DBD players have a lot to put up with. Bad balancing, cheaters, scuffed patches breaking the game in some way every update, lack of communication until very recently, gamebreaking bugs that have been in the game for months if not years, horrible maps that are far too big for either side to properly enjoy. Survivors have it easy, run in circles and press their ability or interact buttons. I think that more skill checks around window vaulting or even after sprint bursts would make it more even with killers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I had a match where a Steve teleported out of sight and my game would freeze when hooking him. It stood still for like 3 seconds and then kept moving. I think this Steve was hacking because I couldn't catch up to him even with bloodlust . I Hooked him once and then I couldn't catch up with him, compared to the Bill I downed I got the Bill faster. At least once every two or three matches, someone will DC the second I hook them. Sometimes on their third hook, sometimes the first. I don't camp, and I don't tunnel (although if I run into you, I'm taking the shot) - and I understand the psychology in situations like that, but I thought that there was a system to detect and punish repeated DCs? So yeah, i played as killer on RPD for the first time due to the Survivors i was facing used a map offering to it. I thought it would be fun, but its actually kinda hard as killer i think the biggest problem is this, its huge. Hey so I was wondering I played dead by daylight on console and on mobile. There is a feature on mobile that is not on console, and that's creating a custom game with bots. I went against three Ruin+Undying killers in a row, sweaty af too. But i understand why it was added, it puts you against people of your equal skill wall (or atleast close to it). Can someone explain me how the dc penalty works? Penalty increases every time I dc the games IN A ROW, right? And the penalty resets with every game I play without a dc in between? Like if I dc my 1st game, play 2nd(no dc) and dc on the 3d both dc penalty for 1st and 3d game will be 5min? or 10min for my 3d game? If thats not correct, how does it reset? Every character P3 50 all perks. On one hand I'm happy cos I don't feel like this game will be a job until a new character comes out. On the other hand I'm astonished at how bad this games grind is. Most importantly the RE chapter added so much to the grind by adding in 9 new perks and 3 new characters. So as confirmed, DC's were excluded to calculate the average killrate. We all know that a survivor DC'ing is very common, but lets be generous and lets say only 1 survivor in 10 games will DC. This can mean 2 things depending on how bhvr excludes DC's from the data. Now I cant remember the stats exactly, I think the highest was about 55-58% so basically most games is a 2k Now the issue I have with these stats is once again not showing the ranking bracket (low, mid and high mmr). Yes I know MMR is a pile of garbage and has no skill within it but its still be nice to know. Once again going off kills is a terrible idea both for balance and mmr. I equipped 'Balanced Landing' and currently I'm at 2/4. It's strange because it doesn't feel consistent when I fall and my BL procs. I did it on the hill against deathslinger, I hear the chase music, he's after me, I fall off the small hill in Macmillan and my BL procs, but apparently it didn't count toward progress.
