And a huge amount of questions about Lore.
Is Lore that important for other players? Personally, I don't care at all. I would like to see the devs focus on everything else (balance, bugs, matchmaking...), but not on Lore.
The PSS isn't necessarily meant to measure satisfaction with recent changes. It's meant to gather data on whatever they feel they need data on. In this case, apparently, they wanted to know what kind of lore players are interested in and why, probably for the development of the next Tome.
If you're desperate to give more feedback on the Ruin changes, you can always do so in the comment box at the end of the survey.
The Survey was way more general than about the Changes of the last Patch. Also they said that they are not intending to rush any changes regarding Ruin (the current version was thought about since July 2019), so what is the point in making a Survey about it? Same with Doctor. I mean, they only changed Freddys Slowdown-Add Ons after months, even tho players were happily stacking those with all the Slowdown Perks all the time.
They dont plan to rush anything and if they will not change Ruin (or Doctor) anytime soon, there is no point in asking for opinions about that.
They managed to ask about the newest DLC though. Not about any reworks that happened more recently. Too many questions about lore, makes me worried they're avoiding real issues and focusing on things that are kinda unnecessary for gameplay.
Honestly they probably will, but that update JUST hit, if they did that now everyone would just say negative things about Doctor if only because they are tired of seeing him.
Until the fuss dies down and people had time to just play it, there isn't much point in asking. Also on top of all that, they have very clear feedback about these things in the forums already anyways.
Just the usual Satisfaction Survey given by companies. Game Devs are no different. Questions about everything but the major issues that people are actually concerned about; a comment box at the end that they can just skim or ignore. The usual stuff. They know the issues we have -- Survs think Killers are still too strong and they need 3-4 survive games to be 85% rate; Killers have been begging them to address gen speeds and game speeds but they won't because it "inconveniences" Survs to sit on gens and hold a button; they won't touch Self-Care out of fear of recoil.... they'd rather leave the major issues we all have to the forums -- where they can keep ignoring it to crank out more DLC/Lore $$$ grabs.
They can get feedback on the biggest issues from the forum, though. They don't need to ask for that, people just give it to them unprompted. But there might be other things that they want to know about that people aren't just telling them of their own accord, and that's what they need surveys for.
