Do tell me about this siren you speak of
This niche game trilogy. One of my most wanted licenses just because I think that a clairvoyant survivor (Kyoya Suda) would bring really interesting perks.
-
My main build I love to use
- Desperate Measures (the cornerstone of the build basically, the ability to unhook fast is really handy for Borrowed Time and the fast heal speed works great with FTP so I might not have to use it)
- For The People (my self-sacrifice perk, mainly used for survivors on death hook or to get Dead Hard active)
- Borrowed Time (my unhook perk, you know what it does and why it's here)
- Dead Hard (my self-survival perk, this is mainly used to grab survivors off hook in desperate moments when a killer is near or the timer is about to go down, or to get myself out of trouble if I just used FTP).
This is what I think is the most versatile altruism build that can come in clutch at almost every moment and can do some epic plays.
-
Kinda disappointed this wasn't about the other (forbidden) siren, but I guess a Siren would be cool.
-
I have no idea, I'm still playing even after they terribly messed up Ace (seriously can not underestimate how much he got screwed from the character updates, aside from Kate he's the only survivor I think got worse. I literally changed mains because of that update).
-
I don't think it should be DBD 2, I'd be okay with a DBD Vanilla (or something like that) for Patch 2.0.0, but it being DBD 2 makes no sense
-
I won't consider the RE characters as they're new, you see a lot of the same survivors when they're new (there was once a time when tons of people played Jeff for example), so for survivor either Bill or Steve and for killer Bubba.
-
Even though they're not in the game, Bill dressing up as a special infected would be cool. If I had to pick I say Hunter because I think Bill in a hoodie would be cool (I like hoodies).
If it had to be a killer from this game, idk I guess Plague because they both old as heck, it could be a nice indirect reference to the Spitter (another special infected), their personality of wanting to help people out (to the point of self-sacrifice), and I think Bill in a headdress would be pretty funny.
-
Pre-model update it was Ace, now it's Bill.
-
I think it should just open up gates 30% faster, the fact that Leader (a perk not focused on Exit Gates) can still open up gates faster is pathetic. And with a good 30% you can open up gates 6 seconds faster, that's poggers.
-
The main issues with it are seeing people rely on it on too much and make bad plays with it, but the perk itself is actually fine.
-
The only thing that saved it from Horrible to me was the Naughty Bear charm. Seemingly unpopular opinion but I love Charms, I love this charm, it was such a neat reference and I hope we can get more callbacks to previous works in the future, I hated everything else.
-
edit: forget this.
-
If we had to get a candy killer, I'd prefer a Gingerbread Man
Click to view the GIF"Jokes" aside, I feel literally nothing towards him. I'd be happy for the people that wanted him, and not mad considering I already got the licenses I wanted, but unless the contents of the chapter itself were good (meaning the perks and power) I'd be bored and wait for the next chapter even before this chapter released.
-
Heck, they could've gave it to some killers, would've loved if Legion had it.
-
Complicated idea, but if it were to be a dream chapter it'd be an original chapter with 2 survivors and killer with interconnecting stories between them
basic idea being they were all childhood friends but eventually drifted apart from each other as they became older. Unknowing to them, they all moved back to their place of birth after college or something so they all are in the same city. Because of their work and situations they all interact with each other effecting their stories in ways they had no idea. For example, maybe a survivor got in a car crash that delayed the traffic, delaying the eventual killer from going to an important photoshoot or something
Hopes of what they could be in game
Survivor 1: A Fire Fighter with perks centered around getting her and her teammates out of heated situations
Survivor 2: A Focused Engineer with perks around using his environment to his advantage and getting out as soon as possible
Killer: A Photographer who can bleh ehh uhh eb buh weh bu wuh. I don't know, I can't think of a power for The Photographer right now
The Map: Just, please not an indoor map. Anything but that.

Everyone who hates RPD literally just never played it and if they did they just base their ENTIRE opinion on content creators. DBD definitely is the most braindead fanbase they only ever spit out what popular people say tbh lol
I played on it multiple times, I just hate it. This was before I saw other opinions on it as well. I just don't like the map.
-
New Bubba Build:
"Order" - Carter's Notes (The Doctor): Bubba now has Illusionary pallets that survivors can run to, to feel safe. But then when they get there the pallet disappears.
Paint Thinner (The Nightmare): Uh oh, well this is bad. Basically, it's a fake pallet that looks real but if a survivor tries slamming it on Bubba nothing happens. I think you know where I'm going with this.

Haddonfield will forever be my abomination king.
At least Haddonfield was designed to be a DBD map and has things placed and moved to make it a DBD map. RPD is literally a Resident Evil map that was copy pasted into DBD without care put in to make it a DBD map.
In my mind, RPD isn't even a DBD map so it should be the king of abominations for being in a game it shouldn't be in.
-
I know you might be tired of hearing it, but RPD should be the King of Abominations, or at least in Abomination tier. Other than that, pretty solid list.
-
Premonition is already a pretty terrible perk, but imagine having a 1 minute cooldown on it. That's what happens at tier 1, a 1 minute cooldown.
-
I honestly think I'm becoming a Bill main, and I have been enjoying playing more Jeff recently. I think I only played Ace twice since his model rework, and I am thinking about switching to Bill for good.
EDIT: It happened, I changed to Bill because I hated Ace's, no, "Spade" (I refuse to call that thing in the game Ace, that's Spade now), remodel so much. I might change back if Spade gets readjusted to feel more like Ace (like giving him a good smug) but for right now I'm a Bill main.
-
Gonna be honest, haven't seen a single Quentin yet, but it's nice knowing other people are using him more often now (even if I don't personally see it).
-
Even though he doesn't have much, I've been really enjoying this outfit on Bill lately
Head: Shades Up (Heart of Valor; Rift 7)
Torso: Gut Topper (Heart of Valor; Rift 7)
Pants: Veteran's Trousers (Prestige 2)
-
I don't think the devs would go so far to model and voice a character, without even thinking of 3 perks for them in advance just to have to change characters (none of Cheryl's perks fit Lisa from what I know). If I had to guess, they wanted you to pay $15 for Lisa because she was better modeled, and has a better fitting voice in hopes that people wouldn't complain about her not having a unique voice (didn't work, people including me were still mad, but they tried preventing it in advance).
-
Where's the "I'm getting the Steam Deck but won't be playing DBD on it" option. I already have too big a time investment on my Xbox (my Ace has a 3rd Year Cake for crying out loud) that unless cross-progression gets added I'm not playing DBD on another system. Even if that does happen, I prefer using my hand-held consoles on the go (the only time I use my Switch docked is with friends playing SSBU, other times it's with me on long trips). If I have the money, I'm likely getting a steam deck but I don't imagine me playing DBD on it.

just wondering are all survivors rich parents kids?
No, not even most of them. Only other rich parent kids (I can think of) are David, Felix, and Elodie [not the only rich survivors, just the ones born rich]

Imagine if on February 9, we get yellow recolors of these Dwight cosmetics
(the hat now has the brand logo the shirt has) to celebrate Pizza Day. That'd be fantastic.
-
Imagine getting less rift content than a Licensed Character (I know Jeff got 4 cosmetic pieces from rifts and Bill only got 3, but Bill got an original outfit and a bunch of charms so I say quality wise Bill got more). I hope you 3 Jeff mains get a high quality, good, non-reskin, non-set, original outfit sometime soon.
-
Head On is now an F-Tier Perk
-
Oni
Perfect combination of threat, terror, and fairness. Aside from the ones that camped (that could've been any other killer), I don't think I had an Oni game I thought wasn't fun.
-
Marth is my worst character in every Super Smash Bros. game (aside from the original on 64, which didn't have Marth and I also haven't played)

Sorry, for the late reply

I hate trickster he's example of everything boring, annoying, weak and did I said boring?
But why do you consider him boring? Is it the fact he's unoriginal, his chase ability, other, what in particular makes him boring to you?

I don't hate The Realm Beyond, as a concept. In execution, 🤮.

Same as PTB, They didn't fix his mouth/jaw. Also his facial hair is so weird.
so it didn't change at all, great job listening to feedback devs.

My main 3 ruined, We send our feedback but they didn't care. Acutally they ruined Jill too. lol.
Downloading been really slow, did they really mess up Ace that bad? Everyone's been talking about the other survivors (mainly Kate) so I haven't seen much of Ace yet.
-
- It's a rift outfit that was just now added to the shop so people who didn't get it in the rift can now get it.
- Technically the 3rd, Krampus and Minotaur are now Ultra Rares.
- Big Sad :C
EDIT: Oops, @GoodBoyKaru beat me to it.
-
Legendary Skins are licensed, Ultra Rares are not.
-
Really excited for Ace's Shirt and Jake's Head. Everything else is not great
-
After getting Stranger Things, Resident Evil, and surprise pick I never knew I wanted Left 4 Dead, I'm pretty fine.
If I had to pick another license, though, then either Forbidden Siren or Dead Space.
-
Love Isaac Clarke, he'd be the only character I'd ever buy sets for if he got in (mainly because I don't think it'd be a cash grab to lock a set just so you can't pay for individual pieces, like Cheryl and Jill's sets, but I actually feel like clipping would be an issue on the guy so it's actually fair to lock it) and he'd instantly become a main. It's shocking how it's been 5 years repairing gens that we haven't gotten an engineer character yet, why not Isaac?

- Spirit requires skill
- NOED is fair
- Shelter Woods isn’t as survivor sided as people say
- Borrowed Time is a very balanced perk and going against BT body blockers isn’t annoying
Agree with all but point three, who said Shelter Woods was survivor sided? I thought it was universally agreed to be killer sided.
-
Ace, I like how much we don't know about him so it opens up theories about who he is (like how his outfits change how much he looks as if he tries hiding who he is, which is emphasized by his default outfit consisting of a hat and glasses actively hiding his face. For all we know, Ace might not even be his real name, from what little research I did Ace is not a very common Italian name, or common name in general). Plus, he just has very nice and varied cosmetics, and smiles giving him tons of personality (another thing I love: Personality. He speaks personality even in game, he knows breathing techniques and uses them while injured [making him the quietist survivor] which adds to his mystique, why does Ace know Breathing techniques to make him quiet? He also thinks highly of himself resulting in his iconic smug smile and perk quotes)
Tl;dr: Ace has good lore by not having us know much about it, Ace has a bit of mystery to him I love, and on top of that radiates personality and charm while also having great cosmetics.
For Killer, Doctor. I just think he's the scariest and coolest killer in the entire game.
-
I'm going to finally use my 4th year cakes on Jeff so I feel right prestiging him (he's been stuck P1 since 4th Year)
-
No Mither
Now you HAVE to learn how to loop properly, and fast. Dead Hard will make you perk reliant, Vault Speed build forces 2 perk slots out of you, Windows of Opportunity just shows Windows (and pallets) of Opportunity. No Mither teaches you how to be a MAN.
For serious answer, Idk, I guess Windows, Spine Chill, Resilience, and Dead Hard.

Bubba players really like it. Can't think of anybody else who would want it though.
Not even they want it. They use Insidious, then perks to get survivors in the basement (Agitation, Iron Grasp, and Mad Grit). If killer had 5 perk slots then maybe they use it, but at this point not even Bubba uses it.
-
Stranger Things, I'm a huge fan of the show.
I revisited Roblox, twice even as it had 2 events. I started watching Seven Deadly Sins when it crossed over with ST. I almost played Fortnite, but then both DbD and Roblox crossovers happen but I almost did. I'm even downloading Smite as we speak because of the ST Battle Pass.
So yeah, having 2 survivors and killer from my second favorite show was amazing.

That Spot has to go to No Mither.
No, at least No Mither can be useful in certain situations (like a Sabo swf who use it to infinitely recover if a killer would decide to just slug) and can be in fun builds (like Mettle of Mither). Monstrous Shrine has none of those qualities.
