Okay. Here's the deal. Spirit just isn't very healthy for the game. As for whether or not she's balanced, I personally don't think she's overpowered. However, there are two main issues that come with Spirit. 1) She isn't hard to play. A top tier killer like Spirit should naturally be hard to learn, like Nurse, or Hag, or Huntress. I'm sure we're all sick of it. We load into a lobby after a long time of waiting and then either people in the lobby leave randomly or there's always that one player that doesn't ready up. This is a problem in EVERY game that has a "ready up" button in public lobbies. Honestly, just get rid of it. If you're already in the public lobby, then you're ready. Simple as that. Personally, I like watching offerings burn before the game starts. Knowing what others brought. But it is infuriating to have people disconnect during loading screen, if they see an offering they don't like. And we passed the random incidents, it is becoming a regular thing. Here i have some help: Use a stopwatch/countdown. That's it.. Not more. I use it now for a few days and it makes life easier. Have to waste a bit of a seconds to press the button on my phone but it is worth it. I actually don't care if survivors are going to rage against me cause of that. Remeber when flashlights weren't concidered a "bad" item? All of these key threads arguing that they're the only good item a survivor has left kinda hurts, the flashlight can do so much more but because it isn't easy to use and takes at least a little bit of time to learn I don't see many actually using flashlights. Here’s a thought dump I have on the whole spirit dc’s situation. Why the hell wasn’t this an issue before? People seem to have mostly no problems with Spirit for the most part when her chapter released. And there didn’t seem to be any issues with her buffs for the most part from what can tell. Previously myers without undetectable was able to be completely counter perks like Obj of obsession, spine chill, premonition, and aura reading perks. This was to insure that myers could be able to get out of tier 1 as fast as possible. Now with undetectable, myers isn't immune to spine chill and premonition, which nerfs this killer. Sorry but I can't understand this sentence: "We do not have voice chat in our game as we feel this would ruin the survivor experience. However, you are able to use certain gestures in order to communicatewith other players". I really can't immagine anything bad for this game if a voice chat is implemented. Something Ive been wanting for a while but dont think Ill ever see: getting stacks for a survivor when they DC. If they rage quit because they dont like the killer or they messed up why should I lose out on a bbq token or a devour hope token? First of all credit to djiplay for this idea, he made it in a comment in another thread. But it got me thinking and I actually agree with it. If they weren't flaming and provided more emblems and blood points to survivors it would be an incentive for them to actively look for all of them, instead of just passing up the non-lit ones when you're looking for a ruin. hear me out.. They said they want All stealth killers the same right? So EW1 = No terror radius but can be detected by spine chill and premonition. Does this also mean EW2 = No Terror radius? I honestly can’t STAND survivors who don’t even try to save when the killer is nowhere around, there’s more than enough time, and it’s my first hook (AND I have ds). I’m talking about survivors who are not afk but are hiding from the killer and not doing gens. Wasting the killer’s time. Or letting the other survivor take the fall.
