I'll admit, I've had a bit of an obsession with this perk. I know it's not all that good most of the time, the blaring warning it gives when in use nullifies most of the stealth bit about it, yet it calls to me. So for those of you aren't aware, you can attach a message to a friend request on PlayStation Network. Usually, this mechanic is used to let the person know who you are IRL when you send the request. In DbD, some PS4 use this mechanic to attach some smack talk to the friend request post game. So, disconnects are a problem. Again. Great. Part of what was hated about disconnects, though, was the ability of survivors to disconnect and the hatch would immediately open for the other. There's an easy fix to this. When a survivor disconnects, the Entity should take them with the same animation as the end of EGC. At the end of the animation, the hatch opens as normal. So we will begin with Leatherface. I will start off by saying that his changes are indeed buffs. He received a nerf technically in his camping abilities, but why should we care about that anyways. I was in a normal match against a freddy and my teammate escaped using the hatch at 1 gen, kinda rude. However, when the freddy kicked the hatch closed and the endgame collapse started, it instantly ended. Currently as it is, NOED is too powerful and game-changing on it's own and literally takes an entire team to look for dull totems instead of doing objectives or alternatively taking perks such as Small Game. Changing it to a Hex Totem or reworking NOED to function in a different manner would be beneficial. I play Killer and Survivor equally and I believe it's bs. I hope we see a return to form with normal increase x and decrease y addons instead of gimmick addons :/ Billy's new addons are really bad and the only ones worth running are brown and a few yellows. Green and up aren't worth it. I'd also like to see the devs look at what addons are the least used and spruce them up per killer... over time of course and make them more appealing. Rather than make a small tweak to Leatherface's power, the devs decided to give him the ability to chainsaw up to 3 times longer and he's faster. He also gains his charges back instantly for downing someone from a UR Add-on, which can end up him playing like the Legion, only it's the exposed status effect than mending. When it comes to Crossplay, do you think the Switch players will have a disadvantage to other Platforms? Because of the weaker perfomance on the console itself and they never faced Freddy? I just wasted 35 (!!) minutes on a colossal map (Dead Dawg Saloon) trying to find the last two survivors just for them to abuse the hatch in the end. You'd think the game would AT LEAST reward the killer a pip after such a long game, but no. Genuinely curious! Has anybody ever pulled one of these off? I feel like loads of people (myself included) didn't even know this was a thing for the longest time. Usually if you are in range to try to execute it your ass was grass already. I keep hearing streamers say that, because of his size, Chucky would be problematic with getting the survivors on hooks? All that needs doing is to make Charles Lee Ray the killer, the one whose soul transferred into Chucky, and do something with Chucky being his power. Is anybody else often getting flamed for basically just running in a straight line not allowing any outplays on the killers part if it's for example a Pyramid head or clown etc. How is it "noobish", I don't use any resources, u run after me for at least 40 seconds as a m1 killer and there's no potential for you to outplay me on many maps. Chainsaw reving and holding at loops was a big big part of hillbillys mind game potential (watch curve montages of Billy mains on youtube). This was essential to get the most curve downs with him. Adding this stupid cooldown by heating up in just a few seconds pretty much puts him down to an easy loopable M1 killer against good survivors.
