The devs changed him because he was annoying and boring to play against. Has that changed? To be honest, I'm not really "having fun" when playing against him, I just try to gen rush and leave. I do have fun facing a huntress, or a bubba. DBD is the only game in the world where ppl ask the other part to "not play the best you can or you are toxic". And that happens from both sides, but Survivors are the worst about this. So the rift has been triggering me recently. Who finds the rift to be to much of a grind. i love playing the game but there are some people like myself who dont have that amount of time to complete 70 levels of the rift. One match, I noticed that channeling abyss near a downed survivor will cause a heartbeat SFX (long story short - taunting a bold and foolish survivor). MMR is more of a players individual skill yet thats harder to determine in this game with swf as one person can just distract the killer or they can gen rush thanks to coms. Like obviously players play better when they have coms and are in a swf. If your stated goal is a "good connection", you need to be aiming for 50, not 150 . I personally don't think it's fair for players to pick up the game and be at a disadvantage in completing the rift by having to own certain dlcs to complete certain challenges. I think there should be a path on all levels of the rift which enable you to complete the archive (get to the reward) without having to buy dlc.
