.

I think movies are actually scary but in dbd he looks funny lol. The fact that he is not that threatening and strong doesn't help.
It's the same problem with Nemesis. They gave him his running animation from RE3 but he actually only moves 0.6m/s faster than a survivor so it makes him look goofy. At least Pinhead just walks.
-
How is a killer using his power a "spam"? That's like saying Huntress spams hatchets and Nurse spams blinks.
-
So are we just going to ignore how he kept randomly chasing Tinkerer notifications instead of actual survivors? Hit and run only works against uncoordinated solo teams, don't know what he expects using this playstyle at this level.
High level DBD isn't balanced ofc, but less than 1% of the playerbase plays at this level so it's not like the game doesn't have bigger issues right now.
-
Talk for yourself, I'm still playing my PWYF Ghostface.
-
Just because I was on a Nurse vibe recently... Can't have ######### in the fog.
-
I have no problems with locker saves, but survivors kind of brought this upon themselves doing those double locker FL saves mOnTaGeS.
-
3 months of this map and I'm pretty sure it stayed more time disabled than active.
-
I'm having way more fun with both sides.

Do you feel that is how the community reacts, or that this is how you would treat it? I feel like this is why new killers come out weak and need adjustment up. Maybe I am wrong.
I feel devs don't create a killer thinking about how weak or strong it is going to be. If that was the case we would consistently have S tier killers released because it would make huge profit for them. I remember after Trickster came out that Almo said on a stream they had the next 4 killers already in mind, so it's safe to say they come with a design and release it with a functional gameplay. After some time, they probably check if it is underwhelming (like Trickster or Nemesis), or overwhelming (like Nurse and Spirit).
-
That's simply untrue. Nurse, Myers, Spirit, Legion, Oni, Pig and Pyramid Head were all stronger on their post-release versions.
There's no threat of a lawsuit because when you buy a DLC you agree with BHVR's EULA that characters can be changed at any point in time. Just look what happened with Freddy, even though he obviously got buffed when he got reworked, a lot of people are firmly believers that he lost his identity.
-
Someone who is probably playing super chill but way better than the person calling them sweaty.
-
My boy Ghosty on A tier makes me happy
-
My theory is that Twins are sitting right now at a very high kill rate. Unlike Trickster and Nemesis, they are a very strong killer, even though they feel sluggish to play, so the devs must be afraid to give QoL for them (just like with Nurse).
That's kind of a bummer because Twins are one of their most creative designs, the only killer since Demogorgon that deviates from the "ranged attack" or "running fast" stereotypes. They should have been very fun for both sides, but they do need a lot of polish.
Edit: are you the lore guy from Youtube? Your videos are amazing!
-
Because people will just do the same thing they did with the old system. Instead of looking at the quality of the match, they are just going to say "I have ___ MMR and I'm getting paired with people with ___ MMR" even though the match was balanced.
-
The moment this game forces me to play solo survivor late at night I'll just close the game and do something else. Not going to wait 5+ minutes on queue to get teammates who bought the game last week.

Dead Hard seems to be working okay on killer's perspective. This match was overall better than the one on RCPD, only had very few minor freezes. Maybe it's worth investigating performance issues on that map.
-
I don't like playing with a "gen control" mindset. I like to play chase focused using passive slowdown and information perks, so I end up doing this all the time. I have like 1,8k hours on killer and still don't know how to do a 3 gen lol.
-
He reminds me of Clown. Super spammy power that doesn't really do nothing. Not even mentioning the box thing is super anti-solo queue.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
why play pinhead for the skill when you can play nurse
why play pinhead for the power type when you can play clown/freddy
why play pinhead for the immersion when his voicelines are gone
why play pinhead
That's a problem we have since the last 8 killers or so tbh.

I still haven't played today but all tests the matchmaking worked fine for me and I didn't wait out longer for matches, maybe a bug?

Way to make assumptions.
I didn't buy the DLC and don't intend to if this is the way BHVR is going to operate. I'm not complaining because I feel cheated. I'm complaining because I WANT to be able to get excited about future DLC. If BHVR is going to give players the bare minimum then I'm not going to buy any more DLC. The issue is that I WANT to WANT the DLC. I like this game and want to continue liking it. That is why I want BHVR to do better.
Doing the bare minimum does not make them immune from criticism. The PTB created expectations and BHVR knew those expectations were going to be broken, they could and should have handled this better.
If you really want BHVR to do better, accusing them of "misleading buyers" is NOT the way to go. You're free to do criticism, but the way you guys are doing it isn't meaningful in any way, in fact it hurts the game on the long run.

Because a company should want to be transparent with their consumers. People go to the patch notes expecting things like mechanical changes, not changes to the theme of the character. I do think this is misleading buyers since the main exposure people have to the killer is what was seen on the PTB. If BHVR doesn't want to be accused of misleading buyers, it should be on them to provide proof that that wasn't the intention. If they do the bare minimum to get the information out, they're covering their asses legally, but misleading buyers from every other standpoint.
"People go to the patch notes expecting things like mechanical changes" which is wrong. Everything can be changed from the PTB.
"I do think this is misleading buyers since the main exposure people have to the killer is what was seen on the PTB". Then that's the fault of those who don't know things can be changed from PTB and bought the chapter on day 1 without reading the patch notes. I don't know why BHVR should be responsible for bad buying practices.
"If BHVR doesn't want to be accused of misleading buyers, it should be on them to provide proof that that wasn't the intention" No it isn't. The one who accuses should be the one to provide proof, and until now you haven't proved anything that it was their intention to mislead buyers. Again, the DLC never stated "this killer is going to have voice lines".
If you don't approve BHVR's attitudes, stop buying things, especially on release day. I'm not satisfied with the current situation on consoles, so I didn't buy neither the RE or Pinhead chapters. If you're going to complain about BHVR misleading buyers and you still buy them on release day without reading patch notes, you're not really making a point.

You're talking about obligation again. I'm talking about what they SHOULD do if they care about their customers. You seem more concerned with what they HAVE to do to avoid a fraud lawsuit. Legally, they have no obligation to keep the game running at all. They could shut it down tomorrow like they did with Deathgarden. Are you saying people wouldn't have the right to complain if they did that?
It would have been extremely easy for them to send a tweet or make the information more visible then burying it in the patch notes, but they didn't. They deserve criticism for doing so.
Why should they have to make a huge announcement out of this? Patch notes as I stated are everywhere, and the information isn't "buried", it's in the official way of BHVR communicating updates. I don't see why making a huge fuss out of it. The only things they should communicate are changes/bugs that weren't listed on the patch notes, like disabling RPD.
You can complain if you want to, I never said you can't, just don't go accusing a company of "misleading buyers" when you have no proof it at all.

Right and that's why BHVR is not legally responsible. But they know that people watch those streams to see what the new killer is like and they decided to do the bare minimum to inform the playerbase of the change.
This isn't fraud, they are allowed to change things from the PTB. But if they make a controversial change that the know players are going to be annoyed about and then hide that change away as one line of the patch notes, they deserve the criticism they get for that decision.
Now the players will have to check the patch notes carefully every time there is a release to see what was removed, the trust is gone. BHVR could have just been a little bit more transparent, but they decided not to be. Probably because it would hurt sales.
Every game includes its changes on the patch nothes, and those are put everywhere. Twitter, Facebook, Forums, Instagram and even when you open the game it's literally the first thing you see. They have no obligation of making a huge post on Twitter saying "hey guys sorry but we removed the voice lines!".
If you still buy the chapter without reading the patch notes, then again that's on you. Make it a lesson for anything you buy on your life.

The main advertising DBD gets comes from the streams and videos of their fog whisperers which show a killer with voice lines. That's how they mislead buyers. More people will watch those streams then read the patch notes.
If they cared about transparency, they could have sent a tweet about the voice lines. Putting it in the patch notes is doing the bare minimum to not be on the line for fraud and that's it.
Fog Whisperers are not part of BHVR. They have nothing to do with advertisement. Their main way of advertising a new killer is through trailers, official streams and official social media, and none of those said "hey this killer is going to have voice lines!!!". Everybody should know at this point nothing at PTB is final, it was your choice to believe it was going to be.
-
How did they mislead buyers? When you read the description of the DLC in the store, it clearly states the only thing it has is "New Killer - The Cenobite". It isn't stated anywhere that the killer would come with voice lines.
-
I don't know how powerful he is (I haven't bought him yet because Idk how he plays on console), but he's pretty boring to play against holy crap. 9 out of 10 times you don't even need to dodge the chains because you'll probably reach a pallet before he's able to reach you, and the box thingy is a solo queue killer. Just like Nemesis and Twins he'll probably be forgotten very quickly.

Tbh every game usually has an fov limit up to 120 if it involves first person in some sort of way
Look I just wanna feel fast
What bothers me is that DBD has a very random FOV of 87 degrees. How was this number decided?

I love the random "- scott jund".

Every chapter we've had since Oni (with the exception of Blight) has been complete garbage. The killers suck, the one map we got is currently the worst in the game, and the perks are either complete garbage or completely broken. The people asking for a refund have a reason, and with McLean gone, more of these posts will pop up.
If every chapter since almost 2 years ago suck, why people still buy them on release day?
-
Playing Nurse and Huntress without Shadowborn is now pain. Please devs fix.
-
I thought he was continuously asking you to continue the Redfield bloodline.
-
Because Kate is a cutie.

"Upset" is a strong word. I think people just want understand why change a mechanic that made the game more fun and that it wasn't game breaking (it actually helped against Nurse and Spirit).

Yep and if boon totems are any good everyone will be playing the best killers for getting to said totems:
Sprit, Nurse, Wraith, and Blight.
So much fun making a mechanic that makes more people play spirit am I right?
These killers are already super common nowadays, I doubt someone is going to pick them "man I want to get rid of those boons"
-
Wasn't everyone asking for a period without new content to focus on game health? This patch did have a lot of bug fixes and right now they seem to be focused on the SBMM which is going to be a huge deal for the game.
-
I'm going to give the same response everyone gives when somebody complains about NOED:

dead dawg will return for 5.1.2, or that is the aim
no eta for rpd yet
I just played a match on RPD so they re-enabled it.
-
@MandyTalk unfortunately killer side still needs a lot of improvement. I don't know if it's because RCPD is a super heavy map and Nurse usually causes a lot of freezes, but this match had incredibly poor performance.
https://youtu.be/4NQMmN2yJ8YSloppy Butcher lag.
https://youtu.be/6kiztBdYsr4BBQ stack lag.
https://youtu.be/-RIOiurPx94I don't even know how to explain this one. The flashbang Feng used made me slutter into the stairs and I couldn't move until I blinked out of it.
https://youtu.be/LMRmdVlC9HQUnhook lag.
https://youtu.be/aQmr-bMYDVgGen explosion lag.
Unfortunately nobody used Dead Hard on this match so I couldn't record it on the killers' perspective.
Also, off topic, but is Shadowborn bugged? Wasn't the FOV bigger than that on Nurse?
-
This was one of my favorite things to do against Nurse and it worked even against really good ones. Sadly it doesn't work anymore...
-
@MandyTalk here's some footage from a single match on Ps4 slim.
https://youtu.be/a6S3iWIn7_4Dead Hard seems to be working okay now. Also chases against Pinhead were mostly fine, although I must admit this guy barely used his power.
https://youtu.be/NRDmZfJrDScDestroying a Hex totem used to make the game freeze for 3+ seconds, it didn't happen now.
https://youtu.be/P-X1RLaijNcThe only freezes I had in the match were on hooks/unhooks. This one was particularly noticeable, probably due to the amount of status effects on the right.
Will try killer now.
-
Anyone has already tested Pinhead yet? I want to know if he's playable on controller or causing hitches before spending my money.

Nioh 2 is available on pc yeah. Dunno about danganronpa. Danganronpa is a single player visual novel like game with detective stuff. I really loved the story and characters.
It's always nice to see a fellow Danganronpa player. I love the series.

Mind you I'm not talking about things like adepts, but if I see a Dwight that only got the "level up a character to level 50" 2 weeks ago I'm honestly not going to bother lol.

If they're on PSN I can usually check the trophies. If they have very few of them I usually dodge.
