Freddy has never been S tier. Reverting his nerfs would not "return him" to being S tier. It would simply make him playable.
I never said that he was S tier without those nerfs. All I said was my goal wasn't to make Freddy a super strong killer.

But legit the worst killer to exist.
At least he was unique and didn't have a generic antiloop power. I agree that he was extremely weak, but I feel like his power was very unique, which is worth a lot.

I had another idea for Freddy this was before his rework but I thought it was a great idea. @GeneralV
My idea for old Freddy was he casts out a portal like Pinhead and when he lets go you teleport to that exact location. And when you press the action button Freddy materializes out of thin air and teleports to that location you casted.
I wanted to this cause that’s how Freddy is In the movie. I thought it would be a good idea
That sounds a lot like Nurse

If there's a Steve in my lobby, I will usually let them go unless they are toxic or if I'm just not in the mood to be merciful.
If there's a Scoops Ahoy Steve in my lobby, I will let them go no matter what and I won't lay a finger on them if I can help it. (I won't intentionally never chase them though, seeing as that's a reportable offense. I'll just make a slight effort to avoid them.)
Oh, and if there's a cheater, I will tunnel and camp said cheater (if by some miracle I catch them) and play mercilessly and be toxic towards the remaining survivors if they continue to play as if there wasn't a cheater in the lobby. (If I somehow kill the cheater then I'll just carry on with the match normally.) If the cheater is a Scoops Ahoy Steve I'll attempt to kill them but with tears in my eyes.

So you combine some stuffs Old Freddy and New Freddy. I would take teleport and dream pallets from new Freddy and add to old one. Old Freddy was one of the best DbD designs.
@GeneralV would agree maybe.
Old Freddy was a national treasure

Or just reverse recent Freddy nerfs.
Even then, I've never found post-rework Freddy enjoyable. Instead of trying to make Freddy S-tier, I want to focus on restoring what made Old Freddy unique.

There are only 5 totems per map. Are you saying that expecting each survivor to do a single bone (plus someone doing an extra) is asking too much? Considering how survivor sided the balance of this game already is? I don't believe this for a second.
I'm suggesting that one totem cleansed per survivor (plus an extra) is an ideal situation that will not always happen, especially in a solo queue game.

Nemesis and Artist deserve to be way lower. A trained parakeet could learn how to play these Killers.
Keep in mind that this tier list isn't measuring how hard it is to pick up a killer, it's only based on how much time and effort it would take to master all of the intricacies of the killer's power and play them flawlessly. That's what "skill ceiling" means.
-
I think Huntress should be S, Trickster should be B, Artist should be S, and Bubba should be C.

Noed is only available if survivors neglected to do their secondary objective. If they didn't tunnel gens and each survivor did 1 totem (and one did 2) before doing all 5 gens, then NOED would be denied to the killer.
But that's in an ideal situation.
Let's say that the killer wins a chase, hooks a survivor, then finds another one using a tracking perk or just by chance.
Ideally, for the survivors:
-One is on hook
-At least one is coming for the rescue
-One is being chased by you
-One is on a generator.
To do bones, one survivor has to get off of their gen, which effectively grinds the game to a halt until they get back on it. For just one hex, this isn't a problem, especially because this won't always be how the game plays out. However, when you need to find and cleanse 5 totems for a perk you don't even know if the killer has or not, it becomes a problem. Not so much for an SWF, but almost impossible for a solo Q player to handle.
I personally don't think NOED is overpowered, however I still think that "do bones lol" is a weak argument to defend it.

Believe it or not this game used to be a horror game not a tag simmulator. Survivors we meant to actually fear encountering the killer and had to hide and scurry instead of killers being the party clown/stage hazard that they are now.
and that's why I said that the earlier days of the game were an exception.
-
Saying NOED is only available if survivors "tunnel" gens is just like saying that killing survivors at all is tunneling.

This is a hard conversation to have, for a while (on this forum at least) there were several posts about looping and how un-fun it is, some people also likened it to being an 'exploit' as the developers had never intended you to run around objects, but now we have the issue of killers wanting people to loop (and for good reason because pre-dropping is super boring from a gameplay standpoint and mind-game standpoint) and not drop pallets early.
There's absolutely no way that looping is unintentional. It might have been so in the early days of the game, but now it's absolutely how the game's meant to be played.
-
The bottom three tiers are reserved for killers I don't enjoy because I'm bad at facing them, killers I don't enjoy because their players are usually not nice or just use tactics that are a headache to go against, and Hag.
-
They're just more skilled
-
His perks are really bad but I love him anyway (he's also not technically in the base game but I don't care)
-
It's not because the game is dead, it's because people don't want to deal with high MMR.
-
-The one and only Steve Harrington still blesses us with his presence
-Pinhead and Sadako are in the game at last, I remember when people thought Pinhead in Dbd was a crazy idea
-The meta has finally shifted for survivors, sorta.
-BHVR actually has decent practices with how they manage skins. In a many games, once a skin arrives it's there for about a week and then it's gone until it is brought back. But with Dbd, once a skin gets added it's there to stay (with some exceptions)

My list. Please don’t make me play Billy again, I think I hurt everyone’s feelings after that last game I played as him 😭
I had no idea that you streamed lol

Here's mine, Piggy is right between Mastered and Very Good but since I haven't played her in forever I just put her in Very Good
I also considered putting Pyramid Head higher but I've realized that I'm actually quite bad at him

As long as you talk good about Spirit then I accept it :)
Am I still allowed to stan Steve Harrington

Being a Spirit enjoyer: good
Not being a Trickster, Oni, Legion, Piggy, or Nemesis enjoyer: Goodn't

This is very wholesome! <3

Don't stress about it and just give them the hatch. Unless you don't like them.

I know It is uncredible, but It's hard to me to face Blight and Nurse, even If I'm irisdescent 1. Really rare
In that case, I agree with placing Blight that high.

? Idk where I said that you said he was op.
Sorry, I just felt like your question was supposed to be suggesting that I was a bad survivor (Which is true but that's besides the point) and usually people say things like that when someone's saying a killer is overpowered, not when they're saying they think a killer isn't fun to face
-

Prob cause hes actually good at playing against one.
I never said Blight was overpowered. He's fun to play against under normal circumstances, but because of the meta so many people play him that it gets stale. it's just too much of a good thing.
Besides, I still enjoy playing against killers that I'm bad against. I'm terrible at playing against Huntress, but I still enjoy it.
-
How do you still enjoy facing Blight
-
Is it 4v1? The trailer made it seem like Co-op
-
Most seen: Blight, Nurse, and sometimes a facecamping Bubba.
Most hated: Blight, Nurse, and sometimes a facecamping Bubba.

Thank you

I disagree with that, as someone who regularly wins while facecamping. All it takes these days is No Way Out + Rancor and you are golden. Facecamp for 4 gens, follow the obsession until the last gen is done, rancor them, and then collect a 3rd kill since NWO held the gates during the mori animation. Here's a guy who got to a 50+ streak facecamping post MMR.
Dead By Daylight | Professional MLG Facecamping 69 Live w/ Bubba - YouTube
I would argue that killer in general will never make you friends if you win. 12 hooks or facecamping, the salt will be the same.
Me? I do it because it's easy. And I don't care about survivors having fun. I have played enough killer that the care is totally gone.
And why limit yourself to just one? Camp AND tunnel to win. Doing both to the same survivor is a "Russian tech" now apparently but I just call it "playing to win".
It can get boring, but it's a tool in the arsenal. And all it takes is a few springwood/haddo offerings in a session before i'm legit done and start facecamping and tunneling everyone I can get my grubby hands on.
Your skill must be beyond comprehension

@Yatol said:
to me camping is boring if you want to camp , go ahead but if looping stresses you out i think its time to stop playing the game. You lose NOTHING in this game from a defeat. its a video game not your job.
This.

I mean, you do you. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to play normally.

How does the board game even work lmao, I'd be surprised if it was anything other than a glorified chutes n' ladders reskin.
We'll just have to wait and see, but as a board game connoisseur I'm excited for it
-
I will be completely done if the current meta carries over to the board game lol
-
ok, you did NOT say that soft cookies are better than crunchy ones.

Is it just me or does it kinda look like springtrap (joke)

I've been having a ton of fun with Vommy Mommy recently but that is of course my opinion
Oh, and I am legally obligated to say Spirit should be S tier.

it is for me sadako w/ enduring is the most fun ive had since sbmm was implemented (bc pyramid head is fun but also kinda hellish to play sometimes lmao)
I'm glad to hear that. I'm disappointed that so many people can only have fun by winning, especially because I used to have that same kind of mentality.

I miss the days where a killer just being fun would be good enough...
