I mean, you already have to pay the price of the pass to get a single outfit. If you don’t care about cosmetics then why care about the pass? You can continue not to spend any money and the game will be no different. If you do care about cosmetics and buy them regularly then this is practically a steal.

Even as a survivor main I know when the gates are open all bets are off. I don’t consider camping or tunneling toxic in end game. You may feel different.

All of the clips but the last one are connection/latency issues which everyone deals with. I don’t really understand why the last one was included, that’s just how games go sometimes and nothing about that match was broken.
There definitely are things about this game that are broken, for both sides, I just don’t think these are good examples.

It will counter all survivor aura reading perks. It’s good for the most part but I hope that it won’t be a nerf to kindred since it’s supposed to trump stealth.

I REALLY hope they will consider extending the event. We barely got a 3 year event, this seems so short.

My take on it has been, if I have all the perks I want and bought a cosmetic that I like I don’t bother. Like with Kate, I’ll probably only ever wear the biker outfit and she has a good build. Not gonna prestige and lose all that.
But with Nancy I didn’t like her paid cosmetic, and I got to 50 and still didn’t have some off my favorite perks so I decided to get her to p3 for the cosmetics and knew I’d eventually get all my perks. I also ended up with a stockpile of insta heals and medkits. To me, that was worth it.

This is exactly why it exists. Beside killers who have traps you can disable she is the only killer in the game with a power that can be completely denied by survivors.
If anything plague could use a few buffs. Even with corrupt you can avoid being hit using trees, walls, hay bales ect.

Feel like I should make a special folder for these moments. During the 3 year aniversary event, I had THIS game where almost everyone used event cake offerings. Decided as soon as I saw the offerings that Id let everyone escape, and would just slug em when they got to deathhook. Eventually it got to the point that I was still beating them so badly... some of them hit stage 2 on first hook and some of them were on the verge of bleeding out on the ground so I had to pick them up myself and let them go. I kinda lost track of who I still needed to hook, and this was the result.
Our brains are more highly attuned to negativity than positivity. Yeah, that one guy was really unnecessarily rude. But everyone else wasn’t. I see a lot of ggs in end game chats. A LOT.

If my team doesn’t cleanse totems and deny noed then the options are, find noed and cleanse it to get my team out, or leave my team behind and get out. If everyone dies because we were buzzing around going for saves while the killer had noed we don’t deserve to win. Is noed a crutch for some killers? Yes, but it’s not unfair when there is a way to completely prevent it from ever activating.

They have put far too much work into this to just scrap it. Lots of us still really want dedicated servers and are more than happy to wait even longer if need be. We all knew that there would be issues. Saying to just give up because they aren’t prefect yet is not constructive.

Ive been seeing this suggestion a lot. I understand that if you’re just playing really well getting hit with DS is annoying. And it is ANNOYING. But let’s be real.. if your playing so well you’ve hooked someone between an unhook and re-downed last person rescued and STILL get hit with it, I’d say that you have enough pressure that 5 seconds shouldn’t be too much of a loss.
Like, look how much you got done in less than 60.. eat the stun and down them again or if you know you were too quick, slug them for a bit. The cases where that stun will cost you the game are extremely rare.
On a side note, forcing someone to get stunned by jumping into a locker IS kinda bs. Especially since people like to combine it with head on.

After watching Scott Jund try to get MoM to work, and seeing how you basically have to throw the game to get it active I agree is should be looked at again.
The problem is, it’s a hard perk to balance because it is so strong. Either the requirements are too easy, or too hard.
The safe unhooks proved to be too easy. From what I’ve seen getting 2 protection hits is hard, but doable. Getting the 3rd and then actually getting to use MoM after that seem to be the hardest. In my head, 2 protection hits and then having to heal another survivor a full health state seems more achievable, but not super easy.. although I could be totally wrong. It’s hard to say without a lot of testing what would balance this perk, so it’s probably gonna stay as it is for a while sadly.

I was hoping “yes but it’s torture” would be an option. My addiction to playing solo survivor has really made me question if I might be a masochist.

I could be wrong, but I think new/casual players have a hard time going against her and asking for nerfs is always easier than trying to learn how to go against her. Also, a few big streamers openly hate going against her, and hive mind mentality is definitely a thing.

Our remaining options are:
-The Rebel: Nea
-The Athlete: Meg
-The Babysitter: Laurie
The rebel tends to be used to set up the last survivor. To give them a will to live rather than be the survivor themselves, but they do sometimes turn out to be the survivor. Her odds are still lower than the athlete or the baby sitter though so I'm going to scrap Nea.
The athlete tends to be an airhead who dies early or the true survivor because they're the only down to earth female in the film. There is pretty much no inbetween here and it's about a 50/50 shot
This leaves the Babysitter, unsurprisingly as the true survivor as they're always the most identifiable survivor in the movies. The most human, the most believable, and the most sympathetic due to their role as a gaurdian of what's right.
This would mean that Laurie would usually be the one I'd vote for but I decided to go with Meg since I feel Laurie was too obvious and too easy of an answer and horror films do enjoy the bait and switch.

Billy’s chainsaw sprint physics (especially if you’ve seen him fly off a rock) makes less sense to me than bubba being able to wildly swing a chainsaw and knock down multiple people. It’s called video game logic, lol.

Im no expert, but I doubt the game could recognize the difference between a malicious tunnel and normal gameplay. Getting tunneled is annoying but sometimes its accidental, and sometimes it was strategic. There isn’t a way to punish a few toxic people without punishing everyone who plays killer and that’s just never gonna happen.
I do think it would be fair to compensate survivors who get camped better, since the game can tell when it happens for the emblem scores. I think if you get camped on your first hook before the gates have powered and go into struggle, your struggle points should double cause why tf not.

I say this as someone who mostly plays survivor. Myers typically is stronger.
The people who play him are usually very smart and know to 99 his power and hold it till the right moment causing the game to snowball. With his addons there is also a lot of variety to the types of builds you see, making it more fun to go against and his power is consistent with little counter unlike night shroud.
Also, this is just from personal experience but probably 85-90% of my games against GF tunneling or camping in NS are the tactics used to win, which is a tell tale sign that the killer is weaker.

I think if we were to combine wglf with another perk Babysitter would be perfect. Then its purely a safe unhook perk that protects your teammate and gives you info on where the killer is. Combining with borrowed time would reward unsafe unhooks and I think we’ll make it would have to change to only apply to the person that got unhooked to stay balanced.

Plague deserves a rework more than anyone imo. Because just like this poll she gets forgotten by everyone. I don’t think any other killer gets denied their power like her. It’s sad.

I think we need another original killer. We have had back to back licensed killers and as fun as they are, we can all admit that the strongest killers in the game are originals. That’s because they have the freedom to do ANYTHING with original content and as much as I’m ready for more iconic names to come to dbd I want to see another unique killer added to the top tier lists.

I’ve had this happen before and it’s dumb. You get punished in red ranks if the killer played poorly and there was no one needed to be unhooked or healed.
Escaping should be a safety pip if you at least worked on gens and didn’t just hatch camp.

It’s happened to me several times too and it’s super frustrating cause it ends up being a waste of time, items, and offerings. It doesn’t look to be a priority to fix unfortunately.

Its mostly due to the re-makes being so popular. Most people who play this game aren’t even that into horror, or they just know more mainstream stuff. Which now Pennywise is more mainstream. If it were the Tim curry version I’d be more open to it but over all I really don’t want another clown.

This is some far reaching logic. I don’t think excuses need to be made for noed. It’s a perk in the game meant to be used by whoever wants to use it. Is it a crutch perk? Yeah, but both sides use crutch perks sooo.. I don’t think it matters. I mean, DS rewards failure too right?
Basically, don’t let salty people make you feel like you’re bad for using a perk. That’s silly.

I think some of you are severely underestimating how strong some of these perks will be in combination with other perks we already have. I can see lots of potential builds out of these and I think it will switch up the meta a bit which is MUCH needed.

The most memorable for me was actually a killer being toxic, less common I know but that’s why I remember it.
I was on playing survivor (solo) me and another person were on a gen on Macmillan and I was against the wall. It was at the start of the match and didn’t even know who the killer was yet. I had been looking around but not well enough I guess cause I hear *Bing Bong* and wraith uncloaks next to me.
He didn’t hit me, but wouldn’t let me out of the corner. I then get a message saying “enjoy dying to endgame collapse”. He seriously spent the entire match there bing bonging and sending rude messages. I never play toxic and didn’t recognize his name so this was totally him just trying to trigger me.
I left and got some food, waited for everyone to do the gens and leave then dc’d and sent him a ;)
It was funny to me but incredibly toxic nonetheless.
