I pity anyone who would willingly spend an hour and 20 minutes on a hatch stand off.
-
I just wait. If I know nobody is coming for me, or won't make it to me before I hit struggle phase, then I try the 4%.

Hey, let's work on gens when our teammate is dying. Sounds good?If you are at a point where you can finish the generator before the survivor reaches the 2nd phase or dies then go ahead and finish it.

Why waste your SB when you can be saved before you die or reach struggle, unless they actually do die or end up struggle phase then yes they are annoying.
But overall I hate the survivors that unhook you immediately when its Freddy.
Screw your sprint burst. That can regenerate. A dead survivor cannot.
-
If you want a sneaky killer then play Michael, Wraith or the Pig.
-
I can't stand Noob3. A stain on the Dbd community.

You're entitled to your stupid opinion, Lowbei.

I love Bond. Very useful perk for seeking out other survivors working on gens, or if they are injured and need healing. If I am being chased, I see survivors working on a gen in the distance then I run the other way so they won't be interrupted.
-
I think it was a PSN issue, because my friends and I tried to play another multiplayer online game (Killing Floor 2), and we couldn't form a party lobby on that either.
-
In Ireland. Cannot find a lobby at all. Cannot even set up a SWF lobby or KYF lobby.
-
I bought most of Dwight's. I love the lounging ones, as there is something so funny and awesome about Dwight running around in his socks and sweat pants. The hoodies that go with them are very cool, too. The snake oil charmer one is great. Makes Dwight look like he's from the Wild West. I really like the new sweaters. They go well with the fedora hat and sunglasses head. I bought some of the shirts and ties, too, as well as some of the new pants and shorts.
Dwight did well in the new cosmetics.
-
I don't use DS. One brief window of opportunity to escape the killer's grasp is not worthy of taking up one of my perk slots.

If the guy on hook can hear your terror radius the whole time he is on then yes you are camping.
Unless all the gens that are left are close to the hook as well.
Anyone saying otherwise is biased killer main.
Standing next to the hook is hard camp while "patrol" is not as hard but also is.Truth.
-
HybridPanda. He's terrific. "Lets see if we can find some little sausages to kill".
I occasionally watch PaulieEsther. He's a cool guy.
-
My best; Bond, urban evasion, self care and leadership.
Worst: No mither, pharmacy
-
I fully support this idea.
Pop a titty fo' Dwight.

For the most part I've had lots of fun. Only a handful of bad matches with face camping sad cases. But apart from that its been a blast. Love my new Dwight cosmetics. The Clown is a ton of fun to play against. I've made some insane blood points. Feel like I have earned it back as soon as I spend it lol.
Overall I've really enjoyed it. Last day of it for me today here in Ireland, so better make the most of it before it ends.

Once I died and then stats of the match opened. After I look through it, I decided to became a spectrator. And then this ######### happened to me.
Oh my god lol. Terrifying.

Ruin is good because it slows down the gen repair. Especially if you have a bunch of survivors coming in armed with tool boxes. If you're on a map like the swamp or the Game, its a nightmare trying to find the totems.
NOED is hit or miss, IMO, because a good bunch of survivors will break all the totems. If not for points, then to at least neutralize the possibility of NOED, especially when playing against higher rank killers.

He's actually the easiest killer to win against. Just miss your skillchecks so you wake up.Sometimes it takes forever to get a skill check when in the dream state. Both on a gen or with self care. Best Freddy match I ever had was with a Freddy who was running overcharge lol.

Hey. Been enjoying facing the Clown. PS4 player here so he's new to me as we only just got him on Thursday night. He's a lot of fun. Love that laugh when he hits you.Enjoy it while you can. I couldnt play the first few days after the PC DLC and after these days noone plays him anymore..... We are back to the old meta killers because clown is just a joke compared to them
That's strange. I watch several PC gamers stream on YouTube. They are always going up against clowns. Just last night I was watching one doing the public matches with his friends, and they had about three clown matches.

Everyone plays for their own enjoyment. The only time I question killer tactics is when they camp or tunnel. Is it really fun to stand and watch someone slowly die on a hook while gens pop off left and right? Is that really a fun time for someone, or even a good play strategy?Nah camping isnt fun, but it is necessary sometimes.
Tunneling however is fun indeed, because tunneling is just playing the game normally, but focusing on the already hooked survivor. This is in fact a good strategy and I challenge you to explain why tunneling would be a bad strategy
Challenge accepted. When killers focus on one survivor by tunneling them, they take the heat off the rest of us to get things done. Particularly if said survivor being tunneled is good at duking the killer for a considerable length of time. Usually when a survivor is tunneled its because the killer was camping or "patrolling" very close to the hook, see the hooked survivor get saved and take off after them. Either way they are ignoring the many and focusing on the one just to try and guarantee themselves a kill. Often that works out in the other survivors' favor. I've had many matches where we got the gens done practically uninterrupted because a killer was so focused on one survivor, be it through camping, tunneling, or both. I would actually thank them for giving us the opportunity to escape like that.
As for camping, the only time I think camping is justified is if the exit gates are powered and someone is on the hook.

The Doctor can be annoying with the madness, but I would take him any day over Freddy and the Pig.
-
I am in Ireland, and us Europeans got it midnight on Thursday night like they said we would. I don't know why you guys are getting screwed over like this. It sucks. The whole handling of the latest update has been a mess. PC players get it first, 2 weeks later Xbox players get it, then 9 days after that PS4 players do. Even then only the European PS4 players get it. The rest have to wait another 3 days. And now its not even showing up in the store at midnight.
Ridiculous.
-
I'm on PS4. I've had the map several times with the offerings. Three times in a row my friends and I offered it and got the regular asylum map.
Its a 50/50 coin toss. You just got unlucky those 9 times.
-
The Pig, because most Pig players tend to be campers and tunnelers, even if you have a trap on your head.
Freddy, because you never know which side he is coming from when you hear the lala's, he gets a free hit on you when he puts your under, and he's generally super annoying.

@darktrix said:
Strong tunnel = weak killer. With the exception of obsession perks which give the survivor at least some warning or facing an elite SWF who basically ask for this treatment, tunnelers generally want the easy elimination and are not very confident in their ability to down another survivor quickly. They'll rush back to the hook if not already there to get the survivor who is now an easy to find one shot, ignoring other available targets or generators popping all around them. Campers I don't even consider worthy of being a killer. You'll pip, sure, you'll get your BP, maybe even your 4K - but you'll never evolve into a skilled killer. Tunneling will be the only thing you are ever remembered for, if you are remembered at all.As a killer you decided to become a host for a lobby and invite other players to join you, not the other way around - they don't get the option to see who they are up against until it is too late. Like it or not, there are responsibilities that come with that.
Well said. Campers and tunnelers are the bottom of the pile.
-
The Clown's laugh. He legit sounds like he's having a blast attacking you.
-
Michael just appearing out of nowhere on stalk mode and scaring the bejesus out of you.
-
The Howling Grounds event was the worst I have ever seen the Dbd community. So much toxicity.

If they DC 35% of their games, they get temporary banned.I don't think so. I know someone who is constantly DC'ing on campers, and he is well over 35%. Has been for a long time. He's never been banned.
-
I can understand the frustration with campers. Killers like that are the worst. But hang in there. Not all killers play like that.
I sort of understand the criticism with the maps. A lot of them are forest type settings and I guess people could get a bit fed up of that. But I love Haddonfield, Badham school, the swamp, and Red Forest (the rain is very atmospheric). You also have the Game and Lery's Institute, which along with Haddonfield and the school are a break from the forest maps types.
-
I think it's all been mentioned here;
- Players who snail walk/crouch to a hooked survivor who is close to struggle phase or death, even when they know the killer is nowhere nearby
- Three survivors staying on a gen while someone is on a hook
- Survivors who try the 4% first time they get put on the hook near the start of a match
- Unhooking someone mere seconds after they have been hooked
- DC'ers
-
I understand people's impatience. A big update drops, and only the PC players have it. Its not easy to see a plethora of gameplay videos everywhere of others enjoying all the cool new stuff, and us console players don't even have a fixed date of when they'll be getting it.
-
But not all the survivors can be as handsome as Dwight

To be fair, bond can be useful if you don't want to be toxic and use self care. But leader is terrible
Leader is awesome. Always find it useful.

Michael Myers by far. He's the only one who has given me legit scares.
-
Freddy and the Pig. Loathe them both.
-
They are immature, petty, egotistical people who can't stand losing. Unfortunately the gaming community is full of people like that, and Dbd's has more than its fair share. I wouldn't take it personally. A lot of killer players are subjected to this childishness.
I say that as a survivor main who appreciates a good killer player.
-
Wraith and Leatherface. Wraiths like to go invisible and stand near the hook.
