  • So... If someone with 10000000 hours didnt play for a while and will drop down to rank 20, he will be playing with some poor rank 20 killer without any addons? EZ GG.

And anyway, most confusing idea ever. How... What? What difference this will make exactly? Lower ranks will be less powerful and higher ranks will be the same as now? With more stuff to play with?

Get rid of the fake spirit left behind when she phases. I personally think it doesn't make sense for it to stay behind anyway, this would allow her to be just as strong in some cases, while eliminating the ability to fake a phase. I just think overall it would help solve a lot of what makes her feel broken.

Why? What do you want fix here?

  • @PNgamer said:

Don´t get me wrong, i know the devs had some problems.

But for the love of god, fix it finally and bring the Penaltysystem back.

Mainreason: player´s can´t take their loss.... Point

And the funny part is this could be easily solved.

DC? +100% BP to everyone and -1 Gen. need to be fixed for escape.

    Not that hard, right?

Penalty dosent matter, you can ban me, i dont care, i will not waste even one single minute more to play against Doctor. I will just play another game. :/

Please, I know people will come with "we need the game fixed" or "devs won't make another gamemode soon.

    But what about this?

Hard Mode; Ranked matches as per usual, however, there are some twists:

    • No Auras. At all. (Shouldn't be an issue with no perks)
    • No terror radius.
    • No perks.
    • Footsteps of all players is 1.5x louder.
    • 2X Bloodpoint gain after game.

Just a concept, but what would you guys think? Please, if you're going to comment, have criticism on why! Not just "no", thank you!

So how this will be harder for a killer? Because sounds like killer heaven to me.

Sneaking is stupid and half of the time kills the entire team.

Cool. Maybe you can explain why often im last one survivor? And all those amazing loopers need to be saved all the time? :/

  • @Anara said:

The problem is not the game, but the players nowadays, everybody wants to be good without hours of playing.

When I started dbd it was late 2018, the game wasn't new, I played with good players and I was with my Claudette with only one perk. Now I'm red ranks. I started by hiding in lockers, now I know how to loop.

The new matchmaking is coming soon, but I can guaranteer you that new players still won't stay. Some of them will, the one who loves to train and be better players, but 3/4 of them, the ones who just cares about winning (like the new generation of gamers) will not stay.

The problem is : the new generation of gamers.

Dude, i have 150 hours. It is HUGE time investment from my side. HUGE, basically i play only 2 games now, beat'emup sometimes and DBD. Game is designed worse than F2P, because in F2P games i could buy progress to save my time, here i buy DLC and i cannot use it without hours of grind. Should i quit my job and farm BP in DBD just to play?

Not everyone is nolife. So loop out of here with this "git gud" attitude. The problem with players nowadays is thinking, everyone should have 10000 hours to waste just because they have so much free time. One day you will have a job kiddo, maybe even your own kid if cybersex will be already invented, then you will understand.

  • Why Developers don't respect Players time in DBD?

Im not a streamer with 3000 hours playtime, im not a kid with free 12 free hours every day to play DBD. I dont play games to be best in this #########, to prove myself or achieve anything, or whatever dumb reason i can think off.

Im playing, because its fun for me. I like play to relax after hard day.

And i like DBD, it is one of most funny multiplayer experiences i had for a long time... But it is also huge, COLOSSAL waste of my time and life.

Developers don't respect players time at all. Whole game is build around grinding and F2P mechanic. It still confuses me and i dont understand this at all.

While in game there are only few time wasters - SWF Teams when im Killer, and Mori/Doctor when im Survivor giving Killer basically free win no matter what i do and how good i play. Often losing because some "secret" perks like Barbecue & Chilli feels so random and unavoidable. Basically free kill for a killer.

Anyway, thats minor concerns. Game is wasting my time in menu.

Killers need to be grinded, to be good. Survivors need to be grinded, to be better or to unlock gameplay suitable for individual reasons. All need to be grinded to level 50, and only with luck that will be enough. I have to grind to unlock ONE TIME addons and skills, or bonuses allowing me to grind little tiny bit faster. I need to grind to unlock skills i bought (Dont even start, shrine is a joke, you have to buy DLC and grind) and grind to make those a little better, useable, if you want to be more precise. Because lets be honest here - berly anyone is buying DLCs for killers, they are not unique enough with cross-shared skills. I will maybe buy Pig for Surveillance just like i bought Leatherface for B&C. All skills are designed to be on level 3 and downgraded to give player a reason for grind. On top of that if i want level up Prestige, i have to add at least 100 hours to level up one hero, one of many, and lose all my progress, all my items, everything. And after a while even grinding hero to level 50 is not enough - after unlocking some skills on level 30 from 1/4 of killers level 50 is not enough to unlock everything, or even level up my favorite set to level 3. And level 50 bloodwebs suck in so much bloodpoints! I cant even level up basic killer set anymore. Now on level 50 my basic set is 3/1/1. :/

And Challenges, OMG, Challenges... So im like 150 hours, and thats HUGE TIME INVESTMENT FOR ME. DBD become one of most played games on my Steam account. Anyway, challenges are here for bonus bloodpoints. Fine. But i cannot make them! Fix 4 Gens? In one game? Without team thats IMPOSSIBLE. I have 150 hours and i dont have even 25% unlocked, i doubt if i have 10%. On top of that i have only 3 out of 8 books avaiable. :/ Challenges like Fix 4 Gens in one game or Stun Killer 4 times are almost impossible. I mean, HOW LONG DO YOU WANT ME TO PLAY?! Even without job i could not do all of this! My God, for WHO is all of this made for?

Uh, it is so frustrating. Basically this is one of 2 games i play 3 months now. And still it is not enough of my time. Not even close. I should play whole day? Live under a bridge and play DBD from free wifi? It will be enough then?

And yes, i already created thread about grinding sometime around 50 hours of playtime, but OMG, it is getting worse, and worse... Now even level 50 is not enough to unlock set i want. :/

Seriously, i wanted to buy more DLCs - Pig to unlock Skill (obvious one, right?) and Oni to play with, because i think he could be fun. BUY, i wanted to BUY this...

    (pause)

...but i dont have time to level up killers from DLC. -_-"

And no, dont even think about this, i will not buy freaking Bloodpoints, because i already bought DLC i cannot use properly. :/

Uh... So tired of this. Just wanted to play game i bought, but it feels more demanding, more and more and more and more, more of my time on top of my money. :/

  • Wounded surv. is slower, louder and basically easy prey. Why healing is bad then?

Anyway, running around like burned dog is maybe best option and sadly sneaking not. But i like sneaking, not running, so maybe dont tell anyone how they should enjoy games? Thats what i call Bad Habit.

If anything devs should balance Sneaking=Running.

Nice, Im about to p3 my doc, cant wait for the easy BP from the people that DC like you

Np. Cant wait to meet you. :)

  • @InnCognito said:

No, and I think its fine without it. If I get a team mate that DCs. I understand that their computer crashed or something came up. I just play the round and deal with it. If I am playing as the killer. I generally play the game out and let the last 2 remaining survivors go, or sometimes just the 1. I mean it is, what it is.

What would be funny is. If the survivor DC'd from the last match.

    • They get a "DUNCE" cap to wear for the next match. It won't be on that player's head until the match starts.
    • They have to generate a total of 20,000 BP before the cap and penalty goes away.
    • They have a reduced action speed of 20%
    • The character farts at random when near the killer (lolz, please tell me people here have humor).

I just DC every time when Doctor is my Killer. Penalty or not - waste of time trying to fight him. One time he didnt found me whole game, WHOLE game, until one gen, and only me and her on hook left... Game over. ######### that. Now i DC every single time on start. SOmetimes Freddy too, when i dont feel like i want running around whole map like a moron.

  • @calciumstructure said:

Okay, so I had this idea a week or so ago when playing survivor and I just want to relay my thoughts, maybe get a conversation going and see the community's (probably divided) opinion.

Walkie-talkies could be an item (honestly more for solo Q than anything) that allows you to communicate with other survivors from a distance as long as they also have Talkies, obviously only for a limited time for as much charges the Talkie may have + add-ons. Now, whether it could actually allow you to voice chat in the game, be a number of set commands (ex: "Killer headed your way!" or "Get a generator done!") or maybe even type (though this is the LEAST efficient way), I'm not sure exactly.

Of course they make noise, whether it could be the static of it or a player communicating with another. You would be able to turn it on or off as the killer gets closer or farther as to not alert them to your presence, though having it off could make you unable to receive communications from others who also have the Talkies.

If it were to allow for using voice comms, I can already imagine that there would be trolls and idiots who abuse the mic and just say awful things on the walkie-talkies or micspam, but this is why they have charges such as every item in the game. It'd encourage players to use the time they use to talk efficiently and to point out objectives or things they need doing (unhooking, doing gens, warning others, etc.)

If it's a set of phrases you could say into it that are preselected for you (which is the most reasonable option to me), there's going to be the problem of not being able to tell everything that you may want a player to know.

And there's typing, which I feel is the worst option because I personally type rather slow, and having to type something in time in order to tell someone something before the killer gets to them or to me honestly sucks.

Of course, a Talkie would only be reliable if the other survivors carry them or if they pick one up in a chest, but this is why lobby chat and being able to see others and their items is good. I am also aware of the problem of how you'd address certain players (by their username? Character they're using's name? The latter would make people unable to use multiple same characters in that case). I also feel like other survivors who don't have Talkies should be able to hear these comms if they're near enough to a survivor that does?

Do you notice any more problems this may have or concerns you may have with this? Do you like the idea and/or want to improve on the concept? Feedback is good (unless you add absolutely nothing of value to the conversation).

Dude, whole gameplay is build around having NO COMMUNICATION with others. Thats why SWFs are so big problem here. :) So i would say NO.

Also, i dont want to hear some random russian ######### blaming me for his mistakes. I have enough of that in DOTA2 already.

  • @Unfun_Tunnel said:

This is a message to all survivor mains out there. I don't want to argue, I have just one request. Considering how unbalanced this game is and the very little time required to do gens, tunneling is necessary and it's the most effective strategy. Give me one good reason not to tunnel, I'll wait. (No "because it's not fun" accepted, genrush isn't fun to go against too)

Whatever. I dont care. Tunnel, camp, do whatever you like.

  • @LinkOfSerevillon said:

Rather I'm a returning player. I see a lot of people talking about how no one wants to play killer yet, when I queue as a killer i'm in queue for almost 15 minutes. I'm particularly bad at killer and I get lucky if I can even manage to get 1 kill.

My best killer is hillbilly but thats because hes super easy and the one shot plus mobility is awesome so I'm sad hes getting nerfed :(.

Not to mention I can camp the hook with the chainsaw.

And thats another thing, I used to never camp because I didnt like it as a survivor, but the problem is that if I'm going to wait 15 minutes for a game to get not a single kill, yeah thats not fun for me. I'll hit people and hook them but I wont get a kill and then everyone escapes.

Then when I didnt camp survivors would talk about how bad I was for not getting a kill but they do the same thing when I do camp.

So yes, I'm bad and if I manage to hook someone, I'm going to camp the hook until I get better playing as a killer. Its not fun for survivors but its also not fun to wait 15 minutes for a game and not be able to kill anyone and barely get bloodpoints compared to instantly getting into games as a survivor.

My ideal perk build for killer is

    Hex: No one escapes Death

    Hex: Haunted Ground

    Make your Choice

    Iron Maiden

The only one I have so far is No one escapes death, but as you can tell they are all perks so that I can oneshot and have a chance to hook and hopefully kill. Information perks dont work for me since I still have to hit them twice which is why I love playing Billy, Myers, and Ghostface.

So basically, I'm not sorry that I have to camp and I get more bloodpoints when I do since I get more for that one kill than I would by not camping and having everyone escape. And even if that werent the case I would still have to camp since its not fun to wait ages to get into a game have everyone escape and then have to wait even longer because the survivors wont leave.

I refuse to go to the exit gates since they just go there to taunt at the end and I dont want to give them the satisfaction.

I thought killer queue was only long because of the event but it turns out playing killer is actually pretty popular. It makes sense, because just like in an FPS way more people want to play damage than a healer.

I want to have fun, and its fun knowing that I killed someone no matter the tactic. Its not fun feeling useless and almost like im playing survivor myself.

Yeeeeh, nobody really cares. Camp, Tunnel, what perks do you use... Whatever. If you are not using wallhack or something, its fine. Why are you explaining yourself then?

  • @Ihatelife said:

They don't want to do a meta perks for the dlc characters. It's because it would seem like the game would be pay2win.

Anyway still the base kit perks for both sides like small game, this is not happening, monstrious shrine etc could be a meta in future though.

Yeeeees... Exactly! If perks could not be shared, there will be no problem with that. :)

P2W? Yeah, now it feels that way. Basically, if you dont buy Latherface, Pig or Witch, you are done as a killer. :/

Be honest... You tried unhook yourself 3 times and then missed a tap. xD

  • Looks like SWF teams on duty. ^^

  • And why do you think Trapper needs a rework?

He is SIMPLE and one of best killers because of that - simple to play, and fun to fight with because of that. Simple to understand. I would be happy if every killer was like that. They really ######### up with Freddy, Doctor etc, because they forgot this rule - Keep things simple and fun.

    Thats said -

    NO.

  • @Komodo16 said:

Decide to practice huntress one of the hardest killers because I wanna get good with her. Get wrecked but the survs were nice they let me hit them through exit. Then NEXT match I get the game and teabag and point and no lockers by my hooked guy with endgame and yeah more teabags and crap and I get a gg ez from the guy I was camping to secure a kill and what irks me the most is they werent even that good and this guy had the nerv to say I was bad and also refused to rematch me with a killer who is 4.6. Which is what I always find funny is when I play a killer im bad at I get toxicity and crap and when I say ill rematch they stop messaging.

Just buy the character that has the perk you want. SoS is better for getting bps anyway. Let me explain.

Federal minimum wage in US is 7.25 an hour. You probably make more than that but lets just go with that number. Most characters go for 5 bucks. Earning 9000 shards takes a looong time. FOR SURE longer than an hour. So, if you think of your time as being money (which it is) then buying the character outright is cheaper. And its not like you need to buy every character at once, it will take you awhile to get it up to 40 anyway.

If you have a perk already thats in the SoS you get 150k bps for buying it again. Buying all 4 is 600k. It takes awhile to earn 8k shards, but it also takes awhile to earn 650k bps. Both take longer than an hour.

In all cases. Spending money is just simply a better use of that hour.

Another way of looking at it. How many hours are you going to spend playing that character? 40, 50 hours? For 5 bucks? Seems like a deal to me 🤷‍♂️

WOW! Single stupidest answer i readed this week. Congratulations! Take your crown, King of Fools.

I think keys should be reworked like come on, they are literally a click to win item. You can do m1 and hide all game then just get the hatch, and more people can get it. Keys are just broken. When I use mori, at least I have to hook survivors, keys are pointless. Do something, like you can open it only when it has been closed by the killer or only one survivor can take it, or maybe it should respawn in another point after someone uses the key, but do something, you can't leave them like this.

Keys are fine. Damnit, they need to survive until end holding all the time useless key. What more do you want? Its balanced the same way as NOED - Useless 95% of game, often 100%.

Just because you're not interested in the mainstream doesn't mean that everyone else isn't.

Play some Fortnite then and leave DBD as it is.

  • @Accullla said:

Every survivor in the game has identical hitbox, so don't worry about male characters being easier to hit.

To begin with, many new players choose to play the female characters, because theyre a bit smaller and easier to hide. However, once you become more experienced, you won't mind being chased and the size of your character won't really matter to you anymore. Stealth is not really a good tactic once you start playing against decent players, so you'll eventually hit the point where it won't matter to you whether you play a blendy characer or not.

You are kind, but i doubt i will ever hit this magical 5% with 2000 hours. :) And anyway i play for fun. I will be better, sure, but i dont want second job. Also i dont really care about running, i like to be snaky, i like hiding behind this one barrel waiting close to gen when killer is sarching me for minute and go away thinking i was already not there. :)

it’s not an excuse but one of their reasons. You don’t have to share their opinion but you can’t deny that this would make it rather bland if you see only the same survivor character 4 times in every lobby..

they said they want survs just to be skins and they see the items as their power.

Well, almost in every game i have BIll or/and David and Yui, often i played with 3x Claudette, Nea or Dwight... Or 4xMeg. And nobody cares. Anyway thats why we have cloth skins for every hero, right? To make them different.

And i really, seriously doubt, if hero skills could not be shared, everyone would play the same hero. Basically every hero could be separate play style (and they kind of are, just with shared perks this dosent matter at all) - Meg good at escape, Nea is Sneaky, Claudette is good at healing, Dwight have team perks... At this point there will be almost no reason to take second Dwight. If anything, this change will diverse heroes more, because for gamers game style is more important than how hero looks.

Hmmm, do you really think top players will take 4xBill to have Borrowed Time without Sprint? I would say BIG NO.

    @Mikeadatrix said:

Yeah, no. We already have the same meta perks used by every survivor, we don't need everyone to play the exact same character because its got the best abilities. People still swear to playing Claudette because of how well she blends, imagine if she had a bonus healing ability? Good god, nothing but Claudettes...

Yeah, and do you really think people would play only Claudette because of healing, without Sprint?

In MMOs, for example - I never played MMO with "Only Mages" or "Only Barbarian" and so on. Even if one class is unbalanced, everyone likes play diffrently - some of us like spells, others like to be sneaky little thief, and some people like easy, brute force of barbarians. In DIablo you dont take Mage, because she have cool skins, you take mage, because you like spells and stuff. Or Paladin, because you like to be team player. Right?

4xClaudettes will happen only, if she would be most overpowered survivor and she is clearly not.

On top of that devs could balance every hero better. Now its almost impossible, because every new perk must be matched with every other perk in game. Some of them are really god for pros and noobs. Almost in every game i see the same perks over and over again. On hero and killers side. Thats boring.

  • Level vote. Level vote! LEVEL VOTE!!!

It is the stupidest thing i seen in any multiplayer game in my whole life - one out of five player want to play in laboratory, all will suffer.

Imagine that - we are stuck in campfire limbo, bored, because there is always this one damn player who have trouble finding Y on gamepad. What if on campfire screen there was 2 randomly selected levels and we could vote? Lets say game will randomly select one level from MacMillan pool and one from Gideon Meat Plant pool (:D), and you could vote where you want play. Survivors will get one vote, killer two (that should be fair), and if tie, game will choose randomly one level from completely different pool.

IMHO that would be best new feature in this game. :P

EDIT: Oh, one more thing... TWO ACTIVE CHALLENGES! One for killer, one for survivor. I dont understand why do i need select damn challenge in the first place, but whatever. FFS so many times i forgot to change damn challenge and its so clunky to change it, it is almost a pain to do that. Damn, it is like the most obvious thing in game, an yet i have to change it every single time when i wonna play other side. :/

  • @Hoodied said:

I don’t know what you are talking about

Mori’s are unbalanced yes, but not enough to break the game entirely...and how the hell does an offering break the rules?

They allow the killer to apply immense pressure quickly, however with them losing much more overall BP

Luckily, Devs are looking into Mori’s and Keys and planning on changing them

Rules are - 3 hooks and you are dead. Simple.

EMM - 1 hook and you will die... also it is a secret, so basically killer have one free kill before anyone will know ######### is going on. And good luck with those gens in 3 vs 1 match in sudden death mode. :)

Lets turn this around - why survivors dont have simple ultra rare offering "-1 gen to open gates". Already i can imagine killer topics about game breaking offering in games, where they fixed just one gen and escaped...

Oh no, I love amnesia, all of that! But this game is a different kind of stress. That stuff is just pure, fun, horror. SOMA, The Forest, Amnesia, etc. I love 'em but this just feels so buggy and frustrating.

Oh, so its not about stress at all, not even about bugs really, its about unclear rules of gameplay. Yeah, this game will not give you any feedback about why or what is happening. You will not know why killer found you, or where you did mistake.... You will just die and see after game ends "oooh, he got that perk, now i know" and in another game you will die again not knowing why... And in another you will die because killer got ultra rare Ebony Mori and there is no counter to that, just free win for a killer, because for some reason devs like idea of wasting time 4 out of 5 players. :) Basically what i want to say - you have to be at least a little bit masochistic to like this gameplay. :P In horror games, or even other multiplayer games, you have clear rules and a lot of feedback about your mistakes. Here ######### just happens and it feels random. :)

this would so noice, example: when claudette have 20% more healspeed, Jake have 30% Calm and painlouder, Meg have... and and and, this was going noice, because all surviver are same have norhing only skins and characters, but killer are different

Those exist already... Everyone have perks. Imagine if perks could not be shared, how cool that would be...

    @Mooks said:

It was talked about and suggested to the devs a lot and also asked in a Q&A

devs answer was that they find the idea cool but will not look into it now or in near future, because they don’t want to create Meta survivors (surv with the better ability will be played the most) and because they see items as the survivor „power“

Meta? 90% of perks are useless now, because "they dont want create meta heroes/killers"? Yeah, poor excuse. Meta will exist no matter what, but this is the worst kind of meta now - everything is shared, everyone are the same, and devs cant balance anything, they just create more and more broken combos. :/

Hi, just curious about the general playerbase's opinions. I don't play any other online games, but this one causes such an immense amount of stress to where I literally get chest pains after playing a few rounds sometimes. Is that a thing on other online games or am I just crazy? I feel so dead after playing this game, but I love it still. DBD is most likely my favorite online game simply because I am a horror fanatic, but it feels like such a pain to hold on to these days, even after spending so much money on it.

(Side note: Mostly when playing killer does this stress occur, survivor I fare just fine and put on some music)

So you are horror fanatic who is stressed out by this? Play some Amnesia and come back, you will feel better here after that. ;)

And playing against an organized group feels unwinnable every time. I don't have fun in a match that lasts 8 minutes without ever being able to put any effective pressure on Generators, and i truly believe that most players who have play extensively at a high rank killer status would agree with me. A good solution I think is to boost blood points gained for every person in a SWF, and possibly make SWF have a much different effect on a players rank (survivor and killer). But overall the game really should acknowledge in some way that when you play against SWF you truly are playing the game on ultra hard mode.

Private 5 friends matches, no random people. Simple as that. :)

  • We are doomed. :/ 1400 hours, such a waste of life, damn, try cure cancer next time or something.

  • So you are bad killer? Change my mind. :)

  • No. Every game ever made have ######### in community. ######### are everywhere. Simple as that. This game have no more toxic players than any other.

But anyway - you are trying to say, DBD objective is more boring than driving to finish line with car, or shooting other people with guns over and over again, or killing mobs in endless grind? Every game is simple, if you think about this like that. Not every game is fun tho.

  • Why she need buff?

  • @Yung_Slug said:

Maybe they are 4-man SWF teams. They tend to be more toxic than randoms and you can't be matched up with them as survivor since they're already a full team.

In almost every game? Im level 13 killer after all. Few times i clearly got SWF team, they finished 2 gens before i even hooked anyone. I don't mind if it will happen sometimes, but damn, it is harsh when happen 5 games in a row. Just now, another game, Level 13 Killer VS 2,1,4,8. :/

When im survivor (once more, 6 ranks higher) nobody is body blocking, and after saved from hook they run away from me like i was trying to kill them, usually i need chase someone after that just to heal, and often i dont even have the chance, because they will run to killer or go to fix gen.

Im not complaining, just wondering what is going on.

Maybe my 13 Killer rank is already to high for me? I mostly got it while playing trapper tho. There are no better killer to mach those people? Killers are mostly "low" levels? Or i just got bad luck?

  • Well... Kids are growing up. Just wait 5-10 years for Enderman request in DBD2...

This is not a stupid thing to do, because greeding pallets against a Doctor is what gets you killed. And it's also to play around spirit fury if you see the killer has enduring. If they are running enduring it's safe to make the assumption they have spirit fury too, so dropping the pallet early prevents spirit fury from ever activating.

Edit: Actually for the record, greeding pallets against a lot of killers will get you killed. Freddy, Clown, Demo, Deathslinger, PWYF Bubba etc.

Like i said, i dont have 1000000 hours, but after my stunning 100 i NEVER, even once, seen Spirit Fury perk in use. And i beat you know why. :)

Even if SP perk was usable, droping pallets it is a waste, because killer will usually check sound so you have to run away, and if you will be somewhere else, he will just kick pallet, and you will never use it. Waste x2 - pallet and your time. Seriously dude, even i know pallets are to stun killer, with that you have a chance to escape.

And anyway, i never know who im fighting so droping pallets randomly seems even more dumb; and when it is a Doctor, i just give up anyway to save my time, no point of fighting him.

  • @Dead_by_Gadfly said:

Drop the pallet early. Theres plenty of pallets

Im new compare to other 200000000000000h players here, but even i know this is most stupid thing to do - waste of a pallet. :/

You play killer.. you get 10 games in a row Haddonfield, Blood lodge or any annoying map.

You get tbagged, BM'ed because you play a weak Killer.

AND then you decide to play with Spirit, Nurse, Billy or Huntress with a Mori, insta saw, insta downs.

once you downed everyone.. you take a breath and asking yourself ######### am i doing they have nothing to do with that

and you go in the corner and are ashamed for being such an A**hole to make people suffer from what other people did to you.

sometimes i really HATE this game. one of the reason i probably enjoy survivor more then killer.

Dont feel bad. :/ Mori, sadly, is part of a game like anything else. So you can use it, whatever. And those aholes tbaging you? Do you really care about some kids or morons with no life? Whatever. They are sad enough already, dont you think? Move on, dont waste any time thinking about them. :) And anyway, you are not making anyone suffer, it is only game, and when you play killer your objective is to kill everyone.

Hello fellow fog runners. I've come to a conclusion that makes me sad.. people just don't get it. Or maybe its ME that doesn't get it.. I'll explain..

I play survivor and killer mostly equally, but prefer killer. I am a huge fan of the original Texas chainsaw massacre for over 20 years so obviously main Leatherface.

After 3 years of playing, I've come to a point where literally 90 percent of my matches I find myself finding a corner to stand in so survivors can get some points so the match feels worthwhile to them.

In response to the hate mssgs I received when the game was new to me, I've learned what not to do (tunnel, camp, plank ppl for no reason, etc.) Playing survivor helped me also as I never do as killer what I hate being done to me as survivor.

This is my point I guess, I can come out of a match with 60-100k on average without actually killing anyone (I run BBQ, discordance, gearhead, and beast of prey.) And I feel good that everyone got a lot of points and had fun. I like playing games w survivors to make it interesting and have got nothing but good feedback from matches in the last couple years..

So question.. am I the only one that gets it? Cuz I'm sick to my stomach with the way killers play/act. It's attrocious the things ppl do "because they can"

Wake up killers, your not only hurting your own score by playing with no concience, keep in mind that NOBODY likes getting 3k points a match. It doesn't make you good friend, and karma will get you.

    See you in the fog.

    EmptyBore76

Dude, game is not about the points. You are the killer, and you have to kill. They are survivors, and they need to survive. ######### anyone care about points? Game objective is in the name Kill-Survive while outsmarting each other. If you wonna be Mr.NiceGuy play some MMO and sit in corner of map whole day, nobody will bother you there.

Points should not matter at all, and yet we have points, because developers are too scared to not give players something to earn. You know, like in F2P games - you are constantly "given" something to keep you invested and engaged. To keep your mind busy, so you can be sucked in and spend money. Sadly, this game have F2P structure.

It is sad, because IMHO game is good enough to have great playerbase without this #########. I would play for fun, im trying, still, but its so freaking hard with this grind and points in every screen of the game. Challenges, points, webs, score, im spending points to get more points to spend more points to unlock freaking skills i want... Oh, ######### off, i just wonna play and have fun. Ont top of that a lot of my games and time was wasted because of points, when killer with survivors were farming, and i just wanted to play. :/

Anyway, you should wake up, because its not about the points. And if you care so much, damn, play Pacman or something, this game is all about points and High Score.

I mean it's my obsession. Why would I need to start someone chasing and then go "Oh I forgot you are my obsession, sorry dude!" because the only indicator is the symbol on the bottom left wiggling when you chase your obsession. This doesn't make any sense. I, as a killer, should instantly know when I spot someone if he/she is my obsession.

I shouldn't even have to think about names and character models. It's not my hidden crush, it's my obsession!

This game is really badly designed and dont give player any useful feedback about anything. Killers dont know who obsession is, you will dont know where pebble will make noise, you will dont know why killer found you, you will dont know what mysterious icons on screen do, you will dont know someone is using someone else abilities... Whatever. They should hire someone to clean this mess.

Yeah I wouldn't be opposed to that, but at the same time devs said they're cautious of adding this due to privacy reasons and because they know trolls will abuse it.

But no, SWF is not cheating. That's like saying that tunneling is.

Why? If thats not cheating i also want have option to communicate. It will be cool to drop those aura perks for something more useful and just read/hear where killer exactly is, where i need to go to heal someone or fix gen faster.

And Trolls? Yeeeeeeah, someone should tell devs about Mute option, it was already invented quite some time ago and its working great. :)

But no, SWF is not cheating. That's like saying that tunneling is.

If communicate with team is not cheating why everyone cant do that? I want to communicate with my survivor team. It will be much more easy! I could change those aura perks for something more useful and just read/hear where killer exactly is. If this is not cheating i want in game mics to use!

And seriously, trolls? Really? Thats why there is no in game chat? Come on... "Mute" option was invented quite some time ago and its working great on trolls. :-)

Devs had said it isn't cheating and unfortunately they make the rules of the game.

Killers who really wanna dodge swf will check friends lists to do so, nothing you can do. But how many more would dodge if the info were easy to access?

Personally idc if I face a swf but it'd be cool to know if this was a team that almost beat me (or roflstomped me, depending) or just 4 very godly solo gamers.

It is not cheating? Ok then, i want in game mics available, or at least in game team chat on screen to communicate with my randomly selected team.

  • @Unicorn said:

I don’t see them doing this in the future. The Devs don’t want to punish SWF by heightening their queue times. Also, not every SWF group treat the game like a bully simulator so not all of them should be punished just for being in a group with friends and enjoying the game.

Maybe friends games should be played with FIVE players? Only private. How about that?

And it's not your fault that the forums have made you believe that SWF is some evil boogeyman that causes you to lose half your games, rather than you just having room to improve as a killer. And who knows! Perhaps someday you'll actually get friends as well, play SWF, and see that comms don't make players good. But that first step might be a bit out of reach.

Dude, this game is created around random people working together in silence. How do i know? No in game chat, no in game mics. Survivors groups meant to bi "silent" and mostly random. Thats the point of this whole experience.

Devs are just afraid, i dont know what tho.
