Bubba and Billy
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm just irritated I have to buy a Battle Pass for a game I already paid for AND 10+ DLC's.
They should just make DBD ftp, introduce an actual professionally made anti cheat that actually works, and make OG DBD owners get rifts for free.
-
Disappointment.
But obviously I want SoloQ improvements, make it so Survivors can see each other when a teammate is hooked.

Remember the "lighthouse totem" on top of the hill? That got removes because it was too obvious. Some patches later they reintroduced them on the map reworks. I still don't understand why.
The problem is that AFAIK every map tile has its own totem spot. And for some map tiles these are quite bad (e.g. LT wall, 4-lines).in general all common map tiles have universal totem spawns wich are the same across maps. Then there are some new tiles or special tiles where totems are better hidden.
But the real problem are still the survivor spawns. No totem will spawn in a 32m radius of you if you have direct LOS. But... You can still spawn on a totem you have no LOS on at the start of the match. In some matches I just turned around 180° and found a Hex. Sometimes you don't see it, but you hear it right next to you.
Frankly they should remove Hex sounds. They are way to easy to find atm, Hex's are a joke and the only ones worth running are Undying and Devour Hope.

Sprint Burst is a perk that you have to be constantly aware of using, while Dead Hard was and is not.
Not everyone wants to walk around all game, or waste their perk constantly.
-
Depends entirely on the Survivors
-
The biggest difference is difficulty in aiming, Killer's like Huntress, Trickster, Nurse, etc that require precision are much more difficult on console.
Besides that it is basically the same, Survivor feels perfect (you can change which buttons do what, so no more accidental pallet drops or jumping in lockers), and my biggest issue with Killer is the lack of deadzone settings.

@JoByDaylight said:
These perks might be a little strong haha! Very nice ideas though.
Coward at Heart: I feel this should be an exhaustion perk. Maybe give a Sprint Burst after unhook and cause exhaustion? Would be cool to combine with BT and Guardian, and could be a good crutch perk in endgame.
Like Bran said above, those perks might be overkill..
I would like a perk that works like Lethal Pursuer for Killer, an extended aura read period for aura perks.
Coward at Heart would probably be better as a 150% exhaustion perk haha, didn't think about that

It's not going to stop people much. The next problem you'll see is survivors just running up to the killer, letting themselves be downed so they can suicide on the hook.
Their time is being wasted, so that's a win for me.
-
Depends how DBD feels without it
-
This is also good lmao
When you check on your dad and mom after he's drank 8 beers since he got home from work
-
Nope.
Not now, not ever.
-
The perk genuinely ruined the game for M1 Killers
Good riddance, gone and should stay gone forever.
-
Probably Billy
-
No.
-
Thank God they are so generous, one whole blood web. Maybe.
-
They aren't having fun.
I'm not having fun.
SoloQ was always miserable, but this patch makes it feel like someone stomped on your ribs after you got hit by a bus.
-
They didn't test the perk before changing it.
Same with Calm Spirit and Iron Will.
They don't play their own game.
-
Sweaty people will just play casual because competitive would give them harder games.
All this would do is divide the player base and make queue times twice as long.

The absolute silence from the devs is disappointing as hell.
You can't have a game with only Killers y'know? You need four survivors for every killer. And right now, there is no reason to play survivor.
So many killers are tunneling and camping, despite having been buffed far beyond needing to do so to win. Only now a killer can effectively earn a 3k, or even 4k with camping, where before survivors were smugly told to work gens to combat camping. There is no counterplay.
Survivor gameplay has become
HOLD W ➡️TUNNELED➡️CAMPED TO DEATH
No unhooks, no chases, no mindgames, no fun, no points.
Wow, what a great use of my leisure time after working a full time job all day.
Tunneling and camping did not get the attention they deserved
Killers are having more fun, but SoloQ isn't, and SoloQ ALWAYS had the least amount of fun in DBD as it was.

Dredge.

Yun Jin, Jane, Ace.
Shoutout to Jonathan though!

What about people who have to DC because of hackers holding the game hostage? Or if it actually is a fluke outage?
I don't think the first disconnect should be punished harsher but the past few days have clearly shown there needs to be some harsher punishments in general. I think the system should remember how many disconnects you have for longer than 24 hours (or whatever it is right now). If you get 5 disconnects in a rolling 6 month period, 30 minute minimum ban at that point. Plus maybe a flag on survivor in lobby to allow others to dodge if needed.
A flag to let people know someone DC's a lot would be lovely.
I think the effects should last for a week bare minimum, with it starting off at 10 minutes, then 30, then 2 hours, 12 hours, 48 hours, and then a week long ban.
-
There is nothing enjoyable about Legion in any capacity.
No one likes mending simulator.
-
He honestly does not need a buff, he has counter play but a TON of map pressure.
-
@Mooks said:
Just run No Mither with it and you get a guaranteed Medkit from the beginning!
But I am curious: how is scenario A different compared to before? Did the killer stop focusing on you because of the Medkit?
I liked grabbing a Medkit at the beginning of the game.
I can't do that anymore.

@SuzuKR said:
So your conclusion is the power is a problem. Instead of just buffing solo Q info so they can handle it better. What???
I DO think SoloQ should be buffed.
But I still think a Killer's strength shouldn't be passive.

No, once again you're wrong. A killer with a passive main ability still needs to actually get downs to win which takes skill and is fun. Just because YOU don't like playing as a killer with a passive ability doesn't mean you speak for everybody.
It takes no skill nor effort on behalf of the Killer.

No, YOU'RE wrong, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a killer's main power being passive.
There is because that is not fun nor skillful.
You are once again wrong.
-
@dugman said:
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a strong passive power. It’s not as if he can win by doing literally nothing, he still needs to be able to actually win chases and get downs.
It might be that his Chain Hunt is slightly overpowered against solo survivors, he does I think have the highest kill rate across all games based on the last data chart the devs released, but that’s not the same as saying that in principle a killer who is mostly a basic attack killer but has a strong passive ability is bad design. It just means that his specific ability might need a tweak.
"There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a strong passive power"
Actually yeah there is, it shouldn't be stronger than their MAIN power.
So you're wrong.

@BubbleBuster said:
no OP. his chase power is insane as well, even without the box he would not be bottom 3.
sure the box is kinda annoying, especially with the bug that does not allow you to solve it either by it spawning somewhere you cant access or by continously spawning chains even though you try to solve it.
I play cenobite a fair bit and his chase power is VERY good. Sure the box helps but it has a lot of counterplay for survivors such as taking it hostage, solving it when another survivor gets downed, solving it in a place the killer does not want to be (far away from gens, some place with good loops) or just simply ignoring it for a while until you actually need to solve it.
You can also manipulate where the killer teleports to if you solve it.
also he comes
His box is not "kind of" annoying in SoloQ, it's easily the best slowdown in the game by FAR when not playing with a team you can communicate with, and makes Pig's traps look like ass by sheer contrast.
-
@RpTheHotrod said:
He is one of the most frustrating killers to play against. You need a team of survivors who all know his one counter, and that's super rare to get.
In SoloQ it's basically impossible.
It genuinely feels like the game is hopeless if he gets his first hit off and spreads it to 2-3 people with Thana.
-
@Murgleïs said:
You know it’s already broken and banned in comp right ?
And we should care why?
-
Only if it does not work against Killer's with no Terror Radius
-
Yes but it is understandable
Survivors can have 4 of a strong perk.

There is a reason the OG 110 legion that could down you was literally impossible play when he came out. Within the first week of release. I'd say more than 1/3rd of survivors would instantly DC the momment they learned it was a legion and this was before DC penalities.
No one wanted to play against the killer, and so they didn't.
BHVR saw this, saw this incredible amount of negative feedback and made legion a 115 killer but nerfed his power into the dirt because no one liked it. Even after nerfing it, no one liked playing against a legion, he was just a bad killer, so it wasn't something you had to do very frequently. He's still not a fantastic killer, but his buffs made him mid and the recent patch changes are pretty much all amazing for legion. Many of the buffed slowdowns legion uses pretty well and the killer chase buffs are incredible for legion.
He's still not as unfun as the OG 110 legion that could down you no matter what you did despite being a bad killer. Now he's just a mediocre killer with unfun power, which is almost worst because it's actually common and you can't just leave because of the DC penalty.
I agree
Legion now with Thanatophobia is just the worst, I can't stand being injured, mending, and having to do the slowest Gens possible every minute or so.
Not getting hit by Legion in their frenzy is not easy, and requires both luck and the Killer player to make a substantial mistake.

DH was fair and needed against the strongest killers in the game, or against anti-loop killers, but was BS for M1 or weak killers.
But surprise surprise, no one is playing the M1 killers, everyone sticks to Nurse/Blight even when DH is gone, which was the main gatekeeper perk of weak killers
Nothing about DH was fair

@ByeByeQ said:
Forever Legion is torture to play against now. Having to hold M1 on a gen for 90 seconds is bad enough between mends but to add Thana and Dying Light on top, the bar crawls slower than a Jane hit with Knockout. Add in Jolt, Pop, Pain Res or Eruption and I certainly end up preferring a quick death over trying to escape.
Thanatophobia was a mistake
-
They counter tunneling
There is no tunneling in the end game
Simple

The purpose of the update was to increase the power of killers. Now you want to increase the power of survivors? The defeats the whole point of the thing.
Well if you actually played the game, you'd realize SoloQ was never good and has needed these buffs for years.
So yes, I do want these changes. Killers are too good against Solo Survivors now, and I say that as someone who thinks the patch was very good.
-
Nothing.
There are people with thousands of hours who suck donkey ass at DBD.
-
It's been 2 days, they need to grow up.
-
BHVR please fix this, this is an adult game after all, thank you.
-
Dead Hard was the biggest crutch in DBD easily.
Lots of Survivors are tripping over themselves now, and are realizing how much they needed this perk to win.
So naturally there is a LOT of blame shifting.
-
Everyone wants to try out new and improved Killers.
It was a Killer sided patch after all.

What i really dislike about the MMR is that you get punished for other peoples mistakes. Especially DC's and suicides are so nasty, because the game is more or less instantly lost. I play in medium mmr and get paired to good players and potatoes (which is why i am often a filler for a missing teammate i guess). What i noticed some weeks ago when i had really awful games in a row, where i got camped and tunneled multiple times, that the number of potatoes increased heavily for the next days. DC's make it even worse then , because 5 gens with 3 people is possible, but unlikely.
Exactly, it does not matter how good you are, any form of rage quitting is an instant loss 99% of the time.
-
@Mozic said:
Survivors not having MMR would make the scenarios you're describing even more common, since as it stands currently you're being paired with teammates who are at least within the ballpark of your own survival rate.
Survival rate means nothing.
There is no skill to surviving, it is dependent on your teammates and the Killer.

It’s not easier. Actually I would argue it’s harder as they have to make sure to not make contradicting lore and it still needing to feel connected etc.
also, it’s already been confirmed there will be new, original LGBTQ+ characters introduced in the future.
All they did was say he was gay.
That is bottom of the barrel easy.
Christ yall are easy to please lol
-
No, they made him gay for easy brownie points.
It was easier than making a new, original character.
