prove thyself bug?
i was literally buffing myself doing gens faster without anyone around buffing me... i have the perk equipped btw, literally saw the bar in yellow... is this a visual bug or i was indeed buffing myself? btw no one in the match had the perk only me. was kinda nuts ngl, i thought i were doing gens faster, wich i hope gets fixed because would be extremely dumb otherwise.

Was there someone else nearby you who wasn't working on the generator?
If there is another player with 4m, then both of you will receive a 15% repair speed buff. So if You are repairing a generator and the other person in next to you cleansing a totem, you still get the buff.
That or it was a rare bug, which probably won't happen to you again.
as i said, i was doing gens by myself, no one around. the bar was yellow, and i was doing gens faster i felt it. it reminds me of wake up bug back in the day.
Was the perk icon for Prove Thyself lit up?
Was there any other buffs that could have increased your gen repair speed?
if u read my first comment wich seems you didnt, you would of notice that i said no.
I mean if you wanted anyone to take this seriously you would have included video proof of it happening. Based on the fact that you didn't do you really think people are supposed to just take your word of mouth on what you think happened?
You never said if the Prove Thyself icon was lit up.
You didn't give any indication that there were no other buffs active, only that no one else had Prove Thyself. I don't know if there were other effects in play that you didn't recognise as buffs.
I reported this bug nearly a month ago with video evidence (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/280056/prove-thyself-working-solo#latest), no mod acknowledgement.
Did you have Spine Chill, or Resiliance?
