Impossible.
Devs even hesitate to make really small changes, such drastic changes would never happen in this game.

Spirit is the second best killer after the Nurse, no other killer can even come close to her. She is definitely not mid tier.

@Bbbrian2013 Currently left 4 dead 2 has 12k players and the game is 10 years old. That game doesn't have any grind mechanism so all the people who play left 4 dead 2 play it for pure joy.
If you need a grind mechanism to keep your game alive and whenever numbers drop, you go for double BPs instead of fixing the real issues, it shows how pathetic you are and the future of your game.
Just my opinion.

I really want MoM to be a self borrowed time without that healing downside. Just get the unhooker as you would do to avoid borrowed time save. As meta as borrowed time but as a killer you can still play around that.

I suck at nurse, I have a good muscle memory etc. but due to her design, I didn't find her interesting so I never tried to become good with her. I am pretty sure if I play her, I will be worse than rank 15 regular nurse players.
I am awful with trapper and honestly I can't understand why I am bad at him. I am a survivor main and typically I understand where survivors are gonna go and which paths, loops they will use but nope, I can't play him. I think I am good with her sister Hag though so I really don't understand.
Same with spirit and hag. Since I am a survivor main, it is so easy to predict survivors as well.

@Nickenzie Yes that's the problem.
I am pretty sure that it could be fixed by cosmetic team, they can easily redesign them but nope, it is not profitable, better create more cosmetics.
What are in their priority list may I ask you? Hooks? Chests? Without taking a look at Legion's mid chapter chapter notes, what featured do you remember that is worth to mention? All of those stuff were more important than these walls that can be easily fixed?

@Maximus7 Exactly my thoughts. There are certain individuals that actually care about the game but they are being held back by the others who only care about profit.
I am so sorry but coldwind maps' walls have not been fixed in 3 years. I would believe it is very difficult to change it if they didn't create more than 10 maps with entirely different layouts and objects. Swamp's, Yamaoka's, Red Forest's, Ormond's jungle gyms are completely different, they could redesign Farm maps' transparent walls easily. You can't say that they are trying their best after this.

@powerbats Many people including me stopped taking you seriously. Not that you can't answer my posts or comments but when you do, please know that I will ignore you as I don't have enough patience that other guys have.
@PiiFree I agree with everything you said, people said that there were sales, free weekends etc. and right now, dead by daylight is 50% off with a free weekend, we'll see how many people will come to the game and what the new peak will be. I don't think that new players will deal with 3 men lobbies and infinite loading screens etc.

People who complained about perk getting activated all the time and giving them headaches because of loud noise notifications killed the perk.
The same people were not even using the damn perk, players like you and me who actually used the perk and have seen its value got cucked.

I think main concern is billy and huntress.
I wouldn't mind it working with m2s though.
Also dark devotion should not have a timer, as it is that perk is really useless.

I like borrowed time as a survivor and believe it or not but I have 0 problem with it as a killer, even after exit gates are powered. Just hit the unhooker and down him over and over again.
The old DS sucked balls but I love the new DS and its concept. Both as a killer or survivor I have 0 problem with it.
The new perk, mettle of man is just poorly designed imo. As a killer the only counter is to let the survivor go away and don't hit him 4Head.
It could be a cool perk if it allowed you to tank a hit when you got unhooked. In that way, the survivor have a 'second chance' against a camper. The counterplay is simple as well, just like you avoid borrowed time by getting the unhooker, just don't hit the unhooked and down the unhooker.
So make this perk a self borrowed time, situational, can be counterplayed but as strong as borrowed time.

IMO, flip flop is almost worthless if you are playing solo. Perks like unbreakable or tenacity is much better.
I don't play SWF so Idk.

I just love how claudette looks.
I started to play Jane as well, if claudette didn't exist, she would easily be my main.
I would love to play Ash but, I don't have the perks I want for him.

@NuclearBurrito Spirit is better than hillbilly.
It is just that the majority of survivors are average and you can destroy them by playing hillbilly. When you face good survivors, hillbilly is quite weak, any billy main can easily confirm this.
Spirit has low map pressure with no insta down but chases are no joke. She can still handle good survivors unlike billy.
I don't take addons into consideration, insta saw billy is no joke.
Due to their design, killers like pig or doc can not be as good as these 2 killers are. You can give similar abilities to killers like leatherface and wraith but that's it.

I don't think MoM is as bad as old DS but It doesn't mean anything.
Look at me I am a survivor and I got hit 3 times, now I get to be invincible no matter what. It is quite triggering.

@Orion @DwightsLifeMatters That's the whole premise of dark souls though, you have to be quick enough to react to enemies.
Nioh has the same thing and I still didn't play Sekiro it might have the same gameplay.

I am a survivor main and I approve this thread.
The most important thing is secondary objectives and it is being ignored and ignored and ignored...
I don't want to use ruin or NOED, disable these two perks for a week and we'll see how much your game is balanced. These 2 perks are terrible RNG perks that don't achieve anything.

Here is my opinion, and this comes from a survivor main.
If you are camping and tunneling every game, you are a bad killer, you don't trust your chase skills, you can't apply enough pressure to the gens. Sure there are instances where you are forced to camp or tunnel but I am talking about killers who made camping and tunneling their primary gameplay in this game. Standing in front of a hook and looking around you doesn't take skill.
As a survivor, if you are humping main buildings like crotus penn asylum or grim pantry or many other main buildings, you are a bad survivor, period. You don't trust your chase skills, and you can't answer the killers' mindgames so instead of sticking around jungle gyms etc. you choose to go and use those braindead places because you are unskilled.
Understanding your opponent and answering his mindgames or creating your own mindgames is literally the only skill that you need to have in this game. If you can't do those things, you are bad at the game.
Purely my opinion.

I believe they are trying to bring rank rewards and leaderboards and this is the beginning.
They are trying this stuff with their fog whisperers and collect data and find solutions to problems. After that, this might become one of the core features of this game.
Remember those streamers who went to Canada, they said that big changes were coming. Mclean in his stream also said that the new ranking system with emblems is the beginning as well.
We'll see some interesting stuff in the future.

One of the fog whisperer's that went to Canada said that they already have a new killer lined up after the plague.
He said that he was a great killer and we would love it. And after that he said that the mechanic of the new killer was really good as well. This got me thinking, why would we love the new killer's appearance, aren't all killers just about their power and mechanic? Is he a known killer? Is this why we are gonna like him?
Don't take it serious but I feel like we are gonna get another licensed killer. 21 June is the day for the new Child's play movie as well. I wonder if...
These are all speculations of course. Stating that, getting licensed characters before dedicated servers is a very smart move.

I guess it is because of latency that I can't get my stuns, I have done this a lot closer than this video and it still didn't register the stun.
I guess we have to wait for dedicated servers.

Somebody asked what chili addons do and he answered and said that his addons were gonna get changed. After that, I asked if there is any plan to buff, tweak or change his base power.
He said that he want leatherface's chainsaw to work in a similar way to billy's (in terms of charging, no speed boost etc). He also said that there was no reason for him to get that much slow down while revving his chainsaw.
I don't know when these changes will be implemented but Mclean is one of the devs that are involved in killers' power etc.

I think this is a terrible idea.
Every killer should stop using NOED and ruin to alter the stats and show them what real gen rushing means if you don't use certain perks. I am pretty sure kill rate will be plummeted to 20-30%
Both ruin and NOED are terrible RNG perks and killers should not be forced to use them. Secondary objectives can't come soon enough.

Somebody asked when Mclean said that iri heads are gonna be reworked, that clip was showing Mclean telling us that iri head is too strong and we should not invest in it.

@AshleyWB I would say it is a survivor, I am gonna get surprised if it is a killer.
You can earn ######### ton of bloodpoints by unhooking survivors but if the killer downs them right away, you won't get any alturism emblems.
With coop, you can easily max out your objective but not gain much objective.
Even if you go down 2 times, as long as you escape you get 5k, it will not grant you iri survival though.
It should be rare but it is possible to get loads of bloodpoints but not pip as a survivor.

Bruce cares so much about Ash, he would never do something like that. If it is a joke, then I would be more disappointed in Bruce than anything.
Also we have a character model, perks and everything anyway, not releasing it and making it a joke would be one of the worst business decisions I have ever seen.

I was on the Mclean's stream the other day and I believe it is getting reworked. He said that he wouldn't invest in iri heads.
The nurse addons are getting reworked too but I am pretty sure many people already know that at this point.
I am also pretty sure they are getting rid of billy's insta chainsaw, he said that he was using his charge addons while he 'could'
There is a legion rework
Leatherface's chainsaw is getting changed etc etc.

I don't like it.
It is really difficult to break BBQ, ruin, enduring and spirit fury combo.
For killers like spirit hag nurse that do not follow this meta, there are still better perks to use imo.
It is one of those good perks that are not 'good enough' to pick up because of other good perks.

I am not sure but there is no timer that has been specifically stated. So if you use this perk, killers will have a mini freddy effect.
