It's odd. I can tell you for certain there's something wrong with it from my vague memories of that cosmetic but for the life of you can't tell you what it is

I need healing with inner healing when my team isn't around, sorry
You can still get 4 Inner Healing procs per game, which combined with a COH and general team healing post-unhook should be more than fine.

They've literally said on these forums about 33 times that you no longer need to supply that information provided you made an in-game report.

I didn't know that this was such a controversial opinion but you're 1000% right
It's always "Why should they care about your fun" in regards to optimal strategies like this and yet always "You should care about our fun" in regards to optimal strategies for gens. I just hate the double standard. Both sides can play in incredibly unfun ways and both sides should have these playstyle decentivised and more fun play styles incentivised.
If AFKing/DCing/Suiciding is frowned upon for ruining the gameplay experience of others, why are other unfun strategies not equally frowned upon? You paid for this game, but so did other people, and because it's a video game then it first and foremost should be about fun.

Referring back to GBK's anniversary stream recap, that would line up with the Halloween date they gave for that.
Yeah I doubt it'll be bots, that's stated for the final update of the year 2022. Maybe we'll finally get the graphical options we were promised in 2019.

Ignore me just writing the wrong comment to you lmfao
If it's any consolation I'm the same. My eyes are terrible and I rely on scratch marks and blood playing killer more than watching the survivor themselves- facing Shadow Step makes me sad, but it really does seem to be working spectacularly so far.

@Slowpeach said:
Yeah it's funny there's discussion about boons and I keep thinking: Even if you combined the other three together would it get used if Circle of Healing didn't exist? Sure, Shadow Step is a nice thing to have in addition to Circle of Healing but on it's own (which you stated) or even with the other two? Not so much.
Oh no I wouldn't run it without COH because it's just an average perk, and you could run OTR/DH/BT/Deliverance or something. But SS helps to augment COH while still providing a nifty little effect by itself when you're healthy, ntm the fact that stealth became much more appealing since 6.1.0. I definitely wouldn't use it without COH, but that's true of any boon. COH is just so cracked and no other boon can stand up to it, and they all need a radius buff to be useful.

@HugTheHag said:
It really depends on the killer player, but Shadow Step works wonders against me. I have bad object permanence and if a survivor leaves my field of vision for any reason I usually need the scratch marks to find them again.
For example, Nurse looking down when in fatigue makes her pretty much unplayable for me, or at least, unenjoyable.
Just had a game on The Game where Shadow Step got me out of like 3 different chases without being hit. Was able to run around a corner, break LOS, and then no scratch marks or aura reading (Wraith with "All Seeing" purple) carried me to victory. Was great fun

People who defend others going out of their way to ruin someone's gameplay experience just because they can are what's wrong with this community, right next to the people who actively do it tbh.

I absolutely remember getting nothing but Nemesis players, with an occasional sprinkling of Blight Nurse and Spirit, for about 2 months. Only then did I finally start to see some diversity, like... More Nurse Blight and Spirit.

Yes. One of my friends has been banned multiple times across multiple accounts for chat offences.
It begins as warnings, escalating into temporary bans, which escalates into a permanent ban.
People can and are banned for what is said in end-game chat, provided it is reported and violates rules.

I still can't imagine why there's people who oppose it didn't they learn from color blindness settings very vew people use it that aren't blind
There was this whole fiasco in a thread by @kizuati about photosensitivity and accessibility and how strobe lighting (among other VFX) isn't integral to horror media and can easily be substituted for a more friendly set of effects, only for people to reply that strobe lighting actually is integral to horror as a whole and people with photosensitivity shouldn't be playing the game.
Then again, more recently, there was another argument about FOV sliders and how binding FOV to a perk is archaic design, only for people to again say that people will use accessibility features (this time revolving around eye strain and motion sickness) for an in-game advantage that other's won't have.
People in this community (at least on the Forums, somehow Twitter is slightly more accepting but not by much) seem to be opposed any form of accessibility because it doesn't directly benefit them, and therefore will be able to be exploited against them for an advantage, completely unaware that they can use these features too.

Duuuude, I tried being sarcastic without using "/s" for the first time.
Failed miserably T_T
Yeah no on these forums tone indicators are a must have or else people will misinterpret the phrase "blessed to be a homosexual" as completely serious.
The fact that there's people who oppose accessibility being in the game at every corner doesn't help your case here

@Akumakaji said:
I recommend Shadowborn to be buffed to also include some gamma correctionl. This way the perk can serv as two graphics options in one, tidy QoL perk. Cool?
Or we can rework Shadowborn and give basic quality of life settings to avoid eye strain and motion sickness as settings instead of forcing people to play permanently handicapped.

If you are the last alive and injured with the killer looking at you with clear line of sight witin 32m, and are running wake up, sole survivor, resilience, and spine chill, you can get the door time knocked down to 2 seconds
Really curious as to how you got that one because I was only able to get it down to 10.52 seconds with all 4 bonuses together.

@OnryosTapeRentals said:
The strategy works well against solo queue but completely falls apart against anyone who knows what you're trying to do.
Slugging Sadako is entirely reliant on the survivors realising too late that they need to transport a tape and lower their Condemnation. As soon as you start downing people and not hooking, most competent survivors will know to keep an eye on their Condemnation and prevent you getting the kill.
...people don't realise they need to look at their condemned?

I've been in solo que ever since I got the game (2 months after it was released) and didn't have that many problems. I get nervous in groups, especially when I'm in red rank and kind of prefer to be on my own. I bring my usual "second chance" perks and usually still play pretty good. I can't imagine what playing in a party is like
More fun because you can have reliable, consistent teammates, chat about random things while playing, and just have a laugh with whatever's going on. 11/10 would recommend if you're able to- it took a friend of mine 3 years to get over her fear of partying up because playing games with others gave her so much anxiety, so if you're unable to then that's honestly fine as well. Especially because you're able to actually enjoy solo (which is a miracle)

The reason for the name change rule is because Vanilla prevents multiple users from sharing a name, and any name ever entered is permanently stored and unable to be used by any other member. This includes previous, changed names (and banned users).
If you want your name changed, or your account permanently deleted, contact a moderator (who'll get you in contact with Mandy) or Mandy herself.

I'm still there because I get a free Twitch sub and Paladins cosmetic, and sometimes I can't afford Waterstones prices and have to resort to Amazon so at least I get next-day delivery on the books. Plus I don't even pay full for it, I split with the rest of my family.

I agree.
The alternative is no reward at all. The people complaining are really just showing that no good deed goes unpunished. We get some awesome skins that anybody who has Prime gets for free (which took designer effort to create). They see positive feedback and want to give more free stuff so they extend the number of Prime rewards. They can't actually put in the design effort on new skins which multiple people have to both come up with concepts, get approved, and then actually created so they try to give a previous Rift skin to new players who missed it. They get blasted for it. They then try to give some free BP (and 400k BP with the new BP changes isn't insignificant) because, again, in game skins was already a huge and unexpected free perk, and now they're getting dragged for it.
BHVR just can't do anything that y'all actually like, can they?
It's 400k bloodpoints, something it costs them nothing to produce, and some dbd players have Prime for these rewards and nothing else.
At least Paladins can consistently give away cosmetics, even if they're just recolours. And recolours would be fine. Store cosmetics, and a rewards of Shards if you already own the cosmetics, also fine. But bloodpoints? And only 400k?
No good deed goes unpunished, and yet this isn't a good deed because it is not free and they are being paid for this partnership. People enjoyed the partnership because they got things with actual value.

I feel like they should tone down the percentages to be at the exact same level as pre-6.1.0 but I honestly don't mind it that much. Once I know it's in play I can play around it fairly decently (in other words stop factoring in the speed boost to routing because I just won't get any distance from it). A welcome perk to see instead of the usual quad regression and it incentivises chases rather than facecamping which is always a nice bonus

You know that it's entirely possible to just not like someone and subsequently not want to give them money right? Y'all need a reason for every little thing when honestly you can just not like someone and that's fine.

And a TINY change in FOV is gonna make all that difference?
Actually, yes.
Resident Evil Village is set to an FOV I can't play it at without serious motion sickness. Increasing it to Re7 values allows me to play it perfectly fine.
Fnaf: security breach is another game I couldn't play or even watch gameplay of without wanting to hurl. Increasing the FOV marginally suddenly allowed me to play the game without issue.
Tiny FOV changes, depending on setup, can make all the difference.
-
I love how you can tell which people in this thread don't have motion sickness and have never had to deal with it
-
@Ghoste said:
I see it as a balance thing. Wider FOV provides an advantage, hence it being a perk. I mean it’s good enough that some of you never take it off, so clearly it is valuable. Sorry for you people with motion sickness though.
Is it that some people never take it off because it's good or because they physically cannot play killer without it?

@KerJuice said:
They nerfed DH wrong. They even said it themselves that they were looking at the “third health state.”
I always said the best way to fix it, was to take away its iFrames. Make it so it could only be used for distance, and if survivors were not careful- killers could down them during the animation. I would have even gone as far as slapping on an additional 30-45 seconds for the exhaustion penalty, so if the killer did a quick slug & that survivor got right back up quickly- killer wouldn’t have to deal with DH again.
The third chance is the biggest problem with it now, and even more so before.
I'd argue the opposite. I was always far more frustrated when DH was used for distance over it being used to dodge a hit. Yes, it was frustrating still, but being cheating out of a hit through no fault of your own (distance) felt worse.
I'm glad that they kept the dodge a hit and removed the distance. It's far healthier now than it ever was, especially since the timing is so narrow.
