Had a great game last night, we had a tough killer taking us to town all match, eventually we ended up with a gen left and two survivors, me and David King. I bumped into David as I was running away from my friend dying on a hook, he ushed me downstairs, down into the school basement. Does anyone else have the problem where you sneak up on someone, start the grab animation, but then half way through it stops? I play Pig and Spirit a lot, so i sneak up on survivors on generators often. What causes this? Is it a bug? Is it intentional? Ranking up has no reason to be in the game. All it does is do a really piss poor job at separating good players from bad players, puts you in more sweaty af matches, and you aren't even rewarded for reaching rank 1 (Besides the achievement but not many people care about those) And now from what I've seen on the PTB, it is even Harder to rank up, and STILL no reason to rank up. I haven't seen this yet. But im sure someone has tried it. Does being broken prevent people from healing your slug up? It is considered a healing action by the game. With dedicated servers in the near future the time comes where bhvr should start fixing survivor and killer hitboxes. I understand why there is a hatch. HOWEVER, when the killer finds it first it is just absurd because it boils down to a boring and unfair waiting game where the killer has to pay annention constantly to stop the victim from escaping( for the grab)while a victim could literally go afk for 5 minutes and then maybe try or just play around on a gen or two. When you play as Michael Myers you can stalk survivors even when in Tier III to move much slower. The Nightmare perk: Remember Me, extends the time it takes to open the exit gate. So by combining the two, theoretically you could create fear through tension by stalking survivors opening a gate affected by Remember Me, that may take up to 50 seconds to actually open. Honestly just had a ptb match on rotten fields against a good looper. I tried my best to ignore them, but they started to notification spam me with a locker. It's really frustrating. I enjoyed watching the behind the scene for The Plague. I hope to see more of this for future chapters. My favorite part is always being able to see the concept art. I almost always play killer in the game but recently started playing survivor a lot. I'll be running away from the killer and the killer will lunge at me and hit me when the end of his weapon that he was swinging was not even in the same Galaxy as me. Today and the past few weeks, my killer's movement speed is slowed and it's kind of like lag but it's like I'm walking and it feels like something is pushing the killer back, if that make sense. Of course iridescent stone and stitched bag are really good but they are purple and red addons and thus not always available for every game. However what is really common and easy to get is loads of trappers bags and leather sacks. After playing Trapper for a good bit i cant see any other addons being more viable for trapper than those two combined when considering rarity. I've had matches as a survivor where we've fixed all gens ridiculously fast and everybody escaped with the killer not downing a single person. On the flip side of this, I've had matches against hex ruin where 2 people are dead and not a single generator has been fixed and it's just me left with a random player and hex ruin still standing. No more spawning after 2 gens are done for everyone to see and for certain survivors to give up the actual objective and wait for the hatch. No more hatch being available once the exit gates are ready to open. No more hatch after an exit gate is actually open, so that some toxic jerk can hold the killer hostage for it. Had a game as Doctor against a sweaty organized gen rush SWF squad. During the game I noticed only one of them was a strong looper so I tried to focus on the other survivors. The game wasn't going too well, though. While i like the design of the plague she has a big problem and thats that good survivors will just stay broken and finish gens asap and dont have the need to use the fountains. I wait at least almost 30 minutes, if not less to find a game with my friends just to get lobby dodged. It’s annoying. So many complaints about DC’ing but let’s not forget that some killers like to cherry pick their lobbies. 2 Flashlights? DODGE. 4 Medkits? DODGE. And furthermore, what if damaged gens regressed 5% and the gen repairs at a slower rate for a brief time (say 20% slower for 10 seconds) and requires survivors to enter the repair animation for that duration to “cure” it? No more gen rushing or gen rushing via tapping mid chase. First i would like to say i think that its a good idea to make ranking up harder because rank is so meaningless at the moment, however i have a few issues with the new ranking system, which i would like to highlight via 2 matches i had and 1 theoretic example. 1 Match: I downed all 4 survivors within 1 and a half min and then hooked them. I keep seeing people telling others who have an issue with the price of cosmetics to just not buy them or that they don't have to buy them. You're missing the point of the discussion. It's not about money, it's about value. Many of us, myself included, think that the price of cosmetics in game time and money does not match their value. That would be so cool. Kind of similar to Doctor, survivors in her radius would slowly start to get sicker and sicker. Then the Plague could be another killer that could make use of terror radius perks. I understand it was used to prevent cheating, however, it's time to get rid of it. If the grind is this horrible, there shouldn't be any reason at all to prevent us from having as many BP as we want. I've maxed out my BP in a single day and have three cards ready to pop for new killer. I'm not trying to P3 her but damn, I'm pretty sure I won't even get her to lvl 35.
