This. This right here is the entire problem with this community. "This is BS. I still won easily, but it wasn't easy enough. Nerf X!"

There are some legitimate complaints, especially when it comes to SWF bully squads, but these kinds of posts should just be thrown in the trash. It's why we get the impression that killers will not be happy until survivors just spawn on hooks. You already win the game, but you complain it wasn't easy enough.

This is almost always the case. Every time when killers shows endgame lobby pictures to prove a point in how survivors use the same strong perks and how they are OP it also shows all those survivors died in the same game. I just dont understand what goes through these people their mind apart from being blinded by bias. Seems like that in this community not many people are able to look at things objectively.

If you just look at FACTS this is all so ridiculous:

-Stats show that the average killer kills more compared to survivors escapes. People (main killers) also say these stats dont mean anything, meanwhile its a FACT that 60+% see more death screens than escape screens WHILE DC's ARE EXCLUDED FROM THESE STATS, which means surviors experience this even more than 60%, alot more.

-OP says he had an unfair match.

-OP says he 4kd in this same match.

-Also OP, asks for pallet nerf.

    unbelievable.

ah yes i lied, were u with me in that game?

because im seeking attention or something i dunno but i guess everyone here who complains about nurse are lying too...right

and also FYI i actually got a 4K.....

Thats exactly why you are able to make a lie like this. You can do this without repercussions because you know other people werent there, yet im a person that uses logic so im sorry that i can see right through this.

Dont you see the irony in this? Here you are making a thread about nerfing pallets, yet in this match that felt unfair to you, you still had a 4k WITH all the "unfair" pallets (not to forget as a pig who is 1 of the few killers that is very weak against pallets). Dont you see how biassed this is?

Killer gameplay is very stressfull, stressfull killer gameplay in dbd has almost NO link with how balanced the game is. you can 4k 10 games in a row and still have a ######### time as killer. So because you dont like killer gameplay but nonetheless still play it, you want to add changes that unbalance the game even more than its current state?

Since you play killer you should be very familiar with the feeling of how ######### it feels if youre not able to do anything regardless of how perfect you play. Do you understand that this happening ALOT more to survivors than to killers with the current state of the game? yet you want MORE survivor nerfs. The killrate stats show this, the steamcharts started to show this, people are leaving and YET YOU STILL WANT MORE NERFS.

i please ask you to take a step back and look at it with a less unbiassed view, and you will realize how bad the game currently is for survivors (not even talking about just SOLO qeue). i know its hard to do from a biassed view, but at least try.

  • Kinda ironic how you say impossible loops while the loop you show is a 99% GUARANTEED hit. I think(know) you are not telling the truth about that the whole map was like this, It just wasnt (and you know this well enough that youre overreacting). I also assume you get upset and feel like survivors are OP when you lose 1 game right after you 4k'd a few games in a row. The balance has already completely shifted to killers, which SOMEHOW is an actual dev design decision.

Asking to nerf pallets at this stage of the game is just mind blowing. pallet nerfs wont happen since the dammage of patch 6.1 is starting to show in the player numbers, and it will only get worse when the devs realize that the player dropouts are permanant dropouts instead of people taking breaks.

They took away all fun things from survivors, now even changing flashlights by adding a cooldown which is LITTERALY an anti-QOL update.

On the other hand i maybe wont be that suprised when a pallet nerf comes. To me it seems obvious that for a while now some1 is calling the shots at bhvr (gameplay wise) that has no idea of what he/she/it... is doing with the game, yet convinced upper management the opposite (note that this is speculation).

  • They said before that they exclude DC games when they show stats, if this is the case i assume the actual killrate is probably +70%.

i cant believe how out of touch they are that they think this game is about scary gameplay and have to "balance" around that instead of having actual 50% balance. Before the patch good killers constantly 4k'd, my condolences for these killers since their games must be so damn boring now to the point of quiting. The 100% constant BP bonus for survivor is good, the more people play survivor the faster they realize how unfun this game has become and will end in permanent dorpout of players, this is clearly a bandaid fix for the expected drop in survivor players but i doubt this will be enough for much longer.

They cant keep bringing in new players since they already milked the population so much that there are barely people left that would buy this game. Using well known killers to reach people outside of gaming, adding a kpop killer just because of how huge the kpop community is. Alot of lgbtq marketing because its such a relevant world topic yet has nothing to do with the game. Their marketing team is what kept this game alive for so long combined with events. People also mostly keep playing for the adrenaline/dopamine rush, not for the actual gameplay (which is very stale if you think about it for just a second). These dopmine hits have become so rare on survivor side since the update and are not in balance anymore with the amount of ######### you have to go through to get those few short during dopamine hits.

With these stats that clearly show unbalance, as well as the devs stating that they want it like this, as well as alot of fun stuff changed/nerfed and absence of dopamine rushes that kept players playing in the first place, i can confidently say that player dropouts are shifting to permanent dropouts. People want things to be fair and they dont want to give it to us. time will tell.

Stop citing the "killers were all around 50% kill rate so it was balanced" stats pre-6.1 patch because those were before Dead Hard validation, Circle of Healing, Garden of Joy, and I think Eyrie of Crows

You know there are more recent stats than 2016 right? stats way past DH validation. Circle of healing got added 19/10/2021 to the game, stats from late january 2022 show that ONLY 2 killers had a killrate below 50% (yet still higher than 49%). Maybe there are even more recent stats.

DC games are excluded from those stats as stated by the devs. Lots of DC's are from fast downs at the beginning of the match, 9/10 a match like that would have ended in a 4k anyway because of killer snowball effect starting to early. This are games were 4 surviors wont experience fun yet these games are totally ignored in stats. You also got these people that DC at the very last second, i assume these games are excluded as well.

DC games should be excluded but should not be ignored as they clearly were.

Alot of people seem to be coping in this thread. Instead of coping try to understand/read the graphs. Its so visible if you look at past week(s) playercount. Its a consistent drop from week to week. People play more in weekends and this are the times that they realize how unfun this game has become which will result in more drops every week.

If i remember correct the next update is tommorow, mark my words how fast they will drop compared to other chapter spikes. Its obvious this is going to happen. Im amazed how many people are blindly ignoring what is happening to the game. Its seems to be mostly killer mains that are ignoring this, i wonder why.

I disagree on the size not being sufficient, particularly for the perks. Once you’re above a few hundred entries in a sample your confidence level is already fairly good for an informal result and the site is collecting thousands of essentially random opponent samples in the periods discussed. And I seriously, seriously doubt there’s some bad actor intentionally trying to upload extremely cherry picked opponents from multiple games trying to skew the data.

Feel free to ignore the post if you want, though, that’s fine by me.

Its hard for me to ignore a post that has so many flaws in it regarding statistics. My background/experience in statistics gives me the urge to correct someone that is completely out of touch with the subject and doesnt know how to use/read data, especially when data is being used that shouldnt be used in the first place. Ill stop trying to make you understand why this is bad since you already disagree with the simple parts and clearly dont comprehend the basics (you also emphasize using the data is useable for perks, note that this is just a small part of your post, also the representability for perks is still questionable to say the least). Those people that upload arent random people, these uploads are biased, this is just how humans psychology works but bias like this is countered in actual research with for example different techniques in which way the sample is gathered.

I can only ask you to do more research on what makes data representable enough and what makes it reliable, and trust me this is alot of research since in some cases a sample of 5 people is already enough and in some cases 10 000 isnt enough (which brings is back to the start since every upload in your data is not done by a unique person which makes the conclusions youre trying to make completely unreliable).

Ok, Ill give 1 last simple try for you to comprehend a basic on why this is such bad data to use for the conclusions that youre trying to make:

Does the average population like apples? you ask 10 people, 5 people like it and 5 dont. In your data you ask the 5 that like it 10 times while the people that hate it you only ask once. RESULT?: you got 50 people that like apples and 5 that dont, and this is used in your data to represent THE WHOLE POPULATION that ever ate an apple, and on this data youre going to make conclusions?

Just the simple FACT that this dbd data includes subjects that are measured multiple times MIXED with subjects that are only measured once makes this COMPLETELY flawed in representing a population.

  • @dugman said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3141420#Comment_3141420

You’re definitely both underestimating how many games are included and also not understanding how the data works for the perk usage.

I just touched the basis on why this 1 thing i mentioned already made the data completely useless to analyse. Its already breaking 1 of the first rules of statistics, i dont find it worth to spend my energy in mentioning everything else why this data is bad to use, i would be writing a few pages.

However, this 1 single thing you mention about perks usage is something indeed a bit more useable, yet it isnt because of the small amount of people uploading this (as a killer its not hard to just add games that include certain perk usage that you hate to try and prove a point, again, this data is extremely sensetive to bias, and we all know how bias completely dominates every discussion on this forum)

I think youre underestimating how big the sample has to be because of the so many variables in this game that cant be controlled.

  • The data is useless, the amount of games uploaded does not represent the actual population results. These uploaded games are from such a small sample of the population. Also these people are biassed since almost no1 will spend time on uploading this unless they want to prove a point (so data uploaded will be in their favour). Reading these stats is like measuring the average height of 10 males that voluntary do this (so will probably be above average) while measuring each person 50 times. It gives no correct data that you can/should analyse.

No whilst I understand your reasoning - that killer shown in the video is holding those two survivors hostage, those survivors cannot do anything to progress the game, the killer is holding their game hostage. It is clearly a hostage situation, and a bannable offence in game.

Everyone in that match is playing the same round/game though. The survivor is hostage for sure, but the game? there is only 1 game being played. it is a hostage situation indeed, but not what is called "holding the game hostage". Lots of game have this issue and their own rules to prevent this but the meaning of "holding the game hostage" itself is not something game devs can give different definitions to at will. its not a perspective from 1 player (which you use in your reasoning) but its about the whole 1 round. Other survivors/teammates can still end it. Its just incorrect use of the term.

  • @Mandy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3128694#Comment_3128694

I'm sorry but that is incorrect...that's clearly a hostage situation as those two survivors can do nothing to progress the game. It's immaterial that there are other survivors alive in the game, the killer is preventing those two survivors from taking part in the game in anyway and they can do nothing about those circumstances. So yes there, the killer is most definitely taking the game hostage which is a reportable offence under griefing.

He's correct though that this is not holding the game hostage for the exact reason INoLuv explained.

Holding a survivor "hostage" seems more like it but there is no rule about that. I assume the example in the video would be bannable because of the griefing rule "Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience" but the game can end because other survivors can do gens.

People want the same odds in pvp game which is exactly the opposite of what the devs want and are doing to the game.

I'm people and that isn't what I want. I want Bloodpoints and a good time. As long as I'm pulling ~20k BPs per match I'm happy. Surviving to 20k is what I want. I dont need to escape to have a good time.

What you as 1 person want has nothing to do with what the game should be and what the average population wants. These things i mentioned is part of basic human psychology. Its just a fact how close the experience of having fun is correlated to having a challenge, winning and feeling of fairness (aka balance). For every 1 person like you there are 100 others that want balance.

  • @Tostapane said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/340650/this-game-is-unfair-and-the-data-prove-it

Balancing around statistics is a foolish thing to do since statistics are flawed (remember that a lot of people also will self suicide on hook just for the fact that they aren't happy about the map/killer), plus those won't tell you how really is balanced the game (I can do a match with 0 hooks but winning in the end cause I slugged everyone with noed for example, or I can finish a match with a 2/4 but only because I let the remaining survivors farm for Example...). If you want balance around statistics then nurse should be buffed and pig nerfed...

Statistics are the best way to balance a game which is why its used for balance in every single game... You dont just read the numbers, you apply logic to why the number are what they are which is a basic rule of statistics. We all know why nurse killrates are what they are, you dont have to be smart to understand that. Your opinion is that because of certain variables you shouldnt use statistics yet that is exactly why they are used, to get a better understanding of these variables and make adjustments while using logic.

How does killrate not represent the balance? slugging counts to killrate, DC's games are excluded. The game was finally getting close to 50% escape rate and the devs decided that this is not what they want, they want it to be a killersided game which is to capitalize on the "horror/scary" aspect of the game. Its just a dumb decision, people want balance in pvp games, this aint a game like outlast. Dumb decision on the devs part since they already have trouble keeping players. If you start a queue with the expectations to die because of unbalance, thats the point where people start leaving. People want the same odds in pvp game which is exactly the opposite of what the devs want and are doing to the game.

  • Lets also not forget that games with DC's are excluded from that killrate as stated by the devs.

Survivors experience a much higher killrate than the graphs present

  • @Killer_BeeYT said:

To put things to rest immediately, I play both sides equally. I have nearly 3K hours (yeah not as much as you 15K monsters) but I can safely say that this patch shows just how much survivors relied on being overall busted for 6 years straight. There are so many players just not playing the game because they can't get gens done and bully the killer at the same time now and seeing so many people complain about it is honestly awful to see. The reason the kill rates were so low was that survivor was busted for 6 long years. Thinking otherwise is just... Showing how blind you are. The devs finally said "Alright, we're gonna make changes for the better." And now this game is actually balanced! Yet so many players are literally trying to change the stats so they revert it. Unfortunately the only thing to say to these survivors is... Get good lmao. It's as simple as that. Stop being childish and complaining over huge changes that were bound to happen if the devs cared about the game.

Past 4 years killrates have been far above 50%... if you say survivors relied on all the "busted" stuff then why were the killrate still so high?

Devs recently said they want the killrates to be higher (because they became close to 50%). Survivors want balance, 50% escape rate. killers want unbalance, 4k's every game and satisfy there weird power-fetish. These survivor "crutches" like DH were ALWAYS part of the coregame balance preventing the escape rates to go too high.

Killrates were about 50-55 pre patch. devs say they actually want an unbalanced game so what do they do? increased cooldown after attack, faster break actions, 10 seconds extra on every single gen, buffing genkick, buffing bloodlust, shorter survivor sprint after hit, and if that wasnt enough they also had to remove/destroy the strongest survivor perks. On top of that this also makes the camping tunneling meta even stronger (the oh so fun part of the game...)

And here you are, saying we are blind because we complain...

These changes were never bound to happen as the game was finally getting close to balance, now for some unlogical reason they want to change this game into a horror game where survivors should expect death every game....

People are quiting, they are coming back here and there just to try it again to end up quiting for good. Lots of main killers seem to say that the player drop is normal after the anniversary and big patch, this is some hardcore coping. people have now had another weekend to test out the patch to realize what a shitshow and unfun bs this game has become. Next 2 weeks you will see some interesting things on the steamcharts, cant wait for it.

Before the update, no one would have called Legion OP or Thana strong. But that 0,5% buff really got people rolling...

This is not bias anymore, this is some next lvl delusional comment...

Yeah just 0.5%. How about we ignore the tons of complaints that were already there after legions rework, and the extra added gen time, the faster m1 cooldown, the faster breaking pallets, decreased survivor sprint length, nerfed endurance stacking, nerfed DH (which was a HUGE legion counter).

but yeah.... its just the 0.5% that got people rolling.

    unbelievable.

  • @Silasy said:

You are overreacting. Coordinated teams still better than killers. Playing with braindead solo teammates doesnt mean this game is killer sided.

There are as much bad survivors as there are killers. You can't just assume killer gameplay attracts only smart people while only dumb people play survivor. Yet somehow bad killers don't seem to have any problems anymore, not even against average survivors. The moment a killer knows how to play, the game is close to decided at the beginning of the round

  • @Malkhrim said:

"With this patch SWF even feels completely trash"

Now that's not true at all. Any team competent and organized enough can still be really strong right now. Even without that "ultra high survivability" they got with DH, they still have sprint burst. They can pair up perks to do gens faster and actually exchange information to avoid snowballs, and they have an easier time countering perks like Thanatophobia, Pentimento, Overcharge and Eruption.

Going against these perks does that sound fun to you to play as an swf, even if you win? It's not fun. When you win those games thats only thanks to 2-3 survivors being nonstop on gens, amazing gameplay... They are removing chase interactions/gameplay from survivor and are doubling down on the gen repairing part of the game, the most boring part.

  • Killer queue will go up to at least 30 minutes, AT LEAST. Lots of SWF will give up soon as well since all fun/balance is going to be taken away, only the hardcore sweaty SWF's will stay (which is around 1% of the survivor population and not 99% like killer mains make it out to be). I hope mainkillers will enjoy their huge queue just to get their 15 minutes of power fetish. Im out.

a BIG THANKS to BHVR for cutting my shackles, i can leave with 200% certainty now knowing that i will have more fun elsewhere!

I really wouldn't be surprised if some survivor players have actually already stopped playing the game due to survivors getting so little baseline buffs against camping and tunneling in the upcoming update. Not to mention the update actually buffing camping.

    100% this.

When I saw the update I thought to myself ''lets play alot before the update goes live''. I played 1 round this week and I was done.

Killrates are above 50%, meanwhile the devs stated in the update that they want the killrates higher, so the killer feels more ''scary''.

They don't understand their own game after 5 years, I'm out.

I know I won't be missed but I must say I've been enjoying my time 10times as much playing other games the past week.

You know looping is really the best part about survivor gameplay right?

It was fun, a long time ago. Not fun anymore since so many killers are antiloop now. Its more beneficial to run away from a loop to a dead zone, that's how strong antiloop powers are (at least in the hands of competent killer players). Most loops you can run max twice but somehow killer players seem to have forgotten how to run lots of loops to their benefit. These kind of good killer players are silently laughing at this update and will start to get 5 kills in a game.

  • Drop everything and go buy a lottery ticket right now.

  • Kinda ironic, This would result in the killer downing the first survivor more easy so he can start camping sooner.

  • Survivors still get alot of bs hits when they drop a pallet, it's just not as much complained about anymore because EVERY hit used to be bs for 4 years. Now its close to a 50/50 between feeling fair or unfair (maybe a bit more in favour of survivors but that at least balances it out a bit with current amount of bs window hits.

  • @UnknownKiller said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3021671#Comment_3021671

Yeah devs want 2k 2 escapes

    1 survivor 3 gens

1 survivor 2 gens and endgame

    Perfectly balanced.

Sadly this is not true (anymore). We know how the stats always show that the average killrate is above 50% for every killer (apart from nurse if I remember correct sitting at 49.x%).

They stated in last update that they feel the survivors escape rate is not as low as they want it to be, and want to make killers feel more of a danger. They don't understand how important the 2k balance is and seem to go for 3k average now. People are always doomthinking that the game will die with each update, but if this 1 update goes through I'm actually sure the drop of survivors will be HUGE.

I can already imagine legion games, we all know how long and tedious these rounds are. No more dead hard to sometimes put him out of his power, 10 extra sec on each gen, buffed thana... Bruh...

  • Totatally feel you OP, but look at it a different way, a gift from the devs, the best decision they ever made. Tipping the scales so much, taking away so much fun that there is no reason to keep playing. I'll still enjoy some rounds before the update goes live, but after, I'm a free man again! Tbh I can't wait!

  • Damn, what a coincidence.

Everyone commenting +50% solo escape rate seems to have a strong favoured killer post history.

    thats so weird!🙃

  • Because this first downed survivors has the most info/look on how the game will go. They know which (OP) Killer it is, multiple perks/addons, skill of the person playing the killer, bad latency hits. these are all things that determine how fun a match will be.

But the main thing is that the first downed survivor can see what the 3 teammates are doing (while getting carried to the hook) . And let me tell you that 9/10 times its not fun to look at, just people slow walking/crouching/doing totems/hiding in locker...

Everyone also hates specific maps or going against the same killer multiple games in a row.

In short, there are LOTS of reasons to die first hook, why would you stay in that match when you have enough experience to determine that you will have fun or not, i rather go next game knowing there is a high chance it will be more fun.

  • In solo Q, if a good looper with Dead Hard is chased first you actually had some hope to escape (without using the hatch). Prepare for even more 4k's in SoloQ

then how removing dead hard will push the game balance WAAAY too much in favour of killers? when some do fine with out it.

"some" is the keyword in your comment, im talking about the total dbd community on which the stats are bases. Imagine if balance changes are made on the experience of "some" people... you have to look at the total population , its really not a hard concept to understand.

how about this when the game start the gate are powered ready open....

ready for this I escape a lot and I don't use deadhard

I also play Solo so yea.

Very thoughtfull and constructive comment with alot of logic applied. However, this doesnt change the facts.

  • Just removing dead hard will push the game balance WAAAY too much in favour of killers. Dead hard increases survivability by alot but it is rooted into the core balance of the game. removing dead hard will have to come with some big survivability buff for survivors as well.

  • Didn't they say max 1 lock active for each survivor? So max 4 locks on the whole map?

  • Didn't the kill rate increase in high MMR? Since DH gets used exponentially more at higher MMR and the kill rate goes up, that just shows how necessary this perk is for survivors. This perk is stuck in the balance of the game, if it gets a big nerf it's just gna be 4k games nonstop. DH is OP compared to other survivor perks, yet it's a necessary evil that keeps a bit balance. The problem with DBD is that the game is heavy killer sided looking at the stats BUT the 'balance' of having fun is far in favour of survivors.

  • This "just spread" is the same as survivors telling killers "just kick the totem" to counter CoH. Its so obviouse how pro-survivors threads instantly get overrun by killer mains when the game balance is on average still killer sided which is shown in killrate stats. I guesse it's because most survivors can instantly vent to friends they are playing with compared to killers that keep it bottled up and have to resort to the forums. It gives such a wrong direction to the devs to what changes have to be made. Complaints will only stop if killers can point to survivors to blow them up. 4k's just isn't enough to feed the power fetish that alot seem to have here.

  • Yeah those matches are so annoying to play, I rather go against a god nurse that wipes the whole team in 3 minutes. It was deserved for legion to get a buff in a way to down people more easy so he can actually hook more people. but why buffing the part what made legion annoying in the first place, I don't get it... Mending,mending,mending...

  • It needs big obstacles in the street, killer can just hook 1 survivor in the middle and see everything, you can even patrol most of the gens while camping in the middle...

  • @VegasRalphie said:

Maybe. What's the harm in testing it for a few days, though?

We can trade anecdotes and hypotheticals all day, but at some point we just need to collect data.

And then a week of DS BT DH UB basekit , you know, just to gather data... Not everything needs testing when it's obvious what effect things will have

  • What I hate most about it is that it is a passive power that makes the killer win lots of games. It can be a person that plays killer for the first time and just win by a passive power because it gives so much pressure. It doesn't feel right to lose games like that. Its the same with not finding the ruin hex totem because of a godspawn. Its not that rare where all 4 survivors search for ruin and somehow it's not found (or takes very long). Its just not right when the whole team is clearly outskilling the killer in chases but then lose because of something that the killer doesn't even control.

  • A gen that pops before you can reach it at start of the match is only because multiple survivors are on it, which is good, as killer you dont want each survivor on a different gen. Completed gens are parts of the map you dont have to go to anymore. Every gen that is done makes it harder for survivors to finish the next gen because its much more easy as killer to pressure the much smaller area. 3 gens in 90 seconds is VERY rare... is it fun? no. is it fair? no. should gen speeds be adjusted because of your 1 game experience that maybe happens 1 in 50 games? definitely no.

  • They should at least do something else with keys. After hatch nerf I've seen just 1 survivor that had a key (which he couldn't even use that game). That's 1 key in like 1000+ games...

  • @mustdogen said:

Billy: remove both speed charge add-on,and give a over-heating mechanical without any compensate.

Deargslinger:nerf him so he can't shoot right after aiming.

Trick star: Naaa don't need to do anything,he is suck enough that can't be ruined anymore.

    What?

    It's already happened?

    Aaaaaaand, thread ruined...

  • Wish they didn't double down on things that made a legion already annoying. Legion isnt even part of the killers that are rarely seen. Currently its just heal/mending 50% of the time. I understand he has trouble downing survivors but regardless, people were still playing him because it's fun to play as a speedy slashy killer (so was th change even necessary in the first place). now on top of the already boring heal/mending style it will become even more of that+ gets downs more easy as well. I don't mind buffing him but at least change some stuff instead of the increasing annoying playstyle that both survivors and killers already have to deal with in so many cases...

  • Plague who can puke 10 times more volume then her body can hold, a nurse that can teleport, twins that can poop out multiple lil goblin to attack survivord... Yeah let's base the game on things that make sense....

You're not helping survivors by quitting. First off, if they care at all about pips, you're basically keeping them fr pipping and more than likely they're losing a pip.

If they care about blood points, you're preventing them from getting as much blood points than they would have got in an actual match.

In terms of quality of match. The game isn't designed to be a 3v1, so obviously the match is going to suck more.

You know though you may be on to something. You're doing the other players such a favor by disconnecting, don't just limit your service to us all there. Why not uninstall? That's the peek in terms of avoiding a bad game on an individual level, but also helping those that actually want to play the game. You should do that instead.

The DC rate when playing solo is so high. If I see how annoying the round will be and stay, then some1 else will in most cases or just suicide on hook. Why would I uninstall when I'm actually having 10 times more fun games compared to if I play them all?

Killers can see swf in lobby and just dodges, that's a luxury survivors don't have. We can only see later in the game how trash the match is or will be.

Trying to make a point that some1 shouldnt DC because it's not fun for others is kind of dumb since at least 50% of games are tunneling camping killers...

I would call that statement a BS hyperbole as you can A) not determine all add-ons/perks during one chase and B) human error and determination to win and all rng that come with them are not predictable.

I have won more than enough games in lol, r6s, rocket league and other team games from the back foot just by not giving up.

Blight nurse and some other killers with certain perks are close to a guaranteed loss if you play solo survivor. If you already are fighting an uphill battle as solo and some1 goes down fast on top of that, while the killer possibly still has strong add-ons as well and a juicy NOED waiting for you at the end... A sane person would DC and go next 5 min later.

And you say here that once the game goes south against the mentioned character it would be the "sane" decision to end the game against them and not let them have fun.

Again, i call BS here that you could determine ALL add-ons and perks of the killer especially as solo player without communicative Exchange with the other players. Even going as far as mentioning NOED which is absolutely unclear until end game, and the complaints in this thread are aimed at early suicide/DCs.

So your argument remains that the sane option against every killer player using those characters and their good/best add-ons together with an assortment of perks the survivor thinks of as oppressive would be robbing them of a complete game.

And then i extrapolated that line of thinking to the other side and in an analogy every killer should just straight up cut games short when they know/think they face a swf squad with a set of items and perks the individual killer thinks of as "sweaty".

Of course my point was a exaggerating your initial statement but the underlying point remains that point from your post to me remains "if you think the opposition is using strong stuff and I might lose the game, might as well just cut the trial shorter for everyone and guarantee no one will have fun."

I guesse you're just not experienced enough, it is easy to tell from the first chase what add-ons and perks the killer has, at least the obviouse ones which dictates most of the games. Yes , I understand you can never know how the game will go but you can be close to 90% right. I rather go next instead to try for that 10% possibility of having that round to become fun. Its rly not a hard concept to grasp you know?

So in your eyes it's the "sane" thing that neither blight nor nurse nor 4 men swf should get any games ever again until something gets changed by bhvr?

Yeah because that's totally what I said.......(this is sarcasm btw). If you play solo when you're experienced enough, you can tell from first chase how the game will end 99% of the time.

Nah. A born loser would certainly disconnect though. I play solo and never disconnect. Because even if it's a "certain loss" I can at least struggle on hook to give my teammates a chance.

In a way a person that DC's (because he knows out of experience how the game will go) helps the other survivor to end the game quicker so they can go next game as well. You insult those people saying they are losers , but in the end it's the smart decision if you want to have fun (which is the main thing what playing games is for, which lots of people seem to forget).

  • People that DC are mostly solo survivors.

  • You have no idea how many free hits a killer gets when they find a survivor on a gen. SB will get je to a loop before the killer can get that ez first hit. Survivors will also pre-run to loops if they don't have dead hard. You're clueless if you think SB is below DH
