Yes! Use it! I feel like I hardly ever see it when I play survivor. I love to see a good end game build, Blood Warden is one of the few things in this game that still makes me panic lol.
-
Agreeing with a lot of people that I’ve seen more hackers in the last 2 months than I have since I got the game in 2018. The worst ones to go against aren’t the obvious hackers, the ones using subtle hacks for speed and such are so much more detrimental to gameplay and even harder to report since unless they screw up and do something obvious it’s hard to prove they’re cheating.
-
At low and mid-rank with below average-average players this game is typically killer sided.
At high rank killers will still likely have the advantage if they’re going against solo players especially if there’s any weak links on the team.
At the highest level of game play, where all 5 players are S tier skill level the survivors will likely have the advantage.
At the highest level of gameplay from killer, a swf where at least 2 players or more are highly skilled then survivors still likely have the advantage because good communication can make up for lack of skill.
Overall it doesn’t matter, this game is so heavily rng based that none of this means anything. If a map or a totem placement can tip the game to the favor of one side.. then the game can’t always be “X sided”.
-
Bit of a stretch to say Nemesis is F tier.. but overall I’m happy to have RE in the game. Think we got some fun new perks, and I love getting to play as Jill. I realllly would like them to maybe split the RPD map into two separate maps so it wasn’t such a nightmare.. but other than that I’m pretty happy with the chapter.
-
I don’t care how other people choose to play the game, if they wanna be a nice and try to farm cool. Wanna sweat or use cheap tactics to win? I’m really not offended. Buuuut.. I think pretending to be nice like this in order to 4K is borderline sociopathic.
-
I feel like somethings been up with tile spawns lately. It’s mostly the original maps they’re either jungle gyms into pallets into god loops or full of massive massive dead zones. Maybe it’s just me, but I get on Auto Haven or Macmillan and hold my breath till I see what tiles I’ve got.
-
You're not wrong, they've gone really far out of their way to throw us off before. But still, it's always fun to get all hyped and try to crack the code on the next chapter. I won't be surprised if the next chapter isn't even licensed though.
I hope it's Hellraiser though, it's been on my dbd wish list for a while now.

Ok, I will give #2 a shot ^^
The pacing and story in 2 is much better, you get a lot more of those cool visuals like in the end of the first one through the whole movie.

Can someone give me (and others reading this thread) a quick rundown of the Who/What/Where of Hellraiser / Pinhead? I read some stuff on wikipedia, but I'm really confused.
Pinhead is one of several Cenobites. The Cenobites are extra dimensional beings who were once human before being mutilated and brainwashed into torturing humans for all eternity in the extra dimensional realm know as the Labyrinth.
The cenobites can reach our realm only through a schism in time and space, which is opened and closed using a puzzle box known as the lament configuration.
So the readers digest version on the first 2 movies.. Someone finds and opens the puzzle box, cenobites are summoned, people are tortured, maybe even go into the labyrinth, puzzle box is closed.

No, you can't just unfocus on the bad parts of rubbishraiser because the entire thing is bad unlike Candyman. Anyone who disagrees with me is clearly a biased Hellraiser fan here. Look at the ratings & tell me I'm wrong.
All of your arguments are completely subjective and based on your personal opinions. The devs aren’t being biased, just because you think that way doesn’t mean they all do as well.
There are people who want both, there are people who want one instead of the other, and there are people who don’t want either.. so there’s no point in arguing opinions.
I don’t like Candyman, I think he’s a boring and could care less if he comes to the game but I’m not expecting my personal opinion to trump all the people who passionately want a Candyman chapter. If the devs can get the license it’ll likely happen, with the remake coming it’ll be lucrative content..
Honestly though, what are you actually fussing about? It seems like you’re upset that people who want a Hellraiser chapter are excited and not talking about the chapter you’d prefer.
-
I’ve been crossing my fingers for this since before stranger things! I loved the first 2 Hellraiser films and think that it’ll fit so well in dbd. If it’s just Pinhead I’ll still be happy but I’d love different killer skins, I wanna be the female cenobite.

Already Report. This issue is a duplicate.
I’m leaving it up because of the secondary bug I mentioned but if mods want to mark it as duplicate that’s up to them.

I feel like the whole emblem system needs a bit of a rework. I don’t care when I derank and if I play bad I deserve to, but I think it’s kind of ridiculous survivors in red ranks will depip if the killer is afk or just plays super bad and doesn’t manage to hook anyone before the gens get done. I know that there’s issues for killers too with the system, but why are there games where all 5 players can depip? If either side is completing their objective a safety pip should be worst you can do.
-
There’s nothing you can do if someone decides to body block you, name your crows I guess?
If I see this and I’m playing killer however, that persons getting a fat face camp.
-
Freddy's original rework was night and day. God, to think of when he used to have to put people to sleep just to hit them, that was the real nightmare. Also, Kindred. I never touched it before and now it's my most used solo survivor perk after it's change.
-
Still would die for a Hellraiser chapter.. at this point though I'm not holding my breath :(
-
This seems so random, since when was dead hard op?
The majority of the time people use it in the open for pointless distance, do it into a wall or just end up exhausted on the ground. It can be good but it’s not consistently as reliable as other exhaustion perks and killers will bait it out once they know you have it.. I just don’t see how it’s a problem.
-
It’s not even a rank reset anymore.. I basically lost a few pips. It took 3 games to get back to my rank.
-
When I found out it was a “bug” that was getting fix I actually rolled my eyes. This was so useful for solo players. Of all they game breaking bugs THIS gets patched out.. >:(
-
He deserves a rework. A full rework at this point. Tbh, I don’t know why the doctor gets changes to make him stronger (more annoying) when he’s already strong in the hands of good players but the killers who are weaker than him get gutted..?
Priorities have been a bit out of wack lately.
I can understand where you’re coming from on this one. Sorry you have to go :(
-
I played a few rounds as him on PS4 last night, and against him several rounds yesterday morning but I’m not seeing him anymore either.
I think there will be about as many console oni mains as there are console nurse mains. He has great mobility with his power and not much else. No flick to shut down loops and not enough sensitivity to hit anyone unless they run in a straight line.
Feels bad.

Out of the literal dozens of bugs that can be gamebreaking that have been in the game for years, like the wiggle bug, being unable to heal people, getting stuck indefinitely in lockers, being unable to pass through the exit gates, matchmaking error bugs, items disappearing for randomly, even with wards, clown bottles just exploding instantly when thrown, lockers randomly opening and shutting like there's a poltergeist, and many, many more...
...That one is one of the few they fixed.
Le sigh.
Lol, I guess that is was a bigger priority.. 🤷♀️
-
It just seems like mostly everyone liked it for one reason or another, so what’s the harm in adding it as a feature honestly? I thought they wanted to start closing the gap between swf and solo and that information definitely did benefit solo players.

it is gone because the devs did not like how people dodge because there is a rank 20 on rank 5 lobby and they also said it was "unintended" and they fix it but the strange thing is how a BUG from year or two ago come back out of nowhere and even if you can see your teammates rank a long time was not a bug how did the bug made other people see each other ranks O.o
I know that’s what they said but I mean, we had that bug for quite a while and honestly I didn’t see any problems.. I didn’t even know it was a bug till they said they were gonna “fix” it. I played many games with low ranks in my lobby. I’d be surprised if people dodged players ranks anymore than they dodge bad ping.

you can't even scroll more to close this like why is the mobile site just so bad
It’s kind of annoying, but if you go to the full site from the side menu you can clear the news and then return to the mobile site at the bottom of the page.

“Just do gens” isn’t a counter, it’s a punishment and there IS a difference.
-
Sir, I’m gonna need to issue you a vibe check.
-
Click bait hoo ha ha!
-
No Mither since it's basically just a meme perk in it's current state. You shouldn't start broken, the perk should activate after you become injured and ideally only you and your team would see the broken symbol. I would also buff like, all of Huntresses perks. I love her but her perks are hot garbage.
-
Nurse & Wraith
-
Yes they will be on console, all of the details are in the developer update. There’s quite a few skins they’re giving away, mostly ones from codes but a few event skins. They also list why they’re doing it in the update.

It's literally not. It's a survival game. If I survive then I win, if I die I lose. Plain and simple. ######### other people. If I play killer I kill everyone, if I play survivor then I survive.
I’m sorry but to say that surviving is the only goal is wrong. The emblem system makes it clear as day that you’re meant to play as a team. If surviving was the only objective you’d never depip from escaping. Likewise you’d never pip from dying. You can play as selfishly as you want, but there’s no justification for it.
-
I was on for 2 hours yesterday and saw Spirit 4 times, one with an ebony. Count your blessings I guess.

Let em be salty nuts lol I love it. I keep myself alive and get me my points. It's supposed to be that way anyways.
It’s literally a team based game, you get more points for playing as a team. Playing like that is nothing to be proud of.
-
Why? Legacy is the only exclusive that makes sense to stay that way. I didn’t play the game when legacy was around and don’t feel entitled to it at all because I’ve seen what those bloodwebs looked like. They are a bragging right and should stay that way.
-
I’m honestly relieved these changes are what they are. I think most everyone wanted to see her remain a strong killer and I think she will. I’m glad they didn’t over do it.
-
@sorrowen said:
Listen just because most of the player base can't do a gen or have unbreakable does't mean nerf spirit. She does have counter play however most survivors are complete potatoes so of course they will have issues with a killer that is more high tier. So the "changing" nerfing I mean is for survivors who aren't good at the game.
Can you please let everyone know what the counter play is?
I’m genuinely curious since there’s yet to be evidence of anything reliable other than 2 perks that can (maybe sometimes) be used to counter her.
-
I pretty much always try for the save. Sometimes it doesn’t work out but I genuinely feel like a bad person leaving people behind.
-
Both throwing 15 pallets and depleting 6 medkits. I’m not a wasteful person, and I don’t want to have to be a wasteful person to do the challenges. If I played normally to get these done it would take forever. These have me absolutely triggered lol.
-
This is so far fetched, believe me I know.
But if the new killer ends up being related to Rin, wouldn’t it be kinda cool if the new survivor was related to Adam? It says in the last part of his lore
“To this day, his uncle believes that Adam took off after the train crash, alive still, somewhere out there.”
-
I’m not sure what your actual issue is, maybe connection or something but there’s no issues with killer speed on ps4 right now.
-
I believe it is going to be her ancestor. Her father disgraced the bloodline killing his daughter with the family heirloom katana.
From the Yamaoka lore:
“The estate was bought by the first of the Yamaoka, a shipwreck survivor, who came from a distant ashy island. He washed ashore just as political tensions sparked the flames of war.
Yamaoka joined the battlefield and unleashed hell on his foes. No one could match the raw fury of his Katana, which elevated him to a legend. They say his devilish mask haunted the dreams of all men.”
From Spirits lore:
”She inherited incredible fury from her ancestors. The wrath that flows through her veins is her legacy. The terrible pain she suffered set it off. Swift and lethal, The Spirit exacts her revenge endlessly.”
Not the father, the first Yamaoka. The Oni.

Solo for me has been exceptionally miserable since Strangers Things released for some reason. Red ranks seem more boosted than ever. Wait 10 minutes to get into a match with teammates that can’t work through ruin and either leave you on first hook to go into struggle, farm in the killers face without BT, or dc the second they go down. Actually looking forward to rank reset tomorrow.
-
No0b3- I just enjoy his personality honestly, he is comforting to listen to. I rewatch all his videos when I can’t sleep.
and
Otzdarva- I have learned so much from him, he has a great attitude and is incredibly informative while he plays. I also have a soft spot since I’ve been watching him since he was playing dark souls.
-
I think that the cypress is fine, ivory can stay as it is too honestly but the ebony in its current state doesn’t belong in the game. Not even the entity enjoys them. I think you should have to work a bit harder to be able to mori an entire team. Using them feels like a cheap win, which is why I never really use them.
As for keys, we all know they have their moments of “that was bs” but they are incredibly situational in comparison. Yeah keys are strong but as strong as an ebony? No.
Often times keys literally never even get the chance to come into play. The amount of variables there are to get use out of a key, and especially to get multiple people out the hatch means there’s a certain amount of work and luck involved. If having a key made it so the hatch spawned after 2 gens are done I’d say you could compare them to each other. But keys can’t cut your objective by more than half. I have yet to hear a logical argument on why they are stronger. They aren’t.
-
If I know I’m rancor I have zero shame in hiding in a locker till the gates are open. Can’t get insta downed if they can’t find you 🤷♀️
-
Trapper is not nearly as bad as you’re making him out to be. He could definitely use some buffs, but he’s in no way an F tier killer.
If you’re placing traps all over the map in all the obvious places then yes, he’s fairly weak. The way to play him is by placing your traps in one section of the map and corralling the survivors into those traps like cattle. If you play survivor then you should know the places they will run to in a chase, the key is to exploit that knowledge.
If you are not using your traps wisely then he’s as basic of a killer as you can play, but that doesn’t mean he is garbage.

Survivors seem to get all the changes they ask for.
That’s not at all true bub. That kind of mentality is bad for the community so I don’t think it’s a good idea to go there.
-
I mean, it’s because the perk is completely based around gens being done. I think it makes sense.
-
Hag for sure. She’s totally underrated.
