If you buy the Rift Pass now, you will get everything on the Premium Track up until the point you have unlocked it. So if you are at Tier 70, you get everything right away after purchasing the Rift Pass (including the 1000 Auric Cells).

Nice! Thank you for clearing it up for me!

Bubba. Not really a question. Ash has 2 meme perks and one so bad it can't even be a meme. Bubba has literally the single most used killer perk in the game in BBQ and Chili. Knock out isn't TERRIBLE but isn't amazing. It's more of a synergy perk than anything, Franklins is a very good way to deny survivors resources and is also currently the only real way to counter keys other than some extreme tunneling. Bubba himself as a killer is surprisingly good. He's obviously not near top tier but he can really catch some survivors off guard especially with something like endfury or bamboozle. Also you know, if a survivor really gets on your nerves nobody is better at making sure someone dies than bubba.

This was definitely the comment that put the nail in the coffin. Assuming the new killer is gonna be Candyman, Bubba is now part of my collection. Also for anyone who commented thanks for the help! Your persuasiveness worked lmao

Flip-Flop and Buckle Up they are perks that were before in the sanctuary, they are more decent, Flip-Flop is good to have in some cases when the killer is chasing another and leaves someone on the floor. Buckle Up doesn't really work that much, but combining it with other perks like Kate, Elodie and Bill seems to work quite well to avoid being hanged or giving the killer trouble. Mettle of Man, garbage.

I think he was once in the sanctuary but it was a long time ago, I don't usually buy much there since I have all the DLCs.

With Bubba it is easy to play and fun, you can collect the masks of the main survivors + the prestige + the bubba skin + the new one that is about to come out.

You seem well-versed in Bubba tactics, so I have to ask, even if I’m terrible with Hillbilly, would playing Bubba still be fine? Cause I suck as billy (though I’ve only played as him in green ranks on ormond so it’s not like I’ve had ample practice) but would my skill with Bubba be terrible if I can’t do billy? I know they’re pretty different in terms of power but at least in my eyes, they’re almost the same power.

  • Y’all are making me desperate to get Bubba now 😭. My plan was to wait to see who the new killer is, and then either buy Bubba or the new killer, but now I just want Bubba 😂.

  • @Clowning said:

Leatherface has one of the best perks in the game, Barbecue & Chilli, so if you want to play any Killer at all, I would 100% go for him. Matter of fact, I'd ensure all of my Killers get this perk sooner rather than later, as it will ensure you have a steady supply of Bloodpoints for all of your other characters, on top of that, Leatherface is a really solid killer.

Ash on the other hand... While he is Ash Williams and that's enough of a damn reason, his perks are rather questionable when it comes to their actual use.

So if you love both of them equally, then practicality ought to skew things in Leatherface's favour.

I’m a sucker for practicality, and I forgot about the BP aspect of BBQ and Chili. Definitely getting Bubba. Ash can wait tbh.

  • @Jarol said:

Bubba, Ash is a good character with good cosmetics but his perks are not worth that much.

Makes sense. But I do have to question, has any of Ash’s perks been on the shrine? I have power struggle and I mainly wanted Ash because of my fondness for him and Flip-Flop (I think that’s the recovery to wiggle perk). If flip-flop has been on the shrine before then I’m definitely getting Bubba.

  • @glitchboi said:

Well, I would ask who it is, but that would break the name & shame rule or whatever it's called, plus I don't want to start a witchhunt (if you do find out if they're a streamer, refrain from sharing it). I have a feeling that they could have been a genuine fog whisperer, but I'm leaning towards the feeling of them being a hacker considering you couldn't find their name anywhere else.

Yea I assumed that too cause of another persons post. Also I would never ‘name and shame’ them lol, I’m in switch and if there’s a streamer in the lobby I go to their chat to put my gg’s, regardless of toxicity lmao

    You can't buy charms

It is possible for cheaters to modify their saves and give themselves things though so it could be that.

Gotcha, I didn’t see any clear cheating so who knows. I’m leaning towards that though.

For some reason Ghostface isn't a paragraph and is a chapter despite being only him

Weird, thanks for letting me know!

  • Not sure how to explain it at the moment, but like, think Ash, leatherface, and ghostie. Basically chapters with a single character and nothing more.

  • @glitchboi said:

Eh... I doubt Jason would be a paragraph, I'm placing bets on him being a full-on chapter.

    @Science_Guy said:

Even if the lawsuit was over, they'd hold F13 for an Anniversary chapter anyway. That's one of the few things that they wouldn't just drop anywhere it could fit.

These are facts that I completely glossed over lmao, I’m very sorry 😂. F13 would definitely be an anniversary chapter, not a paragraph. Anyways I guess I’m solidifying my position on this site as the guy that just kinda says thing. But I’m completely ok with that. One of these days I’m gonna be right 😎

  • @Mooks said:

It’s not. The lawsuit is not over as far as I know, just some actor making up stuff or something.

They would not release a chapter that fast anyway and Friday 13th is a great contender for an anniversary and would be a full chapter with map and survivor.

legendary would be Jason’s mother, as she is the killer in the first movie btw

Ah the so the lawsuit isn’t over? Good to know. Also I’d assume Pamela would be a skin too but, no matter what Jason’s power is it wouldn’t work in her since she’s just crazy. It would be interesting to see though. But thanks for informing me about the lawsuit!

    Thanks.

That alone would only be mobility, so the Killer would need another Tool as well. probably chase/peeping related:

    showtime

    • Hold down the Power Button to stalk.
    • Cannot Stalk during Showtime.
    • Stalking Survivors charges up Showtime.
    • Showtime's charge decays while not Stalking.
    • Showtime is fully depleted upon damaging a Survivor.
    • While Showtime is depleted, The Vessel is Undetectable.
    • Cannot perform Basic Attacks while Stalking.
    • While Stalking, press the Basic Attack Button to activate Showtime.
    • Showtime has a minimum charge requirement to activate.
    • If Showtime is activated while fully charged, all Survivors will become Exposed until Showtime is depleted.
    • While Showtime is active, The Vessel gains 35% movespeed.

At this point BHVR just needs to hire you. I’d definitely main the vessel.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2407779#Comment_2407779

    Hmm

    The Vessel

    Curtain call

    • The Vessel starts the Trial with 4 other inactive Vessels that reside in Lockers scattered around the Trial.
    • While near a Locker that is not in The Basement, The Vessel has the prompt to use Curtain Call.
    • When Curtain Call is used, The Vessel enters the Locker.
    • While inside a Locker, The Vessel can highlight a Locker containing another Vessel.
    • While inside a Locker, the prompt for Curtain Call remains.
    • While inside a Locker, using Curtain Call with a Locker highlighted will shift control of The Vessel to the selected Vessel.
    • While inside a Locker, using Curtain Call again without a Locker Highlighted will cause The Vessel to exit the current Locker.
    • Swapping Vessels suppresses Curtain Call's Locker selection for 10s.
    • Survivors' Enter Locker prompt is replaced with Block Locker for Lockers that contain a Vessel.
    • Entering a Vessel that has had the Locker Blocked, takes a 6s Action to break free from the Locker.

That is literally so creative. It’s just…. *chefs kiss*

It would definitely bring some tension if you were never sure whether or not the locker you were about to open was about to have a killer jump out.

All fun and games till Dwight gets a new locker buddy.

  • @VioletCrimes said:

I'm not a big fan of FNAF (not a fan of jumpscares: they're startling at best and annoying at worst), but mechanically I'm not sure how this would work. I'm sure Springtrap could chase you, but he'd have to primarily be an ambush killer, I'd imagine. It'd be difficult to do that without making him too much like the Pig or Ghostface. Maybe if they gave him a perk where he could pop out of lockers?

Yea that’s what the common thought is I’m pretty sure.

But honestly what you said is something I’m much more interested in, a killer perk/power that could utilize lockers would be amazing.

  • Whenever I play trapper I usually get a 4K, so I’d say these two tips are pretty good:

•Chase them into traps you set down previously, it’s a basic tip but it will usually work since they can’t disarm a trap with you behind them. A place I like is patches of grass, survivors usually won’t expect it, especially if it’s in like the middle of the map.

    •Trap places in strange ways

For the last point I’ll elaborate. I trap shack, obviously, but in a different way. Leave one fo the doors or window trapless. Usually survivors assume since there was no trap there, there won’t be a trap anywhere. For example I played on Dead Dawg once, and I left the window untrapped, but trapped both doors. A survivor clearly ran in there when I found them and chased after them, but they made the error of assuming there were no traps (since she vaulted the window) and that’s the end of her story.

TL;DR: Trap weird places, not obvious ones, and leave a shack entrance open.

  • How many teachables do you have? If you have a lot and haven’t collected them Hex: Ruin may be in the blood web, but another perk line needs to be grabbed first, at least that’s what happened when I got overcharge.

This also applies to the hags web, the more perks you have to get the harder to find other perks will be.

  • i never noticed that! That’s so cool!

I saw someone say it’s a generic pumpkin but if you look at the carvings, in the original movie it’s meant to look like Michael holding a knife, and BHVR did a great job replicating it. Good catch man!

I was literally playing GTA Vice City pre-10 yrs old as a kid.

Maybe I'm a ######### up person beyond repair, who's past experiences invalidate all my arguments for what is right. Dunno.

I feel like a majority of the people who play DBD definitely played/watched/read things that were definitely not meant for them.

  • @Apollos said:

I wonder who even owns the rights. Human must be defunct and the last game was by Capcom, but there hasn't been anything since 3. If they do own the rights, DBD already has their foot in the door with the RE crossover, so it wouldn't be entirely possible. But it's a bit obscure unfortunately.

Yea human is full on out of business. Capcom owns 3. But your right about the obscurity. Maybe one day in the future it’ll happen though. Who knows lol.

TBH I hope Springtrap is brought back in someway in the new FNAF it's story was quite interesting ,

I haven't been keeping tabs on the new FNAF like I should.

I haven’t been keeping tabs either, but isn’t that what the whole glitchtrap thing was about?

Well I mean what was unique about Trickster? He's just a mix of Legion, Plauge, and Huntress. Nemesis's tentacle plays similar at windows and pallets like Huntress/Pyramid Head.

Every killer in this game shares abilities with other killers. When has this ever been an issue before?

It’s kinda always been an issue, but I suppose you are right. The main problem is, look at how much hype is built for Candyman as opposed to Nemesis. If Candyman just has a mash up power that’s gonna disappoint a lot of people.

also how is trickster a mash up of legion and plague??? I get huntress and that’s true, but what does legion have to do with the tricksters power? Knives?

  • @Okapi said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2406055#Comment_2406055

He can do more than just bees. He has the following abilities:

    • Levitation
    • Invisibility
    • Teleportation
    • Summoning and controlling bees
    • Super human strength
    • Mind control
    • Hypnotisation
    • Causing Madness and Hallunications

Dude is more similar to Dracula, Sadako, and Freddy than other more human slashers.

How would any of those do anything though? There’s only like 2 that he could get.

    -Nurse levitates

    -Wraith can go invis

-Freddy can teleport (so can nurse technically)

-Super human strength is present in perks already so not good enough to be a power

-mind control would be game breaking and too OP

    -doctor, need I say more?

all his powers are already present in the game besides bees, so unless BHVR comes outta left field Candyman dosent really have any powers besides bees

  • @Bravo0413 said:

this guy just really likes springtrap.

I pray that BHVR never goes with Candyman...... no matter how many requests, his power no matter what would be boring.... (what? a hoard of bees?)

When I made this post it was 2:38 am and I was TIRED. So I’m not like a die hard fan for springtrap (I’m rooting more for a clock tower chapter)

also I agree with the power point. He’s very much requested but his power would probably just be bees. 3 spooky 5 me.

  • I mean, a majority of DBD players have seen the forbidden tweets. We know what’s going on cheif.

i mean what? Twitter? What’s that.

  • I’m with you on that. I’d prefer Heisenberg over Jack. Though I’d prefer another resident evil chapter to not be so soon. Also in reference to your last post, yea they were referring to the new killer in some Dev stream and Matthew I think it was referred to them as a he.

  • @CashelP14 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2405576#Comment_2405576

I just think that with all the hype she had it's better to cash in soon before it completely dies. Especially whenever it's a paragraph.

Lady D isn’t gonna be a new killer. The devs already referred to the new killer as a he. She’s not off the table for future chapters though.

  • @Zokenay said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2404633#Comment_2404633

Eh... i highly doubt the devs take into account the related killer when designing a map.

Also i highly doubt the pizzeria (if that was the map) would be even close to the same size RPD is.

Yea, if the pizzeria or something was added for a map, it wouldn’t be close to RCPD. RCPD is two floors, multiple tiny room, and all around confusing. The pizzeria has… what, ~7ish rooms? All fairly large for like a single loop. It’d be easy to navigate.

  • Alright holy, this comment section is becoming super nasty, so let’s all agree to disagree and pretend like this post didn’t exist 😃 (can you delete posts on here? Idk I don’t use this website enough)

  • @glitchboi said:

I think this analysis makes sense. Scott's a pretty mischievous guy. However, I can already feel it. People aren't going to be happy in the comments cause FNAF is a "kids game" and "cringe."

Can we take a minute to appreciate I’ve already gotten both those comments 😂. But hey, at the end of the day, it’s good to know that some people see where I’m coming from!

  • Seems to be a topic that a lot of people don’t like to see? Meh, I’m not saying it’s springtrap, I know as well as everyone that there’s a 90% chance it’s Candyman, but it’s fun to speculate. Also if it does defy all odds and end up being springtrap I’ll get the satisfaction of knowing my blind speculation for fun was on the nose.

  • Does anyone think that the new killer is Ghost Rider? It’s a chain and with my small knowledge of motorcycles a chain is on there (right?) Ghost rider is on fire so that would explain the red on the chain at the end, as in its heating back up, though this could just be blood. On another idea, does it say exactly that this is a killer somewhere? If not who’s to say it’s not a survivor? Maybe an inmate of sorts. I’m wrong about a lot of things, so I just be typing to see the letters move lol.

  • My guy. It’s working now, thank you for the link!! By law I will give you my first born and goat. But for real though, thank you so much!

  • @Foxfire47 said:

I have it for the switch and I haven't had any problems like that. Did you check the system for any updates on the game because that is a possibility and the switch just didn't prompt it? But I will go with the default have you tried turning off and on again? I hope that helps.

Yea I’ve turned it on and off lol, and it’s running the most current version and it still won’t work, thanks for trying to help though!

  • @FireHazard said:

    @Th0ughtless

You could just be looking too into something that was probably a error in how the map was listed. Like I said it was most likely an error on BHVRs part when writing up the survey, since the map is indeed a part of the Auto Haven Wreckers map set.

Azarov's Resting Place (As the name implies) was probably where The Wrath buried his body or killed Azarov, but he took his Skull and Spine and made it into his iconic weapon.

Oh hey you again! And yea that would make sense haha, thanks for the helpful answer!

  • If your playing survivor and getting tunneled by the “noobs” then bring perks to help in a chase. (i.e. Lithe/dead hard/ balanced landing, quick and quiet, and maybe spine chill for a heads up since it works when killer is looking at you through walls.)

  • @Fibijean said:

You mean the jumpscare noise? I believe it happens when the survivor gets grabbed, or when the killer comes out of Undetectable (such as if they've been using Insidious).

    @FireHazard said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1016096#Comment_1016096

For the most part yeah, grabs, undetectable reveals, etc.

For some reason it doesn't work on Killers that suppress their Terror Radius to 0 or near 0 like Myers and GhostFace, it just activates a chase if you run away from them.

Even they lunge at you out of nowhere it doesn't make the "jumpscare noise" or anything like that, that noise is specific and only works with certain conditions like grabs, locker grabs, grabs mid-vault, and sometimes undetectable reveals but not always for some reason.

Aaahhh ok so that’s what that is! I’ve always wondered why it didn’t happen all the time and my question has finally been answered! Thanks guys!

  • @Mang_Anwar said:

    When they lunges? Like grunting?

I wouldn’t say it’s a grunting sound, it’s high pitched and sounds mechanical if that makes any sense.

  • Ghostface is easily my favorite, I like being sneaky with his power... though the octopus gargling noises he makes when near you whilst using it isn’t that great.

  • Yea I’m going to have to agree with some of the others here, it’s nice but it’s way too long for the games standards. If someone with a flashlight was nearby when this was going on, you would get stunned right out of the animation. Granted window/vault grabs are rare but they still have a fair chance of happening and it’s best to just leave it short and sweet so no unwanted percussions come from it.
