Meh, it's lacking, but if you leave to buy it when you reach tier 70 there's no reason not to. You get a ton of outfits AND your aurics back.

If you have recharge add ons, sure. But not every GF has them.
I believe he's solid even without recharge add ons. Sure they ascend him a lot, but you can still make use out of his power if you focus more on stalking multiple people instead of commiting on a single down like 99% of Ghostface players do.
-
My boy Ghostie is underrated. He's a solid B.
-
Killer is a thousand times more fun than solo survivor.
-
He seems OP, hope he's only able to carry one trap at base (maybe more with addons).
-
This skin could have been so cool if not for her huge hands...
-
Doctor moves at 3.08m/s when charging his shock. You're literally super buffing him by making it 3.9...
-
I just hate how you can bring an item with good addons and have it basically deleted from the match by the killer simply doing its job. Survivor BP gain is already mediocre at best, so when I bring an item I want to have at least some use out of it. Imagine if survivors had a perk that removed the killer addons?
The perk is not overpowered or anything, but it's extremely annoying.
-
I hate how Franklin's destroys almost every other item but keys as it takes forever for those to lose all charges.
-
Jokes on you, I look down on both.
-
This is my favorite multiplayer game. While I'm not playing a singleplayer I genuinely enjoy DBD.

That's really odd that it hasn't been released yet especially since it's been over a year. Come to think of it, Huntress, Legion, and Dwight were the others featured in that Rift.
Did any of them get their outfits put into the store yet?
Dwight's outfit actually just got into the store.

Honestly none of the add-ons should be garbage in the first place. You're right tho, since I haven't seen the coin work in action. I still think it's highly conditional in theory, and should work with better tolerances at the very least.
I personally feel Iri Coin is one of the most balanced Iridescent addons. It's an instadown made only for good Slingers, so you won't see mediocre ones winning matches for free with it like what happens with Iri Head Huntress or Pinky Finger Clown, nor it's a very situational one like Nemesis or Twins.

Simply, because they're not effective for their respective rarities.
Coin is highly difficult condition to pull off and it doesn't have an indication or aura to guide the condition as possible. As survivor, I've never been downed by the coin when a DS takes it. Too conditional imo.
Missed shots cool down is on the same tier as the perk Relentless. These things aren't worth taking in mid and high rank play Great for beginners tho. These things are quickly replaced by other add-ons and perks that provide haste without the condition of error.
Iri Coin is an incredible good addon when you get used to his Speargun. Getting used to the Sharpshooter range is totally doable and you can position yourself for it. Everytime I bring a Coin I always manage to get at least two downs from it, which imo is enough to make the addon slot worth it.
The missed shot cooldowns are good alternatives when you don't want to spend your reload ones. Even the best Slingers miss more than a few shots per match. It's not an excelent addon, but compared to some of the other garbage that he has I don't think it should be deleted.
-
I started playing DBD in 2019 and I don't really miss how it used to be. In fact I only started really commiting to this game after the update that got rid of some BS windows and reduced overall map size. The only things I miss are old Autohaven and Coldwind because these both got visual downgraded after the rework imo.
But old Nurse with tons of blinks? Infinite windows and every map being basically The Game? People working on gens in your face with DS + UB? Old instasaw Billy slugging everyone with Infectious at 5 gens? These can stay in the past for what I care.
Some of my favorite killers and survivors like Ghostface, Deathslinger, Oni, Blight, Pyramid Head, Cheryl, Felix and Yui are also fairly recent.
-
Twins had the same addon (exposed for 12 seconds after crushing Victor) and it got buffed. No idea how they released this one in this state, especially since nobody uses a vaccine in your face.
-
Second Wind, Detective's Hunch, Make Your Choice, No Way Out.

Why do you care? Play those killers you have fun with. If Trickster is not fun to you, then don't play it.
I never said I care. If anything, it's OP that is troubled because he seems to want people to play mediocre killers.

back to if they feel like having a sort of challenege...
Which again, is the minority of the playerbase.
-
Bad ping, legacy.
Sometimes I dodge some popular SWFs that I know on my region because they never want to play actual DBD but ring around the rosie with flashlights.
-
Buff SWF, nerf solo queue.

Lots of walls, though.
The upper floor of The Game is incredibly open after the rework and Midwich has those huge corridors you can spot the killer 2km away. I can't think of any other map that has this "problem".

every game is casual though. call of duty is casual. the majority of people still try to win when they join a game though...
Because winning is fun, and it all comes down to my point: why would someone want to play a mediocre killer?

i mean it may be a casual game for you. some people are also casually good at games...or thats their idea of fun
It is a casual game for the majority of the playerbase. You gain nothing for "4king with Trapper using only Monstrous Shrine", people only do it for content or because they feel like it.
I personally play Legion simply because I like their power, but if people don't feel like handicapping themselves by playing a mediocre killer, I don't see the problem.

challenge, i play legion so all i can do is m1 still do fine because killers is braindead and holding w scares 99% of survivors into submission
You know this is a casual game, right? There's no need to """challenge""" yourself unless you're a content creator or you feel like it.

That was the update for switch for last tuesday, not a patch for console in general for coming tuesday.
It's literally at the end of the tweet: "With that, we’re shifting our focus to a bugfix patch for all PC & console platforms, currently planned for next week."
This was posted on the 2nd, so he's talking about the week that starts on the 8th. I'm calling the day because updates always come on Tuesday.
Considering it's a 2 week break between updates, it MUST be something related to optimization. Minor changes always come on the week after.
-
Why would someone want to play a mediocre killer ?
-
"It gets so confusing and frustrating to only rely on our ears to guess whether the killer is above or below us when we get no other clue than that."
Most killers are 6ft guys with a huge red light in front of them. Can't be easier than that.

Hellshire Iron: Removes chain. Inflict deep wounds and hindered immediately. (Spear with no chain travels indefinitely)
Iridescent Coin: Reveals aura of hooked survivor for 12 seconds
Barbed Wire: Survivors that break free from the chain leave more pools of blood. If the chain breaks due to another survivor block, that survivor also receives deep wounds
Prison Chain: Lengthens maximum spear and chain reach by 4 meters
Tin Oil Can & Spit Polish Rag: Removed.
Rickety Chain: Same, but makes unique rickety noises.
Why would you change Iridescent Coin? It's his most fun addon, and it's not as bad as people think it is.
Why remove the missed shots CD addons also?
Everything else is nice, I like it.

Where did they announce an upfate for this tuesday?
Twitter. Can't find it right now but it was fairly recent.

Playing killer on Ormond is as bad as it was after the RE chapter. Everything causes the game to freeze on that map.
I hope the update on tuesday will make the game run better...
-
Agreed, especially when Oni and Demogorgon also have map wide sounds and these are not even close to being that loud.
-
I think Starstruck is the worst. A TR based exposed perk on a 110% killer with no mobility and a small Terror Radius.
-
I'm starting to learn the map finally and tbh it's not as bad as I thought it was. Just treat it like Azarov's and never go the side of the map with the library because for some reason that half of the map only has god pallets and the other one only has ######### ones.
-
This week is like the first time I used map offerings in a long while. Going 3 times in a row to this ######### map was my limit.
Not to mention the "sale" is barely a sale at all. By buying a set/character you're saving around 100 Auric Cells. I'd rather take the double BP or XP.
-
Oni is by far the coolest killer in the entire game, both on aesthetics and power. Demon Dash is by far the most fun mechanic in the game. He doesn't have to deal with hitbox BS that Billy and Blight have.
-
I wonder why even bother playing survivor when you find more than half of the killers unfun to go against lol.
-
Most of the rock pallets are super unsafe. You only get looped on those if the survivor is way better than you.
I agree the map is still a bit survivor sided, especially with the size and gen spread, but it's not even close to how it was before the rework.
-
The bare minimum is:
- Make his stalking to be the same no matter the distance. Stalking is something that is supposed to be made while you are hidden, so why is it more effective if you're almost kissing the survivor?
- Remove the stalking cap. Oni can be fed his power infinitely through a single survivor, and Blood Fury is miles better than anything Myers can do.
- T1 is now 110% speed.
- 20% faster pallet breaking speed and pallet stun reduction at T3.
These are things that do not require that much effort imo, but in my opinion he could have some sort of rework in which he's able to change between tiers. You start the match in T2 and once you fill all of your stalk you can choose to stay 60 seconds in either T3 or T1.
-
The problem with DBD is that the 4v1 is heavily tilted towards survivors and the 3v1 and beyond is heavily tilted towards the killer, so killers in general are encouraged to eliminate a single survivor ASAP because, well, it's easier to win that way. Just think that you can have 8 hooks and 2 survivors dead or 8 hooks and all survivors alive, which one is more benefitial for the killer in the state of the game? You even see streamers talking "I should have played dirtier" when they sit at 1 gen, with tons of hooks but everybody still alive.
The only way to disencourage camping and tunneling in my view is making the 4v1 a bit weaker for survivors through things like early game slowdowns and smaller maps. In compensation, make the 3v1 weaker for killers with things like gen repair buff for each dead survivor and maybe some kind of mechanic like the souls in HSH, on which dead survivors can still affect the outcome of a game.
-
Kate and Cheryl <3.
-
It will probably get the Old Ruin treatment and receive a rework. It's a pretty unfair perks against new killers who don't understand how their hits are whiffing and it's very inconsistent due to server issues.
-
Ghostface.
Got revealed by a survivor you didn't even see, without stalking or hitting anyone? 30 seconds cooldown.
99ed the entire team and got two downs? 30 seconds cooldown.
-
Down survivor 1>see survivor 2>slug survivor 1
Down survivor 1>don't see survivor 2>hook
-
Got around 150 with Oni using Pre-nerf Undying, Ruin, Infectious and BBQ.

Because you get a fast heal while doing other important things. Doing totems is important and you're rewarded for doing so.
And with Self Care you're healing by yourself while your team can push through gens. Inner is a bit better because it has the plus of countering hexes, but not by that much imo.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:

There's a reason people say Inner Strength is better, and it's because you can pocket the heal. Yes, it may take time to find the totem, but cleansing a totem is still doing something for the team (countering hex perks). Furthermore, you can cleanse the totem while healthy, leaving the effective time to heal yourself as 8 seconds instead of much more.
It isn't ideal, but it's much better than Self-Care. A MedKit is still better, though.
Overall Inner will still take more time than Self Care, and you almost always have to bring something to find totems as well. Not even mentioning on solo queue people can cleanse the totems before you do.
-
It baffles me people say Self Care is a bad perk but Inner Strength is an excellent one. Time wise Inner Strength takes way more time to get a full heal (searching for a totem + 14 seconds cleansing it + searching for a locker + 8 seconds inside it).
Self Care is not S tier, but it does help because instead of compromising half of your team for a single health state, you're only occupying 1/4 of it. Sure it's better to just take something like Second Wind or a medkit, but the perk is not the garbage people say it is. The problem is when people spend 32 seconds healing but then go down in 15 in chase.
-
I'm usually against map offerings overall, but after playing on this garbage map 3 times in a row, I guess I'll start burning them.
-
Where's your Nemesis streak gameplay against good teams?
