(unfortunately, Victor most likely will never get cosmetics, let alone a legendary skin, but a man can dream)
-
-
Even though I haven't mentioned it (at least in this forum), I'm extremely hyped for Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl and I also loved Invader Zim as a kid, so it'd likely be this
-
Imagine if you killed 50 of a particular survivor (it's 50 because unlike Leatherface who needs 25, it's for EVERY killer so it's much easier to naturally get) you can get a corpse of them to put in the basement.
(an example of Bill where you can lean him against a basement wall)
This is most likely where I'd go if I could customize the basement, try to make it as disturbing as possible. If I can customize the basement mid lobby I'd chose only the 4 specific survivors I see in the lobby to place in the basement (because I'd feel it'd be more creepy to see a dead you then a dead somebody else, but that's just personal preference).

That's true, I remember their justification for locking Jill and Leon's very rare skins were "to preserve the image of [their] licensed characters" yet you can have Nancy wearing the top of her snowball dress over something else.
That's just because Netflix is more chill with DBD than a lot of other companies. I think it was said a lot of people working for Netflix played and loved DBD and they even gave the DBD devs Demogorgon's model to use. They understand players want to put Sunglasses Steve in his Scoops Ahoy uniform.
Capcom on the other hand either really do want to "preserve the image of their characters" or money.

Blight is the perfect example of how overpowered killers can still be fun to face. Spirit is the complete opposite of that.
-
Trap killers are my all time least favorite killers to face because it feels unfair to do well in a chase just to go to a loop a killer trapped knowing this is when you go down just because a killer happened to be there earlier. This is why Trapper and Hag are my least favorite killers of all time.
Even though I hate Bubba and especially how he managed to beat Nurse (my favorite killer to face), I still would much rather him over a Trap killer.
-
Pig has extremely uninteresting chase. She's either an M1 killer at 115% speed or tries doing an ambush leading to long distance.
Nurse has interesting chase as you're both trying to predict each other's moves, and unlike Spirit you can actually see what Nurse is doing (making her 10,000,000,000,000,000 times better to face than Spirit).
You also don't feel rewarded to beating Pig as she's a low tier, but Nurse is high tier so instantly more satisfying of a match if you get yourself and other survivors out.

Hope for a legion and let the mend timer take you down?
No you gotta do this
- Hope for Huntress to have Lethal Purserer to immediately hatchet snipe you.
- Use Unbreakable to recover fast.
- Have OoO go off to tell the killer where you are.
- Have the Huntress hatchet snipe you again
- Use Unbreakable to recover fast
- Remember this all must be done in 1 minute(s)
Simple, right?

After seeing this I wouldn't be suprised if in future Tome would be something like:
- As a Trapper, while in chase, step into your own trap 2 time(s). Complete this in single trial.
:)
But don't worry, Survivors will also get fun challenges as well. Here's a look at a survivor master challenge from the same tome
- As a Survivor, Recover from the dying state 2 time(s) with the perk No Mither. Complete this challenge in a single minute.

The wheel decided :( I like her too, but Oni is just a notch more fun to me.
Who said I liked her? I hate facing her because she leaves people in the broken status making my most used build, a Medic build with For The People, completely obsolete. I just said this was completely unfortunate she made it out of losers bracket to face one of the most universally considered fun killers in the entire gameVery sad indeed.
-
Poor plague, desperately fought to stay alive in the loser bracket just to face Oni.
-
If I think the killer has BBQ and we're 4-5 gens in, I let them get a hook on me if I haven't been hooked yet.
Because of my love of For The People, I also use DH to go along with it. To try to be more fair with a busted perk I try to limit my use of Dead Hard to only three times a game.
Unless I think a survivor is in harm, I immediately leave if the exit gates are opened.
Also, I don't teabag or flashlight click or spam loud actions.

Okay.

If it was just charms, and maybe recolors of basic shirts for the survivors, I'd chose the "🟦YES I WANT IT", but this is most likely for it's own chapter or paragraph, and to be honest I don't know how I'd feel about Among Us in DBD.

What do you mean nea's reword model? What does the Rift have to do with that?
All I said is that because Nea got her face reworked I now like playing her, and I'm using the Pineapple Charm with her Pineapple shirt
The reason I bought the rift for the Pineapple charm was this shirt on Nea, and I'm playing Nea because of her face rework.
-
Had a hard time choosing, Yes is a good option because she does have some oppression and free slowdown with traps (unfair, only Trapper should have mechanical traps, she stole Trapper's power :C), but ultimately I have to go with Yes because she does have some free oppression and slowdown with traps (unfair, only Trapper should have mechanical traps, she stole Trapper's power :C).
I can already feel the hate comments coming in, and I'm scared.

The whole zombie bit at the start was honestly a really bad take, sorry. Either way, we still have Ghost Face as a killer in the game, because the importance of the person under the mask is ike Spider-Man: anyone can wear the mask.
Way to ignore most of my entire post, telling me Ghost Face is spider man.
But anyway, you know who isn't Spider-Man. Mary Jane Watson (Sidney Prescot), one's of the games most wanted survivors, and is to this day, probably still attacking DBD Twitter with fan cams. Sure, we may have gotten a Spider Man chapter with Spider Man, but a lot of people also wanted Mary Jane to come in the chapter yet we didn't get her. Because of this chapter basically ruining paragraphs, I don't see the devs revisiting the Spider Man license to give a paragraph of Mary Jane.
This is why I despise this licensed chapter, it gave us a terrible killer (my personal opinion, I'm happy you enjoy him enough to have him in your name), gave us bad perks (Thrilling Tremors being the exception, but even then a lot of people don't use it), cut ties with the rest of the Scream Franchise (might be pessimistic, but I don't see Sidney or Randy ever getting in. Ever, not even as legendary skins), and it was supposed to be the celebration of the 3rd Year of Dead by Daylight yet was terrible at it.
-
Who would play killer the event?
-
After years of being ignored (despite having 2 of the best perks in the game), Bill finally got another outfit. He also came with a lot of cool charms, with my 3 favorites being

If I was a killer I would somehow have the broken status.

Woah, look at this charm from this rift
It's a pineapple! You know what lives in a Pineapple under the sea!? SHARKS!!! 😱😱😱

If they're good, but not gods, it's some of the best games ever. Admittedly god nurses that can instant wipe survivors in a minute isn't fun, but at least it's a fast win (for them) so you're not suffering long.

I am aware of the risks but it will actually give more tools to play with for newbie players. It is still limiting since you can't still use all perks though. Jokes aside, having more toys to play with would be more fun for both sides like having more cake in a birthday. Who doesn't like cake?
Sure, but if 4 perks was a well balanced cake that's tasty, a 6 perk cake (a cake that was not originally planned to have more than 4) might become so huge it is constantly leaning and about to fall apart and has so much sugar a single bite could kill. Cakes were not meant to support 6 perks.

Ash's Pros as a DBD character:
-He's Ash Williams
Ash's Cons as a DBD character:
I say get Bubba

@AGM said:
I'd say both. Two very different killers. If you like FPS style gameplay, go with Slinger. If you like snowball-y style killers go with Oni, but they're both really fun to play in their own ways.
The reason they're making this poll is because they can only get one.
-
@EvilJoshy said:
Ash's chapter. MoM broke the game. The devs knew it was going too and they released it anyway. They knew it would shake up the meta and survivors would jump on it like flies to poop. Or the devs had no idea because they dont play their own game. Either way, they screwed up.
Ash was not a chapter, it's a paragraph. The only reason people are saying Ghostface here was because it's listed as a chapter, but Ash was a paragraph (Ash if officially listed as Paragraph 3, Ghostface is listed as chapter 12. No one knows why it's weird like that.)
-
Why make this poll if you already decided and voted? Also I messed up and meant to press Oni, please don't count my vote towards Deathslinger.

Ghost Face doesn't need the Scream license to be good. IMO, it was better off that only the mask was acquired if it meant they could create an original character of their own beneath it. As far as I'm concerned, Ghost Face was one of the most requested killers in the game, not particularly one the 7 killers who donned the mask. If you think he is still broken since launch, be grateful he wasn't stuck as his 2nd PTB iteration. Current GF is just slightly inconsistent across both sides.
Imagine if the Resident Evil chapter was just a killer being a Zombie from the game (not even one seen from the games, a random BHVR original zombie), that's why the Ghost Face chapter was a big disappointment. When people wanted Ghost Face they meant a killer duo we never seen in the game before, they just hadn't specified it so they got "Ghost Face" (at least, that's what I wanted). People also wanted Sidney, people still want Sidney (as evident from the constant fan cams on DBD's Twitter).
What we got was a Stealth Killer... we didn't even get an original survivor, why did Ghost Face get to be original but we couldn't even get a Survivor with him? Maybe an original survivor who's a vigilante that's been tracking and trying to stop Ghostface because he was a failed first attempt (Ghostface's First Victim, and his only Survivor). Maybe a worker at Danny Johnson's last job who was the person that found the note at his desk and went to Danny's house to investigate just to be taken. Even Carl the Cashier could've worked, I know he's a bit of a meme but it would at least justify this paragraph being called a chapter.
And him being even broken before launch doesn't change the fact he's still broken, all that happened was a Band-Aid was put on a chopped off arm. I don't wanna settle with the fact that he's better than he was, he shouldn't be this inconsistent at all!
-
I know it was an Xbox, but don't have many memories of it specifically, it what when I got the Wii I became more aware (for lack of a better term) and have more memories of it. For some reason our parents were very chill with what we played (my guess is they knew we were so young we wouldn't understand and remember anything, which is fair I only remember the loading screen), we had Mortal Kombat: Deception, Tenchu Return from Darkness, Conker Live and Reloaded, Whacked!, but my favorite was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x. Don't remember much of it as well, I just remember skating in Venice, NY, Club, School 2, and Hangar a lot.
EDIT: Just remembered, I also played BLiNX a lot, not as much as THPS2x, but enough to be really happy it got brought to Gamepass. I want to replay it and I can, just don't have time to.

This happens because the Doctor does not have any Terror Radius (probably Tinkerer). If he uses his Blast at this point, it will do nothing.
You're right, didn't notice. I just rewatched and saw him not have a red stain as well, oops.
Still doesn't change my mind on the map, but at least it doesn't have a specific room that stops a killers power like I thought.
-
EDIT: The clip I originally had up was a Doctor using Static Blast not hitting anyone despite being in the room over, but @Aven_Fallen pointed out he had no Terror Radius. I showed it because I thought a room in the map straight up denied Doctor's power, oops.
-
Ghostface, it isn't even a chapter. I hated how the devs tried getting away with calling Paragraphs, Chapters. Some may say this is unfair but the devs called it a chapter so I'm judging it as a chapter.
The killer was broken at launch and still is (the reveal mechanic has never been fair, not even once. Nothing is more aggravating then centering Ghostface in the center of your screen looking at him for 3 seconds just to get exposed).
There was only one good perk the entire chapter, Thrilling Tremors, everything else was either okay or Furtive Chase.
The devs didn't even try hard enough to get license to the movies, just the mask itself (which is not why we liked Scream, it's not the mask it's everything else), leading to a disappointing license (many people including myself wanted Sidney Prescott, but it might never happen).
And the worst part is, I think Ghostface basically killed the Paragraph game because of the backlash but it all stemmed from the devs doing a rushed and terrible job the 3rd Anniversary Event (for people who weren't around then, trust me, the 5th Year Anniversary was one of the best events ever made in comparison to 3rd years "event")
Edit: His perk in Thrilling Tremors, not Corrupt Intervention. Oops
-
Ash is left handed, but if we're only talking about original characters then yeah maybe Jake is.
-
Even though I hate the Realm Beyond, I'd be okay if they touch this map because it's impossible to remove personality from a map without any, it's the most overdue rework and should've been the first thing they touched (seriously, who liked the Swamp maps even before the Realm Beyond?), and if the map somehow becomes less balanced at least it'd looked prettier.
-
In the near future, BHVR will now make it so this is how we decide our usernames and this is what people will see in game.
-
If Ghostface had a better reveal mechanic I might have chosen him, but right now it's too bull crap to enjoy. Also, every single one of them is toxic, there isn't a single Ghostface that isn't toxic, just less toxic in comparison to other Ghostfaces.
-
Blight has some counterplay, it's at least better than "I hope they are doing this, otherwise I die."
-
Doing a really stupid/bad play and the killer ends up being a popular, live twitch streamer. Something like Dumb Teching a killer with Enduring for example.

It’s not even “healing fast” it takes longer than having your teammate heal you.
Thats why it is trash. DS will always be the better choice.
I guess it's faster efficiently. Instead of having a teammate heal you for 16 seconds both of you can work on a gen for 20 seconds and you'd still get healed, effectively saving 40 seconds. Alternatively you could get a scared teammate who REFUSES to heal at hook and requires you to follow them to the ends of outer space to heal you, Second Wind would be a faster heal. If the killer has Sloppy Buttcher it'd only be 0.8 seconds slower (assuming I did math right) but Second Wind could be faster if the teammate hesitates to heal you.
I still think it's a bad perk, I'm just trying to play Devil's Advocate.
-
@MigrantTheGreat said:
Can someone explain what Second Wind is? I've read the perk description but it still makes no sense to me.
to put it simply, Heal a survivor before getting hooked so you can get healed fast after being unhooked.

Having the tome being called "Deliverance" and giving Adam nothing was the biggest disappointment this entire rift.

I play a medic build because that's what I personally enjoy doing, For The People is one of my favorite perks of all time, I usually bring a Med-Kit most trials. I don't think I need to expand further on why Plague is one of my least favorite killers to face.
-
I really only bought it because of my love for Pineapples
(I'm starting to level up Nea because of her model rework and that charm just fits too perfectly with my Pineapples Shirt on her). Everything else is just "meh" and I only bought it cause of my confidence to make most of my aurics back.

Ends in 60 days from now, if you want every Clown item you must complete the rift but if you don't care for the outfit and only care about Clown's charms you can progress to tier 47.

i don't wanna call you out or anything but it's just a survivor model, it doesn't matter which survivor you main they're all just skins
I tried thinking of a reply for a while but instead I feel like I can only ask a question to respond.
If Survivors are all just models and are the same (which they technically are), could you play as a Default Meg every time you play Survivor and be happy looking at that for over a thousand hours? It's just a survivor model, you are not losing any advantages by playing Default Meg, she's the same as every other Survivor Statistically and she still has the ability to use 4 perks and items and offerings, just instead of which survivor you play they are now Default Meg, do you think you could do that without switching survivors (outside of Dailies or specific character required rift challenges) or changing cosmetics?
That's why cosmetics are "important," technically have no effect on the game but still goes long ways when it comes to giving players enjoyment.

to know if they have Nurses Calling I'm guessing
