A few days ago I had a rough game where I got a 1k (as the spirit) and the survivor I killed went on a very homophobic, racist rant which proceeded to ruin the mood of my stream. I reported him/her in DBD, Steam, and also made a post on here, but it hardly got noticed. Watching an interesting video Tofu made about a month ago about this sort of issue. And boy, did he nail it. Essentially, killers are still expected to abide by an outdated code of honor, while survivors just...aren't. If one side is going to do everything possible to win, why are killers expected not to do the same? Today I lost ten in a row, but I lost the three before that the other evening. I don't even remember losing that many consecutively when I was learning the game. I'm not actually a terrible player. I think I'm realistically a Rank 7. I do pretty well with one or two good players, but I'm pretty useless when facing the top tier Killer players. I'm not sure why the Devs haven't created any meaningful incentives to use No Mither. Personally, I think there are two directions that the perk could be taken that would make it really, really good. Direction 1- No Mither is all about high risk/high reward. I have been playing this game for a long time, currently with 3400 hours. I play solo 95%+ of the time because every time I introduce someone new to the game they just quit because the grind is honestly ridiculous and not fun. I've played Killer, SWF and solo q and solo q is the most frustrating role in this game. My build lately has been Kindred, Iron Will, Spine Chill and a random perk. Just thinking this could be helpful for me and probably a lot others, but when I'm watching videos and stuff, a lot of times I'll hear someone say something like "Yeah, X perk is good but not alone" or something like that. This is a dumb question but I can't find an answer anywhere. I know bubba has a 32m terror radius, but I swear I can never hear him until he's right up on me. Does anyone else have this problem? Played against 3 bubba's in the last two days who I've had this problem with, and none were using perks that make them have a smaller radius or go undetectable. trying to rank up as red ranks as survivor is just plain stupid recently, its breeding a toxic atmosphere of everyone racing to get that one unhook. I could do 2 gens, unhook 2 people with various other things like chasing, healing etc etc, even after I did all that and opened a door the killer got me and camped me on hook so I lost rank. When this combo first hit live everyone was panicking. It’s OP, it’s unfair, it has to be nerfed. I admit that first week it was really good. The totems lasted all game and survivors were getting shredded The past week though I’m really seeing how well survivors have adapted. Why do you tunnel intentionally because you can just down them again? Playing against her more because of crossplay has opened my eyes to what most nurses do. Anyone else found that in the past month or so, pallet spawns are really off. Often i'll have game where an entire area will be dead zone, with usually only 1 pallet to an entire side of a map, or in general there'll just be large sections with no pallets spawned.
