I'm pretty sure i saw someone say it was hillbilly/blight and Jake and someone else. Don't remember the other survivor.

I never said it didn't happen.
And if you get frustrated/offended by flashlights and t-bagging, that's a you problem. Not a them problem. Lighten up on your delicate sensibilities.
You seem to misunderstand what i mean. I mean when THEY are purposely acting rudely to ruin the match for the killer. I'm giving examples of what they do.
-
i feel like the perk should be active for either 60 seconds or if you get healed to full without using it. It's really annoying downing someone with full health after hooking another person only for them to have ds still available.

Most of the time, it's not SWF ruining your killer matches. It's mostly yourself ruining your killer matches.
99% of SWF's are just people shooting the proverbial **** with their buddies. The amount of tryhard SWF's are the 1%. Chances are, and statistically speaking, if you're losing to all SWFs, you really need to get better; and you can. DBD is a fairly easy game to play on either side. You can do it:)
It is on the more rare side to get an actual group that is out to ruin your day but trust me it does happen. I'm talking all the survivors got the same annoying perks and are running flashlights tbagging after every pallet they drop and pointing at you, bodyblocking or saboing hooks constantly. It's a bit frustrating when you get those people. They aren't that common i think in like 40 games i had 2 or 3 games with people who acted like that.
-
You know every community has those toxic people. I've played the game for over 2.5k hours and i've seen a lot of bad from the community but not as much as another game i've played for just over 600 hours. The toxicity here does not compare to other games.

Incoming complains from every killer main when DS gets fixed.
Ugh. Have you noticed no one is complaining about DS on the forums at the moment?
It's still annoying when i down someone else and the guy who i hooked prior who is now fully healed gets found, downed and dstrikes me. I feel like it should deactivate upon healing to full.

just give them 3 shots at unhooking yourself then no more
so give them attempts without penalty?
-
@MusicNerd_TC said:
Also, remove the ability to suicide on hook.
how would you say the go about doing that exactly? considering you could actually make a build revolving around unhooking yourself and also this isn't as bad as dcing as dcing can hinder a killer by taking away tokens on their perks and such and survivors get a little extra time to do stuff.

Wouldn’t tunneling off of first hook with a mori get you more dc’s than just playing normally anyway?
if you're in the mori animation when they dc it still counts as a kill.
-
I think linked outfits are more of a way to give unique outfits that otherwise couldn't be there because pants height, hoods, etc. I mean honestly the feng min bunny hoodies could've been way better if they were linked with the head/torso but that's just my opinion.
-
yea it's definitely annoying to play killers with less than optimal perks, especially the weaker killers.

Because thats so difficult that you need to bring the most OP Offering in the game.
i mean it's not exactly difficult it's just why not opt for an easy route compared to the much harder 3 hook or risk the survivor dcing when you're about to hook them a third time (this happened to me a few times when i was doing the challenge).
-
It's the most fun challenge of them all

I've always looked at it the way survivors always refuse to leave the map by hanging out in the exit gates. Same issue.
This. It's kind of saying you're definitely not escaping. I would feel bad about doing it or having it done but the amount of times i play killer and people are at the exit gates just waiting to crouch spam until time runs out or i hit them is astronomical.

Why did you make another post within the same hour as your last one about the same topic?

-
i feel like the gens going by in under 5 minutes isn't totally the killers fault no matter how you cut that.
-
It is a Player vs Players game. Of course it will be competitive. No one likes to lose(die on hook/get no kills). Sadly i find that when i play survivor it's extremely relaxed and such and i do absolutely fine. As killer though, against some groups i have to either sweat hard or get gen rushed and tbagged/looped the entire match.
-
Do you want the game to be unplayable? because i know on my old computer when they had the christmas event the lights around lockers and generators made my frames drop awfully. I could only imagine how water would be since they'd have to full design that from scratch plus the swimming animations.
-
hmm not calling him bad but calling him bad i see. Also you don't need add-ons to make ghostface "good" you just have to play him a certain way. I don't think the killer is amazing or bad i think he's fun to play.
-
depends on your rank. yellow, grey, and green you basically have to just do a minimal amount to pip. purple and red are a bit more but again it's not hard. Honestly they've made it really hard to depip and it's probably easier to safety pip than depip at most ranks.

My game has been acting very weird since the update too. I've been getting these stutters along with a weird bug where at least one person in the match just bugs out and it makes me wait about three seconds to put them on the hook. I played five killer matches earlier and had both issues every match so it seems very consistent.
i've had zero issues and i've been playing for 6 hours today. Some survivor and some killer.
-
Even yui and Oni had one i had hoped they would have one for the new chapter could've been nice.
-
I had this issue before. Restarting my computer fixed it.
-
There's been no notification but i have heard them scream.
-
I found that lunging while using his lethal rush kind of makes it so you'll miss most of the time if they turn where as just a simple click of the button to swing will instantly hit them.
-
eh he needs an add-on that breaks pallets that isn't ultra rare. Something i found is lunging with him in his power is usually bad.

Everything definitely still looks like a potato; with the jarring clash of artstyles, colors, lighting, fog, and everything in between, it honestly looks and plays like a game in beta.

My mouth drops, oh, yes. And then I proceed to think, "What the **** is this trash?" Please be aware that AA continues to ruin the experience of the jarring visuals.

I just dropped them at the hatch and closed it, and hooked them. Like I said I didn't like doing it, and I would always apologize and explain why I did it after the match.
EDIT: I'm actually a fair killer most of the time, unless you're playing as a Nea. I don't go out my way to play fair against Nea's.
"sorry i t-bagged you in the exit gate i needed chases for my challenge/ritual."
-
it's not bannable or else most new players would be in trouble considering i see people do this a bit. Not with a key but just hide in general.
-
were you using a lens? When i used one recently it really made my flashlight not work properly.
-
MMR would be hard for this game as what constitutes a win in your eyes could be considered a loss to it or vice versa. I really don't get how they could correctly make it so it works in dbd without having a ton of games all out of whack.

Since some recent killers have gotten bonus brutality scores for using their power (ghostface, oni), should older killers get an update to have the same treatment?
For example, if a billy or leatherface downs with a chainsaw, should they receive an extra 500 brutality under "chainsaw hit" maybe similar to ghostface?
Or even if a survivor is insta downed with the exposed status the killer could be rewarded an extra 500 points like ghostface is.
I ask this with skepticism bc killers w/extra brutality points don't get deviousness simultaneously, and the lack of brutality can discourage killers from using their power every time. But I still think that adding extra points for insta downs wouldn't be too harmful.
What do you guys think?
For chainsaw i would say yes because it is a power ability that does it, for the survivor just being exposed, no because it's just you using your perk. Myers really needs the 500 extra points from exposed. you can double pip as myers and get under 20k points maybe under 15k.
-
Basically survivors have a hard time loop-locking her so they get upset.

It just occurred to me that this would pretty much guarantee extremely fast hex totem destruction if every Survivor had the perk loaded, so I've changed the OP to exclude hex totems from this Small Game buff.
Regardless I'm tired of people complaining about bones (mostly due to Noed). A solution needs to be implemented, this is the simplest fairest way I can see it done as the solution requires a perk slot for a mostly unused under powered perk.
you see i'd agree with that but then what use would NOED be? first killers complained the totems were too easy to find which honestly they were, so the devs hid them better. Now it's survivors can't find the totems and are complaining about NOED (which they complained about before the totems were hidden better). I don't think totems are super difficult to find save a few maps but again risk/reward perk.

I've just been watching Zubat struggle for the last hour or so trying to get Clown's. When I left his stream he still had not gotten it.
What rank killer is he? if he's in red ranks he needs an almost flawless game (3 iri and 1 gold minimum i think) to double pip as killer there.
-
i feel like that would give almost too much information about where the totem is. Is it really that difficult to find within a rather small cone in front of you?

Just curious which Survivor "skin" you play the most. Since I'm trying to finally put a bit more time into survivor side, mine is Laurie.
Why?
My avatar should explain that. 😁
either kate or feng. Whether people like it or not the girl characters have an advantage by being shorter so it's a bit harder to see them when hiding at some points. if you want a quiet survivor, ace is the quietest of all of them.
-
I feel like you don't really get how weak it actually makes you to lose that 5% movement speed on a mouse 1 killer. The trapper getting traps would make him extremely overpowered. where would he be getting traps from?

I was rank 4 with the survivors (I think)... I know that when survivors are united they can be invincible using skills like DS....
While the killer is busy with "troll the looper", the others will make the generators. If I let go of the looper I'm sure I won't find the others, and if I find them they know how to looper... that's what I've learned as a survivor.
Whatever I do if they all know loop...🤣
i mean the games been out for 4 years and loopings been the meta for most of that time. Just play broken killers like nurse or spirit.

Yeah, there are some challenges in the Tome that make me consider just buying a tier in the Rift. I've been working on Meg's Vault challenge for about 2 days and I just had to move on. If you stop having fun, what's the point? 🤷♀️
you know you can vault the same wall or pallet as long as the chase music is playing it will count.....

If you've played survivor you know what killers will deal with. Idk why this is news to you.

Yes, that's how I've got it on Billy on 1st attemt, but on nurse... the best result was hatch escape... but he's only got 1 hook.
And no, I'm not gonna slug.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1586710#Comment_1586710
I mean I'm trying it at rank 16 and it looks like I can't get down to 17 (I managed once but not sure how). And then I still face purple ranks.
"Wait several months" - impossible at this point.
It's not overly difficult to get merciless at yellow ranks. Also slugging is probably your best bet as nurse is really good for doing that.
-
Protection hits are within a certain distance of an injured survivor. i think it's like 8 meters or something maybe shorter. A guaranteed way is to take a hit while unhooking, then get downed after the unhook. You would end up getting 2 + 1 stack of wglf if the survivor stays not knocked down again long enough.
-
None of these challenges are exactly hard just a little time consuming like the having people survive. The hook obsession 8 times seemed like it would be more time consuming but i did it in a single match using furtive chase.
-
I don't really believe unbreakable or Dead hard are second chance perks. Borrowed time is more anti camp/tunnel perk and isn't too awful right now. Adrenaline is a bit of a iffy one as it only activates once all gens are done or hatch is closed and gives you exhausted if you didn't already have it. These perks are fine it become an issue when multiple people are running adrenaline in the same match which is frustrating to see everyone go from injured to healed.
The only real second chance perk survivors truly get is DS which i feel should deactivate if you get healed to full or do an action for x amount of time after being unhooked.
-
You're not entirely wrong... I guess the only incentive for killer is more points. I find survivor to be a super relaxed role for me.
