Matchmaking is broken. You want to play as a killer, the queue times are short. But... today you have to play against red ranks. They are experienced players, they loop you well, they don't waste pallets they know where each pallet and window is. So, I have been having issues all day with the matches, both as killer and survivor. Survivors keep running into walls and then teleport. The killer runs into a wall and all of a sudden he is behind me and hits me. I freeze before performing interactions. Ok so I just want to post this to see how others feel about the game right now but this newest update im feeling the game has become extremely hard to win as survivor not due to the removal of infinites but the straight up lack of palettes now. The most unfun Killers in the game are the ones that have super quick chases and anti-looping, but no map pressure. Clown, Doctor, Deathslinger, Hag etc. They feel horrible in chases and their weakness is gen rushing because they can win chases but don't have the mobility to patrol generators too well. Please just stop with these. It encourages M1 gameplay for Survivors and doesn't really let t21 comments 241 views last activity

I'm not sure how people are doing it, but usually toxic/upset survivors will DC on the hook in such a way that the game never ends, and they're stuck in the DC animation on hook. This doesn't happen often but it's starting to get more frequent.5 comments 101 views last activity

I've been playing this game since 2016 and have seen balance on both sides. A year or two ago, I would get to red rank with both killer and survivor. The last 18 months have been nothing but continual survivor nerfs and the continual decline of any type of skill needed by killer to 4k during matches. Yes I know that there are a lot of other threads on here talking about Freddy but I just want to put my opinion on here. I'm a survivor main but I play both sides (red rank survivor, purple rank killer). Freddy is really unfun to go against as he can spam snares. At tier 45 of the monthly Rift pass we unlock Mid-Length Locks & Fade, an Adam recolor cosmetic. Beneath his right eye is a smear of color - a red to yellow gradient. What is that? Im not going to go into NOED at all for obvious reasons. Hope in my opinion is severely under rated and is not often used. Adrenaline however, is meta. So why not Hope? I think it has to do with 120 seconds not being long enough. I’ve been playing a variety of games lately and every time I play dbd my controller “disconnects” at least once a match. The controller stays on and I have to force disconnect it so I can turn it back on and get the controller disconnection message to go away and get back to my game. Is this happening to anyone else? I mean I am used to play with potatoes at rank 1 buut lately I get matched with people who have 40 hrs, 90 hrs and are way more worse than my new swf team wich are all 3 new to dbd. how strong is a springwood God loop, The whole game this player everytime that I found him, he ran to the same loop I did not want to follow him because it's so strong loop at the end I was killing 2 survivors so I decided to follow him and it is the result when you get in god loop. I just was one of two survivors left on a map. The other person got found and downed while I started struggle phase. As soon as they were hooked the game ended for us both. I didn't get to finish my struggle. The other person didn't get an opportunity to either. Is this new since the patch? Why on earth is my SWF which consists of rank 3,1,5,2 getting a rank 20 killer??? Is MMR active?? did i miss something in the patch notes where Matchmaking just throws people into any match regardless of rank? Im confused. What I learned/know: It takes a lot of skill to survive, and it takes a lot of skill to kill everyone. There are issues in this game where people often bicker about. Normally survivors troll and then complain when they lose. Killers make themselves OP for as long as it gets them their 4K. All of a sudden at red rank I am CONSISTENTLY playing with grey rank players. Yesterday I got paired with THREE rank 20 Wraiths.
