As a killer, I really struggle with any hooking in a basement challenge. I think I've done one two hook challenge, but then have another 5 hook challenge that I find impossible and am going to have to skip and move on to another tome. Title. I've sort of noticed this recently. Some killers, regardless of match or relative power, make me play differently. If I'm playing Pig, Cenobite, Plague or Demogorgon I tend to be a lot chiller. I'll often let people farm, I'll almost always give someone hatch/gate and I generally won't be especially sweaty. Dead Hard is the only exhaustion perk that actually encourages looping. Sprint Burst, Lithe, Smash Hit, Balanced Landing and Overcome all basically just promote gaining distance holding W. They’re either for playing in unsafe positions or leaving loops. Head On basically just promotes coordinating meme plays with SWFs. If there's one killer that can't commit to chases or it loses the game it's Hag. I allways thought medkits were really strong against Hag, but at least they eventually run out. I feel like it's not even worth leaving the hook and need to make sure somebody is allways hooked all the time and play around it. From all the complaints I've seen from Survivors saying NOED is a crutch perk, it's so op, etc. Sure it helps out killer players that aren't doing well in some games but, maybe that's because oh I don't know the killer should have the advantage if they're getting destroyed and NOED helps with that and even then it's still not op like most players say. In case you are wondering what brought about this anger, I was going back to complete some old tomes when I had to a do challenge involving Blood Echo. 5 matches and another perk later I got it done. Blood Echo, on paper, sounds okay. You hook a survivor, and any other injured survivor is easy to find and down. There comes a point where you get so tired of seeing the same thing over and over again that you just want it gone some day. For me, that's Dead Hard. I'm a 85 survivor, 15 killer main and even I get sick and tired of people running Dead Hard in EVERY SINGLE MATCH. I have 4k hours in this game and one of my friends has about 1.5k hours. We assume that we are near the top end of the MMR system, but probably not the absolute best. We don't use full meta perks (usually only 1 BT and 1 DS in our 4 man swf). He started a survivor spreadsheet when MMR started to keep track of the killers he goes against. And it's simply for the fact of PC SWF groups I'm always going against. I just feels ungodly unfair. The higher fluidity, speedy as ######### mouse aim, and generally they sweat and are more likely to annoy you with flash light clicking and tea bagging.
